Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Annie for her wonderful job on my new dentures and smile. I have a gagging problem and both Annie & Kim were so patient and made me feel comfortable and not embarrassed about it! Annie treated me like a baby ( I loved this) her calming voice actually helped me get through the denture impressions. She listened to what I wanted in a denture and between Annie, Kim and the wonderful Stacey we got there. I used to be petrified of going to the dentist after having so many bad experiences as a child. But I actually felt relaxed and looked forward to seeing Annie, Stacey & Kim throughout my treatment process. If you have any dental needs! Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim Dang is the best dentist I have had, she is kind and efficient, causing as little discomfort as possible. I had an Impacted wisdom tooth removed in the chair that I had previously been told would require general anaesthesia and a complicated surgery, I have had worse normal extractions with other dentists!! The whole team at 448 dental is lovely, I feel very confident that I will be cared for, and I dont get worried when I have to go to the dentist now; I look forward to seeing them! absolutely recommend!

Fantastic experience: The service is fantastic, reliable and friendly. We drive 2 hrs from Melbourne for my daughter check up, because she may need a brace for her teeth. We checked a few dentist in Melbourne for the opinion but they gave all of the different opinions about my daughter’s teeth, so we came to Dr Kim for the final opinion. We feel very lucky to find Dr Kim for my daughter’s final decision about the teeth.

Negative experience: PATHETIC service. My partner had a white filling done there less than 2 years ago that fell off fully, after three days speaking to them, they said to come in to get it checked, to then tell us if you come in you’ll have to pay for a whole new one. Fillings at every other dentist are minimum 4 year guarantee and life span of 5+ years expectancy. Apparently they only replace it in the first six months. Meaning, you’re expected to return every six months when their dodgy work doesn’t last, and you have to re pay each time. Handy. Wouldn’t bother with these guys again, don’t waste your money when you’ll be back to have your dental work re done. Rip off, non professional work. RE TO YOUR REPLY - So he paid nearly $600 for a filling that didn’t even last two years. Hmmmm.

1) Your partner called last friday and asked to speak to the dentist. Because no dentist was there, the receptionist asked him to call back today.
2) He had 2 white fillings done, NOT crowns. Fillings are guaranteed for 6 months. We told him that when he called this afternoon.
You owe us an apology for not checking facts eventhough we told your partner on the phone that he had fillings and we were going to email him all of his information after work.
You have edited your review, Taome! We have advised you that your partner had 2 fillings done, at the price of 300 each. 1 of them broke, not 2. And still you put down he had 1 filling for 600. We have emailed your partner his bill, you can always go back and check it! Please be truthful with what you say, especially in writing!
You put down he had 2 crowns, clearly you didnot even know what he had done because you were not there 2 years ago, then edited your whole review after talking to us.
You have told us other dentist said that it was our fault. We have advised you if you can get that dentist to put it down in writing, we would return all the money back to you, including the filling that didnot break.

Negative experience: I went in today for an emergency extraction. I was called 3 times to reschedule my appointment (for the same day) and the dentist called at my original appointment time and didn’t realise my appointment was moved. Admin staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The dentist on the other hand was quite rude to her assistant, the assistant was asking questions and the dentist said don’t talk to me, just do what you have to do. She also made some other rude comments to her assistant and this overall has made me uncomfortable and not wanting to return and I’d also advise the staff to look for employment elsewhere, it’s not ok the way they were treated and the dentist should be reported. The dentist also while about to pull my wisdom tooth was telling me how bad her experience was.. it hurt so much I was literally shaking for over an hour. I have had wisdom and other teeth removed before and have never had an experience like this
Dear Payge, we are sorry you didnot enjoy the experience. We tried our best to help you since you were in that much pain.
1) We called you 3 times. The first one because we didnot want you to wait while we were running late. The second and third time because we ran on time again and were informing you if you could come earlier. These phone calls is to make sure you not have to wait for us while you were in pain.
2) The dentist talked to you while she was showing you your OPG, that she had sympathy for you because she had the same trouble with her wisdom teeth. She didnot talk about that while doing the extraction. And because we have sympathy for your wisdom teeth pain, again we called you 3 times as for the reasons mentioned above.
3) The receptionist and assistant reported you had never told them to look for another job. We all wished you well and you were smiling when you left. We are all very upset at you making up these non-facts that is affecting us all, including the assistant who works very hard!
4) The assistant is a trainee who also came from a non-english background. It is a very difficult task for her and we needed her to concentrate and not making mistakes. We pushed our best to help her depiste her great disadvantages! She is a very good employee who understand her own weakness! When she make multiple mistakes a day, they need to be corrected and she needs to concentrate while typing!
5) You were smiling when you left and didnot tell us that you were in pain at all while we took the wisdom tooth out. The extraction was very quick, easy. We gave you 2 extra doses.
Please consider when you make false accusations of all of our efforts!
You called on the day and we tried our best to accommodate you! But everything we tried upset you!
We wish you all the best wherever you go to in the future! Please have more understanding for the future dentist and surgery!

Negative experience: Wow. Firstly she treats her assistant like dirt! In front of patients, which is very unprofessional. 2 fillings in 20 minutes! One of which was rebuilding a broken tooth. Sharp edges left and fillings stop at gum line. Very dodgy work if your a health care card holder! Will never be back!

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old had two teeth knocked out and one broken in a playground accident. I rang Kim, and she opened her surgery up at 8pm to see us straight away. She was excellent with him, very calm and reassuring. The broken tooth needed to be pulled, and it was done with no fuss or pain. Can't recommend Kim highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Doctor Kim Dang is very reliable and knowledgeable. She will tell you exactly what needs to be done to improve your dental health, that will subsequently affect your general health. She is straight forward and honest. I am personally very impressed with her work and advices over the years on my family's dental health. With the kids she's especially gentle and works hard to come up with different techniques that help them feel safe and comfortable at the clinic. From her Facebook business page, I can see she's been undertaking specialised courses with international experts to expand her skills that will ultimately benefit her patients. Her passion for dentistry is unbreakable. She is driven and compassionate, and her social responsibility truly shines as we learn about her donations. She gives back to the community in Australia as well as helping reduce poverty in Asia. I highly recommend Doctor Kim Dang to anyone who's after honest, caring, affordable, and excellent dental services.
