Fantastic experience: I visited Thornbury Smiles today thinking I needed to have my tooth extracted as it was broken & damaged & saw Dr Hesam Rahimi He didn’t want to extract cause he said he was able to save it, he managed to reconstruct the damaged tooth & fill it with white filler which looks amazing & I’m pain free. He is absolutely brilliant & caring, he was extremely gentle & I didn't feel any pain whatsoever, he made sure that I was comfortable during the entire process, he explained everything that he was doing, each time asking if I was ok & if I could feel any pain. Upon entering the clinic, we were greeted by a warm and friendly welcome from Rahi who quickly attended to our paperwork and made us feel welcome. Our assigned dentist, Dr Hesam Rahimi , was exceptional in handling pediatric patients. He had a warm and caring demeanor that instantly won Yara's trust. Dr Hesam Rahimi took the time to explain each step of the examination and cleaning process in a child-friendly manner, ensuring that Yara felt comfortable and understood what was happening. Fantastic experience: I went to Thornbury Smiles for the first time and had an unexpected wisdom tooth extraction by Dr Pragti Bala today. I thought I had a chipped tooth, but it turned out I needed my wisdom tooth extracted. (This is what happens when you avoid dentists!) I like many others have had some former traumatic experiences with dentists, and my experience at Thornbury Smiles couldn't be further from my previous experience. Dr Bala was so calm and kind, really fast with some potentially anxiety inducing procedures (for me-such as the xrays) and explained everything. I'm booked in for another wisdom tooth extraction soon in the future, and I'm so happy knowing I'm going to be in Dr Bala's very capable hands. The nurse and reception staff are so professional and kind too.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr Hesam Rahimi and the Thornbury Smiles practice has been a very positive one. As a family we have needed cleaning, fillings, teeth removed and a new front tooth attached in an urgent situation. We have always been very happy with the work done and the care shown. The results have always been of a high standard and Dr Hesam has never forced unnecessary dental work to be done, but has always been honest and realistic about any dental issues. We travel quite a distance to go to the practice now but have been unhappy when we have tried other dentists. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Hesam and his practice.

Fantastic experience: Just had my first appointment for a check up and clean and couldn’t be happier with the quality and service! So friendly and welcoming. I had accidentally booked for a whitening treatment online, but they didn’t mind when I admitted to the error. The gap fee of over $130 was waived as it was my first visit and also gave me a free oral hygiene pack when I left! Highly recommend this dentist!

Negative experience: My appointment kept getting pushed back because of more urgent cases even though the last time I’d been in the chair I was told my ‘tooth fix’ was temporary and another at risk of breaking. Lovely people, poor business practice. I won’t be going back.
