Negative experience: Really disappointed in my visit, I googled “bulk bill dentist Nowra” and being the first place that appeared on my screen I made the call, when booking I had asked the receptionist if they did bulk bill through Medicare and she said yes. forgetting of course to mention it’s only for under 18 yo until after they had completed my appointment and decided to charge me $518 for a check on one tooth and a filling on the same tooth. no clean, no check up. When I asked why does it cost so much she said “it goes off the size of the hole and you had a pretty big hole”, the assistant although seeming really nice and was happy to joke about seemed inexperienced the dentist had to show her how to hold the suction thing and many times the suction thing had been way to far down my throat. All this led to a very disappointing visit. I’m not a mean person but thats my rent for this week on one tooth that I thought would be bulk billed I’m sure you can understand my disappointment as a 19yo studying and working minimum wage living out of home trying to afford a $500 filling with no notice.

Fantastic experience: Having been a patient at Pacific Smiles Dental at Nowra for several years I have had a few different dentists look after my teeth and my partners' as well. The two dentists that have stood out to the both of us as being really great and next level in care are Michael Pham and Alice Song. Their professionalism and quality of work has been outstanding and I would highly recommend them both. We have always been treated with professionalism, respect and courtesy by the counter staff and dental assistants as well. Also recognition to Shirelle at the front counter who works very hard and always welcomes you when you arrive. This in no way denigrates other dentists as, some I have seen who were good have left the practice and and there are others in the team I have not seen.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Yiyun Song and assistant were awesome to deal with, they made the whole process of visiting a dentist a breeze. I was also quoted there and then with no delay so there weren't any suprises. The Receptionist was also very welcoming as well and quick to the task at hand.

Negative experience: Do not go here! They conducted two unnecessary fillings on my wife’s teeth and have done the same to others we know when we brought it up, purely for their financial gain. There are a plethora of good dentists in Nowra, there is no good reason for these unethical money spinners to remain. Go elsewhere.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. I will never go back there again the dentist didn’t listen to me removed teeth that shouldn’t have been removed. I’ve had to go to a dental specialist had a serious infection and ongoing issues since the beginning of May when I went for toothache. The only upshot is they have agreed to pay all my costs back to me on condition I sign a “without prejudice” letter after seeking legal advice this will not be happening as they were the ones that raised the issue of litigation.

Negative experience: I visit a dentist every 6 months and recently decided to use a local dentist after moving from Sydney. I booked online with Pacific Smiles and completed their patient questionnaire and delivered the form to reception three days before my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I was asked to complete the questionnaire. I replied I had already done so and had delivered the questionnaire some days before. I was then told it had not been scanned into their system and they did not know where it could be, so I assume it was therefore lost or misplaced. Considering the questionnaire contained personal information plus names and contact numbers of other people I think this is very poor. Therefore I decided to cancel my appointment.

Negative experience: My son had a tooth removed, was not put on prophylactic antibiotics. The next day he had an infection, his whole face was swollen and he was in a lot of pain. He went back to them and they cleaned the site and gave him a script for antibiotics and analgesia. His face continued to swell and the pain didn’t recede. They called him back in so the original dentist could look at him. The dentist cleaned the site again gave him a prescription for another antibiotic and then charged him $230 for the service. So my son paid for this original dentist mistake. Then as my son was leaving the dentist told him to go to emergency. Maybe if he had given the prophylactic antibiotic in the first place none of this would have happened.

They’ll be no stopping me at Sunday lunch now! ;) Reception is friendly although availability of appointments can be tricky. The seats in Reception need a good steam clean, but other than that, this practice is great!

Negative experience: Love the ease and flexibility of arranging an appointment however two dentists missed my tooth issue. Another dentist at another practice quickly diagnosed the issue and swiftly removed the tooth. Can’t possibly go back to Pacific Smiles again.

Negative experience: It was a while ago but I had a tiny hole in my tooth, they left some mm of tooth around the edge but took out the rest and filled it up. It cracked shorty after.

Negative experience: I have been to PSD - Nowra twice. First had a sore tooth dentist spent approx 1 minute on the diagnosis could'nt identify the problem - $60 bill for less than 5 minutes. Made an appointment for a clean returned for the appointment with a different Dentist who spent about 5 minutes cleaning and 15 seconds polishing. Also X-rays to identify problem from first visit - identified filling requiring re-newing. Previously a defence member - service dentists spent approx 15 - 20 minutes cleaning and couple of minutes polishing minimum. Before leaving Dentist applying pressure to have the filling done.

Negative experience: Bad experience with this angry dentist. Was told over the phone they could fit me in to repair a chipped veneer and quoted $300, but once I was in the chair the dentist said he would only be assessing me. Charged me $45 to give me a quote of $1500 for a porcelain crown. Went to Amazing Dental and got the repair I asked for. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Negative experience: I attended this surgery on Tuesday. Reception staff lovely BUT... The dentist I saw was the rudest man and unfeeling,(I was in a lot of pain) I have ever seen. Was absolutely useless refused to treat me, instead gave me a referral to see some dentist in Wollongong. I had doubts and luckily was referred to a great dentist in Berry who treated me immediately. Don't go there.!!!!! Worst experience ever!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Had a toothache over the Easter long weekend, and was really relieved to find Pacific Smiles not only open but able to see me the same day, Easter Saturday. Dr. Ron was friendly, informative and made me feel at ease. The extraction I needed was performed professionally and quickly, with minimal discomfort and then I was on my way. Great service!
Negative experience: Terrible what a load of rubbish misdiagnosed complications regarding future teeth work what are they thinking ?
