After hearing many horror stories about friends and families experience with wisdom tooth extractions, I found Dr Pinho on the internet and boy am I glad. Not only Dr Pinho offered a very affordable options to take out all my four wisdom tooth the experience cannot be smoother! (Yes there were a little bit of wait at the hospital but compared to public hospital it's nothing!) I was put asleep, wisdom tooth taken out and after a day or two I cannot feel any pain! A week later went back for a review and all is looking good and I'm so glad I won't have any more toothache and Dr Pinho made it all possible. Amazing results. Thank you Dr Pinho and the Team making the entire experience very accommodating and smooth!

Fantastic experience: I had a bad experience for wisdom tooth extraction for my bottom two wisdom teeth at another dentist. The whole extraction took around 1 hour and the post-operative pain was very bad. I also counted I had 13 ulcers later appeared in my mouth, which means my previous dentist was quite rough with the extraction and damaged many areas of my mouth. However, it was a totally different story with this time when I’m taking out the top two wisdom teeth with Dr Paulo. The left side of my wisdom tooth was apparently “very easy” so it took only about 5-10 seconds for Dr Paulo to extract, my right wisdom tooth was apparently “more difficult” so it took about double the time to extract, which was 10-20 seconds. I was utterly amazed at the skills of Dr Paulo, he also went in great details about the surgery before and all the post-operative care. Honourable mention, my first appointment here was with Dr Joanna for teeth cleaning and whitening. I had a long history of unable to book for a teeth cleaning with dentist due to financial reasons. However, Dr Joanna wasn’t judgmental and spent her time very patiently cleaned my teeth in a very skilled manner in both cleaning and patient care. I would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone as the dentists and surgeon here are great with both skills and patient care.

Fantastic experience: I had a complicated wisdom tooth to be taken out. My dentist referred me to a specialist. Meanwhile, I found this dental practice online and gave it a try. I consulted Dr. Michael Spiteri. After taking a 3D scan he was positive that he could take out the tooth. He did the surgical removal excellently. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Spiteri.

Fantastic experience: Can’t thank Dr Paulo Pinho enough. I was very nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed - a different practice had told me I needed all 4 removing which was strange as only one was bothering me, they also wanted to charge me $2000 per tooth! I went to Dr Paulo for a second opinion (free consultation) he did an X-ray ($100) and he said I only needed one removed, and if I’d have removed all 4 it might actually have caused my other teeth to move and become wonky! I booked in to have my one wisdom tooth removed, came back a week later for the surgery, was in and out in 30 minutes (the surgery literally took 2 minutes and I couldn’t feel a thing) and it only cost me $300! So affordable, so professional, thank you doc :)

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr Paulo Pinho for a free consultation on my decayed molar tooth a week ago. He explained to me clearly that it's better to have it removed instead of trying root canal. Everything he said made a lot of sense. He then recommended Dr Michael Spiteri for the extraction. I went for the surgery the next day. All gone very well. I didn't feel any pain at all during the surgery and only minor pain on the first night. It's been a week and the wound has fully recovered. They are both very professional and caring dentists. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs dental care. Professional service at a reasonable price!

No nonsense, honest advice and efficient delivery. They got me in urgently also so thanks to Marileen and team. Have had 3 implants done with Dr P. Guraridis also in the past 3 years. Negative experience: Dr Pinho was in a word, Brilliant! id give Him personally 5 stars just based on the brief interaction I had with him. He knew before I had even said a word that I had come to him for a second opinion & certainly a second quote as I was previously quoted $4289 just for an Oral Surgeon (that's not including hospital stay or a anaesthetists fee). Rightfully so as Dr Pinho quoted $970 for 4x Wisdom Teeth plus $150 as I need an extra tooth removed. Great Price in comparison, I should note that I do not have private health insurance so even with that price I was very happy to say the least. I left feeling a huge weight off my shoulders, that was until this morning........ now i just feel as though I have wasted my time. What isn't found on the website or mentioned by anyone until the consult, is that any treatment is subject to approval...... well to my disappointment, I was Not Approved By The Wisdom Teeth Professionals! Not even an explanation or a recommendation just, "Nope, sorry you need specialist. Goodbye! "

Fantastic experience: I've received several treatments from Dr Douglas Lo over a couple of years now and I've always been more than satisfied with the completely professional & caring service I've received from him & his staff. Having a wisdom tooth extracted is never 'fun', but my recent visit for that purpose was, literally, painless and quick. The subsequent contact a day or so later to ensure 'all OK' was also appreciated. So having had different procedures with Dr Lo, from a simple check & clean, to extractions, I can highly recommend this experienced, capable & caring dentist. You're in very good hands!

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend paulo pinho enough. I was going to be charged over 5.5-8k for 4 wisdom teeth removed when only one was an urgent problem. Paulo made me feel comfortable and the procedure was quick. He answered all of my questions and the price was only 300 for tooth removal. I am a more anxious person so this was definitely a scary experience, but I’m glad I went here and not to a dentist that cares more about $$$ than their patients.

Negative experience: Response to owner reply 25/10/22: I indeed reviewed the correct practice and dentist (Dr Paulo Pinho) and everything I said in my review is true. Just because your business changed your pricing since then doesn’t change my horrible experience with this dentist. Don’t discredit my true account of what happened! Original review: I came to this practice after reading all the reviews and their website which advertises a low cost and professional service, hoping to remove my one impacted wisdom tooth. However came out feeling like they prioritise profit over what the client wanted. I was quoted nearly $2700 to remove all 3 of my remaining wisdom teeth in day surgery. I didn't want to remove my upper ones but he apparently won't remove just a single one. I also brought in a 3 month old X-ray but was told it was rubbish so had to pay another $75 to get the exact same thing done at their practice. Glad I went to another dentist for a second opinion, I only paid $315 inc consult fee for a simple extraction and it was done in 30min.

Negative experience: I made the appointment online. The booking confirmation email showed me the address was 235 Macquarie St, which was totally wrong. Then I went to the address listed in their website. Door closed. I called them, the gentleman said he'll find someone to call me back soon. Nothing. Why all the information is not correct? So, You think I was blind 5 years old and gave a one star review just for fun?

Positive experience: Appreciated that the consultation was free, great location and receptionist friendly. However Dr. Paulo told me as I am 39 that I am very old for wisdom teeth extraction and he wouldn't touch them as they are too complex and would need to see an oral surgeon. I mentioned that I had been in extreme pain for a week and he recommended mouth wash. I think maybe they should say on the website that they won't do wisdom teeth if you are over 35 to save people a day off work and trip into the city. For comparison I went to a different dentist who put me straight on antibiotics for a bad infection and they did a 3D ultrasound which showed they could extract in the chair which I had done no problem.

Fantastic experience: Very expert, very reasonably priced, and the clinic is simply amazing, spotless, and of the highest caliber. The best part here was the receptionist; she was so supportive and very friendly .. Do not confuse this one, with no gaps one on Wynyard's back street.

Fantastic experience: I had all four of my wisdom tooth removed with minimal pain and swelling, from price point to the recovery proceeds, I would highly recommend Dr Pinho.

Positive experience: If you complain about anything your cancelled. Had issues with being asked without warning the day before my daughters operation to pre-pay everything, also told the day before by hospital of an unexpected $300 gap, told the day before to bring x-ray they already had. A lot of miscommunication between the dentist and practice manager. - he says she will explain everything about the process, she says her role is only to make bookings. Dr Pinho makes out he is at the mercy of "head office" to approve or deny, but it is only his practice and how he feels about doing an op on the day - ABN 82486615658 is his Trust that has "No Gap Dentists" and "MDS Health Services" (that bills for the work) and most of the other business names. "Wisdom Teeth Professionals" and "Sydney Dental Images" (brand on xrays) do not exist (are not business names) and are being used in breach of the Business Names Act. "The Wisdom Teeth Professionals" is a Victorian Business Name B2274843R held by Pinho Dental Pty Ltd.

Fantastic experience: Dr Paulo was helpful and explained everything to me really clearly. In the end I could not get my surgery done by Dr Paulo, but he told me everything that i need to do find a surgeon that can do the surgery. Wish i could do the surgery with him as i have only heard good things about him. The receptionist was also really helpful!

Negative experience: I was avoiding having to do this but considering I’ve been badgered with calls, texts and threats, I think I should publicly let people know my experience. I booked online and did not receive confirmation of my booking until 11pm the night before. I attempted calling multiple times to confirm my appointment time however my calls went unanswered. On the day of appointment, the receptionist, who was kind and helpful, ushered me into Dr Pinho’s office. I took a seat at this desk and it took a whole minute for Dr Pinho to look up from his computer screen and acknowledge me. He apologised that he could not get up and todays consultation will be different to usual as he is in pain. I felt like I was spoken at with a well-rehearsed speech rather than taking the time to understand what my needs were. His computer was connected to the tv display to discuss my scan. During my consultation, I could see that Dr Pinho was googling knee surgery for himself. He seemed confident that he could remove my wisdom teeth “I’ve seen and done this many times” although he needed to get approval from a board regarding prices. I was confused by this idea and enquired who the board was although I couldn’t get a clear answer. He instructed to me call a number the next morning to see if I could get the surgery done for the prices quoted online. I walked out feeling confused and uncomfortable. I phone the number the next morning and was advised that they cannot do my surgery, when I inquired why she said my teeth require a surgeon. I was under the impression I was seeing a surgeon. I made it clear in my appointment booking and referral that I brought along which I apparently didn’t need. Unsatisfied with the experience, I left a 1 star review. 20 minutes after this review, I received a phone call from Dr Phino yelling at me. Since I was unable to get a word in and felt that it was harassment, I hung up. I then received a very long text message, from his personal mobile number requesting I change my review. Coincidentally, hours after I left this review my professional account was negatively reviewed by a person unknown to me. I booked this appointment based on all the good google reviews but now it’s clear to me that negative reviews just get harassed into changing them.

Fantastic experience: All the staff is very friendly and professional. I have always been afraid of going to the dentist, but they both are very kind and I felt relieved instantly. I went for a cleaning and check up and the service was excellent and paid only $99!!. I also got a quotation for an implant. Excellent value and service. Was easy to book online. Will come back for an implant soon. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an excellent service and price!

Negative experience: Possible they most humiliating and worst consult ever, arrogant and lack of empathy. You educate people you don’t make them feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. The only good thing is the reception lady. Took the day off work to come in and when I do that I don’t get paid as I’m a contracted worker, he simply did not care about how far u travelled and what u did to come and see him, just honestly they worst consult ever, I felt this the minute I walked in, if your having a bad day that’s not my problem. Feeling annoyed because you need to educate patients show no trust even if u could have done would have not gone ahead.

Negative experience: After Mr Paulo suggested he’d pursue legal action against me because of this review, it has been reworded before it went public to avoid any possible misinterpretation. A few months ago, I was attracted by the inviting prices this company offers and contacted them to have my case evaluated. I was told 3 of my teeth would be simple extractions, but the 4th was complex and would not be done by that same price. I then asked them to extract only the other 3 - but they refused to do so. Frustrating experience, but even though I ended up paying a bit more at other clinic, it's totally worth it the customer service this one lacks.

Negative experience: Very hard to contact these people, I booked an appointment for my daughter. I been told its a Telephone consultation. I confirmed the booking by replying 'yes' to the SMS one day before my appointment. On the actual appointment day, I waited for an hour but no one bother to call me. On Next day, I tried to contact them again, but got a message saying their mailbox is full and then I replied to the same number which I got SMS that I haven't got a call to discuss my daughters wisdom tooth extraction. But no reply. I tried to contact them on following week again to find out what's happening, my call got answered this time but the receptionist was so rude. She said doctor might have got confused as I replied 'Yes' for the SMS on Wednesday and sent a Text on Friday again. I told her it doesn't make sense as my appointment was on Thursday, how can he get confused if I text on Friday which is after my appointment date. She hung up the phone saying to email the surgery if any issues. I asked for EMail id but she didn't even bother to answer my question, but just hung up......

Negative experience: So unprofessional !! I've seen this in comments with other people so we can't be wrong. Turned up to my appointment today at 11AM Friday and it was closed !! That is the appointment I booked online and it was available. I rang the lady who said she will have someone call back, nothing !! I had to take a day off work for this, absolutely ridcioulous. They tried to say my appointment was 9PM Thursday. Why the hell would I book an appointment that late ? I have the text message if you want to see it. I also went next door to the practice and they said I was the 3rd person who showed up today but it was closed. You need to fix your system, absolutely not acceptable !!

Fantastic experience: My experience at Wisdom Teeth Sydney was five star! I was in need of getting my wisdom teeth removed, but the cost was too much until I found Dr. Pinho. During consultation Dr. Pinho was very helpful! He explained my options thoroughly and allowed me to ask anything I felt I needed to. I only had my upper wisdom teeth removed as Dr. Pinho said there was no reason to take my bottom wisdom teeth out, which I was glad I could keep them! I am very nervous going to dentist's so he thought I'd do well with sleep dentistry. It was fantastic!! Dr. Michael put me to sleep a bit and then Dr. Pinho removed my two teeth. It was super fast and I was waking up to leave before I knew it! I had very little pain over next day. By day 2, I wasn't taking any pain pills at all! I had almost no swelling! Dr. Pinho did a fantastic job! I'm so thankful I found the clinic and for the care I received from Dr. Pinho and staff! I highly recommend going here!! Thanks so much Wisdom Teeth Sydney!

Fantastic experience: Wisdom teeth were professional and efficient and most importantly costs were managed from the outset

Positive experience: Competent and experienced professionals. Dr Pinho's approach is very conservative, I am 25 (the upper limit age for removing wisdom teeth with low risk of complications) and only had my impacted upper ones approved to be removed because the gum is more flexible. He explained my case very well, all the pros, cons, options (including not removing any at all) and my views aligned with what he thought about information about wisdom teeth that's out there. Trustworthy expert advice, and the procedure was surprisingly painless. Didn't even feel the incision and was over before I knew it. Minimal soreness afterwards.

Negative experience: Worst customer service ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone. First of all at the time of my appointment I was shocked about the way the dentist was talking to the other staff (the receptionist I think it was). It was not a very friendly atmosphere and I felt very awkward as a client. Also I have been calling every day for the past week to get them to email me the xray that they took so that I can show it to a specialist who will be able to remove my teeth. Every time I call I tell them it's very much urgent and every time I'm told that someone will call me back which never happens.

Negative experience: I called on Thursday afternoon for an appointment on Friday 3pm in Sydney. I showed up, the door was closed, ring the bell, no answer. I then called again and the receptionist confirm that YES I have an appointment at 3pm Friday and she will leave a message for the Sydney office to call me. I then had to leave because nothing happened and went to another dentist (I was in pain with wisdom teeth). At 7pm another lady called me back and said my appointment was 3pm Thursday and I DIDN'T show up, and she said they didn't open because they didn't have any appointment on Friday. So whose fault was that, we'll never know.

Fantastic experience: I got one of my upper wisdom teeth removed. I was a bit worried about the procedure, but I must say the injection I received was one of the most painless ones I ever got and pulling the tooth itself was over within a minute. It is not a pleasant experience, but it was quick and painless and the nurse that took care off me was very supportive and I had no trouble after the procedure apart from some minor swelling.

Fantastic experience: The service was great. I had a really expensive quote from a surgeon on Sydney's Northern Beaches who charged me $190 for 45 seconds of consultation. I thought i'd better get a second opinion, I found Dr Pinho online and went to see him that day. He gave me a quote which was less than half the amount quoted by the other surgeon, he also didn't charge me for the consultation as the appointment was slightly delayed. From there I booked in to have the surgery done at Randwick Day Surgery a month later and had the teeth removed. All the staff were great and there are no complications from the surgery. Fantastic experience: Dr Paulo was great, but I'm most appreciative of how affordable the whole thing was. After going through the checklist of "subsidized dental surgeons" my priv. insurance offered me, most refused to reveal prices and would only tell if I booked with their surgeon which was a cheap trick to get my money. After consultation with one of the dental surgeons (after a waste of 30mins of my time w unrelated nonsensical chitchat), he then charged me with sky high fees-around $500 per tooth, along w surg +hosp fees, it amounted to almost $3000 before subsidization by priv insurance, even then they were only willing to pay a small % for everything. After delaying this for a year, I stumbled upon this website and was v. satisfied with how forthcoming they are with fees and the whole procedure. Overall, the surg went smoothly, IV cannulation painless, sedatives gave me the best sleep I ever had, prescribed medication was adequate to control the pain, didn't need free follow up session, rate 11/10

Fantastic experience: My normal dental surgeon said he wasn't confident in removing my bottom wisdom teeth so they just got left there. When they went bad I booked a consult online within 5 mins with wisdomteethremovalsydney. When I went in Paulo Pinho was very frank and upfront and quoted a price half of what I was expecting. I was impressed so I booked the removal while still at the consultation. A very good anesthesiologist was there and I felt no pain during the procedure or for hours afterwards. 1-2 months after the removal my Jaw was better than it had been before I grew my extra teeth. Now 6 months later I highly recommend them, it has made cleaning, eating and physical activity so much easier.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous about having my wisdom teeth out because of so many stories I had heard from friends... but I am so happy I went to Dr Phino to take out all 4 teeth. I got an appointment at Martin Place within a few days and booked in for my surgery within a week and a half. The cost was much cheaper than any other dentist/specialist/hospital quoted me. I had the IV sedation and it was fantastic. I don't remember a single thing from the procedure. Felt as if it was over within a minute, I think I slept throughout the whole thing (actually took 45mins). I had minimal swelling and little to no pain, was given all appropriate pain killers etc. After the procedure I was kept with a nurse until I felt ok to leave with my mum. Now just under 2 weeks later completely heeled and eating normal food. Had my free check up with Dr Phino and everything is great! Highly highly recommended!! Also the nurse/receptionist is great and the anesthetist doctor is great too. They make you very informed and comfortable before the sugery.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took all four wisdom teeth out at the same time and I could not believe the quick recovery, thanks to Dr. Pinho! I have heard many stories of people who have extracted their wisdom teeth and their bad experiences, including not being able to move for days. She was able to do her daily activities after only two days! Dr. Pinho is a professional with a high level of expertise, no doubt. I highly recommend Dr. Paulo Pinho to anyone who needs their wisdom teeth extracted, as he did an amazing job for an affordable price! The staff were also extremely supportive throughout the whole process.

Positive experience: A very honest professional dental practice. Concentrating on wisdom teeth and oral surgery in Sydney CBD is a pretty clever idea, so all credit to Dr Pinho. It makes for a very efficient process, especially when you already go knowing your wisdom teeth need to be removed. Much cheaper than the oral surgeon my dentist refered me to who wanted about $3000 I think- here I paid $970 for 4 wisdom teeth, need I say more. I was really happy with my procedure and recovery was also smooth.

Negative experience: Advertised as an emergency service open on weekends. I was in pain and needed to be seen on Sunday morning. Called and got through to an after hour consultant who promised a call back. Never did and switched off her mobile when I was trying to call again. Pretty disappointing.

Positive experience: awesome service for low cost wisdom teeth removal in Sydney cbd. I booked in and got my 4 wisdom teeth removed within a week. if you get the choice opt for iv sedation. I remember nothing and had no pain during or after!!! cost was $970 for 4 wisdom teeth.

Positive experience: Booked online and had my surgery a couple of days later. I was expecting to wait ages to get procedure after what my friends told me so I was really surprised and relieved. I'm really grateful to Dr Pinho, Renee and the team for their gentle and professional service. I paid under a grand for everything including sedation. Fantastic experience: I was in excruciating pain with my wisdom teeth so went online and booked an appointment- I had my consultation and booked surgery for the next day. Paid a really good price too and got most of the cost of IV sedation back from medicare. If you get the choice definitely get the IV sedation. All the staff in the day surgery are super nice and professional. I felt in good hands. The surgeon is great too and even sees you a few weeks after surgery for a free review

Positive experience: Really great, a bit of a life saver for me. I urgently needed to get wisdoms out in time for travelling overseas this Christmas and they had me booked in and the teeth out within a week. Awesome recovery too I was virtually normal again after 3 days, couldn't believe it. So so grateful!!!

Fantastic experience: Fanatstic. Had my wisdom teeth removed for $970 (very cheap wisdom teeth removal compared with other oral surgeon Sydney) and felt nothing and remember nothing! Everything I wanted. Dr Pinho was also great during my consultation and didn't make me feel rushed like many other medical professionals always do (I always have lots of annoying questions)! Definitely opt for the sleep dentistry if you get the option!!!

Fantastic experience: I had two of my wisdom teeth removed here and am extremely happy with the service and my experience. If I could rate this place a 6 out of 5, I would! It's very good value for money, especially compared with other places. Ultimately I opted to have my two lower wisdom teeth out with local anaesthetic only and they were very thoughtful in letting me know on what I would experience and what to expect post-surgery. They also made sure that I was OK afterward and let me sit down and gather myself together for 15-20 minutes. Really excellent service and I'd recommend him to all my friends. If you need a dental implant, I heard he does them too!

I paid less than half what I'd been quoted by another surgeon (around $1000 including the anaethetics). The procedure was way less scary than I had expected and recovery was super fast and almost pain free. Positive experience: Being looking for a cheap oral surgeon in Sydney for the past year and after been to 2 visits in different clinics I finally got hold of these guys. The only problem is their phone service but once I had the consultation everything went smoothly and very professionally. I saved almost $2000 going with them. they provide sleep dentistry in their own clinic and I felt nothing or remember anything. Had very little swelling and no pain after. Dr Pinho is a skilful surgeon and known for been very gentle. Totally recommended. Paid $825 for 3 wisdom teeth extractions!

Fantastic experience: Dr Pinho and his staff , specially Renne were just great. Cheap wisdom teeth removal with no waiting period. The doctor was gentle and even very cute to be honest. Not what you ve expect from an oral surgeon like the ones i ve been before and were just trying to take all my money. Anyway worth checking these guys out. Paid 970 to get my four wisdom out while at sleep.
