Negative experience: I visited Tooth Savers today and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. I left in considerable pain. The primary clinician who worked on my teeth was unexpectedly rude, though the other staff member was courteous. During the appointment, she noticed a chip on one of my teeth and inquired whether I grind my teeth at night. I responded that I wasn’t sure, but she continued to press, asking if I do it during the day. I explained that I don’t believe so, as I would likely be aware of it. She then stated that the chip was caused by grinding my teeth due to stress, which seemed like an assumption rather than an informed assessment. While they were cleaning my teeth, I sensed her frustration as my gums continued to bleed. As a long-time patient of this practice, I am deeply disappointed by today's experience and will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my experience at Toothsavers. The patient experience from start to finish is very personable. The technology they use and the added plus of having the X-rays and photographs of my teeth made my treatment very easy to understand as a patient. I felt well informed by both the Dentist and Oral Hygienist. I am very pleased and will bring my family back.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Toothsavers Dentists at Mount Annan today and I came away extremely impressed. Dr Atinder and her assistant were so lovely and patient, and explained everything very clearly and managed me so well, as I sometimes have difficulties when things are happening in my mouth. The equipment they have at the practice is state of the art. It was quite incredible to see how amazingly well set up they are. The people at the reception counter were also lovely and so friendly and accommodating. I feel very confident in saying that I think I have found the right place with the right people to continue my ongoing dental care, and the bonus for me is that they are only a few minutes down the road from where I live.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to visit Toothsavers after a bad experience at my previous dentist, and they did not disappoint! The lovely lady at reception helped immensely at initial booking (I'm sorry I can't remember her name!), so me, my partner and young son could all be looked at sequentially, making life much easier. The practice itself is world class, with a top-of-the-line X-Ray machine, cameras and equipment. There are TVs mounted to the roof in each room, so you can relax and enjoy a trip to the Maldives, while the team get to work on your teeth. The OHT, dental assistants and dentists are all clearly passionate about their work and patients, with little touches to make sure you are as comfortable and informed as possible. We were then all given detailed follow up treatment plans, which was great, so we knew exactly what costs we could expect. On returning for follow up treatment, both my partner and I have have been treated like family. Dr Atinder had the unfortunate task of calming me down before an extraction, but did so with ease with her genuine compassion and professionalism. The tooth was out so quickly, I initially didn't believe it had happened yet!! Before leaving, I was given told how to best care for my mouth while it heals, and was grateful that it was also written down so I could refer to it as it healed. I was also invites for return for a check on how it was healing a week later at no additional charge. A few days later, the lovely Paula at reception called to check how it was healing and if I had any questions or concerns (I did not). This is truly a wonderful practice, with them putting time, money, patience and care into ensuring their patients have the best possible experience, and I will not only take my family here and only here for future dental check ups and work, but will also be recommending them to everyone I know in Sydney. Thank you to the whole team, especially Dr Atinder, OHT Emily and Paula at Reception! :)

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the team at Toothsavers Mount Annan. The team look at you from a whole person perspective which enables them to ensure you have the greatest advice, treatment options and they use the most up to date technology. The whole experience from entering the surgery until your treatment is completed is done with such care, thoughtfulness, honesty, genuineness, and professionalism from each and every staff member that you feel very welcome and at ease. The quality, the knowledge and vastness of services offered is exceptional. I have a complex dental/jaw history and I don’t think I could have navigated through what I needed done without Dr Thind, Dr Tina and the team.

Fanny did my cleaning and I can’t thank her enough for the results, how gentle and attentive she was. The dental assistants also did a great job. Totally recommend it.

Negative experience: I will never return. Do yourself a favour and get a second opinion after being assessed here, save your time, money and TEETH! Also, many hidden costs, was charged $200 deposit for an additional appointment to address my periodontal concern, I ended up canceling well in advance (saving myself almost 30k and my teeth) after having my immediate issue resolved for $500 I then had to fill out an “Application” to get my refund in which I was told 14 days, took 7 weeks the staff had excuses and never returned my calls. In it for the money not the patient! Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Ok. I went in for a check-up last week as I chipped a tooth and it was very sharp and scratching my tongue causing me substantial pain. I was introduced to Nicole, who is an Oral Health Therapist, who took me in to her office and interviewed me. She was very nice and took 3 X-rays, as well as taking my photo and asking lots of questions. At first I wondered why the dentist himself, isn’t asking me all these questions, but when he finally came in, Nicole had my whole story down pat and explained all to the dentist including the results of my X-rays. Now, I think, I understood why. The dentist would be busy working on patients while Nicole prepares the next one. Anyway, the dentist then explained to me my options including costs. My check-up, including the X-rays, cost me $150 and the dentist ground my offending tooth for free. I’m very happy I came to toothsavers and I will keep you posted on future dental work that I will have.

I booked an appointment a couple weeks back for teeth cleaning and the dentist damaged my sensitive tissues whilst cleaning my teeth; Due to this, I have extremely bad pain on the right side of my mouth. They used the very latest in technology. Took before and after pictures and spent a great amount of time and care with my checkup and clean. All this while I watched Netflix from my chair.
