Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of Pacific Smiles Queanbeyan. I had cosmetic tooth issue that I was distraught about. The ladies on reception were so empathetic to what I was going through. They were also highly knowledgeable and talked me through the process to fix it over the phone, while also getting me an appointment that day. When I got there they were just as kind which made all the difference when I was feeling so stressed and anxious. I saw Dr Sharmilla and her assistant and they could not have been more amazing. They could see I was stressed and were so kind and assured me they would do everything they could to help. They had my tooth fixed within half an hour. The cost was very reasonable too. I am beyond happy I ended up at Pacific Dental Queanbeyan today, thank you so much to the team there, I am honestly so grateful.

Negative experience: Got an appointment on a Sunday with Dr Kel Waiba at Queanbeyan clinic. Did a filling. IT FELL OUT THAT NIGHT. It was supposed to be permanent. (The whole appointment felt incredibly rushed and I wonder if the practice may be booking more appointments than to staff can handle.) Will be demanding my money back. Update ... head office called next day to offer my money back! Good, but also do wonder how often they have to do that!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for the last couple of years and haven’t had a bad experience. The staff are always very professional, polite, and provide excellent service. I enjoy going so often that I book extra cleaning appointments. 10/10

Negative experience: All attempts to contact the manager Brioney to rectify the huge mistakes made by the dentist have been completely ignored for over a year now, hence this review. Dentist failed to clean infection properly and filled over the top; locking in the cavity and letting it fester. I even had a checkup after her poor workmanship to complain of grinding and she told me I was grinding my teeth from work and I should quit my job… she didn’t see the massive cavity she had locked in (all three of her cavities failed, the only dentistry work I’ve had fail has all been from this clinic). The agonising pain made me start violently teeth grinding. I ground until the infected tooth exploded while I was on holiday. I was bedridden, sobbing, still being ignored. Two dentists have independently reviewed this clinics work and said it is not up to standard. They were horrified. I am out of pocket thousands. This clinic won’t call me back. I need surgery now to fix my teeth. If you choose to go here don’t be surprised when it happens to you - they don’t know what they are doing and they will ignore you when it goes wrong. I am escalating this matter higher. Absolutely appalling.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to the same dental clinic since they opened in Queanbeyan and prior to that, the one in Robina, Qld. The service and treatment at both are awesome and no matter which Pacific Dental you go to, the level of professionalism is the same.

Negative experience: I had an appointment at Queanbeyan Pacific smile. Unfortunately, my experience was not good enough. The rudeness of the front staff was totally depressing especially one of the old female staff. One of the male staff at the front desk didn't speak English very well and couldn't understand what he was saying. Initially my appointment was with Megna and her behaviour was not professional. It is good that she is not working there anymore. Overall, I had bad experience and the treatment was too expensive as well.Rating 1/10. However, I have had a nice experience with Dr.S.Prabhakar, she was so professional throughout the treatment.

Negative experience: My recent visit to this establishment was marred by a painful experience due to a toothache. The issues began when they issued me with an incorrect prescription in someone else's name, followed by a prolonged wait of one and a half hours at the chemist to rectify the mistake. Moreover, the receptionist's behavior was unacceptable, exhibiting rudeness and a lack of empathy. Although mistakes are inevitable, it is crucial to address them with professionalism and courtesy towards clients. Regrettably, this establishment failed to meet these expectations, indicating a need for internal training to improve their service standards.

Positive experience: I had an appointment today at Pacific Smiles Dental Queanbeyan. The staff, especially Ms Bree, was very kind and professional — I truly appreciated her warm and caring approach. However, one thing that I find quite frustrating is being asked to fill out the same detailed form every time I visit, even after clearly stating that my personal details and medical history have not changed. I understand the need for accuracy, but it would be more patient-friendly to confirm verbally or offer a quicker update process when no changes are required. Repeating the same information each time feels unnecessary and a bit inconvenient. I hope the management considers a more streamlined approach to make the experience smoother for returning patients.

Negative experience: I usually have a high tolerance of impolite services, but gosh this place takes the cake. To be fair, the dentists we saw were nice, but the receptionist was extremely rude. She shouted at me and made snarky, belittling comments. I was shaken, worse that my young daughter had to witness it.

Negative experience: Visited the dental clinic today for right hand side lover, 2nd last tooth sharp pain ( couldn’t sleep for last 4 days becouse of pain - no pain not subsided even after taking Panadol and newrofin). No spicial pain killers scripted and only antibiotics script given. And referred to specialist. Still suffering on pain.

Negative experience: I had my veneers done overseas, but they were improperly glued. After I arrived in Australia, one of the veneers came out. I saw a dentist at the Queanbeyan Pacific Dental Clinic, and she re-glued it for me within 15 minutes, charging me about $550. Unfortunately, about four months later, the veneer she glued came out again, and I was not pleased. When I explained the situation to the receptionist, they said I would have to pay again for the re-gluing. I then raised the issue of consumer rights, and the receptionist transferred me to their manager. I explained the situation to the manager, who also seemed unaware of consumer rights. She insisted that I had to pay again at the Queanbeyan clinic. I also requested that she send me my previous invoice, which she has not yet done. I raised the issue again and asked where my previous doctor was currently working. The manager said she is still at the same clinic but at a different location. I then called the Belconnen clinic, where the receptionist, a very sensible and polite person, when I explain the following explained my rights to her. They’re agreed accepted to glue to me. People like me in the future should understand their rights and situation like. that I’m explaining here: Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), consumer rights extend to both goods and services, ensuring that both are provided with due care and skill, and are fit for any specified purpose. When it comes to services, like dental services, the ACL specifies certain guarantees that service providers must meet: 1.Due Care and Skill: Services must be provided with acceptable care and skill or technical knowledge and must be performed with the necessary technical knowledge expected from a professional in the field. This means that any service, such as dental work, should be carried out in a way that meets generally accepted standards in the industry. 2.Fitness for a Particular Purpose: If you, as a consumer, make known to the provider the particular purpose for which you are acquiring the service, or the result that you wish the services to achieve, there is an expectation that the services, and any product resulting from the services, will be fit for that purpose or achieve that result. 3.Time Frame: Services must be provided within a reasonable time when there is no agreed end date. For services that are ongoing, like dental treatments, this means the service must be provided in a timely manner that is reasonable for that type of service. If a service fails to meet these standards, consumers have rights to: • Remedies: If the service does not meet one or more of the above guarantees, consumers are entitled to a range of remedies including repeating the service or getting some or all of their money back. • Consequential Loss: If the failure of the service leads to other unforeseen costs or damages, consumers might be entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage as a result of the failure. For my situation with the dental veneer service, if the service (application of the veneer) was not provided with acceptable care and skill, resulting in the veneer not lasting as long as it reasonably should have, me may be entitled to remedies under the ACL. This could include having the veneer reattached at no additional cost, or potentially receiving a partial or full refund if the service is deemed to have a major failure. It’s advisable to bring these points up directly with the service provider. If the issue isn’t resolved satisfactorily, I might consider contacting a consumer rights organization for further assistance or even pursuing a complaint through the relevant regulatory body or a small claims tribunal.

Fantastic experience: I attended Pacific Smiles Queanbeyan last week for a chipped front tooth. I was very anxious about my appointment, but Dr Meghna Karoor was absolutely wonderful! She immediately made me feel at ease and comfortable, taking the time to explain the procedure in understandable terms and answering all of my questions. The whole procedure was pain free! From the friendly and welcoming staff at the front desk to the excellent care from Dr Meghna Karoor I would definitely recommend Pacific Smiles Queanbeyan!

Negative experience: Unfortunately had horrible experience. I went there to get tooth filling but for basic filling I charged $482. I do not think so anywhere in the world for filling this price acceptable. They added extra fee to show themself innocent and fair but it is only scamming. Extra fees an oral examination, scanning etc. I know what’s my problem and I know what kind of treatment I need . But, to get out of my pocket more money without my permission they charged me un understandable fees. Please, BE AWARE from this company, big scammer. I will also take this case to the fair trading, everything has market value and ethic.

Negative experience: Very unhappy. Was told initial appointment would cost $270 including an xray. I said I didn't want an xray and was quoted $70 with which I was happy. On the day of my appointment, I was charged $270. I only had an examination and clean and it was the roughest, most painful clean I have ever had. Very unhappy and feel deceived.

Negative experience: My experience with the dental manager at the store was terrible. The manager displayed a complete lack of professionalism and seemed disinterested in helping customers. They were rude and dismissive when I had questions about services and pricing, making me feel unwelcome.

Negative experience: Absolute rip off. Prices are a joke. I’m a private health patient with good cover. For a routine visit it cost me $138. Now that might not seem like a lot but when my partner who doesn’t have health insurance pays the same price it’s ridiculous, they clearly overcharge for private health. Not to mention I’ve also been going here at least 3-4 visits and I’ve been charged as a “first appointment” on my invoice.

Positive experience: They are easy to get into, they offer payment options and they make quick work of extractions but when It came to occlusions it was a different story. I was quoted apprpx $ 16000for 6 root canal treatments and caps to fix my crippling pain. I took this as the final word for months. I accepted that I would have to live with this pain until I could afford to travel overseas to get the work done until the increasing pain and my family/work responsibilities caused me to seek several extra opinions none of which quoted mote then $2500. Months of pain because I didnt seek a 2nd opinion. Always get a 2nd opinion

Negative experience: Poor communication. Went in for a 20-minute clean and check up and ended up with a $244 invoice. Other "services" listed on invoice were not once communicated or explained and it was a rude shock when I was handed the invoice. Don't recommend.

Negative experience: Worse experience I will never be going there again, took my 7 year son because he had a tooth ache, no wonder kids a scared of going to the dentist, Dr Habibi was very rough and angry because he couldn't keep his mouth open. What do expect from kids they are not like adults Not child friendly at all.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ali is a fantastic dentist. My 13 yo son and I have seen him over the last six years. A true ultra professional. He has a very calming bed side manner, and if work is required, he attends to it immediately and gently. A highly recommended dentist, for small children through to the aged.

Negative experience: Go to another branch if you can, and avoid Dr. Habibi, who will put some souvenir in your mouth every time, and try to add cost after he has fixed up your mouth. He tried to charge me $330 for a small cavity filling

Fantastic experience: Dr Ali did an amazing job with my elderly mother. He was very patient and kind. I take my mum to many medical appointments and love it when the practitioner talks to mum and not me. Shows respect.

Negative experience: Where to begin! Made a booking because they advertised 'payment plans' for customers, but then when we inquired on the day, the lady said 'Oh no, we don't do that HERE! That's just a show reel from Sydney'... Needless to say that is false advertising and I have let the ACCC know. The dentist himself wasn't much better. I had a sore tooth and after taking an x-ray, he lamented 'I can't see anything wrong.' Really? I am in pain and you can find no cause? He suggested a root canal, to the cost of $2k... but remember, no payment plan now, and he's not even sure what it is! Why bother? He busied himself with wiring up a quote [utterly useless at this point]... I left, paid the $125 for my 'i can't see anything/I don't know what is wrong'. Not recommended, Won't return. Save yourself the hassle. This explains why there was only 1 dentist on at the time, and we were the only people in the waiting room.

Positive experience: Went in today with a sore tooth. Although the actual tooth will need more visits, the adjacent tooth needed a filling and, coming from someone who is extremely fearful of needles in general the whole ordeal was actually quite relaxing. Definitely put me at ease for any upcoming procedures needed.

Negative experience: I had a filling done 5 weeks ago and that has come out as well as breaking the tooth. I would have thought that having a filling would last more than 5 weeks. I know might have to have a cap crown put on as it is a molar. Very disappointed. The reason my tooth broke is because my bite was not corrected when the filling was done so now I have a broken tooth and I am not happy about it at all
