Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Sunshine Smiles enough for giving me the smile I have always wanted. The staff are all so kind and friendly. Dr Munn did my Vaneers and i could not fault him at all. Dr Munn is so professional and he ensured that I was 100% happy with my results. The entire process was super easy. I have received so many compliments on my teeth already. I will definitely be recommending Sunshine Smiles to all my friends and family looking at getting any dental work done.

Fantastic experience: I was quite anxious about getting orthodontic treatment for the first time, but the clinic provided very kind and thorough support from the consultation stage. When I mentioned I was considering Invisalign, they performed a scan on the spot and showed me a simulation of how my teeth would look after the treatment. This helped me clearly understand the process and estimated costs in advance. The dentist is very approachable and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns with great care. I felt confident entrusting my treatment to them and decided to go ahead with Invisalign. The staff are also warm and professional, creating a relaxed atmosphere that helps ease any nerves. I truly believe this is the best dental clinic in Coolum Beach and the Sunshine Coast!!

Recently I have had some dental issues, which I was quite worried about.... during my appointment my concerns were properly reviewed, explained and a simple (honest) treatment plan recommended. This has not always been my experience at previous dental clinics. Fantastic experience: Dr Jonathan Robson and the whole team at Sunshine Smiles Dental have made coming to the dentist an enjoyable experience for me. Since the new ownership, I was really nervous about having someone else look at my teeth however, the care and honesty they provide about my teeth is more important to me than being told that everything is okay. Dr Robson took the time to explain what was going on and used x-rays and 3D scans of my teeth to clearly show me exactly what was going on. I am so appreciative for the honesty and recommendation of preventative treatment to ensure that I don't end up in a worse situation later. Fantastic experience: I was recommended to visit Dr Munn and his team for my dental work. I have never had such a positive experience at a dental practice and I’m so thankful I walked through their doors. Mel, who did my clean was extra gentle and always asked if I was comfortable. She used the Airflow machine on my teeth, which now that I know exists, I won’t go anywhere else. Dr Munn’s practice and team are so lovely and welcoming, and they even held my 9 month old son while I was in the waiting room. It was such a lovely experience, can’t wait for my next clean. Negative experience: I've been a patient at Sunshine smiles dental for over 7 years and was always very happy with the care under the previous dentist. Since the recent change in ownership, my experience has been significantly. At my 6 -month check- up with the dental hygienist, no major concerns were mentioned. But at my next visit, I was suddenly told I needed several crowns totalling over $7,000. I understand every dentist has a different approach, but the shift in treatment and communication style was concerning enough for me to seek a second opinion elsewhere. I hope others have a better experience but I felt it was important to share mine .

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed by Dr Jonathan who took a 3D scan of my teeth as I have been taking targeted chemotherapy for 5 years. Dr Jonathan recognised that I had been having regular hygiene appts but felt that a scan would reveal any current teeth/gum problems. We now have a dental plan to work on together, which I am thrilled about. Having healthy teeth and gums is essential for good health and well being.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful and supportive environment. The reception staff are welcoming and so accomodating. Today we had the pleasure of seeing Lauren and Dianne. My four year old daughter was cared for with such warmth and kindness. I love that Lauren spoke to her and guided her through the whole process with gentleness and humour. Dianne made her feel comfortable and was so gentle. It was a great experience for my daughter (and for me). My older children also see Dr Lachlan and again, shows so much warmth and kindness towards them. He eases them with his jokes, approachable manner and patience. It is a wonderful practice, with a supportive team.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but praise for all the personnel working at this dental practise what a great experience i had on each visit. And i did not need a wheel barrow full of cash to settle my bills as their fees are very reasonable for the quality treatment you receive.

Negative experience: My wife had root canal work, went ahead even with infected tooth, gave 2 injections, waited about 1 min and then started drilling. My wife complained of the pain so he gave another injection waited just 1 min and started again, she could still feel it, so he gave a 4th jab using the green stuff, Finished the root canal in less then 60 mins, gave no script for antibiotics, didn’t discuss the possibility of infection. No follow up was made the next day. By the end of the next day she had fever and her urine was neatly black. Hot into a doctor the next morning and got antibiotics and pain relief. She continued to feel bad for several more days until the septicaemia lessened. Think very carefully before using this dentist.

She is very thorough and meticulous with her work. She fixed up some work I had done by another dentist I was not happy with, and did an incredible job. Fantastic experience: Please don't go to anyone else for a bridge or any other cosmetic work. I am very happy with my new smile. After a year of hiding my smile and being given lots of different advice from lots of different dentists, I finally found someone who was able to fix my perhaps more complicated cosmetic issue. On first meeting Dr Vinny Ankaran , I finally felt reassured to go ahead with doing something about my smile. He has the experience and confidence that I needed. My teeth now look white, natural and straight (no braces were required !). They also feel great. I am loving being able to talk and smile with confidence. My only regret is that I didn't see him earlier. I'm glad I didn't follow more expensive plans at other dentists or get a less superior job done that would have ended up being more expensive in the end. Fantastic experience: Like a lot of people, I have never liked going to the dentist but for the last few years I have been going to sunshine smiles dental and seeing Dr. Vinny who is always friendly, professional and upfront with the costs associated with the dental work. This morning I rang to make an appointment as I was in pain caused by a fractured tooth and Vinny had the morning off so they got me in with Dr. Mani straight away, and she was also brilliant. I recommend anyone with a dental phobia to give either of these two a try!

Fantastic experience: What a pleasure to find an excellent dentist who doesn't want to charge you like a wounded bull. I checked prices with my old dentist and another for crowns and bridges and settled with Vinny at SSD for a much fairer price and superb service. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Dentist is absolutely lovely, made you feel comfortable and relaxed. Dental nurse wonderful also. Do yourself a favour and go there. Pricing is very reasonable .. Will go back :)
