Fantastic experience: I am really appreciate the service from Hornsby Family Dental Care. Currently with another dentist, I lost my crown in boxing day. However, my dentist is not working till January 6th, 2025. I was trying my luck to visit Hornsby Family Dental Care without appointment in 27th December 2024. Dr.Samira Bakhshi was there, and my appointment is so quick, I met Dr.Samira Bakhshi in 90 minutes time. The service quality is superb, Dr.Samira Bakhshi explained all procedure in professional matter, and the work was completed within 15 minutes. The clinic is very clean and professional, I do recommend this clinic and dentists to friends.

Fantastic experience: Both dentists and Reception were very accomodating with my situation. My front teeth had been chipped due to a domestic fight I didn’t look great and was very worried I’d be judged. Each visit they were friendly - I received a filling on the top and bottom front teeth, unfortunately the top came out due to night time teeth grinding but luckily they quickly booked me in and did another filling that was even better than the first at no cost as is was only a week or two since I had been there. Theyve now suggested to get a mouth guard to help this from happening again which I will definitely now be doing. I was very worried they wouldn’t look the same as they are my very front teeth but the 2nd filling is great I can only tell it’s a filling on the end of my tooth when I touch it with my tongue it looks the same, It’s been in 1 month now. I was also extremely worried that when they moulded it my teeth wouldn’t close the same but I called them as soon as the numbing cream had worn off and I could feel a difference, I then popped in the next day to get it quickly adjusted. Negative experience: Very awful unpleasant and unprofessional place. i was referred by the lane cove family dental practice to remove 4 impacted wisdom teeth. i requested to be under general anesthesia, and was told on the phone I would be under general. when i arrived for my appointment, i was given a form to fill out without any prior explanation regarding the possible complications, cost and risks of this particular procedure. After my arrival, for my 6 pm appointment it was suddenly postponed and i had to wait until 7.20 pm until the "dentist" Mohammad could finally see me, so i went into the room and i wanted to know more about the papers they made me sign about prices and risks etc. He just kept insisting that i sit down in the chair over and over. i asked about the general anesthetic and things i was told i was meant to have over the phone. He said no i will just be having local anesthesia and the gas. this was not what i was told on the phone, he then started rambling about how much the anesthesia will cost, trying to almost scare me with prices and make me sit in the chair. i refused and left very upset. and have gone to another dentist since and he told me all the risks of my procedure, and it turns out not even a dentist can do my procedure due to the high risks im at of damaging my main nerves and damaging my sinus, i am now seeing a PROFESSIONAL oral surgeon. Another thing was that the whole dentist smelt like garlic and microwave food, it was very unpleasant, it did not have that cleanliness dentist smell. This by far is the worst most awful place i have been to. they don't even deserve 1 star, they deserve -1 star.

Fantastic experience: I was suffering from severe dental pain a couple of weeks ago which got worse on the weekend. I attempted to contact several dental emergency services in the area and in the city however Raji was the only one who showed me the required care and urgency. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Raji for about 10 years now. She has done fantastic work with some serious dental work needed after a fall, as well as a lot of pre-emptive work that managed teeth more cost effectively than the alternative treatments. The staff have always been lovely - dental assistants, reception, etc. The facility is hygienic and comfortable, and although I can’t say I enjoy the dentist, at least I feel comfortable and looked after here.

Negative experience: My experience has been poor and worse since new dental assistant joined who’s either Filipino or some other Asian background I guess. The European lady before her used to be very considerate while asking questions on phone but this new lady starts pitching whether I want cleaning or check up. Sometimes I don’t know ‍♀️ what I want that’s why we pay professionals to rescue us or give us advice. So even before I could tell her my problem/my story she starts telling me about the package, whether I want this or that’s. Even the visit was not pleasant as she doesn’t smile or is not confident. Dentist is fine and lovely as always. But they really need to train this newbie receptionist that I’m talking about! The only reason I use this account is to be anonymous because I’m scared to return back again as they might have agenda against me if I disclose my name. Who knows I might visit again if they train her properly to give a nice customer service or get a new girl. Thanks for reading.

Since my childhood, I have been scared of going to dentist due to which I keep delaying my appointments. Finally after coming to Australia, a day came when I HAD to go due to severe pain one day. Upon reading reviews, I planned to visit this team. This team handled my case so effeciently... I explained them about my phobia too and they were great listeners because believe it or not, people these days are busy and don’t have time to listen to all these stories but Rajji listened to me with “all ears” with a pretty smile during my first appointment. Today I got a tooth-filling and Rajji and her team helped me in such a great manner throughout the process. My numbness of local anesthetic is still there and hoping there won’t be much discomfort or pain after the effect of anesthetic is gone. Anyways, I’m definitely going back if needed, to this dentist team!!! ❣️

Fantastic experience: Just had a very large six tooth bridge put in by Raji. The work took several months and she always made time to see me at short notice when needed. The result was really excellent, much better than the old bridge it was replacing. I've been going to Raji since comming to Sydney in 2006 and she's always been great and doesn't believe in doing a bigger job than is necessary. I thoroughly recommended her to anyone.
