The clinic is always really accomodating with any emergency treatments and in the event Dr Tomo is unavailable all of the other dentists are really good too. Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Yui Tomo today for my regular checkup. I have always been nervous about going to the dentist after having the dentist from hell in my youth. Today was no exception. Yui and Amanda, his assistant, were great in getting me relaxed, chatting away with me. They are patient, professional and caring. I have no hesitation in recommending Yui and Adelaide Dentalcare to new clients.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Adelaide Dental Care for several years. Despite the retirement of Dr Greg Hyde the newer dentists are fantastic. Procedures are explained carefully and the staff are friendly. Located at 45 Grenfell Street in Adelaide means the location is so convenient if you work in the CBD.

Fantastic experience: Easy to book via their web site with great communication via text message. Service was excellent. 6 monthly clean and check up with Dr Lo. found a small cavity that required a filling. Painless. Will be back to see Dr Lo in another 6 months.

Fantastic experience: Getting a scale and clean usually leaves your gums sore afterwards but somehow Dr Chen has me leaving her office not even feeling like I’ve been to the dentist! I’ve seen her several times now and I can’t believe how well she is able to perform the scale and clean with no pain afterwards and minimal discomfort during. She is an incredibly skilled professional. She is also absolutely lovely and makes me feel so comfortable. All the other staff members and the receptionists are also absolutely lovely and such a pleasure to deal with. Very fair pricing too! Cannot recommend Adelaide DentalCare enough!!

On calling, the reception was both professional and informative with the receptionist giving me details about the practice and parking options. The dentist was pleasant, competent and gave me plenty of information about my treatment options. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

Negative experience: I have been patient of Adelaide dental care for over a decade and have recommended this practice to several others. Unfortunately, with the recent change in management, some of the changes implemented/ enforced are not so great. It's like no one stopped and thought why patients love this clinic and it's original charm. All that charm, care and personalisation has been bulldozed in the name of forced modernisation imposed on both dentists and patients. So now it's just an average whitewashed clinic like many others around. Luckily previous dentists are still there doing their best for their patients and loyal patients like me would go there for them. I don't know why there is a feedback form when feedback is not desired but rather submissive agreement.

Fantastic experience: So I've been coming to ADC for the past 15 years or so...but I am a reluctant patient, generally nervous about dentists, hating the idea of even local anaesthetic infiltration let alone anything more invasive The team at Adelaide Dental Care work hard to alleviate this anxiety. They've encouraged me to have regular dental reviews, including with the ever efficient dental hygienist as well as the dentists. Today was a simple filling - although terrified at the prospect, the team from reception, dental technician and Dr Hyde all made me feel comfortable and pain free. The fee charged was reasonable, especially considering the costs of office space, X-rays, dental chair, lighting, instruments, sterilisation, consumables and wages. Fantastic experience: Dr Yui is wonderful. Professional, quick, great pain management. He offered to fix my front tooth filling which wasn’t done by him - the filling was darker than the shade of the tooth. It’s perfectly fixed by him, I couldn’t see the filling at all after fixing. And the way he removed my wisdom tooth was beyond exceptional. I did not even know it’s done. I didn’t believe him until he showed me the tooth. He’s definitely the best dentist I’ve seen in the last 10 years. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I actually enjoy going to this dentist! The wonderful Mel has been keeping my teeth clean for years. Dr Tomo (Yui) did a stellar job of some aesthetic dentistry for me recently and talked me through through the whole process whilst in the chair, so I was fully at ease. Naomi very kindly looked after my newborn for me whist working in reception the whole time I was in the appointments. Couldn't recommend this team highly enough.
