Fantastic experience: I had doctor Vibha Datta and she was incredible. She was so kind, careful and gentle with me. I might be 40, but I have a LOT of previous trauma from dentists. I am honestly no longer scared to go to the dentist now! I had 1 old black/grey filling drilled out and replaced. Then I got 3 other smaller ones. I felt so safe and cared for.

Negative experience: I don’t even want to leave a one star rating.. they deserve a zero!! Rudest people ive ever met in my life. They began to tell me how i should parent better, and then wouldn’t even try to check my daughter’s teeth as she was moving just a little bit. I explained she’s stubborn and is only 4 years old. They said it had nothing to do with her being stubborn. How would they even know?? Useless dentist!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mohammed Barakat was very friendly and explained everything well. I am bringing my whole family to this dental clinic ☺️

Negative experience: Wish there was negative rating, no transparency about charges whatsoever, poor service, not proper clinical diagnosis of tooth pain by dentist. Would never go and not let others visit this place. Big improvement needed in every aspects.

Fantastic experience: Extremely satisfied with the level of service and ease of booking an emergency appointment today for my Mum who had a bad fall. The receptionist who answered my initial call was courteous, professional and very understanding with my urgency to get my mum in. We were seen by Dr Michael Lau who was extremely thorough with his examination and easily explained the next steps and made recommendations to ensure my Mum was comfortable. She’s 80 years old and despite never visiting this clinic, she felt at ease with the friendly staff and Dr Michael Lau. Being a Sunday afternoon we were so glad this clinic was open. The clinic was tidy and very clean too. We went there as my grandson had to seek medical advice after a fall a few months back. His parents were also happy with the service. Thank you Dr Lau and staff for your wonderful attention to my Mum today

Negative experience: Avoid Dr Saadia Khan at all costs! She showed extremely unprofessional and rude behaviour towards my wife. I am appalled that she is allowed to have a job there still. Yelling at clients? How is this allowed?

Positive experience: Best teeth cleaning by Dr Kirti. Had trouble with my HCF card. Miss Ranjana was very helpful and happy to help me solve my problem. Service with a smile always.

Negative experience: Avoid this place at ALL costs — especially if you value basic human decency. I went to Pacific Smiles for the first time only because it was the closest dentist available. I had already seen the horrifying reviews, but figured I'd give it a fair chance. Biggest mistake. I was running 10 minutes late and called ahead to let them know — they assured me it was fine, i greeted Dr. Saadia with a smile and apologised for running late but had no acknowledgment from her. From the moment I entered her room , Dr. Saadia Khan’s behavior was absolutely vile. She treated me with blatant contempt, snapping at every single question I asked, rolling her eyes, and looking at me like I was some kind of burden and an idiot for even speaking. There was no professionalism — only pure arrogance and aggression. Eventually, I couldn't take her demeaning tone any longer and stood up to leave. That’s when she completely lost control and YELLED at me: “GET OUT!” Yes, she yelled. A grown professional woman yelled at a patient in distress — in a medical setting. Shaken and humiliated, I returned later with my parents to speak with the manager and Dr. Khan. I was clearly emotional and upset — in tears — and this woman sat there scoffing, smirking, and even mocking me and my parents by calling us "darling" in the most condescending tone imaginable. She flat-out denied her behavior even though her OWN assistant, who was present during the appointment, confirmed she had yelled at me and acted unprofessionally. I have the whole meeting recorded and will be taking action. Not a single apology. No empathy. No accountability. Just smugness and cruelty. I’ve never been treated with such cold disregard by anyone in a healthcare setting — or any setting, for that matter. This woman has absolutely no place in any caring profession. The irony of calling this place Pacific Smiles is disgusting. Shame on this clinic for enabling her. And shame on Dr. SAADIA KHAN for thinking this is how you treat people. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

Negative experience: Dentist Sadia Khan is condescending, unprofessional and disrespectful. Avoid at all cost. If there was a zero rating, that's what she deserves.

Negative experience: I’d give zero stars if I could. Dentist SAADIA is a completely unprofessional and rude. Told my sister to “get out” after she was 10 mins late. After being rude from the moment she walked in. Avoid this woman.

Positive experience: Very gentle and caring for my needs.

Fantastic experience: I had my 1st visit at Pacific smiles dental Melton and I was very well looked after. Dr Saadia was very gentle and explained everything she was doing really well. She made some recommendations at the end of my consult in a way that allowed me to decide on what to do rather than to feel pressured into going with what she had recommended. The staff at reception and the dental nurse were also very polite and lovely. Dentists make me nervous so thank you for making me feel looked after!

Negative experience: Called to make an appointment because my back tooth broke. It was in a bad way and I get that. The female dentist made me feel like scum because I wear a partial bottom denture. Gave me some antibiotics and refused to fix the rough edge on my tooth. I was flying overseas the next week and was expected to go with the sharp edge ripping a hole inside my cheek. . Absolute nightmare. They were happy to make a follow up appointment. Will never go back there. I wasn't asking for a miracle just a temporary solution till I got back.

Negative experience: After having my appt and trusting the professional that I had strained a ligament and to go on a liquid/soft food diet and it would heal itself. Fast forward 2 months the pain never went away only got worse, ended up at the dental hospital needing a root canal and being asked who diagnosed a strained ligament?? Stay away at all costs

Fantastic experience: Satisfied with Dr Barakat service. My family have been seeing him for 2 years and counting more. Good with teenagers providing valuable advice on growing teeth. Got my teeth deep clean using the correct pressure. No fuss.

Fantastic experience: I went for standard cleaning and it was great, they advise earlier for whatever can cover from insurance and whats not. So, it was great for me, not only that, Dr. Verumi did both my cleaning and my root canal, was amazing service and experience for me as I have been in pain and uncomfortable situation. I went to consult different providers but some won’t even provide me an accurate way to fixed my issues, they want to come although i have explained my situation and I know what is needed but of course they prefer for you to come cause thats mean your lock in, but Dr Verumi is really great and will provide you things you should be aware of after understanding your situation. She deserves this rating and will definitely come back with my whole family!

Negative experience: Bloody Sarah made me bleed bad. I don't like these new dentist post covid. Absolutely disgraceful. Basic clean means do what you can. Not with all this talking about history of teeth in the beginning of time lol

Fantastic experience: Great care

Negative experience: This dental practice sends a copious amount of emails, even when you don't have an appointment just to get you to use their clinic. I felt confused by the amount of emails thinking I was up for my yearly free clean with my insurance, so I went ahead and booked it without checking (my fault), and they charged me almost $400 for a clean and some x-rays, unreal! They recently called me for an upcoming appointment, which i cancelled due to this experience and stated i never want to use this clinic again and provided this feedback via the phone call, and yet I still got a text confirming my appointment. I will not put any further effort into providing my feedback to them.

Fantastic experience: Dr Vemuri was absolutely amazing. She walked me through every part of the process and checked in throughout. Gentlest dentist I've ever had. Amazing customer service too.

Negative experience: I was there for dental clean up and i mention my concern to Dr.Vibha and she said ok i said her my teeth are sensitive and she said no worries you geel any sensitivity and i wasnt felt. Then i come home afee clean up look my teeth into the mirror the stains were still there and i was very disappointed this was my first time there i have cleanup here very diso

Negative experience: After being called to make another appointment I queried why fillings cost $300 plus and the receptionist said oh that's the normal price. I queried who came up with the normal price of a filling because it's a joke. No wonder all the dentist have their nice Mercedes etc.. Think I'll honestly start going to the dental hospitals in Thailand where it's about $40AUD per filling and the dentists are trained in the royal British dental school so you know the work is going to be good.

Negative experience: Up until today I’ve enjoyed my visits to this particular dentist, however today I came in for a general clean and it was a complete traumatising experience. This business knows about my health conditions, such as epilepsy, low blood pressure etc and the dentist who saw me today placed me into the Trendelenburg position. This is whereby you’re laying flat on an incline (15 to 30° ) and feet above your head. This is extremely dangerous as it doesn’t promote good blood circulation or pressure. I had to cancel the appointment, as I felt I was going to pass out. I will be reporting this dentist to The Australian Dentist Council for her negligence and risk to my health.

Negative experience: I wasn't told until we were in the room that because my daughter is now 12 instead of costing $89 it was now going to cost $190, for the exact same thing. It's disgusting and unjustifiable.

Negative experience: Would give zero if I could. Twice now I have had two separate records under my name, despite asking for the records to be merged. Said it didn't matter because I don't have private health. All because they want to double up on x-ray costs. Refused to remove my tooth the first time resulting in an extreme infection on my return. The woman did not seem like she knew what she was doing. Kept calling senior dentist for confirmation then proceeded to snap the root after being told to take time removing it. Suddenly I have a room full of people working on me trying to get the root out. No communication as to what was going on. Finally after it's all out all the head dentist was concerned about was that is that it took an hour and a half and the next appointment is running late. Cost me $500 and I feel like my mouth has been butchered. Only to have the receptionist accuse me of not paying when I'm actually showing her my phone screen with payment accepted clearly stated on my app. I will never return and certainly won't recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Mohommad Barakat. I was so afraid to get my teeth extracted as it was my first time ever and I was shivering because of nervousness. But he made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure and asked me after minute if I am okay. His assistant even holded my hand to make me comfortable. The procedure was seamless and I did not felt any pain. I would recommend everyone to see Dr. Barakat.

Negative experience: Unprofessional, called us and accused us of not paying when we paid on the spot infront of the dentist. Also claimed the dentist did a thorough check and had pictures when trying to clarify their cost when in fact the pictures were from a previous appointment that was already paid for.

Was given false information upon booking, I was told my previous dentist I saw in January would fix my broken tooth for free as it should not have broken within 3 months. I had to wait until 3 days until her next available appointment and was told she would fix it for free. Went in on the day only to be told she hasn’t worked there since January and it will cost me to see a different dentist, plus they refused to fix the broken tooth by itself as she said I’d have to have a check up first which will cost me more money! But wait there’s more, then she proceeded to tell me if the new dentist has time it’ll be fixed today, when I specifically told them when booking that my broken tooth was the sole purpose for my visit. Omg I’m so angry, so not only did they lie and mislead me, but wasted my time and are that despicable and greedy that they were trying to get more money out of me and rip me off!!!! Shame on you for trying to take advantage of people, you’re what’s wrong with this world!!! AVOID THIS DENTIST!!!!!

Negative experience: Worse service I ever got in Australia from a dentist. I think she didn't even took a proper x-ray , she tried twice but didn't work, but charged for that. No examination even but charged for that. The whole process took less than 10 minutes to extract a tooth which was already loose for a year. But there is a good dentist as well I think his name is Michael.

Negative experience: Reception and management including the dentist are not very welcoming or supportive, they actually look like they can't really be bothered. They are rude, abrupt and very dismissive. Asking for payment seems to be main priority and management are rude. No conversation or intrest to see that you had a comfortable visit they push push push ,without any genuine concern and care factor is 0. TERRIBLE NOT RECOMMENDED.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to see Dr. Nita Kumari at Pacific Smile Dental - Melton branch, for my Dental care and treatment for quite some time now. She always makes me comfortable before starting the treatment and take me through the procedure so that there are no surprises. She is very soft and gentle and I always had a great feeling after getting the required dental care from her. I would highly recommend Dr. Nita if you need great care and genuine advice.

Negative experience: The worst Dentist in Melton. I will not recommend this to anyone. Went there to fix the sensitivity of my gums but instead refill a wrong tooth.Charged full price.

Fantastic experience: I am very satisfied with my experience with Pacific Smiles Dental Melton. I was treated by Dr Nita Kumari & she was just pleasant. She & her assistant made me feel extremely comfortable & although I was nervous going in to get a tooth extraction, she kept me calm by talking to me step by step throughout the procedure and made sure I was not uncomfortable. The reception there was also very welcoming too. I will be bringing children here from now on.

They said their private health machine was not working and that we would have to pay out of pocket and do a manual claim to our health insurance which we did, just to be told by our private health that pacific smiles dental machine was working and they have provided the funds to them. Which means they have received double payment from us and the private health fund yet won’t refund us the money we paid out of pocket on the day. Very unprofessional and DODGY! Would not recommend this place @pacific smiles dental, I don’t need a generic response to email you guys and a team member will be in contact! We only want our refund thank you!

Fantastic experience: Both my son and I have had appointments over the last week. The staff are amazing - so friendly and welcoming. The dentists we saw were both very professional, asked for any specific concerns (they even followed up on issues we had at another P.S location from a year back). Fantastic experience: I have a lot of sensory response issues with my mouth and trauma from mocking dentists but both experiences here were gentle and kind. Dr Mohammed gave me the kindest and most understanding dental experience I've ever had. The extraction itself was quick and he made sure I was comfortable and coping the whole time. Dr Vibha did my check up and clean, she was gentle and communicative about what to expect. The ladies on reception are amazing; so friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience: Had a toothache about 5 weeks ago. Was able to get an appointment next day. Everything that needed to happen for the problem was explained carefully. The initial problem was temporarily fixed whilst I waited for my next appointment. This is where 2 teeth had to be extracted and the professional manner in which all staff worked made the procedure easy. Recommend based on my visits.

Fantastic experience: I came in to the clinic Monday as i was suffering from severe pain in my right teeth and i told im travelling in a week.Both the dentist were very good Dr Sarah Ambareen who first examined and said me to go for root canal and save the teeth. Negative experience: Had an appointment this morning @ 11.30am for my daughter (original appointment was cancelled by them, this happens a lot) I rang at 11am just to confirm the time only to be told it was cancelled. No one had contacted me. I went in and was told this was probably because they were busy yesterday and it was missed. Ok if that is the case, call me today, the day of the appointment, you opened at 8.30am so someone could of contacted me. I have rearranged my morning for this appointment. If I hadn't called were they just going to tell me when we went in at 11.30am "oh sorry appointment is cancelled"? Extremely unprofessional

Negative experience: I am really disappointed with their customer service I had an appointment with them and they just made me wait over an hour because they just got an emergency. They should've say something rather than being rude and cancel my appointment because they didn't have any available time left

Negative experience: If you have private health then go to dental one instead. They have no gap on checkup, clean, X-rays and fillings where as pacific smiles don't cover fillings.

Negative experience: The way I was treated here made me never want to go back to a dentist again. The Asian guy was sweet to me until he seen my teeth. I lost my back teeth in a car accident but he treated me like trash when he seen them. There’s one sweet lady there.. do not go here if you want to be treated like a human. There is a reason their reviews are so bad.

Negative experience: On the 25th June 2022, I made 4 appointments to see a dentist on the 8th July 2022, thought great all 4 appointments one after the other, Fantastic.... to only get a text saying "just confirming your appointments tomorrow 05/07/2022 @ 4pm" So I called them back, explained that I was told our appointments were made for Friday 8th July. Courtney the reception tried to get our appointments changed, NO luck

Negative experience: The Worse experience I just had. Very bad customer service. I had an appointment, the ladie from the clinic call the day before my appointment to came in, and i told her that i have to drop my kids to school first, and she gave me 20min to get to the clinic, i got to the clinic 2-3min pass the time she gave and she said, I’m sorry the other customer’s is on way, and she said again to rebook for next week! And i said what about my original appointment ? She said oh I’m sorry someone’s already take that too! OMG!

Negative experience: Thought I’d give this local place a try and if was happy would be an ongoing customer. But what an absolute rip off it is. Was charged $30+ more on what it would cost at other dentists.

Negative experience: I had an appointment with Dr D Vatta in the 01/03/2022 and I found her to be very helpful and attentive. Next appointment I had with her on the 8th and on the day of the appointment received a phone call from PS and appointment was rescheduled to later that afternoon and it was with Dr Lee. When I walked into the room he asked what can I do for you? I was confused and replied by saying there should be X-ray with notes on my record and that I didn’t know what needed to be done. He went out and came back in. And said he needed to do a filling. Straight away he started by injecting my gum, I wanted to rinse my mouth there was no basin next to me nor did the nurse put a bip on or glasses. (Very unprofessional just stood there) When I asked to rinse my mouth Dr Lee got up and got one empty cup and one with water and said you can rinse your mouth. He asked the nurse to put a bip on and glasses. He did one filling and that was it. At reception I requested for the next appointment to be seen by the same dentist that I have seen on the first visit so there will be less confusion. Whilst I was speaking to the receptionist the other receptionist interrupted and said she doesn’t do vouchers anymore. I then agreed to see the Dr Lee and appointment was made on the 15/03/22. This morning had a missed call and a message was left from Courtney, I returned call and I was advised that there was no need for me to attend today’s appointment due to the fact that Dr Lee couldn’t find any reason for further treatment requirements and that they will send the bill to Western Health. I have had 4 vouchers provided by western health after being on a waiting list for more than 3 years. (Only used 2 so far) I found pacific smiles to be very discriminating towards me, it seems that just because I had vouchers that I wasn’t as important as a paying patient and it seems to me that this practice is only interested in making money and interested in paying patients. Receptionists are disorganised after texting for an appointment to confirm Yes/No, even though it is confirmed they ring and harass and treat you like second class citizen. I was considering to get my teeth cosmetically upgraded, after this biased degrading treatment I will go elsewhere. I will be contacting the Western Health regarding this matter and I will be going to get a second opinion from another dentist. (Whether further treatment is required?) I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone, I give ZERO rating!!!!!

Doctor vibha is an inexperienced doctor and is always in a rush ! She made my son go through gut wrenching pain . I am never going to forgive her for that ! Reception staff is awful to deal with ! Traumatic experience! I am going to take legal action against this place for putting my son go through such awful pain because you lack expertise ! My son is not a Guinea pig that you try your hands on him .

Fantastic experience: Dr Anastasia Kalantzis is honestly the greatest dentist I've ever seen. She was so insightful throughout the whole process and managed to correct a tooth that was giving me grief due to mistakes made by previous dentists I've seen. She's so funny, intelligent and made the entire process easy and fun, which is something I'd never thought I'd say about a dentist. For the first time in my life I actually feel the need to show my friends the work she did on a tooth I've had issues with my whole life, because it's just incredible seeing the before and after! I would recommend her to absolutely everyone and I'll definitely be coming back to see her!

Negative experience: That's the worse 0experience I have with this clinic. I have private insurance in my policy they provide me free check-up and clean and Xray twice a year. I went there for first time and the dentist Anastasia advice me that everything will be free for this visit as per health cover insurance . After I left the clinic found that they deduct $84 from my cover for item which I never had during my visit. Called them they hang the phone and left message they didn't call me back. Negative experience: Worse experience I just had. Very bad customer service. I called to book in an appointment. Specifically told the lady on the phone that I am for an extraction of a decayed tooth. I asked her of a price range and she informed me that if its a simple extraction it starts from $140 plus xray is $40 and depending on the situation we may have to do more than one xray. I was satisfied with that and booked in my appointment. Showed up on time. After looking at my tooth for 2min the dentist said she wont do it since they are only dealing with emergency at the moment due to stage 3. I was surprised, why did you noy tell me that at the time I was making an appointment! So I though ok I will come back after lockdown. On my way out the receptionist informed me that I needed to pay $60 for the "examination". I was gutted. Not only was I not properly informed at the time of the booking but also asked to pay for being sent back home! I told the lady at the reception that I am sorry I am not paying $60. She called her manager and the manager treated me like I was some kind of nuissance. Started raising her voice and called me things that I am not. When I told her I will contact Ombudsman and escalate this to her manager she looked even more angry and asked me to leave in the most disrespectful way "LEAVE NOW...OFF YOU GO". I am happy that I kept my calm and didnt raise my voice at all. Otherwise there wouldnt be any difference between us. I kept composed and at the end I will never go there again. Lucky I have voice recorder which has everything that she told me on the phone to verify what I said. She DID give me a price range on the phone (which she then denied when face to face) and she NEVER told me that they are only treating emergency cases....otherwise why would she have booked me in in the first place ...end of rant. Having said that though I have to be fair. Last time I had an extraction I had the best dentist ever, she was nice courteous and did an amazing job. This time the new dentist was like she did not want to do anything today. Perhaps it sucks to be working while everyone is at home. I dont know. Its just sad.
