Negative experience: Previous visitor to whitehorse and my medical certificate was declined. Do not recommend this option as they responded very late around 10pm to ultimately decline it. Do not take this option if you need a medical certificate for work.

I stopped by Whitehorse Medical Centre, where I've previously been inoculated promptly, painlessly, and easily. They were able to see me then and there. Less than 30 minutes later I continued my lunchtime walk, inoculated, and having sat in reception 15 minutes to be sure I had no negative after effects. Full marks Whitehorse Medical Centre. Fantastic experience: All doctors and their Staff members at this Medical Centre are very nice and caring.Doctors are all very knowledgeable with multiple specialties (GP,Surgical,Obstetrics,Pediatrician, Skin condition spec.etc..) and always treating you with utmost respect and care.Sometimes you need to wait little longer for your appointment, but once you are being seen, all your issues are addressed and all your questions are answered.Today as I waited they had all attended to an emergency patient who came in with serious condition and they stabilised him and organised ambulance to transfer him to Hospital. What an Excellent and beautiful care from all the Staff involved.And if you need to wait 10 more minutes to be seen, you never know who was there treated before your appointment and possibly saved life by these Beautiful Doctor and all their Staff members. All my Family is so grateful to all the Staff members at this Clinic for their Excellent and beautiful support and care for over 20 years. I would strongly recommend this Medical Centre to anyone

In a past life I was a medical professional with extensive experience in all areas of health, and an educator particularly in the assessment of patients/clients/residents. However I don't have the knowledge of my GP. She also explains everything to me, and thankfully found a number of diseases that are now well managed. Thank you for your care.

Fantastic experience: This is a great medical clinic. It doesn't look fancy from the outside, but the reception staff are very kind and caring. The medical staff are excellent - I saw Dr Jane Sheedy and she was very good. She was not only very competent and knowledgeable, but very caring. She didn't rush me in and then out the door, as happens in some clinics, but seemed to have the time and be interested in looking after me properly. It was great.

Positive experience: Whitehorse Medical Centre is a great clinic with amazing doctors. I see Dr Peter Sanad and he is a phenomenonal GP. He has worked with me so diligently and always gives time and care to his work. Due to past history, I really fear going to the doctor, but Dr Peter has been great at understanding and working with this. I have always been treated really well at this clinic and appreciate their health care support a lot.

Negative experience: I travelled two hours to see Dr Dan Tran, hoping for a thorough and professional consultation, but I was left extremely disappointed. During the appointment he openly admitted that he doesn’t know much about women’s health, which was concerning in itself. Despite this he prescribed medication without offering any clear diagnosis or explanation of what might be causing my symptoms. To make matters worse, when I mention my concerns, he suggested I should’ve booked with a woman instead – despite him being a doctor! I also never received a callback with the results of my test, and to top it off, I was charge $105 for an appointment where I felt my health concerns were completely disregarded. The entire experience felt rushed, impersonal, and unprofessional. I would not recommend Dr Dan Tran for any women’s health issues, as I left feeling more frustrated, unheard, and disrespected than when I arrived.

Fantastic experience: I had an allergic reaction on my ears, face, and body for a few days. It wasn't terrible, so I didn’t think to see a doctor. However, this morning I woke up with my face swollen like a pufferfish! Terrified, I called my GP's clinic, but he was unavailable. In a desperate attempt, I searched for nearby clinics and found that Whitehorse Medical Centre had several slots available for today. I booked an appointment with Dr. Stephen Wales at 9:00 AM through HotDoc. I arrived at the clinic at 8:55 AM. The receptionist, a middle-aged lady, was very nice; she took my details and asked me to wait. A few minutes later, Dr. Wales came out to call my name. He asked me many questions about the allergy and thoroughly examined my face, eyes, and body. He quickly prescribed an oral medication and two creams. Throughout the appointment, he made me feel comfortable and reassured. I went to the pharmacy next door and waited about 15 minutes for my medications. At home, I took the tablets and applied the creams at 9:30 AM. After that, I felt the swelling quickly reduce, and the itching stopped. Now, at 8:00 PM, as I write this review, I feel almost normal. This is incredibly important to me because I have a significant meeting tomorrow morning. I would like to thank Dr. Stephen Wales and the Whitehorse Medical Centre for their excellent service!

Negative experience: It is outrageous that a 5 minutes Telehealth phone call can result in a $95 charge!!! There was no prescription provided and absolutely no ‘consultation’ of any benefit at all. Hence having to pay $95 without Medicare rebates allowed should be investigated by Medicare as a fraud to the system!

Negative experience: Most of the GPs at this practice are absolutely lovely but to advise caution because I recently had a very horrible experience. I had a phone review for my little one as we were away at the time, but instead of receiving any help or reassurances, I was berated, judged and received a mansplaination that went for 5 to 10 minutes. I was also then billed 95 dollars for this unpleasant conversation as we didn’t realize it was 1 week past her last in person review.

Negative experience: 1 year and 1 week between appointments for my daughter and they have refused to give us a Medicare rebate for a 5min phone call telehealth appointment. Will be changing Gp's. Terrible customer service

Fantastic experience: The team at Whitehorse Medical is fantastic! The doctors are highly educated, and they never make you feel rushed.

Fantastic experience: Not sure about the negative reviews as my experience has always been positive at this clinic, having been visiting for the past two or three years. I found the receptionists to be fine, they’re not friendly but they’re not rude or cold either. I’ve only visited Dr Julie Wang, but I can say she is one of the most kind and understanding GPs I’ve seen (and probably why I continue to visit this clinic). She is very easy and comfortable to talk to, never dismissive and she is knowledgeable and has provided me with a lot of useful information and guidance in the past. While this clinic is a bit more pricey than others I find it to be worth it based on the care I’ve received!

Negative experience: My doctor is excellent. However, reception is stone cold and quite frankly rude. Not great for the front facing area of the business. Is there a rule against smiling and being friendly or something?

Negative experience: Most of the GPs are terrific (in particular Dr Peter Sanad), but the female reception staff are among the most consistently rude people I’ve ever encountered and were if not for the GPs we’d leave. The way the pandemic was handled was atrocious and saw my child misdiagnosed and not treated (by another GP) and I was treated appallingly when trying to advocate for my child. All this time later, nothing had changed- Reception need some service skills and empathy training and understand they are the face and brand of the business because you’re made to feel so small and like we’re a bother. I also don’t understand in what world ‘after hours’ is before 10am and from 4pm when standard business hours is 9-5, other than to assume this is a money grab from management to charge you more. So beware as to make an appointment within their limited business hours will typically require you to take time off work, or pay the price. As soon as our wonderful GP leaves this practice we will not return but until then we’re held hostage by the fact there are so few brilliant GPS to choose from and trying to be grateful we found him at all.

Fantastic experience: The Whitehorse medical centre is a great medical centre - all the doctors there are very good, my main doctor is Dr May Loh and she is fantastic, she has helped me significantly with my health and improved my life. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My first 2 times there was a positive ! Ladies at the reception were great . I highly recommend Dr. Tristan Htut, he is very attentive, quality and friendly, compassionate, he is worried about some words I don't understand, he will use Google Translate when I am not sure Whether the medicines I need to take are available at home, he will google pictures to show me, give me referral letters and send my referral to imaging associates and physical therapy clinics .

Negative experience: The doctor that saw me was highly knowledgeable and helpful on my query. However this was the only good part of my attendance, upon arriving at the clinic I attended the reception desk and checked in. A little later I overheard another patient ask how long before their session with my doctor and was told they were 45minutes behind. On this I waited a little longer and eventually asked staff how long to my appointment where the first thing said from staff was "Did you come to the desk when you arrived?". The staff member had forgotten to confirm my attendance during check-in and they had marked me as a no-show, to this no-one apologized for the error. A further 30 minutes of waiting for another doctor who had vacancy was required and at the completion of it, there was not a single apology.

Negative experience: As others have mentioned - extremely dodgy dishonest billing system. Had to pay full $90 to get a referral for a blood test despite booking during their specified bulk bill hours. Then received a automated message that Dr Kolin wanted me to book a 2nd appointment to discuss the blood test results with me. The receptionist said she could not confirm cost for this follow up appointment. Leaving me with no choice but to see Dr Kolin again - and pay another $90 during their stipulated bulk bill hours - for results which showed no issues/concerns. Massive rip-off of a clinic - beware.

Negative experience: I won’t go there again. Asked to be there 10 minutes before my daughter’s appointment and waited for over an hour to finally see the doctor. Not everyone has 1 1/2 hour free time on their hands to wait around clinic. I understand the doctor can be busy, but time management is also an important skill for good doctors.

Negative experience: Horrible place, the staff are rude and there strict policy of any COVID related symptoms even with a negative COVID test forced me to exit the building. I'm extremely sick and need to see a doctor and this is how I'm treated shows U the lack of car and compassion this clinic has for its patients.
