Fantastic experience: Many thanks to Dr Joe for looking after me for the past year. I had extensive dental work done and my teeth are looking beautiful and healthy now. Dr Joe is skilful at his craft as well as very caring. I also appreciates his patience as i am not the bravest when it comes to dentist visits. I felt comfortable and assured despite long procedures. My experiences with Dr Joe is that he executes to perfection every time. I am very fortunate to have him as my dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Joe Zhao from the MCDental Glen Waverley branch is the most talented and best dentist I have ever come across throughout my lifetime of experience with dentists in Australia and overseas. His competences and skills are like no others. I had multiple crowns, veneers and an implant done (with bone grafting) by Dr Joe over the past 1 year, since late 2024.. He is efficiently fast, yet precise, and gets the job done superbly and always exceeding my expectations. He has transformed and given me a confident, smile that I am so proud of. I find Dr Joe to be extremely gentle, caring, patient, intelligent, honest and his happy and jovial personality is so assuring and relaxing. I do not fear going to the dentist anymore, in fact I always look forward to seeing him and sitting in his reclining chair. Well done and thank you Dr Joe Zhao, you have my vote for the BEST Dentist Olympic Gold Medal award!!

Negative experience: Came here for a filling. 1 hour appointment stretched to 2.5 hours and when I came out I got a ticket. Within 2 days I start to have an excrutiating pain of the same tooth. Now looking at another $1000 for a root canal. Thanks for making it all harder for me. Will not be back

Fantastic experience: Dr. Joe and his team were truly a blessing. This was my first visit to a dentist in a very very long time. In extreme pain, with no choice and highly anxious, my work colleagues dragged me to see Dr. Joe in tears. Dr. Joe went above and beyond, he organised an appointment, reassured me that everything would be ok, was gentle, jovial, passionately professional and very kind. At the first appointment Dr. Joe took the time to explain everything in detail and showed genuine care and compassion throughout the process, his priority being to keep my anxiety low. He made me fee safe. After taking initial x-rays, he arranged to see me the next day. He then followed up on the Saturday to make sure I was ok. Dr. Joe is brilliant and the dental practice stands out for its use of advanced technology and cleanliness. The entire team is outstanding and the emphasis on patient care and comfort make this practice exceptional. I cannot thank Dr. Joe and his team enough, I will be forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: First of all, it's amazing that MC Dental provide service 7 days a week, and even on public holidays; they understand that life (and emergencies) happen regardless of business hours. Further, the dentist I saw (Dr. Jane Sun) was amazing! Understanding, inquisitive, insightful, and VERY gentle - I had a very large filling that had detached from the tooth, and aside from the unavoidable discomfort of the anaesthetic injection, I barely felt a thing. I've found my new dentist, put it that way :)

Fantastic experience: Although I did not follow through with my wisdom teeth removal and decided to go through the public health system, I would very much recommend MC Dental. The staff have been incredible with their service with Dr Ivan explaining everything I needed to know in a clear and friendly manner and the receptionist was also extremely friendly. All the facilities are new and I was at ease the entire time.

Fantastic experience: The whole team from front desk to doctors in MC Dental Glen Waverley are so professional and down to earth at the same time. My family has seen Dr Lisa and Dr Vicky, both doctors are very professional, reassuring and good at comforting patients. They explain thoroughly the problems and treatment plan. Being a dental phobia, they have managed to put my nerve at ease and even looking forward to next appointment to have my dental issue fixed. The clinic is also very clean, bright and equiped with most advanced equipments. I feel that my family is in good hand being patient at MC Dental.

Negative experience: Had a root canal treatment recently with Dr. Cherry at MC dental. The staffs are friendly and patient, the environment is clean and bright. I got actually very nice overall experience here, except the treatment outcome itself. During the treatment, the drill was broken and left in my root canal. Dr Cherry tried her best but just couldn’t get it out. As the result I have to visit the specialist which will cost me more than $3000 and will take more than 6 months to finish the rest parts of the treatment.

Every part of my appointment went well, reception staff, clinic easily accessible, nice new high tech clinics, open and upfront about costs. Joe was brilliant and have now relocated whole family to this clinic. Very happy

Fantastic experience: The clinic environment was clean and well-organized. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. Dr. Lisa and Dr. Zhao were both highly skilled and patient. Dr.Lisa helped me with a filling, and the entire process was quick and reassuring. They excelled at calming my nerves and making the entire experience much less stressful. The nurse was also very gentle, ensuring I felt comfortable at all times. Dr. Zhao helped me with wisdom tooth extraction and an implant procedure. Both went smoothly, and my recovery has been excellent.

Fantastic experience: Upon stepping into MC Dental, one could easily mistake it for an upcoming cafe, I would even say it got my tummy rumbling for some hotcakes paired with a latte. The “head chef” named Anthony Nguyen served me up with some smooth and fresh bedside manners throughout the seamless check up of my teeth. Not an ounce of discomfort was felt, plenty of entertainment (steaming services, killer Spotify playlist etc) available to me and a very well informed session of the process every step of the way. I walk away not a changed man, but an informed and prepared man. Informed of how the decisions I take today onwards will impact my oral health, and prepared to combat whatever threats may be lurking behind every chew/sip from now on.

Fantastic experience: Had a somewhat of an emergency appointment with Anthony and Kim, as I wanted to just rip my own tooth out to stop the pain. Anthony and Kim were so sweet and patient with me, always making sure that I was comfortable, tapping my arm to distract me when I was getting numbing stuff to ease my tooth pain. They looked for other affordable options for me either there or elsewhere with a public dental facility. They both made the pain less exhausting whilst being with them. I’m really grateful I had them both than anyone else for my first time back at a dentist since I was young :) I would 1000000% recommend both Kim and Anthony for help

Fantastic experience: Great new facility, everything was modern and clean. Had a check up with Doctor Anthony and was highly impressed. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. It's very hard to find all these traits in one person and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Negative experience: Went for cleaning and scaling, was asked to pay an additional $75 for a "check up" even though the dentist would already have a mirror in my mouth for scaling??? Scaling/cleaning was the roughest I've ever experienced- in all my years of going to the dentist. Looking elsewhere for my next appointment.
