Fantastic experience: Dr. Abraham Al-Qaysi is the Lionel Messi of wisdom teeth! 10 ! I had my first ever wisdom teeth removal in my 30s and was so scared but he’s a 10/10! So gentle, kind and professional. I didn’t feel anything during or after! To anyone who’s afraid of the dentist like I was go see him! You’ll be in excellent hands. Fantastic experience: It's taken me a long time to find a dentist here in Perth after many bad experiences resulting in it being over 5 years since a check up. Dr. Rachael Wu was lovely and I wouldn't hesitate in booking with her again for future check ups. She is kind, gentle and very thorough. I did have a bit of sensitivity on some of my teeth during the appointment but this was due to it being so long between visits and her having to work a little hard to remove stains. She checked on me the whole time and stopped when she could see I needed a break. I couldn't believe the difference when she showed me the photos afterwards. Overall a pleasant experience made even better without the exuberant prices like some others I've visited in the past. She is wonderful with children also!

Negative experience: Terrible experience

Negative experience: I visited this surgery in an attempt to save some funds (I usually see another dentist). The dental surgeon Dr. Beenash Saiyed did not attempt to meet with me or examine me in any way. However, they relayed through the dental hygienist (incidentally they where excellent and very attentive) that I would need root canal surgery after viewing my xray. I regularly visit with the another dentist and have visited with that same dentist for over 40 years. Never have they ever mentioned this sort of surgery to me in the past. Be very wary of this practice they will try to lure you in with “free” dental checks only to diagnose unnecessary treatments. I will stick to my other dentist from now on regardless of the cost! 2 stars because the hygienist was excellent, otherwise it would have been 1 star.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Karrinyup HBF Dental highly enough! Every single staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. From the reception team to the dental assistants, everyone made me feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. The clinic itself is clean, modern, and well-organised—everything you’d hope for in a healthcare setting. But the real star is Dr Diem—she is honestly the best dentist I’ve ever had. She is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and thorough, and she took the time to explain everything clearly during the appointment. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and their long-term oral health. I’ve had my teeth cleaned regularly for years, but Dr Diem’s check and clean was on another level. I have never had such a meticulous and satisfying dental clean—it felt amazing afterwards! She also gave me some great advice that no one has ever mentioned to me before, even though I’ve seen many dentists over the years. I left the clinic feeling confident, informed, and very well looked after. Thank you, Dr Diem and the entire team at HBF Dental—you’ve truly raised the bar!

Negative experience: HBF Dental seems hell bent on on-selling services which are unnecessary.I was quoted $4000 dollars for a crown and not even told which tooth needed it. I have had no toothaches or missing fillings. I certainly will not be returning and will go further to my previous dental provider.

Fantastic experience: I decided to see dr Michael based on his reviews and was not disapointed he was great and refered me to his colege dr Abraham who gave me several option which he explained very well I went to the practice in the first place as my existing dentist quoted me an exobortment amount which i didnt think was right Bu changing to hbf dental i have saved well over 1500 dollars now to get it done but i am confident it will be all good All staff are freindly i highly reccomend

Negative experience: Reception staff don't have a courtesy to return the voice messages. Auto appointments for yearly scale and clean was booked with a random doctorwithout my consent. Doctors are freshers, try to do everything as per textbook and not per patient needs.

Fantastic experience: I do recommend Doctor Steven. He is really professional and has patient. Especially he can speak mandarin is easy for me to describe my feeling. Will come again.

Negative experience: Money making business. Forced to pay for profile photo for their records at $30. Rip off. Hygienist was ok. Couldn't Floss my teeth properll.Was pressurised into transferring my dental records even though I told them numerous times I have my own dentist and only seeing hygienist. Very disappointed won't be going back!

Fantastic experience: Both of my kids were extremely scared, nervous and having bad phobia going to dentist. We often have to visit many clinics to get simple check or filling done. I had a chance today to try this clinic as it was recommended by a friend and was very impressed how they deal with the kids, the female doctor J was very patient, informative and gentle. The receptionist at the front counter also very accommodating with my kids, trying her best with different techniques to distract my kids and calm them down. At the end both of my children had completed the treatment in a short timeframe. Thank you HBF Karrinyup team. One of the best friendly and cleanliness clinic we have even been!

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Michael Derkacz, and he was wonderful. I needed quite a bit of work done over a few appointments and he addressed all my issues with empathy and understanding. Besides doing an outstanding job and solving a long term issue I have had with my teeth, his work is excellent. I would 100% recommend seeing Dr Michael. Also the girls on the front desk are also very helpful and I have gone to both Karrinyup and Morley practices.

Fantastic experience: I was treated by Dr Michael Derkacz for an annual check and clean. He is competent, friendly and professional, and he was also able to rectify an issue on-the-spot that other dentists had told me was only achievable by spending thousands on ceramic veneers. I'll definitely be back, and recommending Dr Michael and HBF Dental Karrinyup to others.

Fantastic experience: Dr Rachael Wu was wonderful. She was very thorough, explained everything to me, and has a nice calm and patient demeanor. My daughter also had an appointment with her, and it was her first visit to the dentist. Rachael made her feel comfortable and was very kind to her, which subsequently made my daughters check and clean very easy.

Positive experience: 50 minutes wait time is excessive. My understanding is that the staff knew that delay will occur yet they failed to inform me. Also, would be nice to send the links to the electronic forms to the new patients in advance.

Fantastic experience: Dr Abraham is very professional and friendly and treats you like a friend, he gives great feedback about your dental health and allows you to decide what you want to do next. Dr Abraham is a wonderful dentist that cares about patient satisfaction and is very conscious of not hurting you during your procedure. He is welcomingly gentle, and I am not fearful of visiting him. The practice has great staff too which are welcoming and friendly. Love it!!

Negative experience: Would definitely not suggest this clinic and especially not Dr. Brian Shih. I travelled more than an hour to reach this place but halfway there I got stuck in traffic and was sure that I would be almost 10 minutes late. So diligently I called up the clinic to let them know about it thinking that if they cannot help I might as well turn and go back home. But the receptionist told its alright to come and that he will leave a note. But when I reached there and the forms were all done and x rays were taken then Dr. Brian didnot want to do the procedure anymore citing time. I specifically explained my situation and told him how far I have come and he still didn't want to help at all. He was only interested in booking another appointment and providing quotes. Worst customer experience ever. Very hard to believe that HBF has stooped so low to make money from customer's. What about their not for profit and customer values. Never been so disappointed with a dental clinic.

Negative experience: Horible service . They rather send u home to die then help u change the feeling that's so toxic to u its killing u and burning you all around that tooth. How i know is cse had same feeling done by same dentist on a diferent tooth and same think soon as I took it out all burning and bitter taste went away. Lucky I found another dentist to convince to take my tooth out to save my life .you have to lie to them to save your life. Honesty won't take u anywhere. U have to lie it hurts to take it out .They will rather take it out then change the feeling. Only hour after I took it out my burning stopped and started to feel better. I don't think I was gna make it to the next day. They were trying to convince me it was something else i might not be a dentist but im not a stuped monkey i know what i feel. .i had all the simptoms of toxcicity . Tried telling them but no one belives u . All they care about is to protect them self who cares if u dying. Don't go there.

Fantastic experience: I’ve known Dr. Abraham for ages and every single time I visit the clinic - it feels like he’s my friend. The way he talks, listens to your concerns and cares about the best and the most suitable treatment for you is something that I’d recommend everyone to feel. My teeth are happy and so am I :)

Positive experience: Was rather nervous about visiting dentist. It's been about 20yrs between visits. I was looked after and equally relaxed. No fillings , teeth good condition. Length between visit not recommended. But care and time made a relaxing visit.

Fantastic experience: Dr Liu was very thorough and she even referred me to a facial pain specialist in regards to my migraines from which teeth clamping would likely play a role in this. Very friendly lady with plenty of caring advice, happy to change to this dentist moving forward

Negative experience: Got a quote on a standard scale and clean. It was about $25 more than what I am currently paying at my suburban dental. Good luck, you'll need it! Lesson? Rent too expensive but you can't pass it on, we will all know.
