From start to finish, they were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. The procedure went smoothly, and to my surprise, I experienced very minimal swelling and discomfort afterward. Sharon personally called me the following week to check in and make sure I was healing well, which meant a lot and showed how much they truly care about their patients. Fantastic experience: All staff I interacted with from reception, the dental nurse and Dr Chahoud, were patient centric, kind and instantly put me at ease. I felt as if the staff considered my individual needs and prioritised my care. The procedure itself was fast and comparatively stress free. Fantastic experience: Performed a wisdom tooth extraction and was very kind and considerate. My tooth was so painful I couldn't open my jaw and he and his team managed to squeeze me in for surgery within 48 hours. Great service. Got to keep the tooth after which is neat. Would recommend to anybody. Only thing is bupa barely covered any cost even though I've maxed out dental cover. That's more an issue I have with bupa though but good to know in advance.

Fantastic experience: I recently had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out by Chris. It was an extremely pleasant experience from start to finish. Every single person I interacted with during this experience from admin, hospital staff to Chris himself were beyond incredible and an absolute delight to interact with. I went to my initial consult with an entire list of questions that I didn’t even need to ask as Chris covered absolutely every concern and question I had before I even needed to ask them myself. He was very up front about what I needed done, the fees involved and any risks in a way that relived my stress instead of creating more. He also bought humour and a really kind and approachable personality to every interaction! My actual surgery and recovery have been surprisingly pleasant and problem free. I think this is due to Chris’ amazing work and clear instructions of pre/post op requirements. He was also so helpful with out of hours concerns I had. Overall amazing experience and could not recommend Chris and is practice enough!!

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Dr Chahoud and his team in Dec 2023 (consult) and Jan 2024 (surgery). The initial consult was comfortable and Dr Chahoud put my mind at ease. The reception staff were also lovely and it felt like a real family vibe in the clinic. I was very nervous never having had surgery before but it was a quick recovery and his work was excellent. I had little to no bleeding, swelling went down within a couple of days and the pain was minimal. I didn’t need anything stronger than Nurofen (only needed on approx. days 5-7). The sites have healed and its just taking some getting used to having a larger hole that hasn’t fully closed up yet. But its easy enough to clean and the smaller holes have almost fully closed. The wait times for the consult and surgery were also minimal. I would highly recommend Dr Chahoud.

Fantastic experience: I’m writing this review 2 weeks after my surgery, because if I don’t do it now, I will definitely forget that i had wisdom teeth extractions as they have healed too quickly! First of all, 5-star is NOT Enough! From initial appointment booking with Sharon, I knew this was going to be smooth and pleasant, she was able to hear my needs and clearly explain the time schedule suit me the best and parking instructions for my first consultation. Unlike meeting with any other dentists, meeting with Dr Chris Chahoud eased all my concerns of the wisdom teeth extraction, after care, and potential risks (in a professional but not causing anxiety way), the surgery process was efficient and relaxing, including a very nice chat with the nurse, I believe her name is Carrie, during the anesthesia stage, she was informative about the post surgery procedure and care, her nice voice just made all the words more sound. Oh, did I mention Dr Chahoud got a great sense of humour and could sing pretty well along with the radio while he getting those wisdom teeth out.

Fantastic experience: Would recommend Dr Chahoud to anyone, from the first consultation where everything was laid out and explained thoroughly, to the booking of the wisdom teeth removal, everything was easy to organise. No hidden costs, it was exactly as described. The surgery went well, I had no bleeding, did swell up a bit but that's expected and was eating normally again within 4 days. Pain was able to be managed by Panadol and Nurofen, didn't need to take the stronger medication but had it there in case. An overall good experience from getting 4 x wisdom teeth out, thanks Dr Chahoud and team!

Fantastic experience: Last week I had surgery to remove growing bone on my jaw. It was something I was putting off but I knew at some stage it had to be fixed. My dentist referred me to see Dr Chris Chahoud. I'm going to have to thank my dentist for that next time I see him. From start to finish it was all a wonderful experience. My operation went even better than I hoped for. No post op face swelling and almost zero pain. I couldn't believe it. How he did that I'll never know. No other surgeon could have done a better job in my opinion. The Anaesthetist did a great job too. The nurses at Chermside Day Hospital were wonderful to me and to top it off the ladies at reception in Dr Chris's medical suite were super helpful and friendly. Any and all of the information I needed they were right on it which made it easy on me. So a big thankyou to all of you.

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience with Dr Chahoud. I had a tooth extracted and an implant placed under general anesthetic. Meeting with Dr Chahoud to discuss the procedure was very reassuring, and his whole team (and in particular Sharon) are very kind, professional and quick to respond to questions. The cost of the procedure was explained carefully well in advance so there were no nasty surprises, and I have had no bleeding and very little swelling and pain following the surgery itself.

His caring and professional demeanour put me at ease, his team were able to assess and fit me in, in an extremely timely matter as I was on a timeline before I went overseas. Most importantly, I had the easiest recovery. I felt completely back to normal the next day. I had little swelling, no bleeding and very little pain after getting all four wisdom teeth out. The staff in the office gave me all the pre and post surgical information, the nurses at the hospital took attentive care of me and the office checked in with me a few days after. Fantastic experience: From booking my first appointment to now almost a week post 4 wisdom teeth removal surgery, Dr Chris and his team could not have been more efficient and helpful. Pretty much pain free as soon as I woke up from the anaesthesia and with next to no swelling I was back to work less than 48 hours later. Costs were explained well in advance and I was not charged a dollar over the quote. Every call and email I was told I would get I got exactly when promised. Also got a call from Sharon a few days post op to check all was well and give some further care instructions. Would highly recommend Dr Chris and his team any day of the week!

Fantastic experience: Pleasant and efficient experience of wisdom tooth removal for the anxious mind. My general dentist recommended wisdom teeth removal to avoid further decay. While I understood how important this procedure is for my overall health, I couldn't shake feeling nervous, worried, and anxious. I expressed those to Dr. Chris Chahoud and he calmed me down by answering all my seemingly endless questions. He didn't belittle me at all, which I really appreciated as I had a bad experience with another health practitioner. I finally agreed and feel comfortable with the explained procedure and his approach. His clinic was unpretentious and very functional. Fantastic experience: I got told by a couple of dentists that two of my wisdom teeth were growing backwards and removal surgery could be very messy. But recently they were often inflamed and I couldn’t wait further and had to get them out. Dr Chahoud removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth while I’m under general anaesthesia, I didn’t feel any pain. I was so worried about the post surgery recovery and infection, but since the stitches were so beautifully done, I didn’t have any issue with infection at all. I recovered in less than a week with little swelling and pain. So so so impressed, thank dr Chahoud!

Fantastic experience: I had my 4 wisdom teeth + a 5th additional smaller wisdom tooth removed that were impacted in Dec 2021 and had a great experience with Dr Chris. My healing went extremely well and as someone who is very dental anxious felt at ease with Dr Chris as my surgeon days leading to surgery, on the day and post op. Dr Chris answered my after hours text messages with any concerns within minutes and also phoned me once to discuss a concern I had on a Saturday morning. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of meeting Chris Chahoud Tuesday the 12th of October for a difficult wisdom tooth extraction, as I had been referred to him by my general dentist. In a world where far too often we can feel we are just being 'processed' by the 'system', Chris is a rare example of a true professional who is humble, friendly, empathetic and understanding. Some may say this is from his training and impressive 35 years experience but I think it's deep within his nature to be so caring. Before, during and after the surgery Chris patiently explained everything to me and during the procedure kept me informed 'step by step' as to what he was doing and what sensation I may experience. I was extremely surprised when Chris, after quite a short period of time and virtually zero trauma or discomfort experienced by me, informed me that it was all finished. The receptionist staff and Chris's dental assistant also seem to be 'cast from the same mold', as they were equally lovely, friendly, professional and helpful. I would recommend Chris and his fantastic staff to anyone, including my friends and family, and the only negative thing I have felt is that in order for me to experience the pleasure of seeing Chris and his staff again I'd have to have another tooth removed.... Fantastic experience: My son had all 4 of his wisdom teeth and we were expecting a very painful recovery. His recovery could not have been better. He only had to take 1 pain killer the night of surgery and the next day nothing. Excellent treatment and service from Dr Chahoud and his staff.

Fantastic experience: Dr Chris is very intelligent. He extracted my wisdom tooth and I also had stiches but I didn’t realise at all when the extraction was happening and it was a smooth process. After 2 weeks I went for follow up checkup and he didn’t charge a single dollar for that. I am so thankful to doctor.

Fantastic experience: Chris did the dental implants for me, he and his assistant did such an excellent job. The whole procedure just take 30 minus and is pain-free. I though at least the anesthesia injection will be painful, but Chris managed to do it in a comfortable way. The post procedure heal is also really fast, I can eat soft food on the night of the procedure day. And on the next day, I just started eating normal food with no problems at all. Highly recommended Chris! Good Job!

We lobbied all our friends for recommendations and heard endless stories of trauma. When a very anxious friend said her op with Dr Chahoud was OK we chose to consult him. Fantastic experience: Had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Chris and his team. I was very nervous but the team's friendly demeanour made me feel more at eased. I was very swollen for the first two days but the swelling was not painful. Aftercare was great as you can text the Dr during emergencies. Was also very grateful that the Dr and his assistant managed to accomodate me and perform the extraction the very next day in the early morning as I was moving away. Overall, a great experience, the staffs were genuine and earnest in answering any of my queries.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my wisdom tooth removal thanks to Chris and his team. I was extremely anxious given all the stories I’d heard but I had no need to fear as I had absolutely no pain at any stage of my extraction (top two wisdom teeth, one which was impacted) and during recovery. Dr Chahoud and his dental assistants gave me enough information to understand what would happen and how the recovery would likely go, whilst keeping me calm and as relaxed as possible pre-surgery. I had two wisdom teeth removed under local anaesthetic and a perfect, pain-free recovery.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom and premolar teeth extractions for adult braces all on the same day. Dr Chahoud has been professional and reassuring from the first consultation. He explained there was no need and actually had time to take the tooth out then and there with a local. It was done in less than 5 minutes and I didn’t actually realise he had removed the tooth until I saw the stitches being put in. I had next to no pain (took one lot of Panadol for two days), no swelling and no bruising. Only side effect was some tightness in my jaw (to be expected). The process was so easy and quick and I am very grateful to the wonderful team. Have already recommended to my friends wishing to deal with their own wisdom teeth!

I was in the unfortunate situation where I required a very last minute wisdom tooth extraction, the receptionists and Dr Chadhoud were very accommodating and went above and beyond to fit me in. I was extremely nervous to get my wisdom teeth out in the chair, however Dr Chadhoud and his assist were so reassuring and I honestly did not feel any pulling or tugging. Fantastic experience: Dr Chris Chahoud is known as one of the best max-fax surgeons in Brisbane for many reasons. In our case, he responded to our emergency call on his mobile on a Saturday morning when he was out watching his kids play soccer, he changed his weekend plans then and there, dropped his kids home and performed emergency surgery on my wife’s seriously abscessed wisdom teeth that afternoon , and then dealt swiftly and soundly in following up the abscess complications. We were very grateful Chris was there when we needed him the most. He must also be a great role model for his kids.

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr chris in a terrible pain, infection and swelling after getting my wisdom tooth extracted by someone who didn't cover the wound with dressing and his mistake led me to lose another healthy tooth. I was in pain for 14 days and my dentist couldn't fix it. On my first visit to Dr Chris , he found out what was wrong and just his cleaning made me better. He is very calm and excellent doctor. I have never seen such a great staff and the doctor. The lady at reception is also very nice. I will never go to anyone else except him.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely grateful and relieved that Dr Chris was able to "fit me in" at short notice upon referral from my dentist. The care and sensitivity shown towards me when having an upper molar extracted on the 17th April was extraordinary. I felt welcomed and at ease from the reception staff immediately I walked in to the practice. That experience continued when I met Dr. Chris and his dental nurse. I felt no pain at any stage. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending highly Dr Chahoud and his dental practice.

But after my consultation with Dr Chahoud, he kindly assured me that everything will be fine - and it all was, in fact, much better than i expected! Fantastic experience: Dr Chahoud is a wizard. For over 15 years and countless surgeries, from tumour removals, bone grafts, implants and tongue lesions, he has been there. He is skillful, sensitive, concerned and freely is available for after hour support by mobile. I have never had an infection and barely a scar to be seen including on front gums and teeth. He cares about the cosmetics as well as treating the problem. To back him up he has an exceptional team, one of whom has been there since my first visit (and she is amazing). If you have any oral surgery, I cannot recommend Dr Chahoud and his team to anyone that would listen. They are as good as it gets.

Fantastic experience: Dr Chris is an amazing surgeon! He has a very calm and assuring vibe about him. From my first appointment with him to even post surgery he and his office staff have been happy to answer my many questions. i highly recommend him for anyone who's needing to get their wisdom teeth out.

Negative experience: Unreliable. Cancels last minute for absolutely no reason. One is to assume he wanted the long weekend off and away (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday). If you're travelling interstate for surgery I would not recommend seeing this surgeon.
