Fantastic experience: Dr Taing is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He’s extremely gentle, understanding, and knowledgeable, and he always talks me through everything so I know exactly what’s happening. He’s is really friendly, which makes the whole experience so much easier. I don’t live near Traralgon anymore, but I’m still more than happy to make the trip down just to see him. I can’t recommend him enough!

Negative experience: They'll take your money but won't do any work I was left with a huge cyst in my mouth and had to go to a different dentist to get treatment Irish charged over $200 for an x-ray and an examination and re-booked in a month's time when I had a 4 cm cyst in the roof of my mouth and it was affecting the stability of my teeth thank God I went to another dentist for help if the cyst had a burst I would have been in a lot of trouble. I was also quoted over 1400 dollars for a deep clean and 1 tooth removed. After being in a hell of a lot of pain last night I booked at a different clinic in Morwell and they are seeing to my problem they have already removed one tooth and they will be fixing the cyst above my mouth tomorrow the month long wait at Pacific smiles was definitely not worth the weight I did not expect a dental group like you to try and rip me off and also not bother doing anything about the cyst in my mouth I could have ended up in hospital. I called another Pacific smiles dentists and they were shocked with the amount that I was quoted for a deep clean

Negative experience: I attended this dentist as they were promoting the government child benefit scheme. We waited a half hour past our appointment time although there were no other clients there at the time. He appeared efficient in his work (as it was government paid for) but then had referred us into an orthodontics- his friend who he promoted as best and gave the impression there are no other orthodontics in latrobe Valley and he will only refer to this friend - his friend also has no available appointments for months. I have found there are many other orthodontics in the valley but I will now have to pay for more xrays as the dentist wouldn't refer. Mind you this dentist has just received payments through the scheme, for xrays. I have been attempting to call pacific smiles and discuss but they never answer their phones! .. This place is a chat yet again taking advantage of a government benefit scheme!!!!! Worst kind of con artists out

He is the most skilled and competent dentist we have met and is super understanding. From the moment we enter all the way to clear and thorough after-care instructions. Fantastic experience: Great dentist. Friendly staff at reception. Got called in on time. How rare is that, and dentist was very kind and well mannered. Hardly felt the needle. Tiny little bite. Went inn for an extraction and dentist was able to save tooth and repaired it like new. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: They need to hire new receptionists. There’s only one word to describe them. Incompetent! There were 3 of them and none of them know what they are doing. Dentists were great. But it took 1 h to get payment done correctly ! If this business is to waste people’s time, then yes, pacific smiles traralgon can be no. 1.

Negative experience: My visit to Pacific Smiles Dental was an odd experience. Dentist who I seen did not show the xray, I was in pain, so didn't think much of it at this point. Being a dentist, they normally show whats going on? Loose filling initially required to be refilled and agreed prior to commencing, and yet the entire tooth had to come out after shaving half the tooth off, no choice at that point. Smell of decay not there. Understanding it was a difficult tooth to refill due to position. Going from her words, seeing the tooth after without breakage after extraction, just normal filling rot (minor) roots fine, extraction deemed unnessarry. I would have left the tooth until I saw my normal dentist. I did email requesting xray, no answer! It would be great to have this x-ray for peace of mind due to x-ray regarding my health, not the dentist at Pacific Smiles Dental Traralgon Victoria. The youngish woman dentist said she enjoys dentistry because there is art to it. Health and not visually seeing an xray prior to an off procedure is not art. However, the receptionists were kind and respectful. Appreciate your work. Could not reply back to response, no action on there behalf just words and an unnecessary procedure. Thanks for a $2000 forthcoming cost for an implant and a missed absence. Great work.

Negative experience: It took 9 weeks for an appointment which I stated it would be an extraction. Time came on Monday the 25th of July. Had to have an X-ray which could only get a picture of half of my wisdom tooth, to then be told that it couldn’t be done by the dentist and would refer to oral surgeon. I was no better off than 9 weeks ago, and then charged $112.00. This was sickening, because all I got for my $112.00 was a phone number of an oral surgeon which I couldn’t make an appointment until late October. DISGUSTED!!!

Fantastic experience: Had X-Rays, check up and clean. James was brilliant and all staff I encountered were polite, friendly and efficient. I was in and out in half an hour. I would recommend James to anyone.

Negative experience: The health questionnaire is an insult, two pages of do you have this, do you have that, do you have aids, not do you have a transmittable infectious disease !
Fantastic experience: Pacific Smiles made a trip to the dentist as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can be. Very easy online booking and confirmation service. Dr Cheung was very gentle and made some helpful recommendations. Fantastic and efficient all round.
Fantastic experience: I went in on an emergency dental voucher and the staff were absolutely fantastic. They were kind, courteous and were making polite small talk between the serious business. They even called me back the next day 24 hours to the minute from my procedure to ask me how it went and if there was any pain or swelling in the area and reaffirmed the care advice. Highly recommended!
Negative experience: Very rude dentist i saw today. I had a tooth removed and still had an impacted wisdom tooth, I asked for pain medication after and was treated like a junkie! I was told " I removed the tooth and my job is done". I asked what about aftercare? He said " Too right mate" What was that supposed to mean? Treated very poor and with a heafty bill for all of that, Advoid at all costs. If anything there are dentists that cost much less then this clinic that treat one like a human being.
