Fantastic experience: Our daughter fell and chipped her front tooth late yesterday. We called at closing time and only the receptionist, Monica remained in the clinic. Monica patched us through to Dr Joel Kligman who was at the CBD clinic. He made a special trip to Lane Cove and met us at 6 pm. He quickly put us all at ease and did a perfect job fixing her tooth. Monica also stayed back late until the job was done. Great service, great clinic and glad to have them as part of our community!!!

Fantastic experience: Firstly I tried to do Invisaligns, but it didn’t work for me. I didn’t like the pressure and that I had to have them 20 hours a day. (Please note that my teeth been very crooked and I am over 30 yo) Honestly it was completely my fault as doctor told me all this, but I thought I will try. After that I decided to do veneers and I knew that it wouldn’t make my smile perfect, but it will make a big difference. Yes, veneers made a huge difference. I had them now for more than 12 months. At the start I felt a bit strange, but it only took about 3 weeks. It is definitely did a big boost of my confidence. Dr Kligman was honest and knowledgeable. It was very easy to communicate with him and his team.

Negative experience: Response: Lies. Would you like me to upload photos of my receipts (including the receipts of the extra dental work I was required to get?). I recently had a dental procedure at A Better Smile Dental Centre - Lane Cove, and I must say it was a highly disappointing experience. Not only was I overcharged for the services, but the quality of the dental work I received was far below expectations. The initial estimate provided to me was significantly lower than the final bill I received after the procedure. I expected some variations, but the difference was unreasonable and completely unjustified. There was no clear explanation provided for the additional charges, leaving me feeling taken advantage of as a patient. Secondly, the dental procedure I underwent has resulted in ongoing issues, which were not present before visiting this clinic. It appears that the dentist either lacked the necessary skills or did not invest enough time and effort to ensure the work was done correctly. As a result, I now find myself seeking a second opinion and additional treatment elsewhere, incurring even more expenses and inconvenience.

I normally see Dr. Paul Vlastian, his dentistry is of the highest level, in fact I call him the Picasso because of his very high skill level & competence in rebuilding or constructing a broken tooth from practically nothing. I have never felt any pain getting the numbing needle from Paul. Their staff including Monica at reception are alk excellent, the head dentist and owner Joel, is a very nice caring person and also a great dentist. Fantastic experience: Receptionist Monica, Dr Joel, Nurse Vanessa, and Hygienist Zara made my Invisalign experience so seamless from day 1. The team felt like family and I am honestly over the moon with my results. I’ve been through 5 different dentists to only be overpriced and disappointed. The whole process at the lanecove clinic was seamless, I had no painful stages and my teethe feel amazing. I am so glad I came across such a beautiful team. If you are someone with crooked teethe feeling sceptical about getting your teethe examined, I recommend this place x1000. I will be a forever customer at the lanecove clinic. Fantastic experience: I would strongly recommend ‘A Better Smile Dental Care’ to anyone! I attended this clinic for a cosmetic appointment after chipping a fake filled composite front tooth. I was also interested in veneers as my front six teeth all featured a different morphology. Dr Kligman, Craig, and the other friendly staff at this clinic worked to replace my fake front tooth with a porcelain crown, and built up my other five front teeth to make them all appear more uniform in shape and transparency. The colour of my front teeth match perfectly, and the crown and my other central front tooth are indistinguishable. It had been 10 years since I had two matching front teeth. I am beyond happy with the affordable, friendly, and exceptional quality that I have received from this dental clinic. Thanks so much again to the team :) -Isabella

They have looked after my whole family for about the last 5years and will continue to be our dentists of choice. We’ve trusted their great team of Doctors with general dentistry, dentures and, very soon, also Invisalign for corrective purposes. The staff are all friendly and all very capable so no matter your level of ease with dentistry you are looked after with care, and skill from start to finish. Good dental health is very important and my kids are so proud of showing off their heathy teeth (and reporting in with a Tooth Fairy update) at their 6-monthly checkups with Dr. Vukasin). I’ve never been happier with the level of care they receive. A Better Smile will soon be helping my son feel good about his smile with Invisalign. Negative experience: I visited this dentist on the 30 March 2020. I had a suspected cavity/infected tooth which was advised to be extracted. I was charged a huge fee for the consult, X-ray and extraction. With my private health insurance it still came to a total of $750 which I feel is unusual and excessive as my partner and father have recently had similar (if not more) work done, but they paid less than half what I was charged. As this was an emergency and I was in quite a bit of pain, I didn’t have time to shop around. But in the future will be looking for somewhere more affordable. The work itself, was done professionally and my extraction site is healing well.
