Fantastic experience: Dimitrios did an amazing job, I have had a lot of dentists that do a lazy job and doesn't care about you and then tell u to come back in 3 years. But here they treated me so nicely! I actually felt seen and they did such a thorough job, I got the new patient special. Would highly recommend Never had my teeth feel this clean before to be honest.

Fantastic experience: This office just knows how to go above and beyond for their clients. Our first time in, there was a miscommunication and we showed up a whole month early for 4 cleanings. The staff were so kind and lighthearted about it and even found the space to fit us in a few hours later. Everyone was so patient and kind and explained everything to my 3 children. I even got to learn a few facts about some snakes in the sewers haha

Fantastic experience: I have loved my interactions with the team at MPDH so far. Let's be clear, I've only used this practice once so I'm not sure I'm the best advocate just yet! Here's what I saw.. Alana answered about 20 calls in the short time I was in the waiting room. Despite the unrelenting switchboard, not once did the calibre of her service change. I remember thinking this is exactly the kind of person you want representing your business. Dr Sigalas was also fab! He is easy to talk to, listened to my unique concerns and made my teeth shiny without discomfort. I mean, what else can you ask for? Fleetwood Mac, you say? Well, they even delivered on that in the background. I would happily recommend this team and look forward to returning. ** Update. I've now been a customer of MPDH for nearly a year. Time flies. I am updating this to 5 stars because I have enjoyed every single visit. Who knew you could look forward to going to the dentist. I'm entirely confident other people will benefit from choosing this practice.

There’s a lovely vibe even in the waiting room and Alyssar, the dental hygienist, is so passionate and caring about her work that you walk out with the best pearly white smile. Dimitri, the dentist, is also just as passionate about his work and any work that I have had needed has been done with such professionalism. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this dentist. I always have a really great experience with these guys. I am quite nervous going to the dentist (who isn’t) however, the staff's warm and welcoming nature definitely help put my dental fears at ease. They are friendly and extremely professional right from when you are greeted at reception. Shout out to both Alyssar (oral hygienist) and Dr Azita. They make an excellent team and have always made me feel very comfortable and at ease!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Gallagher's for a number of years and over that period he has performed on me some very complex dental procedures. He is extremely caring, patient and always checks to see how comfortable you are and he walks you through what the procedure entails. If required he takes the most appropriate and painless anaesthetic route and he gets it right the first time. I have never had to return for a follow up post op and his team are just fantastic. He doesn't suggest unnecessary expensive procedures or push products. He is quite a remarkable dentist so well worth a visit and his fees are more than reasonable.

Fantastic experience: The only person that I would see for serious dental work is Dr. Dimitri. Previously, I had an inlay on my left back tooth, that would break every two or so years... However when Dr. Dimitri did the next replacement.. He quickly identified that my left upper tooth was impacting and causing my inlay to break.. He made some adjustments.. And my inlay has not broken for 8 years and counting!!!!! A true expert and professional... Nowadays, I don't even think twice about gnawing on a succulent tomahawk bone..

Negative experience: Very Disappointed…. I’ve been seeing Dr David Gallagher since I was 8yrs old (I’m now 30) As a long time patient, I have now been taken advantage of by this practice just like 'used car salesmen' do to their customers. Dr David fixed a small chip in my front tooth over 20yrs ago, it came out a couple of months ago and I came back and requested David to fix it again which I was quoted $210. I then queried about teeth whitening and I was told due to the chip in my tooth I could only do the in-chair whitening of $500 vs the take home kit of $195. I was told I must do a ‘check-up/clean’ before the whitening which is valued at $295 which I did before the in-chair whitening. I was advised by another dentist to go to a chemist and buy the oral b teeth whitening strips ($32.99 each) and use for two weeks before the in-chair whitening of $500. After the in-chair whitening, the results were poor to say the least… going back and forth they agreed the results were not great and as a result they gave me a take home kit to use for two weeks (I was originally told this wasn’t an option because of the chip in my tooth) I did the take home kit for 2 weeks as recommended and thought I would see David to repair the chip that was originally quoted for approx. $210. I was forced to go with another dentist despite my request for David saying that he was the best. I had my tooth chip repaired today and the ‘best dentist’ said he wasn’t confident that it would last even half as long as when David did it. After completion, I was then told I would have to pay $450, well over double the price including a $68 oral examination. I had been there 3 times in the past 6 weeks, what more examination is required.. (Obviously to make up for the teeth whitening kit they gave me due to the poor results) I expected to pay approx. $210. Now I have paid a total of $1,150 though shifty sales techniques. I will not return to this dental practice again. Poor service that has lost my trust.

Fantastic experience: A very high quality dental practice also with a beautiful fish tank! The service is very thorough and you get good advice how to continue maintaining good teeth and gum health such as flossing, how clean between molars and other brushing techniques. Unlike other dental practices every time I come here I learn something new and it makes a real difference in the end.

Fantastic experience: I took my son to the practice on 22 April 2021. I myself work in medical administration and wanted to pass on how lovely the team was when we attended. The ladies on reception were so kind to my son, letting him feed the fish and talk their ears off while we waited for our appointment. The dentist and his assistant were so patient with my sons non stop talking and energetic nature. We don’t have private health and were very impressed with what we received for my son for $100. Dr Azita recently gave me two fillings and was so careful and kind, BARELY felt the injections due to her gentle hand, clearly takes pride in her work and goes above and beyond. I don't have health cover & the prices are very reasonable! Also recently had a clean with Hygienist Alyssar, again really thorough, gentle and kind, much appreciated! =)

Fantastic experience: I came here to get my implant from Dr David, it’s always my nightmare to see dentist but unfortunately I got bad teeth. Dr David is very gentle, skilled, informative and funny. So I had my first implant experience pain free! And today I came back for a clean and check up, dental hygienist Alyssar was super gentle, attention to detail, and explain everything very clear, I never received such service from other dental places I went, and this is the first time ever I actually enjoy teeth cleaning, it’s like having a spa for my teeth! I used to hate it so much cause lots of dentist is very rough and quick for cleaning, so I end up with bloods and cuts in my mouth, but this time with Alyssar I really feel like it’s actually comfortable! Fantastic experience: I had a bad front tooth removed and a false tooth attached to another front tooth which kept falling out. Dr Azita Tavakoli and her dental assistant Jennifer did the best job I've ever had done to my teeth. Dr Azita fixed in a bridge (I think it's called) of 3 teeth which look way better than what was there before. She took great care to match the colour of the new teeth to my other teeth. The treatment was done completely painlessly, and was my very best dental experience ever. I couldn't recommend Martin Place Dental Health, Dr Azita & Jennifer, along with their excellent and helpful frontline staff, more highly.

Negative experience: Unbelievably poor customer service. Booking in advance doesn’t count. And you may came for nothing. I booked online for whitening. And received confirmations for my bookings but when I arrive, Alana, the worst receptionist I’ve ever seen, denied it’s teeth whitening booking and insisting it’s just consult and they won’t do it for me, without asking if I want to do it any other time. And she’s lying that online booking system says consult instead of whitening when you book, which is not true, unless anyone is illiterate. Check the photo Alana. You need to know what is customer service and what is responsibility. I also asked for manager to discuss and Alana said manager not in. When I ask her full name she can’t even do that and write just the number and gave me other people card. It was the service in the past brought me in again and if this type of irresponsible people work here I feel sad for the business. I hope I’ll get response as a customer.

Fantastic experience: Its not difficult to award five stars to this practice. The staff are friendly and professional, and the fish tank is a delight! Alyssar tends to her craft with skill, diligence and gentleness. Her caring attitude is a calming influence in what can be an anxious situation. Fantastic experience: I first visited Martin Place Dental Health at the end of last year for a consultation for a root canal and internal bleaching on one of my front teeth. Dimitri did an amazing job on my tooth. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and also took extra care as I'm always somewhat nervous having dental work done due to a previous negative experience at another dental clinic years ago. Since the completion of the root canal I've been for follow up check ups and have only ever had a positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I have just moved to Australia from the UK, and was suffering with wisdom tooth pain so came to this clinic as it was very close to my place of work. The clinic was very accommodating, in booking me in for a review on the same day I made the appointment. I met with Dr Raj who suggested I have 3 teeth removed, clearly showing me the X Rays to explain the procedure. 2 weeks later, I booked in to have them removed and was fairly anxious before hand but it all went incredibly well, Dr Raj and the nurse put me at total ease and I would highly recommend.

Negative experience: This clinic is located rather conveniently in Martin Place. However, I found the staff and service to be quite unprofessional. The receptionist was on her mobile phone, was not too welcoming and my experience with the dentist or the assistant was not very pleasant either. I found it so uncomfortable that I followed up with another dentist in another practice the next day itself. Thank you. Edited 10/7/2019 - Yes this is the right practice. How'd you verify my details from this mere post? I booked in via my work email address. One would be smart enough to know what business he or she is reviewing especially if their experience wasn't a pleasant one. I've had enough with business trying to recover from bad reviews by saying "we don't have you in our system etc". Take the criticism positively to better your service provision please. Ta.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! I am from the UK and have struggled to find a good dentist for the past 5.5 years until I went to Martin Place Dental Health. I could not recommend Dr Azita enough. Can honestly say that I will never go anywhere else now.

Fantastic experience: Had two of my wisdom teeth removed here. I was well taken cared of by Dr. Gallagher and the staffs. They were very friendly and professional. Came back several times for treatment after the surgery and every concern was handled well. Totally worth the price!

Positive experience: I bought a Groupon special to go for a clean/scale/polish of my teeth. The dentist mentioned that my teeth are well looked after and clean. She then went ahead to only cleaning my front teeth, polished and wiped fluoride all over the rest. I sat down for 5 minutes and it was all over. I would thought regardless of my teeth being clean, I would get a proper clean to remove any suborn tartar. Nice clinic, bad service.

Fantastic experience: I'm really impressed with the care I received at MLC Dental. Went in for a check up and clean with Alyssar, which was excellent and completely pain free (some hygienists at other places can be a bit rough!). They did some quick x-rays and recommended that I get my wisdom teeth out. I've been told this by dentists many times and have always wussed out, but this time I felt comfortable with the dentist I had seen - Dr Sagalos. I had the top two wisdom teeth out two days ago. I called up the day before with a few questions about recovery. The receptionist was very informative, and said that if I was nervous at all to come in early to tune out with some magazines, and she'd make me a cup of tea. That is above and beyond ! The appointment took less than 40 minutes. Dr Sagalos chatted throughout it all and kept telling me what he was doing and what would be next. The recovery has been a breeze. I highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: Changed dentists and went in for a routine appointment. Advised I needed a filling (no pain at all prior). Since advised its a "coincidence" the exact same tooth has cracked and is giving me pain on a daily basis. Now every meal is accompanied with pain and advised it will cost $1,500 to fix.

Fantastic experience: Visiting Martin Place Dental Health for the first time and I was extremely pleased with all the friendly staff members. My appointment was with Dr Todd who was very thorough in going through my options and giving recommendations. To which I am proceeding with one of the options and with the orthodontist Dr Todd recommended. I will look forward to seeing you soon to fit the veneers in 12 month's time.
