Fantastic experience: I won’t lie - I hate ‘the’ dentist but after 5 years of tardiness I knew I had to bite the proverbial bullet before I didn’t have any teeth to bite proverbs with. I arrived at what was undeniably a dental clinic. There was a reception desk, the smell of healthcare and that drilling sound buzzing from down the hallway but I stayed on task and I’m glad I did. Jason was brilliant - lacking the jargon and tsk tsk-ing that I usually encounter in response to my life fleeing dental care - he set about the task at hand (or mouth) with a down-to-earth manner and complete respect for my special approach to caring for myself. I walked out with lovely clean teeth, feeling genuinely cared for as an individual and I actually think I’ll go back for my six month check up. Thanks Jason and team!

Fantastic experience: I recently completed a series of appointments for lower composite veneers, upper porcelain veneers and crown, and I couldn't be more pleased with the care I received from Dr. Kuan and his team at Advanced Dental Care. From the very beginning, Dr. Kuan went above and beyond to ensure I understood every step of the process. During the initial consultation and through to the final follow-up appointments, the communication was thorough and thoughtful—not just from Dr. Kuan, but from the entire practice. I especially appreciated how the administrative staff were included in all communications, which made scheduling seamless and gave me a true sense of collaborative care. It never felt like my treatment was isolated to just one person—it felt like the whole team was working together to support my outcome. One of the key challenges in my case was making adjustments to my bite to accommodate the lower composite veneers. Dr. Kuan handled this with precision and expertise, and I was very satisfied with the final result. Positive experience: Today I had my 6 monthly Dental Checkup and was extremely happy with the experience. From the time I walked into the waiting room until I finished, the staff were pleasant and courteous. I was treated with respect and most importantly the dentistry was excellent. I have trouble with gagging and staff were already aware and gave me a salt solution to help. I also asked questions on how I can take better care of my teeth and was given helpful advice. I can highly recommend Mayfair Dental.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Mayfair dental (Kuan Chou Kao) for 20+ years now. I do not like dentists however I love Kuan. He has looked after me and my teeth amazingly during that time. He knows I get anxious and before any procedure and gives me a numbing cream before any injection. Then taken into the treatment room, the dentist and assistant explained the procedure before proceeding ahead with the treatment. Fantastic experience: Dr Kao is a great dentist! As a bit of a nervous patient, he makes sure I'm at ease and ensures I'm as comfortable as possible throughout my checkup/clean. I've also found him very accommodating in a crisis. Willing to see patients at the drop of a hat. I couldn't recommend Mayfair Dental more highly!

Negative experience: Went in earlier this year to get a guard fitted. The initial appointment saw the dentist fail to take a impression of my teeth twice as the mixture already set which wasnt the most comfortable experience. The mouth gaurd arrived a month later and did not fit leading to another 2 week wait and in total 5 visits to receive my product. After the 3rd appointment I was told the guard would be "free of charge" which I later found out it means I would not need to pay for another one.... AMAZING! When I finally received my mouth guard during the 5th consultation the gaurd needed to be reshaped to fit my mouth as the impressions again did not take. Now, 2 months later I have not used the product as it still does not fit and have absolutely no interest in going back. I have never written a review, but this is ridiculous, unprofessional and a waste of money.
