Fantastic experience: Simply great! Had my wisdom tooth extracted for the first time here months ago and had an amazing experience. Calm environment and friendly and pleasant staff. The dentist was very skilled and I did not feel the pain at all during and after. Even better he was humorous which relieved me of my nervousness. Without me even feeling it my tooth was extracted. Definitely worth trying if you are the first time.

Fantastic experience: Before any work is started they took time to explain why I had the tooth ache and what were my options to rectify it. There was zero pain during the procedure and advice given to what to do when I get home to avoid pain , I followed their instruction and had zero pain.

Negative experience: Sent you 2 emails, talked to you on phone, don't know where you are coming from implying that I have not responded. Tried to get my dental records. Further to our correspondence I have not received a copy of my Dental Records. If I do not receive a copy by Friday 3rd May you will leave me no option in the first instance to lodge a complaint with the Aust Health Complaints commission if this is unsuccessful I will lodge a complaint with the Dental Health Board. Fantastic experience: if i could give them 100 stars i would! i came today for my first time for a consult and i couldn’t be happier with my results. all of the staff working were so lovely and the dentist was very patient and helpful when i expressed what i wanted. we then went over the price and once i was happy to go ahead we looked at availability for booking. and the dentist kindly worked over time to do my filling on the same day which i was so grateful for. he listened to my concerns and double checked everything with me and did an amazing job. i’m so happy and will definitely go back to this practice. they also gave me a little gift pack of hand cream and essential oil! the best service and treatment i’ve had ! i would definitely recommend

Negative experience: My partner and I have been going to this clinic for years. I would say Dr Nolly is quiet rough with his cleaning however all the other dentists we have gone with are gentle and much nicer. All the assistants and reception staff are lovely. Unfortunately, my Husband had a general check up/clean in June which we book bi-annually as per health fund and recently and was charged the gap fee (advertised on their website they are a gap free dental clinic). We have never had to pay a gap fee ever before. This fee was $111 out of pocket. I calles up and spoke to the team after finding out from my partner when he got home of the charge they had replied mentioning they recently started charging the gap fee and that they notified clients. We were never notified of this and to find out only after having the clean/service is just poor form. It isn't that easy for some people to just cough up $100+ for 1 singular appointment especially in this economy and when never having to pay a gap fee in the past. This means they are FALSELY advertising being a gap free clinic. I am so dissapointed.

We sincerely apologize for any discomfort or inconvenience that may have arisen during your recent visit. We appreciate you expressing your concerns about the change in our gap fee policy. For more than eight years, Plaza Dental Centre has been proud to offer gap-free cleanings as a service to our valued patients. Unfortunately, due to recent changes in the reduced amount health funds are covering for dental care, we find ourselves in the position of needing to reassess this offering.
Please know that this decision was not made lightly. As a small business, we are committed to providing quality dental care at affordable prices. However, the costs associated with providing the level of care our patients deserve have risen over time, and our ability to absorb the gap is no longer possible. According to our system you attended our Practice on March 2023, prior to the gap-free special ending. On the day of your appointment, we waived the gap of $192.50, with your Health Fund paying $113.50. On the day of Kevin’s appointment his Health Fund paid $81.50 and the gap was $111.00. Unfortunately, $81.50 would not cover the cost of materials, and professional expertise.
Regarding your disappointment in not being notified about this change in advance, we strive to communicate any changes in our policies clearly and promptly to all of our patients. We sent two emails to our patient database on 15 May and 24 May notifying our patients of the change. According to our system your email address is registered on our database and the notification should have reached your inbox. From 20 June we sent text messages to patients before they attended appointments notifying them of the change and displayed signage in the practice.
The advertisement on our website regarding gap-free cleaning is directed toward New Patients as we still offer new patients a gap-free clean for their first visit. We genuinely apologize for any miscommunication that may have occurred and have made this message clearer on our website.
Your feedback is essential to us, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding and support during this transition. We are committed to working closely with our patients to ensure a smooth and transparent experience moving forward.

Negative experience: My partner went for a dental check up today. Before we went, we clearly stated what we want and asked whether they bulk bill, and they said yes ( we have a recording of the initial call thanks to our app) However, on the day, they clarified that Medicare does not include any dental service AFTER THE SERVICE, which the person did not bother to tell us the day before or before the service. They used our lack of knowledge around the service and mislead us to use their service and scammed 160 dollars out of us. Shame. If you are an ethical service, please contact us to make it right.

Unfortunately, there seemed to be a misunderstanding regarding Medicare benefits and our current Gap Free Check-up & Cleaning promotion with your Private Health Fund.
We train all of our staff members to know and communicate clearly to patients that Medicare does not pay for Dental treatment in Australia, except for kids under the age of 18 years, and only if they fall under a certain tax bracket. We apologies that there was confusion about this when it was explained over the phone.
At Plaza Dental Centre we always provide clear information to our patients, especially about costs and treatment. We would never want our patients to feel mislead or taken advantage of and that is why when we discovered the misunderstanding we provided your partner with a discounted fee from $358 to $160 for his check-up, cleaning, fluoride treatment and x-rays.
Again, we sincerely apologies for the misunderstanding over the phone. If you would like to discuss this further please contact us via the phone or the emails we sent your partner on 25/1/19 and 29/1/19.

Fantastic experience: Can I just say how grateful I am to have Dr Nolly as my dentist. I have had endless issues with my teeth, from having my front tooth accidentally knocked out when I was pregnant and having to get a crown, to wisdom teeth coming up and getting bad infections and having to pull them it out. He has helped me through it all. My daughter has also had braces put on by him. Payment plans available for single parent families like myself. And as I have been on and off private health funds most of my life, having the no gap cleaning with plaza dental is a great option. The girls are warm and welcoming always and just a great ambience when you walk in. Louise is lovely and kind when doing the regular cleaning on my daughter’s teeth. My son (non verbal autistic) doesn’t really like the chair but Louise is so patience with him when he has his teeth checked. Really recommend. Thank you Dr Nolly and girls for taking care of us.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nolly is so kind and thoroughly explains what is happening throughout your appointment and provides you with choices then assists you to weigh up pros and cons. When he removed my wisdom teeth a year ago I was surprised at how little pain (only the anaesthetic needle hurt) and it was super quick - like minutes and it was out. He thoroughly explained the after care and he organised for one of the ladies to call me the next day to see how I was feeling. Love also receiving a christmas card from his team!
