My 15-year-old son had a crossbite and underbite (class 3), and while a larger orthodontic practice suggested only monitoring until adulthood with potential jaw surgery, Dr. Ruby confidently used braces to correct both issues. The results so far are fantastic—his smile is looking perfect, and hopefully with continued maintenance can avoid invasive surgery.

Then I met Dr Ash, he explained me the entire procedure and all of my queries with great patience and ease. He told me I ll be out of pain after the appointment, and yes I am out of pain. My tooth was decayed and I had two options,either to pull it out or to undergo RCT. I opted the second option. After the first visit, I have no pain. Looking forward to visit again for the completion of procedure as I was told it was a 3 visit step. I would recommend everyone to visit Dr Ash for all of their dental needs. Negative experience: Avoid This Place at All Costs! I had an absolutely terrible experience at this dental clinic. My first appointment — a routine check-up and cleaning with Dr. Ruby — went well, and based on her advice, I scheduled a second visit for three tooth fillings. That second visit turned into a nightmare! As she began working on the first tooth, I felt tingling and noticed my mouth starting to swell. I immediately told her something was wrong, but she completely brushed me off and started speaking to her assistant in another language. Despite the clear signs of a reaction, she continued working on all three teeth and finished in under an hour. By the time she was done, my mouth was extremely swollen — I looked like I had lip injections gone wrong. She didn’t acknowledge the swelling at all. No concern, no explanation, no attempt to stop the procedure. When I looked in the mirror, I was in total shock. She offered no help or diagnosis — just handed me a $600 bill and told me to go to a GP or the emergency room. I did just that. The GP was appalled. He said it was a clear and avoidable reaction to the acid dentists use to prep teeth. Any competent professional should’ve paused immediately, had me rinse with baking soda and water, changed gloves, and avoided using that product again. But none of that happened. Her handling was negligent, careless, and honestly, dangerous. Even worse — the fillings didn’t last. All three broke shortly afterward, and I had to pay a new dentist to redo the work. That’s right: I went through the whole painful process again and paid for it twice. This place is beyond unprofessional. I seriously question whether Dr. Ruby is even properly trained. It felt like she got her qualifications at a beauty salon. Save yourself the trauma, time, and money — go anywhere else! Response to the owner response since Google doesn't allow replies, and because I found their response to my review deeply disappointing, both in tone and content: Firstly, the timing of my review is completely valid. I wrote it after experiencing care at another dental clinic (Dental Boutique), and the contrast was so stark that I felt compelled to share how subpar and upsetting my experience at your clinic was. Bringing up that I used a Groupon voucher or missed an appointment beforehand is irrelevant and appears like an attempt to discredit my concerns rather than address them. Now to clarify your inaccuracies: I never insisted on getting all three fillings done in one appointment. That’s simply not true. I trust professionals to guide that decision. If it wasn’t appropriate or advisable to do all three in one sitting, why was I booked that way and three were completed anyway? The suggestion that it was a seafood allergy is speculative and unprofessional. I was only asked about allergies after the procedure was done and I noticed visible swelling on my lip. I still eat seafood to this day without any issues. The GP I saw afterwards confirmed it was likely a reaction to the dental materials used—not food. I was not treated with care or concern. Instead of helping me or trying to understand what went wrong, the dentist repeatedly insisted she had done nothing wrong and focused more on defending herself than listening to me. When I asked for documentation about the materials used—on advice from my GP—no one from your clinic followed up, despite my message and request. All three fillings fell out within a short time. That is not normal. I did not return because I had already lost confidence in the clinic and did not feel safe being treated there again. The work simply was not done to an acceptable standard. Since then, I’ve had all the damage corrected by another dental clinic where I was treated with respect, caution, and actual professionalism. X-rays were taken, thorough checks were done, and not a single filling has fallen out since. Your response to my review only reaffirms the lack of accountability that patients like myself have experienced. I sincerely hope no other patient has to go through what I did.

The clinic is super clean, modern, and has great equipment, which made me feel comfortable from the start. My case was a bit more complicated and took longer than usual, but they were really understanding and made sure I was looked after the whole time. The dental assistants are also great , Ankita and Upesana are both so friendly and polite. They made the experience feel relaxed and welcoming. I even got a follow-up call the next day to see how I was going. I’ve had a few procedures done here, including regular cleans, and everything has been top quality. The pricing is also comparatively reasonable, which was a nice bonus on top of the great care I received. My parents have also been treated by Dr. Ruby and they love her, they mention how nice and kind she is. Can definitely recommend this place if you’re after a good, caring dentist.

Negative experience: This clinic would be the most awful dental clinic I’ve ever stepped in and the audacity to send me an automated birthday text today making relive the trauma all over again. I came in for a wisdom tooth removal which needed the expertise and qualification of an oral surgeon as the tooth was intertwined with a nerve. Your receptionist claimed that the doctor whom was to attend to me was a qualified oral surgeon. I was in severe pain and crying and yelling my lungs out as this doctor chiselled away on my teeth and nerve and finally admitted to me that he has no oral surgeon but just a dentist. He butchered my gum and left me bleeding and swollen and in severe pain and sent me off to hospital and claimed I had a panic attack which I very much didn’t . Your clinic has forever left me traumatised !!

Negative experience: Attached is an email I received from their RECEPTIONIST. Awful, traumatising and unprofessional experience with wisdom teeth removal. The surgeon was brutal, ignored and invalidated my pain while I was sitting there sobbing in the chair, jolting from how much pain I was in, it actually felt like torture. He did not communicate what was going on during the procedure. I went elsewhere for my other side and words cannot describe how much better the experience was, no pain at all. You need a new receptionist, that email was my final straw to moving clinics.

Fantastic experience: I recently had dental implants at Diamond Dental Bundoora to replace a very old (37 years) bridge that needed attention. Dr Ash Gulati was very professional in all aspects of his work. On my first consultation he dismissed any talk of dental plate or root canal and convinced me implants were the best. He gave me a detailed quote of all procedures I needed and it showed the time frame and payment schedule. He was always clear on how it would proceed and it worked out beautifully. His staff were very good , his surgery is modern clean and the equipment was really good. During our meetings he showed me images and files to help me understand. I was very happy with the whole process and would recommend his services for any complex treatments

Fantastic experience: I went to a dentist in Highpoint and had them butcher my wisdom tooth for over 2 hours trying to extract it, hands down my worst experience at any health clinic by far but happily for me I came across the team at Diamond Dentist at Bundoora and I can say with out a doubt it was hands down the best decision I ever made the professionalism and level of knowledge these guys had when it came to getting the job done was just beautiful, Dr Ash had my tooth out in 7 minutes tops. Negative experience: I do not recommend this clinic to anyone because my sister went to fill 4 molars, 2 above and 2 below, on the right cheek, and the doctor did not do an X-ray before the filling. After that, they discovered that my sister had an infection under the lower molar because the doctor did not do an X-ray before the filling. The next day, she had gum inflammation in the lower molar, swelling and severe pain. After that, my sister went to the GP, who told her that it was either an abscess or an excuse. She had to go back to the doctor who caused this to do an X-ray again and see what happened. Indeed, she went and found that because she did not do an X-ray from the beginning, she found an infection that reached the nerve, so she removed the filling again and put a temporary filling that covered the abscess and infection. After that, her cheek swelled and she felt severe pain. The next day, she went to the dental hospital in the city. They did an X-ray and found that the infection had spread throughout the gums and pus as well. So the doctor who caused all of this was supposed to remove the filling and the nerve, clean it, and then apply an antibiotic. Vital and then put the temporary filling but she did not do that at all but she suppressed the infection and pus and of course after all that it caused my sister's ear to be affected by the infections and also she has not been able to open her jaw until this time because the infections and nerves are very inflamed
