Negative experience: My experience at this clinic was all kinds of bad. When I first made my appointment I called them ahead of time to confirm if my private health insurance covers the costs or would it be an out of pocket expense. But the person who answered who I assume was the receptionist refused to answer my inquiry and said we should discuss this on the day of the appointment. This itself is so bewildering to me. It can’t be that hard to answer a simply question instead of trying to lure people in. On the day of my appointment, when I asked the receptionist (Saturday arvo) about it she was extremely condescending towards me. When I asked told her that the person told me on the phone how we can discuss she told me rudely “It wasn’t me who spoke to you on the phone” and when then while I was making the payment and for some reason my payment got declined she made a sour face and said in a rude tone that I should go get a new card. Who does she think she is? I was seated for a while waiting for my appointment and she was just as rude to another lady. Instead of answering her inquiry she demanded payment. Please advise your receptionist to fix her attitude. Now about my clean up, Dr Nair seems like such a kind and gentle soul but I’m not satisfied with my treatment at all. I have good dental hygiene and there was pretty much no difference before and after my cleanup. And that was not the case dyeing my previous clean ups. Will not be going again, that’s for sure

Negative experience: They rob you for literally nothing. Barely saw me and charged me $160. Dont go there. There's more humane places to go to that wont take advantage of you. Dont walk. RUN. They chipped my tooth, didnt even warn me that could happen and then they charge you for that.

Negative experience: I attended and had a horrible time. The dental assistant was all over the place the door wasn't closed and I could hear all the noise from the lobby and I left with really sensitive teeth now when i drink anything my teeth hurt. Would not recommend.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in there aftercare following a procedure. If you truly care about your patients the least you can do is prescribe them with something strong after having done a invasive surgery.

Negative experience: I'd give zero stars but to post a review, I am forced to give them 1 star for which they don't deserve. My visit to Dr. D Patel's dental office was profoundly disappointing. Right from the start, the misinformation provided by their staff regarding the need for prior records set a concerning tone. Upon arrival, Dr. Patel's lack of care during the check-up and cleaning left my teeth and gums in pain, which is unacceptable for basic dental care. The ambiguity surrounding the recommended filling and the need for more clarity regarding the associated costs were extremely disappointing. Patients deserve transparency about their dental needs and expenses, which Dr. Patel failed to provide. Also, the appointment felt rushed, lasting a mere 15 minutes without considering essential X-rays covered by my health fund. Dr. Patel was more concerned with quick turnover than ensuring proper care for patients. This experience left me feeling dissatisfied and disregarded. Despite insurance coverage, the lack of proper care and transparency made it feel like a complete waste. I won't return and wouldn't recommend this practice to others seeking genuine dental care.

Negative experience: I went merrylands pacific smiles on 6th Nov 2023. I made a call at the first, but the receptionist seems not happy when she greeted me at the front clinic desk and I asked politely if she got some attitude on me and I actually want to leave already cuz her terrible customer service and poker face. she turned so aggressive to me and said: I don’t make money from you, the money go to dentist. No matter what happen to this reception day, it’s not my business to receive her bad emotion. Not professional and I wish the shop owner give her a better training or otherwise this lady own parts of share of the company? However, the worst reception experience in my life so far. I just said I need to see a dentist that’s why I’m here today. Anyway, I won’t recommend this place to my friends and family.

They just need a better registration system, their website is way too hard to use. Took me and the receptionist a while to find the option of no allergies, and didn't end up finding it.

Positive experience: I've usually been going to the Parramatta branch but this is a newer and easily accessible clinic located inside Merrylands shopping centre and i needed an urgent appointment and they had plenty of times available to book online. You can easily find parking spot here. First experience with the dr E enu in this clinic has been good. The receptionist needs to be a bit more welcoming. She made me book 2 appointments in advance which i did not need. I have been a client of pacific smiles for past 2 years and this is not a requirement but the receptionist would not have it any other way and was rude and dismissive of anything i said. However i will be visiting this clinic again.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dhaval Patel made my tooth extraction so simple and painless. I was always afraid of dental treatment, but after this session, my fear was greatly reduced. Fantastic experience: Honestly my first experience at a different clinic was so bad that I never wanted to go to a dentist again but the experience I had at this clinic was the best I’ve ever had thanks to Dr D Patel and the staff. My fear of dentists in general has gone. The staff and even the Dr’s assistant were all so lovely and comforting it was the best service ever!!

Negative experience: Probably the worst dental experience of my life. I was made to hold my own suction tube because they were understaffed. It was all so rushed that my cleaning and polishing only lasted 5 minutes. Was told by the dentist that She would see me in 6 months then the receptionist told me I needed to come back in a few weeks. All seemed like they were trying to get me back to get more money out of me. I’ll never go to another Pacific Smiles after that experience. Already booked in to see another dentist.

Fantastic experience: It was our first experience after changing our health fund. I can assure Dr. Megha Sharma and the her dental assistant Akanksha were really friendly and make mine and my husband general dental check-up and cleaning whole process very smooth. They also gave friendly tips on oral health and hygiene. I will highly recommend them and would love to come back for our regular checkups. The front desk representative Ting was really helpful and friendly and make our first visit memorable. Kudos to the team at Merrylands.
