Negative experience: Not recommended. Waste of money ,effort and time.NOT CHILD FRIENDLY ,late by 15 minutes and whole consultation only lasted for less than a minute . Our son was seen by a dentist and We are not happy with the service provided at the Aspley clinic today for the amount of money we pay .The dentist was not child friendly and did not bother checking our son thoroughly . We visited the same place last year and had a better consultation with another doctor . They referred us to a paediatric dentist over on south side which we feel like referring to their ‘friend’.

Fantastic experience: Twice I’ve been here in the last week (after years of not needing anything) Service and experience has been amazing. I turned up with broken teeth this morning and was terrified at what fixing them might involve and the cost. An hr later and my teeth looked better than before. You can’t even tell anything was wrong. After years of our family dentist telling me the only way to fix this crack was to knock my teeth out and put false ones in, the dentist at pacific smiles “buffed” it out! I haven’t stopped looking at my teeth all day and putting my tongue on them lol. After thinking my smile was ruined it’s better than I was before. Thank you so much!

Negative experience: Horrendous experience with Pacific Smiles, Aspley and I didn’t even get an appointment. Due to my private health, I was told I had to attend this dental practice. This disappointed me as I am very happy with my other dentist. I booked online as I’m a busy mum for 330pm today. I got a confirmation email, stating my appointment was at 330pm. I then get a text a few days later, asking me to confirm my appointment at 3:20pm?! I text back and said my appointment was at 330pm. I read the reviews for the dentist and instantly became frustrated as the same thing other people were complaining about, was happening to me. I then decided to call. My first two calls went unanswered, my third attempt was answered by someone called Elsa who was less than helpful. She said my appointment was at 320pm. I told her it was 330pm and I had the confirmation. She said, ‘just come in at 320pm, the dentist is really quick!’ I told her I don’t want quick, I want thorough. After going back and forth and being offered various late appointments, I declined and requested to keep my original appointment. Elsa kept getting her days mixed up and then said that she’d have to ring the other appointments and move them all around so that they could see me at 330pm. She claims to have done this and that my scheduled appointment would go ahead. I then get a text today, saying my appointment was cancelled and I need to call and reschedule!! Absolutely disgusting running of a business. I didn’t call back to rebook as they’re so incompetent, I would not trust these people with my oral health. I’ll also be calling my health fund to notify them of this incompetence.

Negative experience: If I could do a zero I would. DO NOT go to their Aspley or Chermside locations. Horrible customer service and communication. I booked weeks out for an appointment today. To get a call saying the dentist has left the company and reschedule (which is fine). I go there to check in and are told sorry we have no notes about the change. Sorry. Whilst the 2 people ahead of me in line where checking in and were told the dentist is off sick today you have you reschedule. They have no idea what they are doing. Go else where.

Negative experience: Extremely lovely staff, very welcoming but unfortunately, being a dental hygienist myself I was very disappointed. I was checked in at 11.30AM and out by 11.40AM. Adult check up and clean? You’re allocated 20-30 minutes for a reason. Please take better care of your customers dental health in future.

Fantastic experience: Hi. I just wanted to thank a highly skilled Dr Mahsa for extracting my wisdom tooth last year around March. I told myself I will leave a genuine review once it's fully healed. Anyway, she handled it really well without breaking the curve root and told that the nerve around it will recover for awhile which it did. She gave me two options either to pull it out or go to a surgeon but I was brave enough to say yes. But before that I went to other dentist they quickly decline me and told me to go to surgeon to get all wisdom extracted. Some dentists will decline or make excuses coz they are not confident enough to pull it out either it is curve root, close to sinus wall or nerve is wrapped around it. They won't take the risk. So, I was thankful that I was never ignored and got my 48 extracted. Thank you.

Negative experience: Went in to get some small " fillers' near gumline on 2 teeth done as advised by dentist 3 weeks ago. Left being charged $1270 for what I thought was just 2 small fillings. No needles on the work today on now 3 teeth, all so called fillings at top of side of teeth . Charged for 7 fillings !!! No mention of this number when there 3 weeks ago.

Negative experience: I had two appointments booked for my children—one at 11:50am and the other at 12:10pm. We arrived on time, but unfortunately, the experience was far from smooth. By 12:10pm, when the second appointment should have started, we still hadn’t received any communication from the team regarding delays or the reason for the hold-up. A few minutes later, I was told there would be a wait of ten minutes. When that time passed, I was informed it would be an additional five to ten minutes because they were handling an emergency appointment. What makes this particularly frustrating is that the day before, I received a call asking if we could come in earlier at 9am instead of the scheduled times. I explained that we couldn’t, and the receptionist confirmed that our original time slots at 11:50am and 12:10pm were still appropriate and available. The lack of communication and the extended wait were disappointing, especially since our original time slots had been reconfirmed. Clearer updates and better time management would have made a significant difference to our experience.

Negative experience: I have gone to this dentist for many years, even after I moved away from the area, I continued to go here because I liked the staff and the job they did. However, I’ve been told that they only offer private health coverage if you’re with nib now. It doesn’t seem right that they can enter these preferred provider contracts and basically tell you to change your health fund, pay out of pocket, or find somewhere else. I am in a position where I have a health fund that works for me and it isn’t nib. It’s a shame, but I’ll find somewhere else. It’s probably not the staff’s choice and they have always been wonderful so nothing against them.

Negative experience: My family have been going here since we moved to Aspley roughly 4 years ago. I was concerned because I had one of my teeth drilled into because she thought she could see a shadow only to be told, sorry nothing there, we wont charge you for that! My son had a filling fall out completely not long after it was done. I was told one of my fillings which was breaking off would need to be replaced with a root canal. So I looked for another Dentist because I couldnt see why it couldnt just be filled again. The new dentist filled it but she did say, it may not work because its close to the root, but if it doesnt, being the very back tooth, its not worth doing a root canal, we should just take it out. The big concern was when she told me I had 8 other fillings that I needed! My teeth are very close together so they are all between my teeth, but I had Xrays taken at pacific smiles and they werent picked up. It has been 10 months since I Last went to the dentist. I have used picksters and floss everyday since. How were these missed and what would my teeth look like in another 1-2 years if I hadnt changed dentist! I cant see between my teeth, this is why I have my annual check ups. I had a scale and clean at Pacific smiles in May 2023 in addition to my last visit in December 2023. Find yourself another dental practice before its too late.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dental visit I've ever had. Thanks Dr. Jordan Tselepy! I've seen many dentists at Pacific Smiles over the years, and all have been good. But Dr. Jordan was on another level. She made me feel welcome, spent a lot of time answering my questions, and made the whole experience generally pleasurable (which is definitely not something I usually say after visiting a dentist!).

Negative experience: Do not recommend! I was left disappointed in how this clinic manages appointments. My appointment was rescheduled THREE times and the reason twice the receptionist told me was that the dentist just wanted to get home early. I thought they were joking but they werent! I had to organise childcare arrangements three times until I gave up. I'm so happy I've moved on to a much better practice who value their patients. Also, this place is impossible to reach and even after leaving phone messages noone ever returns your call. They need to get it together!

Negative experience: Originally I talked to the receptionist in person to explain my disabled brother's needs. She said, I will find you a dentist who will be helpful for him. I thought all good! We visited the lady dentist and my nervous brother liked her. I went to book the second appointment by phone a few weeks later and that's when the trouble started. My first phone call, no-one answered. The next day I tried to book online but the page is not user-friendly and I could not see my brother's dentist's name in the list. I tried phoning. This time I had to leave a message as no-one answered again. I got a call back and when I said the name of the dentist I wanted to book, the receptionist said, That's a locum and only works on weekends if we need her. So, I have decided to move to another dentist and see if I can get more helpful service.

Fantastic experience: My family booked convenient time for us and there were no queues or any other visitors. This helps me feel more comfortable because I bring two kids along (youngest is just 2 years and can start crying any time). Dr.Oksana Verlan is very professional and is good at helping to forget that I'm afraid of dentists haha. She cleaned my teeth and pointed out few areas where I need to brush my teeth better. She also did check and soft polish to my 10 years old daughter. This time we haven't identified any decay, hurray! After that my 2 years old son had no issues showing his teeth. Overall, the team (including nurses and receptionist) is very friendly and helpful. Feels like I visited my friends house.

Negative experience: Was booked in for a wisdom tooth removal end of February and was called the day before my appointment and was told by reception that it had to be cancelled as the dentist was unwell. No issues at all, however wasn’t even offered a different day by the receptionist so had to call back to book another appointment. The dentist was unable to do any of the days I requested so the receptionist offered me another day with a different dentist. Again, no issues, but I specifically if that dentist would be able to do the procedure and the receptionist assured me he would. I turn up to my appointment and the dentist informs me is unable to do a wisdom tooth removal. Extremely frustrating. Was called a couple of days later by the manager of the practice who apologised and told me she would speak to my regular dentist and try and find me an appointment and call me back. The owner never called back. Have since gone to another dentist who was much more helpful and reception staff who much better qualified. Will never go back.

Negative experience: Very disappointing clinic filling fell out after 6 months .Rang and left message no return call .rang another 10 times finally went in to the shop and rang again and saw the reception girl look at the phone and not answer. Negative experience: Called 4 days ahead to ask if I could move my appt to 2 or 3 days earlier without a reason why. I could not as I was interstate. Called again 2 days ahead to move it (still no reason provided). The called the day before to be asked to move it again as dentist had 2 diaries open - I was happy to change location, provided it was the same time... Location was changed and appointment was moved back by 90 minutes. Then got another phone call - "Do you still want the appointment?“ I admit I failed to read my appointment confirmation text (pretty over it by this point", drive in for my 8.30 am (when I booked) - oh it got moved to 9.50 am. Thankfully the slot was still open so I got in. On the way out issues with my healthfund because reception failed to change the clinic location of the dentist. All in all, not a good experience, and I will likely be looking elsewhere in the future as this was my second less than good experience with the clinic.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the clinic and their unprofessional behaviour. I booked an appointment with one of the dentists for 5:10pm (I have a confirmation email too) and at 4:36pm I received a call from the reception asking if I was coming. I mentioned to them that I have already confirmed that I am coming and I am about to start. Again, at 4.45pm while I was driving, I got another call saying that I am already 10 mins late for my appointment and that my appointment was for 4:30pm. They kept arguing that I booked the appt for 4:30pm and didnt admit that they changed the time without my knowledge. Apparently, the dentist has to go for her own appt elsewhere and seems to have changed my appt time without checking with me. I had to turn back and come home. I was very upset and disappointed the way they handle their appointments. Never going back there again.

Negative experience: Very rushed experience. Practically pushed me out the door when I was still asking questions. The dentist said she had time to fix a tooth and then didn't. Went out to reception to get a quote and rebook an appointment. The receptionist "didn't have time" for either and said she would call to rebook and send me the quote via email. Neither happened. I called back a few days later to be rudely spoken to on the phone and told they would never say they would do that. Again told me he would email me the quote and again no quote emailed to me. Would never book here again

Fantastic experience: All my kids go here for their 6 monthly check ups and they are always really good, even with child with ASD and sensory processing disorder. I went yesterday for the first time because I had a toothache, I have a lot of anxiety about the dentist and my dentist made me feel really comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I attended for the first time and Dr Jordan was such an amazing Dr. She made me feel such ease during the whole process and was extremely gentle. Dr Jordan was fun, funny, so kind and caring. Even with the pressure that they all are under trying to please everyone, they all manage it with a smile and grace. Negative experience: My Husband and I visited this clinic yesterday for our regular cleaning and polishing session. Our appointment was at 4.30 and we had to wait till 4.50pm. Also, this is not the first time that this clinic has made us wait. To add on to our frustration, the regular dentist that we used to visit did not attend to us. Instead we were booked in with Dr Martha. She is one of the most rude and rough dentist we have ever experienced. Her choice of words were just so rude and awful. There wasn't any form of empathy towards her patients. It was indeed a painful experience for just cleaning and polishing. We are never coming back to this clinic again and totally disappointed with their service and their healthcare professionals.

Negative experience: Arrived at dentist no receptionist at desk sat down and waited then when someone finally came out they said I was late for appointment and would have to rebook again when I was not late. The week before when I had an appointment booked they rang me on the day just before my appointment and told me the dentist was sick. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic if you won’t to be mucked around especially if you are working and time matters seriously bad service avoidance at all costs

Fantastic experience: Came in for an appointment with Dr Mahsa Orooji this afternoon and can't speak highly enough of the care provided, she was fantastic and put my mind at ease before and during the procedure. It has been years between dentists visits for me and my experience this afternoon has eased my fears and I will be back. Negative experience: Really terrible organisation skills to the point where I’m not going to bother going back. The first time I booked around 6 months ago, I made an appointment online for 8:30am. My confirmation email said 8:30am. When I got the call a couple of days before to reconfirm, the lady said 9am. I checked my email and said no its actually 8:30… she said 8:30 is no longer available…Then I rebooked my 6 monthly check up and put the date in my phone calendar. Two days before I hadn’t heard from them so called to reconfirm the appointment myself. Apparently they are no longer open Saturdays and my appointment had been cancelled. No apology, just I “should have been contacted”. Very glad I didn’t just turn up on the day.

Negative experience: Paid $418 2019 May to fix a tooth that filling broke yesterday. It was the worst experience of my life, dentist was rude and so was receptionist and got booked to refill the tooth in new place only the filling didn't even last until the appointment. Keep away, you are just a $$$ not a person for them.

Fantastic experience: I am always a little apprehensive when visiting the dentist, especially when it's one I have not visited before. From the moment I walked in the door my apprehension slowly dissipated. I was greeted with a warm and inviting welcome. When I met the dentist I was made to feel very comfortable and he took the time to make sure that I understood what was going to happen during each step of the procedure.
