Fantastic experience: Well going to a dentist is not the best way to spend time as u know you are heading for a mouth full of pain well I have just had a experience that changed my mind about going to the dentist. You walk in and it’s a nice relaxed setting and a calming setting . While waiting you are in a relaxed setting and your mind is not thinking of what is to come . Entering the Room you are meeting by friendly people yes the dentist and his assistant are very friendly and make you feel safe and comfortable. The filling and cleaning I had carried out were the best I have experienced in all my time at a dentist. If u every wanted to not go to a dentist well I suggest go to Westlake Dental and you experience a change to the way you have thought about dentist in the past . I had a great experience and have booked for another session. You will not be disappointed. Don’t wait book in now .

It was a complicated problem Dionne had with her teeth and also being a diabetic 1 presented other problems. Fantastic experience: There isn't space enough for me to properly explain just how grateful I am for Westlake Dental. It started when my kids had some complex issues that needed fixing and I was immediately impressed with how friendly, warm, and skilled everything was. I have a lifelong fear of the dentist and after many years of personal issues and self neglect my teeth were in a disgraceful state. When I finally hit my limit and called the clinic trying to hold back tears with how ashamed and embarrassed I was, I was welcomed and comforted and had an initial appointment the next day. While nobody minced words and kept things factual there was kindness and empathy towards my situation and how scared but desperate I was to get things fixed. A few days later I'm in for a 4 hour marathon to get my smile back. While I still have a lot of work to go, the immediate results have left me shocked. I have a smile again, and it's better than ever... I can take a bite of a sandwich, I can smile at clients, heck I can kiss my wife without shame! Not only am I over the moon with the initial work, I think it's broken my lifelong fear of dentists. Whole procedure conducted with the utmost skill and good humour by Dr Gilbert, with no pain at all - so impressed. Fantastic experience: We were referred to Dr Stehbens for some major dental work. My daughter, was very nervous about the needles and the whole process, on top of having a bad experience with our previous dentist, was instantly put at ease by Dr Stehbens friendly, humorous manner, and by Shaleen's care and thoughtfulness. She especially loved being able to choose a Netflix show and having a weighted blanket on her lap throughout the procedure! Dr Stehbens is obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about his work and picked up on some issues that had been overlooked by our previous dentist. He also took the time to educate us on how we needed to deal with these issues moving forward, and made sure my 13 yo daughter also understood so that she can take responsibility, without lecturing her. Myself and my whole family will all be going to him now as he has quickly established rapport and trust with us. Also the waiting room is so relaxing and beautifully decorated! I have no doubt we are in very good hands with the team at Westlake Dental and I'm so glad we found them.

Fantastic experience: I have just started using Westlake Dental and was very welcomed by Shaleen and Dr Gilbert. They got me in quickly for an emergency appointment and on my second visit fitted me in when I took the appointment date down incorrectly. They have been very accomodating and helpful with organising some major dental work for me. It’s also a lovely calming atmosphere, which is not something you find regularly at the dentist. Dr Gilbert explains everything well and is a gentle but knowledgeable dentist and Shaleen goes the extra mile to make you feel at home and offers valuable knowledge. Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience getting a dental implant recently at Westlake Dental. Gilbert explained every step of the process and made sure it was an easy and pain-free procedure. I really appreciated Westlake Dental's efforts to ensure the highest standard of hygiene to minimise any risk of infection. The surgery looked like a scene out of the TV series Dexter with every surface covered in plastic - but resulted in a pain-free, infection-free procedure. In contrast a friend went to a different dentist for the same procedure and he had to take a week off work due to an infection. Throughout the implant procedure, Shaleen ensured that I was comfortable with a weighted blanket, reassuring words and a movie. Shaleen also provided a quote upfront for potential out of pocket costs after applying my private health fund rebate. I highly recommend Westlake Dental.

After a traumatic experience with a previous dentist, I came to Dr Gilbert to get urgent dental care as I was in horrific ongoing pain. He also gave me a recommendation on making my porcelain veneers look more natural, which I had done today and could not be happier. He gave them shape and they now look more natural and feminine. Negative experience: Awful, I had an appointment with them and took sick leave from work. Half an hour before my appointment, they text and canceled my time. Didn’t call me back after to set new time. Don’t respect your time.

Fantastic experience: Dr Gilbert and Shaleen went above and beyond for me. I hadn’t been to a dentist in 20years and had a tooth I thought needed to be removed. Shaleen made an appointment for me within a day of making contact. Dr Gilbert managed to save my tooth. I also decided to have Invisalign treatment and am absolutely ecstatic with the end results. Dr Gilbert’s “dad” jokes are questionable though but it’s the only reason I continue going back Beautiful people who treat you like family. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Westlake Dental have twice now helped me in an emergency at a moments notice. One extraction and just this weekend an old cap fell off my front tooth and I immediately looked like a hill billy. All the night before my daughters second birthday party!!! They fixed it straight away after hours and it looks great. You can barely tell it's there!! Gil and Shaleen are prompt, reasonably priced, really good communicators and lovely people. Fantastic experience: After visiting an orthodontist and being quoted an eye watering amount for Invisalign, I stumbled across a post on my local community page about a free consult with Westlake Dental. I went along for a second opinion and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in the door, Dr Gilbert and Shaleen have been so incredible, spending the time to talk through my options and working with me to come up with a plan I was happy with, while also saving significant treatment time and few thousand dollars in the process! On top of that, Dr Gilbert and Shaleen go above and beyond to make you feel at ease in the chair, and Dr Gilbert was the first to successfully clean my 6 year old sons teeth! My entire family now see Dr Gilbert and Shaleen and I wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone looking for a dentist who actually cares for their patients.

Negative experience: Unfortunately really disappointed in my experiences with this practice after seeing amazing reviews on the local community page. Firstly, the dentist donned latex gloves when I’d advised I am allergic. He claimed that it’s usually the powdered variety that people are allergic to - I’m pretty sure I know my allergy best, and it’s all kinds of latex!! Had to ask him to please change his gloves to nitrile before attending to my mouth! Had an OPG done (with my name not written on the referral…) and was told I’d be contacted with the results, this never happened. I rang multiple times and was assured the dentist would review it and let me know. Still haven’t heard the results from my OPG after several weeks. It shouldn’t be up to me to chase results. Very, very disappointed in the poor service provided here :(

I stumbled across Westlake dental when I required an urgent appointment causing me great anxiety. When I arrived I was instantly put at ease by such a warm welcome by Shaleen, and desire to assist me with my problem. The clinic is very neatly presented and very calming compared to other very clinical environments. I was instantly comfortable and knew I was in good hands with Dr Stehbens, he was professional, genuine and enjoyed a good laugh! I knew exactly was was happening for me and the best treatment going forward. He takes time to provide the education to allow you to make an informed decision about your care. I also appreciated knowing exactly what was to be expected financially as time is also taken to explain cost of each procedure no matter now big or small. Overall, they were caring, professional and provided a great dental experience for our family.

Fantastic experience: I have been to multiple dental practices throughout my adult life and none have even come close to how absolutely amazing they are at Westlake dental ! They are so quick, exceptionally thorough, totally professional and super friendly and funny !! It’s a husband and wife duo and it’s such a family friendly place. Beautiful artwork on all the walls and very clean and sterile environment. I recommend everyone I know to visit this practice ! Even if you are dental phobic, you wouldn’t be after visiting this practice.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Westlake Dental highly enough! I’m very picky with who I see for dental treatment, due some unpleasant experiences with other dentists in the past. But but my experience with Dr Gilbert Stebhens and Shaleen was fantastic. The surgery is beautiful, well presented and relaxing. Dr Stehbens is open and honest regarding treatment options and upfront about costs to be incurred. Shaleen is friendly, welcoming and so helpful. On my first visit I took my 10 year old daughter for her check up, Dr Stehbens and Shaleen had everyone laughing and my daughter had a really pleasant experience. Recently I started what is going to be long process restoring previous dental work. I was pleasantly surprised that following one major tooth restoration I experienced no pain at all! I am so glad to have Westlake Dental as our new family dentist

Fantastic experience: Recently had a multiple wisdom tooth extraction and was very impressed with the quality and efficiency of the services carried out. As expected going in to the wisdom tooth extraction I was scared and nervous from hearing experiences from previous patients however, the process during was painless and actually unnoticeable. It was over before I knew anything had happened. There was minimal pain following the days after and I was actually back to work the next day. Was very happy with the professionalism and expertise of Westlake dental. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: From the very first phone call they made me comfortable and I was actually willing to go in, most of the other dentists I had called didn’t show the care or understanding. For years I’d let things deteriorate because of a fear which I now no longer have. I could not recommend Dr Gilbert enough, he is not only a master of his craft, but his personality and humour made me feel like I was talking to a friend. If you want a dentist that not only does world class and exceptional work, but is also fairly priced, I highly recommend. I would travel across the country just to use them again as my dentist. Fantastic experience: I had a to have a tooth extracted and it was not going to be easy given that it was broken and had splayed roots. Westlake Dental did a great job and three weeks later I have had no ill effects. Will recommend them to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Westlake Dental and Dr Stehbens enough. Suffering excruciating pain, I went in to arrange an appointment, but noting the pain I was in, Dr Stehbens got me into the chair right away, identified the issue, explained it so I could understand and I was booked in for the following day for the procedure. They give you piece of mind with fears and make you feel at ease. Westlake Dental will also go out of the way to ensure you are doing well post, as well as very responsive to any questions or concerns. Westlake Dental truly care for your wellbeing.

Fantastic experience: I went to Westlake Dental after moving to a new area and I was absolutely amazed at the hospitality. Shaleen and Gilbert went out of their way and booked me in last minute.
