Fantastic experience: Terrific service 1) easy to book in as a new patient seamlessly and be called to ensure I knew where to go. 2). Super friendly receptionist that made me feel like I am part of the Little Bay community with the dentist, the GP; the grocer, the cafes who know my order. I have never had that feeling living in a big city. What an honour to be known by my cafe orders, my needs for a particular grocery item; my medical record and now my teeth!!!!! 3) great dentist who is really efficient and thorough and ensures he addresses all of my list of issues one by one and sees where the problems for the future will lie if we don’t address them now. He explains that both of us (me at home and he at the dentistry office have to work together. He also explains the ramifications if we don’t. I have never understood the ramifications (teeth falling out) as clearly as I did yesterday and I will now be motivated to significantly improve my dental hygiene at home which has definitely been falling behind. I now have a mission to keep my teeth into old age and love that he sees it as a partnership. 4) he also is clear on where I do have choices if the finances are too overwhelming or if I don’t see the need for some things 5) the receptionist then really helps by working with my private insurance there and then to figure out what the future cost and then reimbursement will be should I choose the optional remedies as well as the Necessary remedies. Very clear. And super friendly. I felt I was accepted immediately by my local dentist office. 6) I actually enjoyed the whole experience. Excellent five stars. Everyone there so friendly, clear, and good wits too which I like. They work together well as a team I can see, which is also reassuring that there are good vibes. Little things like getting each other the right coffees or teas. Ok over and out. Well done guys!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Big Smiles Dental regularly since I moved to the area in 2015. David and Orla have been absolutely spectacular over the years. I trust their judgment and their advice. David is an absolute legend. He has a sure hand and is really really good at what he does. I trust him completely when it comes to my dental health. Orla is very good too. I have been impressed with how she is able to provide a full proper clean without causing much discomfort. Organising and changing appointments are easy and simple to do with the admin staff as well. I recommend this dental practice. They are very good at what they do and are down to earth and kind people.

Fantastic experience: We went to Big Smiles Dental in the first instance because it was a Medibank choice provider, and they were close to Matraville where we were living at the time. My wife and I really love this dental practice. The people are friendly, and flexible, and Dr. Fanious is an excellent dentist. We now live in Saint peters and although there are many dentists around this area including Medibank choice providers, we still make the trek to Little Bay. We believe that once you find a good dentist, do your best to stick with them!

I am a difficult patient as I have a lot of anxiety after decades of bad dentistry performed on me in the past. It takes a great deal for me to trust the dentist and Dr Chris has helped me shift my fears, ideas & understanding of what it should be like to see a dentist. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Chris as he has such a calming nature and depth of kindness that carries into his hands. I am amazed that I did not even feel a pinch when I got the anaesthetic at the beginning of my appointment & the rest was quick & easy. I feel my words don’t do him the justice he deserves and hope that more people get the life changing experience I did.

Fantastic experience: Dr Christoper Aguilar at Big Smiles Dental in Little Bay is the best dentist I’ve seen in my life. I don’t know how he does it, but when he injects the anaesthetic, I barely feel it. He’s very gentle and has really helped me overcome my dental phobia. And he’s made my teeth look great too.

Negative experience: So if you're up for being made to feel like a second rate citizen come along to this dental business. Appointment was booked for 4.45pm. Left work early to make the appointment arrived 5 minutes early. Receptionist greeted me with name not mine then said its a filling, yes that's right. As I'm filling out the paper work another women strolls in she belongs to the name which l was initially greeted with. A lot of mumblings about double booking then into the dentist for a conflab. The receptionist waltz back out and says to the second women come on in and over her shoulder to me won't be long. So l thought be reasonable she probably just needs her braces adjusted. Then l heard the dentist say so I'll numb you up. I thought oh this is really very very rude and l decided a long time ago l don't support rude ill mannered people monetarily or morally. Communication is imperative in any business especially the sensitive profession of dentistry. If you had communicated with me that you had stuffed up the booking and would l mind waiting, l would've told you no l can't wait l have a very ill mother in hospital that l needed to be with. I concluded that I'd be best to take myself right out of the situation and go see mum. You see she raised me to be polite always treat people as you would like to be treated. The term is good manners. Try learning them not just for your business but for yourself. You'll find it will come back to you in a major way.
