Fantastic experience: We just had our first visit to this clinic and were very impressed. I love that it does not have an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry. Advertising on walls and in the waiting room is the main reason why I wanted to leave our last clinic. The world is toxic enough in the way that it makes us feel like we are not good enough. I don't need our family's medical practitioners to be participating in that. Dr Lisa was wonderful... warm, practical, relaxed, encouraging, meeting the patient where they were at.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr Atoosa Meftah was literally perfect - not one thing I could fault. After going a far too long without a checkup I was slightly embarrassed and worried about what we'd find in my initial appointment. Dr Atoosa was completely non-judgemental and took great care of my teeth while explaining everything she was doing, and making sure I understood every step of the way. I left my appointment feeling far better than I walked in. Looking forward to coming back every 6 months to stay on top of my dental health!

Negative experience: I went to the dentist and I honestly can't express how poor my experience was. My face has been numb for days, despite being told I would gain feeling in a couple short hours, the dentists also kept spilling mouth wash on my face. My teeth are smaller and yellower after the visit, and I didn't at all enjoy the paste that was put on my mouth at the end. I will not be bringing my business back here and I encourage everyone to do the same.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this clinic. All of the dentists are wonderful. Alifya at reception is the loveliest, and so attentive. Dr Sukhmann is kind, gentle and thorough. I had anxiety before attending and she entertained me with her charming personality but also provided practical tips on how to maintain my teeth, putting me at complete ease. I have also seen Dr Atoosa and Dr Michelle, who are also absolutely fantastic. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I am so grateful to these professionals for their care and going above and beyond.

Negative experience: I feel like they ripped me off and took my hard earned money despite being a valued customer. Saw Dr S Mann as the retaining wire had partially come off my one of my teeth. I did a clean and check up at the same time. I’ve had this happen before and the dental clinic I went to in Sandringham did this for me for $60. Dr S Mann charged me $510 for this claiming there was no code to put it through so put it as a filling 3 times claiming she connected it to 3 teeth. I was shocked as it was a 5 minute job. The actual clean that took 30 minutes was only $125 so 35minutes in the chair I walk away with a $735 bill!! Dr Mann tried to tell me that it was so high because my insurance cover was poor and put it on me. I must say I’m 36 weeks pregnant and struggling with many hefty medical bills. Dr Mann knew how ridiculous the bill was for a simple task as without asking she took $100 off when I questioned it but still feel very cheated being charged $410 for a job that every other dentist has billed under $100 for. The actual dental experience was fine, it’s a shame with the having to rip off clients as I’ll be finding a new dentist now

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this dentist enough! I have a huge fear of dental visits, but my dentist was incredibly patient and kind from start to finish. She took the time to carefully explain every step before doing anything, spoke in such a reassuring way that eased my anxiety, and stopped whenever I needed a break. Her attention to detail was fantastic, and she also gave me great advice and tips for looking after my teeth. I left feeling confident and well cared for — so much so that I happily rebooked my 6-month check-up on the spot!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Prajakta Phadke for over a year now and I couldn't recommend her more highly! She is kind, empathetic and you can tell that she genuinely cares about her patients and their health. She has done multiple fillings for me and a wisdom tooth extraction yesterday, which have all been very positive experiences. Maddie at reception is always a joy to deal with too and I enjoy coming to the dentist now (which is something I never thought I'd say)

Negative experience: As a result of my own experience, I would not reccomend the Pacific Smiles Dental franchise. I attended both the Oakleigh and Mulgrave clinics approximately five times in about a week due to issues I experienced with a tooth, post-surgical healing and medication subscription. The communication and advice was poor and left me in a situation where I was in severe pain feeling helpless. Seek dental services elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Had a wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr Shady and it was a wonderful experience, which is not something you would expect when someone is cutting into your jaw! But Dr Shady was positive, supportive and overall did his best to make me feel as comfortable as possible through the whole ordeal. He was very informative and The extraction itself was clean and well done, and I healed up in no time. :)

Fantastic experience: Great place. Open all 7 days - so very convenient. Cordial reception. Precise, no nonsense, professional advise and service. The ease/comfort they provide with their assurance and during the surgery/consult are very good. The proactive follow ups doctors do is very helpful too. Especially, appreciate Dr Prajakta Phadke and Dr Maan for their confident and cordial treatment, and their being able to predict the exact course of symptoms, treatment, procedures and post procedure effects and their management. Negative experience: Well I went to get a clean and checkup done by Dr. Michelle who recommended that I should get a filling done. I went back today which was 6 weeks from my last appointment and saw another practitioner and she said I don’t actually need a filling unless the decay gets worse. And I was still charged consultation fees even when I didn’t have to get the filling which was recommended by one of their practitioners. They didn’t charge me for the X-ray but I still had to pay out of pocket which is quite ridiculous. Not happy with how I was treated, even though my partner and our kids have both been going to them for a while.

Fantastic experience: Shout out to Erica at the front desk! I had some troubles sorting out my wisdom tooth extraction surgery. Erica went above and beyond to help me, including finding dentists to write a referral for me, contacting I-Med to send scans, chasing after various people, and so on. She's super friendly, patient, helpful and extremely capable in her job role. The practice is lucky to have her!

Negative experience: I had worst experience here I have done my tooth treatment here but still I face pain and I was told that if I have any problem then I will be consult with any senior doctor without any charges but they just take charges so they are interested in taking charge rather then patients treatment

Fantastic experience: Dr Praj and Sarmin looked after me very well. Dr Praj was thorough and gentle, giving me lots of breaks with my TMJ disorder. My pain was no worse than usual the next day. I avoided going to the dentist for years because I feared pain but since I’ve been with Pacific Smiles in Oakleigh, it’s not a problem anymore!

Negative experience: Came here for a checkup and ended up with a tooth ache. The dentist could not find any problems with the naked eye but x-rays revealed some minor decay on one tooth. The tooth in question already had a filling, so clearly the dentist was out of her depth in such a situation. God only knows what she did but she ended up killing the nerve in this tooth which will now require a root canal. The tooth was sensitive straight away and when I told the dentist about this she just told me to use Sensoodyne toothpaste. I don’t know how Pacific Smiles recruit their dentists. It seems to be very easy for inexperienced and incompetent dentists to work at Pacific Smiles, so I would be very wary about coming to this place, unless you want them to give you a tooth ache.

Fantastic experience: Had a couple of dental appointment with Dr Atoosa at pacific smiles which have been really high quality. I’m not the biggest fan of going to the dentist technically I hate going to the dentist but Dr Atoosa made my visits there very reassuring and comfortable.She is professional, competent and has a gentle demeanor which puts you at ease. The staff at this dental clinic are all friendly and approachable. Would definitely recommend Dr Atoosa if you want a gentle and competent dentist! . I know dental surgery is very expensive but It is also unlikely that you have to have a moment of silence for your bank account being at pacific smiles .

Fantastic experience: I recently had a session with Dr Atoosa and I was impressed with her excellent work. She is extremely skilful and expert also gentle, meticulous and conscientious to fix my teeth. She spent quality time to fix my tooth also diagnosed a defect with my other teeth that was not diagnosed in previous session with other dentist quite recently. She not only fixed my tooth but also offered advice on how to keep my gums and lips healthy. Apart from her excellent work I found her very caring and loving person, a real human that put her heat and soul into her work and work to offer her best services to her clients and make them happy and satisfied. I believe I found my lifetime dentist and I definitely cannot recommend Dr Atoosa more.
