Negative experience: Do you never trust in this place… they said that I had a few problems in my teeth, charging $5.000 and I had the x-ray with me and went to a different place with a cost of $1.238 …. This is RIDICULOUS.

Fantastic experience: My wisdom teeth needed to be removed due to severe pain, Dr. Deepa used her excellent technology to remove my wisdom teeth in less than 10 minutes, I did not feel any pain, I was very nervous before the operation, the front desk nurse gave me water to drink, which relieved my stress.Many thanks to PacificSmails Dental Corrimal.

Negative experience: My daughter is completely devastated! Just moved out of home and attending uni, she'd saved enough to visit dentist. She visited Dr S Sawhney on Friday 13/12/24 for a filling in her front upper tooth. Saturday 14/12/24 woke up to a chip in the filling. She was not given any after care instruction but as a precaution, only ate soft food in the evening. I insisted she go back asap. She explained the problem and was offered by Dr Sawhney to look at it, with no warning, Dr began grinding it. Then when asked, my daughter told her she wasn't happy as the tooth was now clearly shorter. The Dr said there was no point putting more filling on as it would chip again...why wasn't she informed of that the first time, before she paid?! I don't understand why she received terrible service when there are good reviews. Maybe the Dr couldn't be bothered because she told my daughter she couldn't do anymore until she came back from holidays. I'm appaled that the treatment of a young adult would be so lacking in apathy. My daughter is clearly not smiling about this service!!!

Fantastic experience: Saw Dr Deepa Purackel for the first time. An emergency Saturday visit was required because my wire holding my teeth from braces 14 years ago had come loose. In my opinion this was a complex problem that Dr Deepa PurackeL dealt with patiently and skilfully! She was reassuring the whole time and explained all the steps. I also had my teeth cleaned. Negative experience: Felt like we were imposing on them. The dentist seemed annoyed we were their last patient and just wanted to get it over with. The Receptionist was lovely though Definitely don't go there if you are uneasy about going to the dentist. It wasn't welcoming at all.

After gathering enough courage and reading several reviews, I chose Pacific Smiles Dental in Corrimal, specifically to see Dr Deepa Purackel. The experience matched my expectations perfectly. Dr Purackel was reassuring and ensured my comfort throughout. I have since revisited after my initial appointment and plan to continue regular visits for preventative care rather than corrective treatment.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a gentle, caring and knowledgeable dentist book with Dr Deepa Purackel at Pacific Smiles. I've referred friends and family to her as well. Great with little ones and if your not a fan of needles, she's got a few tricks to keep you calm. Will always her give honest an opinion on any treatment recommendations.

Negative experience: Terrible experience! Would never go back. Over a total of 5 dentist visit in the space of 1 month the dentist finally came to the conclusion that I now needed a root canal opposed to the half crown initially placed. This is the result of multiple fillings falling out, a wrongly sized crown that required sending back, a correctly sized crown falling out after been “permanently placed”. After offering to give a refund and replace the crown to then stating she is unable to compete the procedure and to find a different dentist. 5 afternoons off work, 3 temporary fillings falling out, a crown falling out and going from not requiring a full crown to now needing a root canal due to poor dentist work . Thankfully they gave me refund (after fighting for a full refund) and the manager was very apologetic.
