Negative experience: went in for a routine clean to claim my free clean, the clean lasted only 15 min and was refered to a specialist and quoted over $1200 for a deep clean, i felt like something was off so i went to get a second opinion from my regular dentist and was told i didnt need that. this place upsells and treats you like a number in and out the door

Fantastic experience: Dr O'kane is very professional ,caring and friendly. I have to say he is the best dentist I have ever been too. Dr O'Kane explained the procedure and after care extremely well. Negative experience: I keep receiving appointment reminder through text and email about the appointment I never booked myself. I have to call the reception to cancel it every time, then I was told there's no appointment in their system. You guys really need to stop sending these reminders of fake appointment with fake date and fake time. It is super annoying. Dr Zi Lin Sun is the reason I visit here, but now she's gone. Sad.

Negative experience: I arrived for my 3pm booking on Wednesday and was greeted by your reception staff, Claudia. Claudia looked me up in the system and found that my booking had been cancelled - much to my surprise. She explained that there was no confirmation. Confused, I explained I never received anything to confirm my appointment and asked what the confirmation process is. She said we text you a week out, two days out and then call if you do not respond (obviously I didn’t receive any of these). An apology was yet to be given at this point. She asked to confirm my mobile number and proceeded to read out someone else’s mobile number (breach of privacy). She then realised it must be the wrong patient profile, found mine and confirmed my number which was correct. She took no ownership (personal or business) in the mishap and displayed no sympathy, only giving a disingenuous sorry. This was a big inconvenience as I had to organise someone to look after my 7 month old. Connecting the dots, they have obviously booked me under another patient. If Claudia is a representation of the business’s morals, don’t bother and take your dental health elsewhere.

Negative experience: Dr. Mahmoud Abdulrahman... Very friendly guy, but started to recommend things that didn't need to be done. In 15 years of going to a dentist, never heard of anyone requesting to remove a brace wire for no specific reason. I wanted a filling done but he consistently mentioned there is a risk of a root canal if the nerve is showing. Any logical person would know that if a dentist is drilling into a tooth to prepare it for a filling, they can at their own will, drill near the nerve in order to turn a filling job ($300) into a root canal job ($4000). I did not trust him based on his profit driven approach regarding the brace wire. Profit should not be prioritized over a patient's health. I won't blindly obey a so called "professional" without asking questions and evaluating their character or virtue. He didn't earn my trust or respect.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had my lower wisdom tooth extracted. I was already in pain for the last week and was on antibiotics before the procedure. Dr Mah briefed me well of all the complications expected, and the procedure went as expected with almost no pain or stress during the surgery. DR Mah is a very skilled surgeon, and the staff are so friendly. The second day during the weekend, got a call from the clinic asking about me and if I had any complications and confirmed they were open for the weekend. Overall an excellent experience

Negative experience: Has to be one of the worst clinics around, called for a couple hours Saturday about my appointment then called for another hour tonight (Monday) & all within business hours & noone ever picks up the phone. How do you have a clinic that dosent have a receptionist manning the phone at all times. Just poor service...can't even org an appointment

Negative experience: Upon calling to book I asked for a price for a cap on a tooth I was told $185-300 when getting there and sitting in the chair I asked to confirm the rough price and was told $471 I then said that’s more then the rough phone price and was charged $71 just for 1 minute.. terrible business model I won’t be returning…. Greedy and over priced

Negative experience: Had my 6 monthly teeth check up and clean recently. Only to have the dentist hit my jaw with the cleaning tool exposing jaw bone and causing an infection. I was in excruciating pain so went back and they denied it was their fault. Took weeks and $$$ to recover. Very disappointed!

Negative experience: They caused physical reoccurring pain, for which I just wanted to get checked. I called and they booked me in, not mentioning that Ill have to pay. I would have been happy if a dentist looked at me in the waiting room and told me its not infected, yet when I arrived they still wanted to charge me an out of pocket fee. I'll go to the gp instead, just wasted my time.

Fantastic experience: Not a fan of the dentist but the professionalism and friendliness of all staff including staying on the phone with me to guide me when I was lost was truly lovely. Special shout out to Dr Mah - was patient, kind, helped manage my anxiety by talking through every detail and kept checking in throughout the procedure on my well being. Fantastic experience: Dr Mah and his dental assistant, are brilliant & amazing. Dr Mah removed my abscessed tooth, while his dental assistant, let me know exactly what was about to happen, each step of the way. I have had my fair share of crummy dentists, resulting in shattered teeth, because of poorly executed "root canals" etc so, when I praise a dentist, you can count on it. I thoroughly recommend Dr Mah and the dental services provided by Pacific Smiles Dental, Robina. Addendum: It is now 4 months since my attendance at Pacific Smiles Robina, and my gum has healed up quite well. I continue my endorsement of Pacific Smiles Robina.

Fantastic experience: I went in there petrified of the thought of getting my wisdom tooth out after so many past bad experiences with other Dentist, I knew it was beyond saving and it had to come out, Dr Mah and his lovely assistant assured me I be ok, not that I believed them at that point whilst I was sitting in the chair freaking out. Dr Mah had it out within 20 mins I couldn’t believe it as it’s root had a hook and been told in past it was probably going have to have surgery to get it out. I’m now the next day and I’m so happy it’s gone and over, thank you Dr Bah and his lovely assistant

Fantastic experience: I would love to give a 5 stars to the incredibly welcoming team at Pacific Smiles Dental in Robina - I had never been here before, and actually only had to go as I was ending my health insurance as I was moving overseas. Despite sharing this, Dr Ben Watt and his assistant (my sincere apologies for not knowing your name!) were so kind, informative and wished me the best on my travels. The receptionists were also super lovely! 5 stars and I will be recommending them to my family here on the Coast.

Fantastic experience: I booked in here for a one-off filling one day when I was in the area but now can't even imagine going anywhere else for dental work, and I don't even live remotely closeby. The staff are so warm and friendly, dentists are super skilled and experienced, there's tonnes of transparency with treatment plans and pricing - everything about this place is awesome! If you've had bad experiences with dentists in the past and are scared of judgement or lectures, this place will totally change how you feel about the dentist! Can't recommend Pacific Smiles Robina enough!

Fantastic experience: Dr Mah was very efficient, friendly, and carefully explained what I needed and what he was doing and providing. He is very passionate about the work he does. Fantastic experience: This is the absolute best dentist I have ever been to. Everything was amazing, even when booking in the appointment when I had never used private health, the lady on the phone was incredibly helpful! When we arrived the ladies at the front were extremely professional and friendly. I'm extremely embaressed by my teeth due to a genetic condition but Ben was so kind and understanding. I didn't feel judged for the state of my teeth at all, like I have been with orthodontists and public dentists. I also have never had anyone explain in as much detail and make sure that I understood what was going on. He had the best bedside manner of any dentist I have seen! Keep it up guys, I'll be recommending this practice to everyone I know.
