' You won't be disappointed and up she is up front with photos , which is very important and Katelyn is very transparent on her explanations, clear and very honest ! as I've been misled to by other dentist and lied to , exaggerated, ' and my they burn in hell'

After years of waiting for the public dentist and dealing with the effects of poor oral hygiene, Dr. Chen gave me my smile back. I used to struggle with dental anxiety, but since coming here, it's significantly improved. While I still feel a little anxious at the start of my appointments, I always find myself calming down as the appointment goes on, thanks to Dr. Chen’s gentle and understanding approach. I am extremely anxious attending the dentist but she makes it easy, allowing time for breaks and checking in frequently that I am coping. I also appreciate the explanations of what’s happening to my teeth, using imaging which they display in the room. Front of house staff also friendly and welcoming.

Positive experience: My procedure went very well and the dentist was wonderful. However I was surprised by the unkempt & unhygienic waiting area. Dusty lampshades and old soiled chair pads certainly didn't make a good impression.

Negative experience: It’s great to see others whom have been here had positive experiences not sure how this practice has such a high rating, but my experience was just the worst! I phoned early on a Saturday morning to have my crown stuck back in as it “fell off” night before grateful I managed to get in & early at that but this is where it ends! What felt like forever the female dentist was beyond CONFUSING! Just a simple pop the crown back on & make another appointment to go from there & discuss my dental issues, to what I had in mind was to replace all crowns at the front w different options but no she just went on & on abt just one tooth. There was a boy in the room as well whom I thought was dental assistant then half way through when I was asked for a panoramic e ray she told me he was a Intern dentist, then it started to make sense, I should have been told whom this person was right from the start NOT during another ex ray, by this time I felt pssd off, every detail was to benefit the boy NOT ME! At one stage she wanted to pull my tooth out or pop a porcelain crown put an implant in? Quote over 7k for one tooth!!!! I could not wait to get out then she told me not to wait too long as the crown my only last 3 months but makes me another appointment for a clean in a month!!! Overpaid on this visit absolute rip off I have a medical condition that I am being treated for by professionals currently. This female dentist couldn’t careless as long as the intern learned how to confuse the hell out of patients & over charge lost a lot of money that day & time all for the benefit for someone learning! Don’t recommend here need to be honest!

Fantastic experience: Just wanting to share my lovely experience in straightening my teeth with invisalign at this clinic. The whole process was explained clearly to me by Dr Katelyn Chen and erased any doubts I had about the procedure. I had regular follow up progress appointments to monitor how my teeth were moving. Once the original sets were complete I had refinements to complete the look. The results have been been amazing and has transformed my smile. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Have been going to Dr Katelyn Chen for over a year now for a few issues and she has been just wonderful! I have avoided the dentist for far too long (and now paying the price) as I’ve always had a lot of anxiety and stress when it comes to my teeth and the dentist experience. But wow has Royal Park Dental changed my perception and I now feel so comforted and positive when I visit. I took my two young sons to Dr Chen for their first dentist visits as I know they would only have a positive experience and I was right! They had a great time. The receptionists, especially Samantha, have always been so kind and helpful. Their service really goes above and beyond! TV’s on the roof also make for a wonderful distraction during your visits. A great touch for nervous patients. Very reasonably priced with Afterpay options, but they also try to avoid any unnecessary costs and give you options. Amazing team!

Sitting in the dentist chair can be daunting for a lot of people and this practice goes above and beyond to ensure you have the most pleasant experience, keeping the anxiety to a minimum. The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. It didn’t take long at all to be seen. The two ladies who performed the filling in my cracked tooth were wonderful, caring and professional. What I really liked from them most was their understanding and empathy. Thank you so much! The procedure itself was rather uncomfortable at times (this is to be expected, no fault of the dentist) but any time I felt like that the dentist immediately picked up on that, was very supportive and allowed me to take small breaks. There was a TV above me and relaxing music in the background which helped me to somewhat take my mind off what was happening. The last time I went to a dentist 2 years ago for a wisdom tooth extraction there was none of that, so definitely a nice touch. As for the pricing, it seems pretty reasonable. I was offered a nice deal on a general checkup / cleaning etc while I was there so I might take them up on that soon and will definitely be going back for any more dental work in future. Edit: Went back for a dental clean and to get a referral to see the specialist about wisdom tooth extraction. Sitting in the chair was a lot more comfortable than last time, and as usual everyone was lovely. I went to the specialist yesterday and he even complemented on the filling and said they did a good job. Thanks again for everything!

Dr Rachel attended to me and was meticulous with her craft. She ensured that I had a pain-free/pain-less experience by being gentle and careful when handling the instruments. Excellent professionalism. Another reason why I am impressed. The front desk staff (Kim & Casey) are courteous, efficient and very well mannered. That is exactly why I felt comfortable at royal park dental. On a side note, I like how they appreciate and can hold a good banter. Worth the 35mins drive from my place.

Negative experience: I live in the neighborhood and have heard about this clinic for many years. Yesterday morning I called them to make an appointment for a family member to have a clean and check up on Wednesday next week. The admin was polite and she took the details and made the appointment for us. A few minutes later, she called me back. She said something went wrong with their computer system so all the information I gave her for the appointment was missing. She asked me to repeat everything to make this appointment again. I was ok because I understand such things with the computers do happen sometimes. Later that morning, I found out I had a missed phone call from this dental clinic on my mobile. I thought maybe their computer went wrong again, so I called them back. A second person talked to me and said she did not know why they called me. She said she would ask the first admin to call me back later. I said I am at work and cannot be disturbed again and again. Just to make a dental check up appointment already took me three phone calls does not seem the best practice. I asked the second person to look at their system to see if our appointment for next Wednesday was still there. If it were, then please don't bother to call me back. We will attend the appointment next week. This second person said ok. Later yesterday afternoon, I found out another missed phone call from them, and I did feel very annoyed. I called them back anyway. Then I was told that their dentist decided not to take any appointment for next Wednesday, so they had to reschedule ours. THEN WHY DID YOU ACCEPT IT AT THE VERY BEGINNING? I believe I have every reason to be cross with them. I said please don't bother, just cancel the appointment and we will see someone else. You are not the only dentist in this area, and if you don't want to take it then we walk away. I said just cancel the appointment. I thought this was the end of the story, and I booked with another dental clinic for my family. However, I had another missed call from them again this morning. I was furious but curious too, so I called them back to see what the reason was this time. Then this person said they did not realise I did not want to be bothered any more by phone until they had called me again this morning! Fairly speaking, I don't know the dentist's at this clinic and I cannot comment on them. The one star rating was for their very bad customer service.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Dental clinic, they looked after me and cannot fault them. Dr Debbie made sure I am in tip top shape for surgery later next month and have no complications due to anything dental.
