Fantastic experience: Nothing but exceptional service every time I come in to see the team at Ivy Dental previously known as Toombul Family Dental. Dr Emily is so wonderful and takes extra care with all her patients. I have been seeing her for years now because she is the best!!! Would highly recommend. The team here are fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I found out that I needed either a root canal or to have that particular molar removed due to a nasty cavity underneath the gum line caused by an impacted wisdom tooth pushing against it. The first place I went to was all for a root canal and yet the x-rays showed there was little root to work with and it would be unlikely to last long at all if the root canal even took. So then I was having dinner with my partner at Neon Ramen and got to talking with the owner who also is an owner of this dental practice. Without pushing for a sale or such, Bella explained to me how root canals are sometimes pushed as the answer when the dentist knows well it won't last long at all. Many people will take your money so happily even if it's not the best outcome for the patient. So I sent my x-rays to Ivy Dental and the team there had a meeting to discuss how best to proceed for me and consensus among the dentists and dental surgeons was that my tooth was better off being removed. My first major tooth loss as a middle aged man and it was a big hit for me emotionally. I could have easily been talked into wasting an extra $5k Come extraction day (Monday just gone) I was confident that I was in good hands but I started tearing up anyway as the procedure began. Dr Jenn and her assistant were not just proficient and efficient but also very kind and reassuring. I'm very grateful for the wonderful way they treated me during the removal. Price was very good and especially good given the time they spent making sure I was confident and informed all the way. A few days on and I'm healing so much faster and with bugger all pain or swelling. Amazing because the roots of this toot were enormous. Can't recommend Ivy Dental more highly. These guys deserve your business!

He is thoughtful, kind, professional, does perfect work and never over charges or does things that don’t need doing. He talks you through everything and helps you understand it. I used to be a dental assistant (a long time ago). I trust Victor implicitly. The dental assistants and admin team members are all fantastic! Prompt, helpful and solve problems if you need help. Fantastic experience: Can’t rate Ivy dental highly enough, went in yesterday for a deep filling right at the back of my mouth and never had such a gentle dental experience completely painless. Fantastic experience: After putting off going to the dentist for over 7 years due to my long standing fear of dental procedures, a painful wisdom tooth in the end made me book an appointment of my own volition for the first time in my adult life. Dr. Cyril Liu was very understanding of my fear of dental procedures, and was incredibly accommodating and patient with me and thorough with all of his explanations. In the end, the troubling wisdom tooth in question needed to be extracted, and contrary to my nerve-wracked expectations, it was a completely gentle and pain-free procedure. In appointments following I also received a filling, which again was gentle and completely pain-free, and both of these procedures were inexpensive. He is the best dentist I've ever been to, and thanks to him my fear of dentists is now a thing of the past. I'm also now gladly back into the habit of getting regular check-ups and cleanings. The assistants and receptionists are genuinely some of the nicest I've ever dealt with, both on the phone and in person when you see them at the front desk. If you have a fear of dental procedures like I used to have, this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: These guys are amazing. I booked them accidentally too. I had been to a previous dentist in toombul and I'm so glad I made the mistake. If you've ever seen Dr Sandra Lee on Facebook, they have similar 'bedside manner'. So polite. I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction and honestly had the best time. They have a great team. They were friendly, courteous and went above and beyond. I saw doctor Emily Chin and her assistant. Can not recommend highly enough. Will definately go back. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The reception is beautiful too. Full on plants and a great vibe. A+ all round

I was so nervous and anxious of going to the dentist as I’ve had scary past experiences, but Bella and her wonderful team made me feel so safe and comfortable! Fantastic experience: Got me in for an urgent splint fitting. The whole process was seamless and informative seeing that I was in a lot of pain and unable to eat due to TMJ. The splint has done wonders for my pain level and the quick turnaround was very much appreciated. Great staff who genuinely care about their clientele ❤

I had come to the dentist because part of my jawbone had broken off after my wisdom tooth removal (from a different dentist) and when I was in the chair Cyril and Kayla were very friendly, accomodating and explained everything they were doing. From the waiting room with a PlayStation for the kids to the friendly staff and hygienic practices, to the dentist Austin, that was so gentle with his work that I actually fell asleep in the chair while he did a root canal! I normally get anxious when visiting the dentist but Dr Cyril Liu was very gentle and able to tame my teeth. Now I feel more confident with my smile and can't stop smiling. Fantastic experience: The staff at Toombul Family Dental are all friendly and lots of fun. They are very caring and I felt very comfortable getting a filling and clean done on two separate visits. Emily was super efficient and made sure I felt ok the whole time. I was entertained listening to them talk during my procedures and only wish I could have got in on the conversation was it not for the tools in my mouth The owner Bella even gave me free whitening for having had 4 kids and finally taking time to do somethings for myself - a perfect smile They also have helped my husband with emergency dental work and squeezed mhim in even when they were fully booked. Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing staff, taken great care of both myself and my partner for a while now. Always professional and compassionate, I have never been so well looked after by a dentistry. Went well above and beyond more than anything I could have asked for. My partner needed an emergency procedure and she was booked in within 24hrs and now she’s recovering well. They made her feel completely safe and helped her through the whole procedure. The second you walk in to the dentistry you feel so calm, the decor is so relaxing, welcoming and beautiful. Would highly recommend. If I could give 6 stars I would, will never go anywhere else again.

Fantastic experience: Toombul Family Dental has impressed me beyond words! Dr Emily and Bella are incredibly lovely, kind and went far beyond any expectations I had. I had not intended on having anything done on the day I visited with my son for a sports mouthguard impression but I ended up getting some imaging done. They went out of their way to accommodate me... they are a preferred supplier for my health fund so it didn't cost me anything for the visit. After seeing dentists all my life I have never visited without it costing a lot of money out of pocket. The reception staff were so lovely and helpful, it was such a positive experience. The practice is very clean, welcoming and comfortable with a Playstation for the kids while they waited for me (can't get kids into a dental practice, now I can't get them to leave!). Wow. So so so impressed. Highly recommend them!!! Thank you Bella and the team, you have just found regular customers in us!

I did observational placement for my degree at the clinic for close to a week and they took time out of their busy schedule to make sure I learn, stay comfortable and feel welcomed while I was there. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend a better dental clinic. This places goes out of its way to make sure you are comfortable, satisfied and happy before, during and after each appointment. Have never left disappointed and feel they are providing the best service possible. On another note, Bella creates the most beautiful sporting mouth guards. Not only are they a customised fit, they are also affordable and come in many designs/colours. She made the process seamless, and quite enjoyable. Have never had a more comfortable and tight fitting mouthguard. It remained intact, and did not budge all game. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Bella, Candy and Dee highly enough. I have a severe phobia of the dentist and hadn't been in 14 odd years. Dee fixed the first issue and then Bella and Candy stayed back with me until 10pm on a Tuesday night to fix the second issue. Dee didn't mess around which made me relax (I was almost hyperventilating when I sat in the chair). She got straight too it and didn't give me time to worry (which was exactly what I needed). When the second problem presented itself 5 days later after 4 phone calls Bella told me to come straight in and they were just amazing. Bella and Candy were so kind, thoughtful (thank you for the stress ball Bella). They were so patient and calming. Bella arranged all of my post visit referrals and contacted me the next day to check on me and follow up on the referral. Thank you so much Bella, Candy and Dee. I may still not see you often but I am no longer terrified to visit.

Fantastic experience: After not being to a dentist in 6+ years I decided to give the team at Toombul Family Dental a try, knowing that I hadn't taken care of my teeth for some time the team and in particular Dr. Emily took impeccable care of me. Fantastic experience: I had three fillings done by Cyril and Bella. I’m usually very anxious at the dentist but I became very relaxed in the chair due to their very caring natures and their professionalism. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't seen a dentist in more than a few years, So naturally I was very embarrassed and a little afraid of what i could face,. But within a short while of meeting Dr Austin my fears were extinguished. He gave me a great understanding of the state of my teeth and the future needs both from the practice needs and of my own necessary upkeep to healthier teeth. His assistant Bella was also very helpful, eased any of my concerns and was very professional in the way they looked after me. If your looking for a dentist, then I'd highly recommend Toombul Family Dentist.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to a dentist in 5 years and was very worried. I took a referral from a friend and went in for a checkup/clean and a sports mouthguard impression . I had Cyril and Bella assisting. It was the best dental experience I have ever had and will be back for sure. Cyril was exceptionally careful with my sensitive teeth and was extremely knowledgeable. X-rays were very quick , and Bella was amazing too with the mouthguard and photos. Super kind, professional and kind on the wallet for those like me without insurance. 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic experience: I had Cyril & Bruna for my check up & clean. Not only were all the staff friendly, their explanation and way to make you feel at ease was amazing. They are very professional at what they do, my teeth are feeling super clean and polished. The place it’s self is presented beautifully, with live plants in the waiting room and super clean. It’s very welcoming. Kid friendly too. I would recommend this dentist to anyone who needs anything done with their teeth, especially people who may be a bit nervous when they visit a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I went to Toombul Family Dental to have my front tooth repaired, It has been repaired multiple times in my life but never to this quality. I am beyond happy with Bella the Owner and Emily my dentist, they worked together professionally and would laugh and make jokes along the way. It's always fantastic to see people who truly have a passion for what they do, and that passion shows in the exceptional work they do. I will be recommending them to anyone who asks for a good dentist and I have never reviewed something on Google to this day and I made an account just to do so. Fantastic experience: This practice goes above and beyond with their service! I cannot recommend them enough! As someone that has always been fearful of the dentist, I am so glad I have found somewhere that is so caring and helpful, with staff that go out of their way to make the experience amazing. I am in the process of correcting many years worth of missed dental appointments, and can’t praise this practice enough for their professionalism and stress-free experience - I even make a 1+ hour commute to see the team here! Toombul Family Dental is clean and modern, with a beautiful homely feeing - I will recommend this practice to anyone!

Fantastic experience: My dad went to this practice and was absolutely blown away at the service provided. The male receptionist went out of his way to bring my dad (who was lost in the shopping centre) in to the surgery and was courteous and helped with his anxiety. The female dentist was super lovely and gentle and explained the cost of the work and answered all his questions about what was going on. It was apparently a pain free experience for the first time in his life. Thank you so much for helping and for treating my dad with respect.

Fantastic experience: If you need a sports mouth guard this is the place to come! This is the second year we have bought our son in to get a customised mouth guard for the footy season. Emily is amazing and takes the time to make sure she gets the best impression possible to make the best mouth guard. Our son gets so excited to pick whatever colours he wants and can’t wait to pick it up. Both mouth guards we have gotten from here stay in perfectly and don’t pop out while in play. Straight from the boys mouth “this is the best mouth guard ever”. Definitely recommend taking the time to see Emily and team and get a mouth guard that fits to perfection - and all for $50. Fantastic experience: I wanted to send a message to express how greatful and blessed I am to receive such great service last night for our son. Your practice surely does live up to the name and most importantly shown the true meaning of FAMILY. Family is very close to my heart and living away from home and our parents , I’m comfortable to know my child will be looked after when attending your practice. As I mentioned last night, I was very anxious for my child to be seen as dental visits are not always pleasant , however you all made my childs visit one of the best!
