Positive experience: I will give 5 stars to Dr. Nuwanthi and Dr. Shahril. They are great. Dr. Nuwanthi is an excellent GP, she is thorough with her examination, very clear with her explanation, efficient with her time, caring and kind. Really sad to hear that she's leaving the Greensborough Medical One because it is tricky to find Women GP who are excellent and that you are comfortable with. The 3 stars because some of the other GP is a bit hit and miss, quite late a lot of times too (once I had to wait for more than an hour and had to cancel my appointment).

Negative experience: Reception staff are so RUDE! No compassion at all . They use to have such lovely receptionist especially Emily but has been gone awhile now . New Doctors are RUDE aswell . Original Doctors are lovely but they seem to be leaving or extremly rare to get in with , Dr Mikhail , Dr Souad , Dr Ismail (luckily he has appointments available last minute) and Dr Mouhammad(not there anymore unfortunally ) are all so amazing ,compassionate and understanding.But reception staff need to be taught to be welcoming and understanding .

Negative experience: Worst Doctors ever, Misspelled my daughters referal, then found out my daughter was to old to use the clinic for the referal, approach medical one about this to be told "any clinic can approve the referal" to top it off Medicare are not going to cover it as my referal is for another clinic if I could give 0 stars I would

Negative experience: I have been attending Medical One for quite a few years now and am not usually one to leave reviews. I have always had a good experience with the doctors here even when I am not able to see my usual doctor there (she is exceptional). Reception staff have generally been helpful as well. However, I’ve consistently had a bad experience with one receptionist with long dark brown hair down to her hips. I’ve given her the benefit of the doubt on the past few encounters - maybe she was having a bad day or something personal was going on. Every time I am greeted at reception she is impolite and her tone of voice is abrupt. This Morning, I spoke with her on the phone. I asked if I can book with my usual doctor on Monday. Her immediate response was “are you her usual patient?” and “she does not work Mondays”. I explained that I had a Telehealth with her on Thursday but the results were not ready. The next question from her was “well are the results even ready?” Which I had said I wasn’t sure about. I continued explaining my situation and that I was going overseas in the next few days. She interrupted me and put me on hold. I asked what my options were and if I could see another doctor and be bulk billed as my usual doctor bulk bills me. She told me “no we don’t bulk bill I can’t ask another doctor that”. Instead of offering a viable solution she only told me what couldn’t be done, which was: - “We don’t have a practice manager at all” - “I can’t access your results” (no one asked her to access results) - “I can’t ask doctors to bulk bill you” (Understandable, but some flexibility given the circumstances would have been appreciated) - “I’m not yelling at you don’t yell at me” (I wasn’t raising my voice) - “Don’t get frustrated” (being told no repeatedly is frustrating for anyone) Your tone of voice in person, over the phone and level of empathy matters - particularly when working in healthcare. People have a right to be welcomed without hostility. Maybe consider retraining this staff member on basic etiquette and communication. People call because they need help, some empathy and problem solving goes a long way.

Negative experience: I took my 17 month old daughter to this clinic and had to pay which i was suprised about but I was fine about it. The dr took a swab to see what virus my daughter had and said to book a phone appointment for a few days time for results. I asked if there would be a cost and she said no and I confirmed again it was free as test results over the phone and she said yes. On the Wednesday I actually recieved the test results by text (I wasn't aware this was going to be sent). Thursday the dr called and I told her I recieved them and we had a 1 minute conversation. On the Friday I was called and told I have a $74 bill outstanding for the phone appointment. I told the receptionist the dr said it would be free. She checked with the dr and the dr said there is a fee. Disgusting! Won't be returning.

Negative experience: Absolute rip off. Covid vaccination cost you $95. for both my wife and myself $190. Their process is first see a doctor which is mandatory. The doctor checks your blood pressure and gives the green light. then wait for the nurse to administer the vaccs but there is no nurse. The doctor walk out and decides to administer the vaccs herself. Process finish. you come out and present yourself to the desk and they hit you with the consultation fee of $95 each to see the doctor. What happened to Covid days where no doctor visit was necessary. What has changed from last year where in the same clinic the doctor walks out while you are in the waiting room and instruct the nurse to administer the vaccs. No charge. This must be part of government plan in helping with living expenses or is that the clinic's greed. I bet on the latter. by the way, the doctor was lovelly but cost us $190 to meet her.

Negative experience: Bria the receptionist wasn’t helpful and the tone of her voice was very discouraging. I’m also a medical admin/reception at a busy practice and I try never to sound so down over the phone. Maybe a customer service refresher course would do? If she needs a mental health day off, it would be best? So that she can come back to work in a better mental state?
Negative experience: You would expect that a travel vaccination specialist would be up to par on preventive malaria treatment but no.

Negative experience: Would not consider then a travel vax clinic. Drs advice was not thorough, a rushed consult and left feeling confused and no vaccines administered. Asked to pay a long consult fee even though we booked in for a travel consult. Very disappointed. last year your travel consult nurse went above and beyond and we were there for a good hour. She was up to date with everything and covered things like even clothing to wear and what mosquito repellent to use! Her consult fee was $55 and she gets paid less than the Drs! I was advised at time of booking it would be the same consult but slightly more. Definitely not the same consult!

Negative experience: Receptionist lady is quite rude and rough over the phone. It was our go to medical centre but it has been going downhill. $93 for a 2 minute phone consult. This is a day light robbery. Won’t be going back again.
Negative experience: Going downhill every experience! Had a Telehealth the other day, I’ve never been charged for a Telehealth particularly for one that went for 1 minute and resulted in a prescription for eye drops that can be given over the counter at the pharmacy. But I get a girl call me shortly after to collect a $94 payment. The clinic advertises Telehealth appointments right through the day but from my past few experiences the Telehealth appointment will always run very late so the time I book is irrelevant. I undertand there is a discretion for the doctors to charge a fee but he clinic is starting to feel like a cash grab. Service is getting worse and pricing is going up. I’m a regular patient who has reached a point where I don’t want to use the clinic anymore
Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Kasrah Taghian today at short notice and I was highly impressed with the level of care I received.., He was professional, thorough, empathetic and I left feeling that I all bases had been covered to ensure a positive outcome for my condition. His communication skills and explanation of my treatment plan were exceptional . I have no hesitation in recommending him to current and future patients of Medical One

Negative experience: Doctor was 30 mins late, took my blood pressure then tapped my back a couple times and said I was fine. Consultation lasted 5 mins and was charged 93 dollars Receptionist was rude and brief, texting away on the phone. Didn’t even engage me when I came in. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Negative experience: Came in for minor emergency that didn't warrant going to hospital. Reception staff acted robotic, no empathy whatsoever though they made sure to tell me they were a billed clinic. I can understand why there was no one in there when I was there. Best avoided.

Negative experience: I went to see Dr Kasra Taghian as I had a sore throat and had a cold for almost 2 weeks. On the way to the clinic I scratched my car as I only recently got my license and I have anxiety so I was very upset and crying because I had just been through a scary situation and I was scared to be late to the doctor as I needed to go as soon as possible. I was crying when I went into Dr Taghian’s office and told him I had issues parking and scratched my car. Instead of asking if I was okay or comforting me he just asked me why did i do that, as if i had planned to scratch my car? He then proceeded to ask more belittling questions such as why did I come to this doctors office instead of one closer to my house, why did I scratch my car? was It because i was rushing? I said yes I was trying not to be late as I was scared I wouldn’t be able to get in if I was late. And then he said well you didn’t need to rush we have lots of appointments why didn’t you just book a later appointment with someone else. “It’s not like you needed to see me specifically” As if I had known when I was booking my appointment at home that I was going to scratch my car on the way there….. No comforting words at all only belittling questions that were said in a way that made me feel stupid when I was already in a volatile emotional state and I thought that a doctor’s office would make me feel safe.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday was a tough morning where a bladder infection turned to kidney infection quite quickly for me. Saw Dr. Shahril and he was so calm, gave me the correct treatment and saved hours of excruciating pain waiting in the emergency. I can’t thank enough his precision approach to my condition yesterday. Positive experience: Two doctors I have seen are really nice and helpful and listen and think with you, one I saw a month or 2 ago however has no idea about different therapies and should not be in his profession. He is out of touch and was ready to send me to a neuro surgeon yet refused to try a chiro first as they only deal with backs, not the neck?? The chiro fixed the issue and no surgery is needed. Surgery should be a last resort, after you try other venues.

Fantastic experience: Im not one to leave reviews, but I had a wonderful experience at Medical One with Dr Taghian. He addressed my issues and explained everything thoroughly instead of leaving me scratching my head over medical jargon. He’s also the first doctor I’ve encountered with any personality! I felt heard and finally have received answers to issues I’ve raised with other doctors for close to a decade. Could not recommend Dr Taghian highly enough!

Negative experience: Drs never get back to you. Less than 1stars. EDITED to add: I emailed through my complaint after they responded to my first review requesting it- and absolutely no response from anyone and this is 2 years later, not even an acknowledgement of receiving the email. I was hesitant about naming (to give them a chance to explain), but I would never recommend anyone go to this Dr practice, and in particular don't see Dr Germaine Mikhail. She lied on her records about contacting me in regards to what ended up in a life threatening situation that required immediate urgent surgery.

Negative experience: This clinic has gone down hill big time! The receptionists used to be so friendly and helpful, unfortunately now they are rude and not willing to help at all. I’m not sure if there’s been a change in management; however there are never any dr’s on either so getting an appointment is impossible. EDIT: thank you for your response, the below details are correct. However my review is based on my experience with the clinic over the past 6 month's not just my most recent interaction. The service used to be really good, I always found your receptionists to go above and beyond, unfortunately that has not been my experience of late.

Negative experience: I googled 'Bulk Billing drs.' in my area, and this clinic came up, after reading the reviews, and also learning that they don't bulk bill, l won't even waste my time...

Negative experience: I chose Medical One - a private clinic, because I thought I'd receive better care than a public clinic. They were supposed to send my referral to a specialist - I followed them up three times. The last time I did, I gave them the correct fax number, then asked for them to call the hospital straight after to ensure they received it. The hospital still hasn't received it a week later! Thankfully the hospital is going to call Medical One directly to ask for my referral. Given the delay, I've now missed my chance for the midwifery program I wanted to go on. I'll be transferring my records to another clinic.

They spoke to the reception team who confirmed that they did send the referral to the fax number given, a minimum of 4 times. They called to check the correct fax number, which is the number that they have been sending it to, and resent it again this morning. Positive experience: I’m really struggling to find a good doctor that bulk bills. I booked an appointment with this clinic because online it said it was bulk billed. Had to cancel when I called to double check as they charge upward of $80 per appointment. The reception staff were kind on the phone so that’s a plus.

Fantastic experience: Well, where do we start.... From the moment you enter the doors of this clinic ,the calm relaxing environment surrounds you... Always a friendly professional greeting by reception staff, acknowledgement of those waiting in queue to be served. The team of doctors are fantastic, again a knowledgeable, professional,friendly team who are never too busy to spend the required time to meet your need. Always ready with words of encouragement and honesty for you to move forward with confidence. The nursing staff are awesome too. Though maybe young they are the most caring, friendly, knowledgeable team who give you A1 care every time. Whether it be for dressings, injections, care plans or anything else required by the doctors. The communication and respect the team have for each other is great. It is indeed a homely caring environment, lead by people that care.... for the welfare of their team mates, welfare of patients, and the information required with phone enquiries. Negative experience: My wife had gone to see a GP last week at this clinic as she has been unwell for 3 weeks. She saw Dr. Mandeep Sandhu. This doctor did not do a whole check up. Only took my wife's temperature and listened to her back. Very dismissive and uncaring. Then gave her a script for antibiotics and said 'it can't hurt'. Want a waste of money. Would not go to this doctor. She just dished out antibiotics without doing a proper check up. Easy money. My wife decided not to fill that script with feeling like just a piece of paper and spending more money. This doctor does not deserve one star. I'm very angry with this doctor.

Negative experience: If there was an option for 0 stars I'd choose that. I booked a face to face appointment via their online system for 9.30am, I arrived at 9.25am. Two other patients arrived in the time I was waiting for the same doctor, It is now 10am and no sign of the doctor (whispers from the reception desk mentioned she was onsite at 8.20am but disappeared without notifying anyone), the only information her waiting patients can gather is the talk happening at the reception desk. At 10.10am the doctor arrives & proceeds to the reception desk where she has a leisurely chat instead of going to her office to catch up on the backlog of patients. In this time the power goes out across the grid (which I understood is out of their control). The time is now 10.30am, 1 hour I have waited for an appointment which has wasted my time, If i wanted a 10.30am appointment i would have booked that time slot. When I speak to reception they tell me there is nothing they can do, they take down my details & tell me I will receive a tele health appt. They booked the appointment for 2pm with the same doctor, 2.10pm is when the doctor called (late again) the call lasted for 4 minutes & I was charged a full consult fee of $87 for 1 referral - which they did not send me until reception called back 40 minutes later to retrieve payment information. I do not recommend ever going here & if you must, do not book with Dr Sandhu, she will waste your time & your money. Why is it that when we respect the doctors by showing up on time they can't show us the same courtesy and charge late fees.

Fantastic experience: Got Covid-19 vaccine for my 5 year old and it was very smooth process. The nurse was very friendly and made my daughter extremely comfortable. To top that off, she offered lollies and stickers which eased half the anxiety. Then for the 15-mins wait she was given some colouring pages. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Was contacted by clinic that my X-rays were back and made appointment for review following day - arrived and was first rudelytold ‘I was so early for, appointment 1pm and arrived 12.45 - then receptionist verified my details to be followed with ‘ we are now private so do not bulk billed’ - my initial appointment was less than a week ago, then text requiring follow up appointment - at no time did anyone mention this change
Negative experience: Inexplicably the online appointment booking system has changed. It used to be so simple. Now it has forced me to create a new account, has none of my previous information or appointments saved and it tells me I can’t book online for the Greensborough location. What garbage.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the new system charging pensioners, had a phone consultation just for a script I usually have, got charged $71 I rang to speak to the manager told me they would ring back they never did .
Negative experience: After receiving good care at Medical One in another part of Melbourne and being happy to find a Medical One in this location, it has been an overall very disappointing experience at Medical One in Greensborough. 2 star review because I've never had a problem getting an appointment. Marina, the receptionist I dealt with last time, was friendly and helpful but other reception team members have acted like I'm inconveniencing them by being there. And the doctors? Simply not good enough. One doctor in particular is probably the rudest and most uncaring doctor I've seen in years. That doctor obviously doesn't care about the patient, didn't ask any questions to help them with a diagnosis and acted as if I should somehow be apologetic for daring to set foot in their office. Perhaps I should have apologised for interrupting the social media conversation that their phone kept signalling? Apparently I'm not the first to feel that way, either. On my last visit I observed that doctor "greeting" another patient and it seemed clear their poor bedside manner is a pattern for them. Another doctor I've seen is friendly enough but you'd think a professional physician might ask questions to help with their diagnosis; the only thing I got asked was "Is that all?" I'm not sure how that is any use to anyone. Also, asking me if I'd like a particular medication seems strange ... aren't you the doctor? I don't know if that medication is appropriate or not. You tell me. Dr Ismail would be the pick of the doctors, if I had to choose one. In my experience he's the only one that doesn't try to rush you out the door as soon as you sit down. I don't know if Melbourne Pathology on the ground floor is in any way associated with Medical One but this review in no way reflects my experience at Melbourne Pathology. The pathologist I saw there was simply great. The Medical One doctors could learn a lot from her. Otherwise, very unimpressed with Medical One Greensborough - we'll be looking to get better help elsewhere from now on.

Negative experience: This practice has really gone down hill since first started coming here after my doctor of 33years retired. Started seeing a great female doctor who had worked in the area for years. Unbeknown to me she was a bulk billing doctor, my good fortune, but now you can't get an appointment with her for weeks in advance, so the alternative is a new doctor. Today I needed a script , had a telehealth call and was charged a full consult, they called back to get my card details it was $81. The staff were not rude and just doing there job, but never ever have I been charged full consult for just a script. In future It will be cheaper to use the online script services at $19. This clinic seems to be about the dollar over the years, sadly. Thought I had found my new medical centre but am rethinking that move now.

Negative experience: I love my Dr at this clinic but she has been away for 3 weeks. Booked in to see her on her first day back but she was unwell and it would be another 10 days before I can see her. I have daily medication that I urgently needed and only my Dr can issue it. The staff were initially dismissive of the problem but eventually booked me in to see someone who could write a smaller script to tide me over. My appointment lasted less than 5 mins and was charged as a catagory B instead of a catagory A. I asked twice that it was a script renewal code and they didn't give a clear yes/no answer and I had to ask for a receipt to check it. I shouldn't have even been charged as I was booked to see a bulk billing doctor nearly a month in advance and I had run out of meds. I was exploited by a opportunistic doctor who I will be reporting to the Medicare integrity hotline for incorrect billing. Shame on Dr Shahril Ismail. Check your receipts!! Edit: oh, and their 'reduced fee for concessions card holders' is only $10.
Negative experience: Had an appointment today waited over an hour and 15! I asked the receptionist how much longer the wait would be to find out they hadn’t marked my arrival. I had my one year old with me and she was extremely unsettled as we were there for a long time. Absolutely disgusting service Dr was nice enough
Negative experience: The doctor I spoke to was rude and acted like she didn't care at all. Her attitude and dry behaviour was extremely off putting considering how nice I was trying to be.
Negative experience: Went to get my second B12 injection. Nurse did not sanitise her hands or put on gloves. Had bright red (pretty sure false nails). After she’d taken the vial from my hand she snapped off the top. I asked her was she going to at least put gloves on. She responded, “if you want me to”. I said,” that would be great”. Poor practice. Then I asked her to please put the injection in slowly (so to not hurt and not end up with a lump in my arm). She stated, yep yep yep. Obviously it annoyed her that I requested she wear gloves. Because she jammed the needle in hard and did it as quick as possible. I was annoyed but said nothing. I asked her name (so I knew to request for the next time not to be seen by her). Made my next appointment over the phone and requested to not see her. The receptionist said she’d put a note. But obviously spoke and explained there was an issue with the nurse to the practice manager. Then I’m at home minding my own business .... I had the practice manager ring me and rudely spoke to me. Telling me how she wasn’t happy with me and accused me of being rude to her nurse. At first I was justifying asking for the gloves. Then I realised I was being attacked. So for asking for the nurse to at least wear gloves seeing she didn’t sanitise. That was deemed as being rude. Pretty sure it’s standard hygiene practice. The practice manager was lecturing me on how wonderful her nurse is and talking down to me and chastising me. It was an absolute joke. I complained further and the practice manager back peddled making out she rang to see how I was. Lie!! She stated to me, I’m ringing to hear your side of the story. Like I work there and she was in charge of me. Totally unacceptable and totally uncalled for. Umm.... I’m a patient not an employee. Honestly the practice manager is rude, a control freak and a liar. I feel sorry for those that report to her. And I feel sorry that the director has no idea what goes on at his practice. Anyway to top it off I have been told that as the breakdown with the staff I can’t go there anymore. So management reward those that do the wrong thing. Who lie. And don’t follow safe practice. And also ring patients and harass them because they can. Happily going else where.
Negative experience: Worst GP in the local area. Has a revolving door of very young and inexperienced doctors, that are regularly late by up to forty minutes. I persevered with a few doctors here for a about two years, but have now resolved to just make the trek to my old neighbourhood to see my old GP. The drive is long, it not as long as the wait times at Medical One Greensborough
Negative experience: I visited this doctors clinic for the first time yesterday because I a tiny piece of glass stuck in my foot and just wanted it out. The doctor literally did nothing, she checked it for a second and said that I would need to do a ultra sound to find the glass and then surgery! I said just try and she said she couldnt. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. She even mentioned to me that there was something red in my foot? Umm that is because I had tried to get it out and it was the dry blood as a result! Mind you I paid $80 to see the doctor, what a joke. Just a money making business at the least! Ended up getting it out myself by preserving and speaking with the pharmacist.
Negative experience: Have never been met with such hostility and rudeness from a supposed healthcare provider. Saturday morning receptionist was rude and dismissive, this clinic needs clearer policies and procedures and needs to communicate and listen to patients. Never again would I go here again.
Negative experience: Misleading information by receptionists made the entire visit a waste of time, was told by a receptionist that they could put my MRi disc onto file to give to the doctor and then was told on arrival that this isn’t possible. Having torn my pec, time is crucial to receive surgery to prevent further damage and this has put me back further.

To have my blood tests done by Anna down stairs. The Receptionists are very helpful, Treat you with respect. Parking is excellent, close under cover.

Negative experience: Discussing how I couldn’t book to see the doctor face to face to see my 5 week old child for an eye infection due to covid. Then the receptionist to tell us they do bulk bill when they don’t as we called again and was told something different. Ridiculous and waste of time wouldn’t be going to use they services again.
Negative experience: Rude and unhelpful reception workers. Tried to tell them it was not normal to wait half an hour past the appointment time for a psychologist, I was told they had messaged him and to keep on waiting. Just spoke with the psych, he never got the message. Waste of an afternoon having to travel all the way out to Greensborough. A little respect goes a long way, unfortunately I went nowhere.

Negative experience: GP David Piekarski wouldn't see my baby to check his chest and ears only because the baby has a runny nose due to teething. And that's when we haven't had new COVID cases for a long time and rules are eased all the time. No one even asked us if we were in any COVID spots and other COVID checks questions. Apparently it's his individual rules which this GPs sets for himself and not the medical centre's rules, but I'm so disappointed that the med center is ok with that the one who gave the Hippocratic oath to help is rejecting you.

Fantastic experience: Emily at reception is absolutely lovely and so helpful, every single time I walk in. The lady who does the bloods is so lovely and super quick. It was the first blood test that I had that someone did not have an issue finding my veins, was not painful in any way and I did not bruise at all. Both an asset to Medical One!
