Fantastic experience: I called today seeking an emergency appointment when my regular dentist couldn’t see me. The entire team were so helpful and understanding, and found me a same day appointment. Dr.Jemma was wonderful, going above and beyond to move forward an appointment with another specialist to Monday when the earliest appointment I could arrange myself was the end of November. Thank you so much, I couldn’t recommend the Charlestown Team enough.

Fantastic experience: Cracked my tooth between Easter and Anzac Day long weekends. They opened on Saturday 26/4/25, so I was able to get in, had my broken wisdom tooth removed in a jiffy and paid a reasonable fee. Very happy and appreciative of Dr Milner for taking care of me, thank you.

Negative experience: Went in for a damaged tooth and a check up. They did the filling on the wrong tooth, proceed to then put a “protective coat” on the right tooth and charge me $180 for the filling I didn’t need. On top of that my gums around my wisdom teeth are super inflamed from them digging into them during the cleaning.

Negative experience: I would have sent them an email, but they have no advertised email address... So Google it is. I can't recommend them for sports mouthguards. The one it picked up yesterday has sharpe edges all over. It has cut my gums and near impossible to remove. It's not my first guard, I understand the need for a snug fit, but you need a mini crowbar to get it out and the guard had blood in it from my cut gums. It won't be used again. What a waste of money.

Fantastic experience: Jill Segawa and her assistant ( apologies you said your name with your back to me!) were superb, really warm, friendly and genuinely nice people. Health Professionals who cared - a rare thing- hang on the them! Also the reception team were excellent - and a similar warm friendly story - none of the guarded protection with "clinical, bristling uber efficiency that somehow grinds you in to submission (to be fair this is more usually encountered in Dr's or specialists practices)! Will go again and Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Had a horrible experience with one of the dentists, dentist decided to file and grind 3 of my teeth to “fix” a problem, didn’t wait for numbing cream to work before sticking me with a needle, also tried to use said needle on me without mentioning that was going to happen and when I was crying in pain they said “it was normal to feel pain”, have since gotten a second opinion from another dentist who has stated that there was no need for the grinding and filing of my teeth.

Negative experience: Not overly impressed payed $110 for 5 min in the chair to be told they refuse to remove my tooth as they cannot see anything wrong with it, so now I'm stuck with a tooth that's been giving me grief since Feb thobbing pain smell and taste of rotten ness i was told to deal with it until something actually shows up on an xray. And tried to up sell me a clean and checkover even though it was done only a couple months ago I had to repeat my self 3 times that I didn't want that she didn't want to take no for an answer.

Fantastic experience: After going to another dentist at a different practice for tooth pain who promptly sent me on my way saying he couldn't find anything I went to see Dr Jill Segawa, she took the time to actually diagnose and figure out which tooth was causing me pain and I was out of pain by the time I left. I've since been to see her again and she is always kind, has a great bedside manner and thankfully doesn't talk your ear off while your mouth is agape and you can't respond.

Fantastic experience: I had the same dentist in Sydney since I was 5 years old. He retired two years ago and I have been anxious about finding a new dentist. I was so happy with the service I received from Pacific Smiles Charlestown. Dr Raj was lovely. Very gentle and explained everything, kept checking if I was ok during the cleaning. Fantastic experience: I had my first experience with this clinic just this morning ( 17/10/2018 ) I was booked in for a wisdom tooth extraction .. I cannot recommend this clinic enough! I was very nervous as it was my first extraction and I can’t say enough how well cared for I felt ! I was in and out in 30 minutes and sent home with appropriate care for the next few days to help with pain! I can’t recommend enough!! I’m now around 6hours after the procedure and I’m feeling fine! 5/5 for me :)

Negative experience: WORST aftercare I've ever had in my life! Had a tooth pulled at 9, sent home with the advice "take Panadol" I did this but by lunch time I was in agony, I called to ask for advice "yes having teeth pulled hurts, deal with it" is the best they will do. Absolute JOKE! AVOID!
