Fantastic experience: The level of care that Dr Anahita Darvish has given me is nothing short of exceptional.

Negative experience: Terrible. I had a filling there. Firstly, they tried to overcharge me. I had to write to head office to get it corrected. Then adter 1.5 yrs, the filling came out. I emailed them to enquire about their warranty and got no reply. I also contacted head office, filled out the online contact form and agsin got no response.

Fantastic experience: Took my dad here last week and we were beyond happy with their service from start to finish. Booking was a breeze, location was nice & easy to locate, receptionist was absolutely lovely, professional, kind and went above and beyond to help change what we booked to cover what we needed and made my dad feel less anxious about going in. Dr Jack Cheung was again so amazing, professional, thorough, clear yet friendly with his instructions/explanation. Made my dad feel at ease as he was quite nervous. My dad was ecstatic with the level of care he received here from all staff from reception, dental assistant to dentist. So thank you 10/10 would highly recommend. Very happy with how reasonably priced multiple services were too as we paid out of pocket.

Fantastic experience: I had my regular check-up and cleaning appointment with Dr. J Cheung on Tuesday, 13th May 2025 at Pacific Smiles Dental, Mount Ommaney. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Dr. Cheung and his assistant went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and well cared for. They were incredibly thorough with the cleaning and took almost 2hours time to clean and explain everything clearly, offering helpful advice on oral care and potential treatments. I truly appreciated their professionalism, attention to detail, and the genuine care they showed. Highly recommend this team for anyone looking for top-notch dental care. Fantastic experience: I am visiting Brisbane for work so this was a last minute appointment. Dr Cheung was amazing! Highly recommend him as a dentist. Haven’t had good experiencess previously which led to my issue however is now fixed and wish he was my dentist at home. Price was also very reasonable didn’t feel like I was being over charged. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great for kids

Negative experience: Been attending this practice for years and there’s always staff issues or I’m getting mucked around with times. I’ll no longer be attending as I was called less than 20mins before my appointment (I was almost there and had arranged childcare) saying the dentist didn’t want to do my filling. Was told I could see the previous dentist but they wouldn’t be in until the following week.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service from Dr Tran.

Negative experience: Called to book in my first dental appointment, confirmed date and time. An hour later, I was being told my booking was cancelled and have to reschedule due to them not realising they’ve overbooked 3 other patients and I have to be rescheduled. Rescheduled to a later date and time slot (the following weekend). Got a phone call 2 hours before the appointment and it is yet again cancelled due to dentist being sick, and no solutions could be provided. Ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: If you have a wisdom tooth emergency. Go see Dr Kevin. He is amazing. So kind. So caring.

Fantastic experience: Have seen 2 dentists at the practice, one for my 5 year old and one for myself, and both were very friendly, talked through everything they were doing, and thorough. Front desk staff were also lovely. Can book online also, which is very convenient.

Negative experience: It took over an hour to pull one tooth. I wasn’t offered any pain relief post procedure. I couldn’t get to see a GP for 3 days for pain relief. The assistant repeatedly stabbed me in the back of my throat with the suction hose while talking to someone through the door that remained open the entire time.I was told the procedure would cost $420, but was charged $530. It’s just a sausage factory. If you have read this far, find an independent dentist. Franchised medical doesn’t work!!!!!!

Negative experience: I have to say it was the worst experience for my little girl who is 7. .. Indian lady dentist assured me she could do an extraction,, my little girl was screaming like she was being murderd, I only wish I had stopped it earlier. We were dealing with an infected baby tooth but never the less, she used no nitrous oxide , they don’t even have a rinse bowl, I honestly don’t know where these people get trained, but it was the worst hack job I’ve ever witnessed, after stopping every 5 seconds because you could hear my daughters screams all through the shopping centre I’d had enough and told them to stop..she couldn’t remove the tooth still, thank you for the antibiotics, that was the smartest decision throughout the entire thing,, she has a little swollen side of her face and that traumatised her alot, and it traumatised me, sorry I’ll never go back there,, I think the Australian dental association should be checking everyone’s qualifications to see if they’re at Australian standards. Theirs too many dentists now who are like “ Ive got this other dentist who is really good at this kind of thing “ect ect ,good lord.

Negative experience: After being told I'd need a second filling, I opted in. About 8 mths later it came out and I was told that the dentistry would be charging fully for it. Who does a filling that doesn't last even 12mths?? Will not be back...

She is extremely knowledgable, patient, caring and takes the time to make sure that I am comfortable. She is gentle and I would recommend her to anyone. I want to say thank you Dr Prajesh you have done wonderful work on my teeth but more so I feel I have full trust in my dental care moving forward.

Negative experience: Would give 0 stars if I can. Book an emergency dental appointment even when called to confirm appointment get there they advised my tooth will be fix/pulled. Get there they take a x-ray to then tell me they don’t have room to fix my issue. Cost me $120 still in a bucket load of pain and now I have the added stress on booking another appointment and finding another dentist. Why offer emergency appointments if you are not going to help in anyway. Great way to make money but that is about it

Fantastic experience: I love Dr Jessica. She always lets me ramble to her about Pokemon, and just makes the effort to find things that you enjoy talking about. Also, I just feel safe with her. Going to the dentist is something I usually stress about, but she makes it a really enjoyable experience. The reception staff are also really lovely and make the place feel super welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I have seen two different doctors at Pacific Smiles Mt. Ommaney. We have been very happy with Dr. Jessica Sun, though while she was on holidays, I saw Dr. Simya Prajesh, who was equally efficient in both appointments. The experience was comfortable (as a dentist can be!) and Dr. Simya was well mannered and friendly. Dr. Jessica was friendly, knowledgeable and communicated clearly. Would definitely recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Id been to other dentists in my area since I moved to Brisbane and I wished Id just come to Pacific Smiles Dental first. The staff are lovely and friendly and helpful. My dentist was quite thorough and explained things along the way.

Negative experience: Very disappointed. All about selling their services. Clean and check $220. Cleaning done in literally 5 minutes. Stains and discoloration not removed. I have had dentists do a thorough clean, stains removed and polish and i feel brand new when i leave. This dentist I feel like he just brushed my teeth very quickly.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jessica Sun and Teish (not sure I'm spelling that right!) were a delight. I have put off going to the dentist for 5 years because I have had bad experiences in the past but Dr Jessica and Teish put me at ease. I have extras cover with Medibank and it covered part of the cost of my treatment but the gap was very reasonable. The staff at reception were also very friendly (and understanding when I was late responding to their appointment reminder message!). I'm sure I'll be able to routinely go to the dentist without fear now. Thanks team!

Negative experience: I now think I will be frightened of any dental procedure - this was not the case until I went to this dental practice. It would have been nice to have been treated like the dentist cared. I am rattled after this experience.

Negative experience: Avoid this place! There are many other much more personalised and better practices locally. Went in for a sore tooth, from the time I sat down and to the time I was handed a qoute for $2500 for an apparantly required root canal was all but 5 minutes. Something just wasn't adding up... on getting another opinion from another dentist around the corner, the tooth that was originally diagnosed for root canal, the second dentist found to have nothing wrong with!!! I'm all for the understanding that people make mistakes, but this one would have costed me much pain and discomfort and money to root canal a perfectly healthy tooth. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

Negative experience: Booked an appointment for my son to get a root canal done. My son and I both rearranged our days at work to make it to the appointment which was at 2.40pm on a Friday. We arrived at 2.30pm to be told the dentist was running 20mins late with the previous client and they will be canceling our appointment as she the dentist Dr J Sun wasn’t willing to stay back 20mins past her finish time of 5pm. I told the receptionist this wasn’t good enough, we had turned up at the practice on time, rearranged our days at work and then dentist couldn’t stay back 20mins after 5pm to finish the job. They just said sorry, it won’t be done today and would reschedule for two weeks time. Such terrible customer service, don’t go to this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a clean done today by Dr Jessica. She was very gentle , it was one of the best experiences I’ve had getting a scale and clean!

Negative experience: Do not go here! DISHONEST PRACTICE! I've regularly had my teeth checked and cleaned every 6 months or so and very rarely had any issues as I tend to take very good care of my teeth. I moved cities so while I looked for a new dentist, I used this practice and came to the conclusion that they make money off you by lying to you saying you need a certain amount of fillers done but in reality, you don’t. I realised that when I had a cleaning and x-way done with one dentist but booked my fillers with another. The second dentist recommended me doing fillers on 2 completely different teeth compared to the first one. I then decided to hear a 3rd dentist at a different practice, this dentist was amazing and nothing like these guys. He runs his practice so his service was outstanding. To my surprise, my teeth were in perfect condition and didn’t need anything done to them! I also asked these people from pacific smiles for my x-rays and had them sent to my old dentist, he also confirmed he couldn’t see anything that needed to be done, let alone three fillers! THREE!!!! Make yourself a favour and go somewhere else. It's clear to me that these guys make money off you by lying about treatments you clearly don’t need. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Fantastic experience: Not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this place- but at least it varies from dentist to dentist. I saw Dr Diane Nguyen tonight and she was great! Had a check and clean and a few x rays and paid no gap since i’m with Medibank. Paid absolutely nothing! Albeit the clean was a bit too quick, but I guess my teeth didn’t have much problems anyways. Negative experience: It’s Ironic that the worst, unpleasant dentist at Pacific Smiles Dental has a bunch of (FAKE) great reviews. Jessica Sun is no good!, if a dentist jumps to the conclusion that your tooth needs to be extracted FIND ANOTHER DENTIST. I was very close to going and removing my tooth from the picture she had painted until i got a second opinion and was told that who ever told me to extract my tooth was a crook trying to quickly make a cash grab and throw you out the seat as quickly as possible with very little care. Also i was pressured by being charged $50 for making the tooth removal booking with her. My friend called the dentist asking to book the same procedure and they did not charge her $50. Iv never heard of being charged for making a booking and its embarrassing i was gullible enough to do so. Do not trust this practice and DEFINITELY DO NOT TRUST JESSICA SUN

Negative experience: Had very bad experience with their services Just running late for my kid dental checkup (Normally takes5-10 min) But Dr Tran refused to see him cause of late After keep changing my appointment for 3 times to suit by centre to suits their doctors times.never come back again

Negative experience: DON'T GO!!!!! Dr. Parisa Mohammadzadegan exaggerated on the decay issue for one of my teeth, stating that a root canal procedure most probably have to be considered due to the severity of the decay. I had a strong feeling that she was lying since I don't feel any teeth pain and teeth being sensitive at all. Another dentist examined my teeth and informed me that the tooth decay was very minor. In addition, Parisa took X-Ray on my teeth THREE times in order to charge more on one dental checkup!!!!! I don't understand why she is so hungry for money and no ethical at all. She deducted $268 from my health fund for a dental checkup and clean (half an hour job). Just wondering how much is enough for her?

Negative experience: I was directed here by my fund AHM. Called to make appointment for tooth extraction; appointment within 48 hours was great! Attending the first time, filling out forms etc, they still managed to enter my details into the computer incorrectly, including my name. Unfortunately I had to follow up on getting the Periodontist details which weren't provided or sent to me as promised; they hadn't sent the referral to the Periodontist either. Just sharing my experience which created a delay in procedures, which of course is inconvenient when you are restricted with the time available for such services. Obviously room for improvement there by the administrative staff, but no issue with the dental work provided by the dentist.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a scam, my partner had to get x-rays here every 6 months which I thought was absurd and then tells me that fillings were also needed (COSTING $500!!) which again doesn’t sound right at all. We decided to go to another dentist well known and respected in my family and they determined that no fillings were needed at all!

Negative experience: Avoid this dentist! I was quite anxious and uneasy about my dentist checkup and clean, Dr. M Hamal showd absolutely no compassion, empathy or understanding to my feelings. There was no explaining what was happening it was basically "sit back lay here we go, oh now we're doing this, oh now I'm doing this". My experience with Dr Hamal was absolutely horrific. This wasn't a consultation, this the was the absolute definition of a get in get out dentist, with absolutely no care given to the patient. Then, when I went to leave the receptionist swiped my private health card and proceeded to tell me my card wouldn't swipe and I would have to pay. This was supposed to be a free no gap consultation and clean. I was then charged $300 and told I would have to claim this back with my private health. I was then also told that they might not pay it all back and in that case I would then have to claim with Pacific smiles to pay me back the difference. I cant honestly believe a clean and a cheak up could cost this much! I will never return nor can I recommend this business. What an absolutely disgusting experience.

Negative experience: We have been coming to this clinic for many years now & had a lot of treatment done & always happy with the service but not this time. My husband & I went there last Saturday to re-book my appointment that has been canceled last Tuesday & for my husband to pick his mouth guard. When I approached the receptionist to rebook my appointment she wasn’t very friendly. She asked for my name & for what procedure did I wanted. I advised her that I don’t remember the right term for the procedure but I think that it should be on my profile. She advised me that once my booking was cancelled that she won’t be able to see it on the system. So then I insisted & asked her to check on my profile/ history and I am pretty sure that she’ll see what procedure I was going to have. She then told me that I don’t have to be rude to her, that she was only here to help out & that Shen doesn’t work at this branch. Like I was the one with the problem that I didn’t know what procedure I was going to have. After upsetting me she still had the guts to ask for my date of birth. I told her no & that I am just going to have my business somewhere else & she then responded to me. (that Yes that’s ok you can do that.) After my husband’s appointment he was given his mouth guard. (just the mouth guard it self) My husband had to asked the receptionist to put it in a small bag. The service is becoming worst plus a receptionist that doesn’t know how to do her job. (You guys just lost a procedure that’s worth $1000.) I am not sure if we can come back here again. So disappointed ☹️.

Fantastic experience: Called Pacific Smiles all the way from Los Angeles, California to settle a debate on if brushing your tongue is an American cultural phenomenon, and Katrina was so helpful in answering our questions and helped us win an argument against our Australian friend. So thank you Katrina and Pacific Smiles Dental! Y’all know your stuff.

Negative experience: This splint here worth $500 did not even last a week. Dr Pijana Fisher we saw and came in to see how she could help us as we where upset with a splint that broke so easily. Dr Pijana Fisher showed no empathy or desire to help us further in resolving the issue. Do not go to this practice they do not care about you personally you are better off to see a privelty owned practice where they see the value and worth in there loyal customers.

Fantastic experience: Today I went in to the dentist after been to different dentist. I must admit I was scared. The lovely reception ladies were kind an understanding. My dentist was so lovely calm voice an easy to just talk to. She understands an acknowledges that I am a busy mum of 3. I wouldn't fault this dentist an reccomened for everyone to come in.

Fantastic experience: I’m always anxious when it comes to trips to a dentist . Jessica Sun is absolutely brilliant . Her calm and friendly manners makes me less stressed . She discusses the procedure before band , then talks thru it during the procedure , reminds me to breathe , all of which makes me less scared and anxious . Her hands are gentle and she’s very considerate . Her lovely assistant is happy to lend her hand when I feel most discomfort . I would highly recommend Jessica Sun !

Negative experience: AVOID THIS DENTIST AT ANY COST!!! I have been there twice to see Dr Jessica Sun. For my first appointment I had general check up, clean and filling done on one of my front tooth. I went home and realised that the filling done was not matched to the colour of my tooth. So in 6 months time I went again and brought to her attention that the difference in colour, she said that I’d have to redo it again and they’d still charge me the same amount as they did proeviously! It wasn’t my fault that she can’t do it right at the first bloody time!!! Never going back there again it’s just not worth the money and they don’t take responsibility for anything!

Negative experience: Worst dentist ever... They charge so much for fillings and they don't do a good job... will never come back to this place again. They don't do wat the patient want, but they just do what they want. They goes charging u any prices they want.. you got to able to the right thing and make the patient happy before u go charging.. $307 for just a filling is way too expensive..

Fantastic experience: Dr Jessica and Mel were absolutely amazing. I hadn't been to the dentist for about seven/eight years as I'd had a fairly traumatic expetience with my last one (in addition to being somewhat needle phobic!), but they created such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, they were gentle and totally understanding, and everything was communicated perfectly as well. It was an immense relief to find such a good little team! Honestly can't reccomend these guys enough, thank you so, so much! :)
