Fantastic experience: Fabulous staff and David is wonderful. These guys don't charge for unnecessary extras compared to previous dentists I've seen. The best in the hood, hands down, and worth travelling to. Love the whole set up and vibe, fun environment & ace for anxious patients.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Erko Dental highly enough. I suffer very bad anxiety which is exacerbated through dentistry work. Dr Dave is just the BEST and is very gentle, calm, patient, compassionate, non-judgemental, thorough and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed and he talks through all options and consequences for me to make informed decisions around my dental health. All the clinic’s team are genuine and lovely people. Brilliant!!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment at Erko dental and was seen by Dr Sam. He was friendly, professional, efficient and explained every step. He also communicated clearly what follow up was needed and the associated costs.

Fantastic experience: Erko is the most wonderful dental clinic! Our family of six have been going for many years. Dave is highly precise and so knowledgeable, he fixed a big problem I had with my teeth many years ago when another clinic had mucked them up. Now my children go to Erko too! Dave was so kind and helped them to get over any anxiety. They’re now excited for weeks in advance to go, I can not recommend this clinic highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I attended Erko Dental after a friend recommended me, “they’re literally the sweetest people ever, and so good!” she said. She was not being even slightly hyperbolic. I saw Angela for my initial consultation (my first in a very long time, I am a bad adult) and she was not only extremely knowledgeable, but her calm energy put me at ease instantly. She discussed my teeth at length with me, and emailed through a thorough treatment plan with a cost breakdown for every foreseeable scenario. I saw David for my first ever filling shortly thereafter and I was a mess of anxiety walking in. He took the time to talk me through exactly what he was going to do, what it would feel like, and basically talked me back from the verge of tears I was sitting on, so by the time we started I was feeling confident and comfortable. He talked me through the process as it happened, explaining what things would feel like, and even when things were going to smell or taste yuck, basically taking away all of the “fear of the unknown”. What a legend! I can not recommend these guys highly enough, they’re professional, upfront about cost, and really great at what they do. The decor and vibe of the whole place is really cool too, and everyone is so friendly! Edited to add: Erko dental flagged a slight abnormality on an X-ray for me in 2018, they picked up a problem on my X-rays in November 2022, by the time I had waited to get in with a specialist and spent 20 months on a hospital wait list rectifying the issue was still only day surgery and healed up perfectly. Had Erko dental not picked this up so early I would’ve been in trouble with possible post surgery complications. They are absolute stars at what they do.

Fantastic experience: i had tooth filling + wisdom tooth removal there, both were done fast and perfectly! i was very anxious about wisdom tooth removal, but the doctor and nurse were so patient and assured me he’d let count and let me know every step before he did it. it was quick and the wound is small, it’s probably the fastest tooth recovery i’ve had. the environment is fun and chill with friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Awesome dentists and all staff are friendly!! They agreed to my crazy request of permanent fangs and Dr Sam Shaw did a fantastic job, super happy with both the more regular dental check ups I have received and the fangs. Also love the vibe and wall art!

Fantastic experience: Probably the most comfortable experiences at the dentist ever. Receptionist is incredibly lovely and understanding; Dr David Leong was thorough; the set up meant that all photos and X-rays are done in chair and shown in front of you and was explained incredibly well, and was able to work around my TMJ issues. And on top of it, they had a payment cap for new patients. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Went to Erko Dental for a new patient check in/scale and clean. Was really impressed with how thorough they were. If you are looking for a kind, LGBTQIA+ friendly dentist, give them a go!

Negative experience: Was made to wait for 35 minutes before being told that I would need to reschedule. I would recommend going somewhere with better time management skills and capacity to predict appointment duration.

Fantastic experience: Dave the dentist was amazing with my Mr 9. He talked him through what he was going to do/what it would feel like . Mr 9 felt calm and happy all the way through and loved the special goodie bag. They did a x-ray and talked me through how many more baby teeth were to come out and also did before clean photo and after so my son could see the difference. Just so happy with Erko dental.

Fantastic experience: Great with kids! We have been going to Erko Dental for a while now and have always had excellent experiences. Recently we took our 2 year old for her first visit and it was an incredibly positive experience. Dr Nika got down to her level to say hello, then was calm and kind throughout, including her and consulting with her. She now loves the dentist and can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Came here instead of opting for a "cheaper" visit to a dentist my health fund would discount. I checked their website and after looking at their company mission statements and staff profiles, I felt this would be a much nicer and genuine experience for someone like me who is a bit nervous seeing a dentist. So glad I did - the difference was in the service, the tools, the team members and my experience. Every part of my care was explained thoughtfully to me and with advice as to next steps and outcomes. Despite regularly visiting dentists my whole life, my visit to Erko Dental was the first time a dentist explained to me the areas of brushing I should focus on for key teeth, with photos and advice. Overall a really pleasant experience and will now consider this my regular dental spot. Don't overlook this location because your health fund may offer you a bigger rebate somewhere else, the dollars you might save you lose in service and quality of care I have experienced here. Plus, the difference in cost is minimal anyway. So happy to support a local business in Erskineville, thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Really great dentist. Cool setting, relaxing atmosphere and super friendly staff. I got told I need to floss more, though EDIT: 2 years later: took the daughter here for her first visit and they were amazing! And didn't judge me for taking 2 years to come back.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited this dentist in Erskineville and cannot recommend it highly enough. When you walk in it's more like a boutique hotel than a dental practice! The staff are super friendly and for someone who is not a massive fan of going to the dentist they really made me feel at ease. Without a doubt the best dentist I’ve ever been to.

I had a front tooth crown done a couple of years back and have been super happy with the results. Fantastic experience: The best Dentist I have ever been to and I have been to a few. The practice is very welcoming and friendly environment, immediately helping with any nerves.. and I have alot when it comes to being in the dentist chair. Dr. Dave is a master at his profession, he naturally makes you feel at ease and is super skilled at his job. I almost didnt want to put up a review as I know whoever goes will never go to anyone else and it will make it harder to get appointments, but these guys deserve to be recognized for such high quality service always delivered with a smile. You always leave feeling they really care about doing the best they can for you-Worth every single penny every single time.

Dr. Dave is very professional but friendly and is up to speed with all current dentistry practices. Really thorough and they follow up with you to see how any dental work is going/feeling. I will be bringing my little girl here too for her first dentist appointment! They are very cool and family friendly :)

Fantastic experience: Local and terrific. If you want Invisalign, Dave is your man to see. He is definitely an expert in his field. Along with his amazing team, you don’t have the dreaded feeling of going to see the dentist anymore.

Negative experience: Really terrible experience. I went back multiple times to a young dentist who didn't listen to me when I said my teeth felt strange. She claimed there was no problem and I had a tooth ache for 6mths. When I finally went back to a more senior dentist he recognised the problem and rectified it for free. Also they treated me like I wasn't in the room - dentist and dental nurse catching up like girlfriends at a bar whilst doing my teeth! The place has nice decor, but bad dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Honestly this is the best dental surgery ever. I have a huge fear of dentist stemming from a bad experience somewhere else and the staff here are so amazing. Fantastic experience: I was a very nervous referral patient who had been avoiding getting a dreaded wisdom tooth out for years (6). I was resolved to have it removed under a general anaesthetic but met with Dr David and then Angela who gave me a lot of comfort around the IV sedation / in chair option. I was still pretty reluctant when I fronted up for the extraction but can honestly say that I was in the best care possible and true to her word, I dont remember a thing! So very, very happy (and relieved...). Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: First time patient at Erko Dental. David was thorough and gentle. I had small chip on my back tooth and David was very honest, he said that I didn't really need to get it filled as at the moment there was no other damage (I decided to get it filled anyway:). Like most, I don't really enjoy going to the dentist, but their friendly manner (and cool practice) means I'll definitely be back for my regular check-up and cleans. Plus - love that dentist clean feeling:)

Fantastic experience: These guys are the bees knees. I received a thorough treatment plan written in 'non-dentist' English, understandable for the average Joe. Pricing was fair and reasonable with the option to pay on a payment plan. I underwent 5 fillings and 2 extractions over the course of a couple months and endured no pain what so ever during or post-treatment, even after having 2 wisdoms removed. Mel is the business, cute also. I shan't be going anywhere else for as long as I'm living in Sydney. Thanks groovers!

Fantastic experience: Have seen both Mel and Angela here. The most recent being extraction of a tooth by Angela. With an an almost psychopathic aversion to needles, I hate going to the dentist, however Angela made the whole experience painless. I must say, I didn't even feel the needle going into the roof palate which normally makes me jump through the roof. Very modern facilities, and a great attitude by all the staff, who are always friendly, and personable - an all round excellent experience. Loved that they range me and checked up on the pain levels a few days after the extraction as well - very professional and thoughtful. Highly recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: Great dental surgery! Highly recommend them. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed with a yummy fresh refreshment - you are made to feel at ease. We see Dr Dave and his chair side manner is fantastic. He really knows how to put the kids at ease. My 3 kids love going to see him as they get to lie on the chair and choose a show to watch on the ceiling while he is treating them - it's a fantastic distraction.... and another highlight is the goody bag they get to take home - it's a sure winner and it makes it so easy to say 'kids we are off to the dentist today'!

Fantastic experience: Have been to Erko dental a few times now and cannot fault it. I've had cleans, fillings, whitening and wisdom teeth extraction done by both Dr Dave and Dr Angela. They are both professional, gentle and very patient. I have also taken my toddler for a first time check up and they were great with her. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: We saw Dave this morning for the first time. Very impressed with his rapport with my eight year old. We both received a nice long chat before our check up which is nice when you are going to a new dentist for the first time. Everything was explained thoroughly. The practice is very modern and professional and the staff are lovely. The dental show bag was a hit too.
