Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist used to be a pain in the xxx, but the team at Dental Residence changed this for me. They were able to fix my gums when 25 years of dentists in Australia and France couldn't achieve it, and now, I will have a new smile thanks to their advice. From the booking to the reception before the appointment, the care and after-care advice, every step is fantastic and in a good spirit. Don't even think twice, book it.

Fantastic experience: Received the most amazing care and service from the whole Dental Residence Team. Required a very last minute Emergency Wisdom Tooth Extraction and speaking to Rebecca made the whole process so easy and way less daunting. They were able to fit me in yesterday and after hours with the amazing Dr Simon who got all 4 out with minimal, practically no pain at all! For my first ever visit with them and for such a big procedure they were absolutely incredible and the five star reviews are an absolute reflection of the amazing service they provide! She took the time to teach me all the little things about dental care that no other dentist has ever explained before. It made such a huge difference. And then there’s Dr Simon Khalil, he did laser gum surgery on my front teeth and completely changed my smile! I can’t thank him enough for his expert care and for giving me so much more confidence. The whole team is super friendly, professional, and really caring. George and Amanda at reception are the kindest people, always welcoming and provide incredible service. Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff entertained my kids while waiting in the line, proposed coffee and water, regarding the service very happy how Dental Residence treats clients suggesting the easiest options before going to more costly and time consuming ones. Patiently treating kids that are easy to cry, so we did couple sessions so that kid doesn't cry and shows his teeth to the doctor. Highly recommend the clinic and personally doctor Dmitry

Fantastic experience: I want to show my gratitude to the whole team which was very accommodating and comforting during and post treatment. Taking my wisdom tooth was always a nightmare but Simon did soooooo good with NO PAIN yet gentle with a thorough consultation. Seriously NO PAIN and any discomfort at all.. NO bleeding or swollen gum afterwards which was amazing!! Thank you so much for taking care of me. It’s highly recommend to come here (I’ve been to a dentist which I was adored with his friendliness and put up with his rough work but different than Simon).

Fantastic experience: Super friendly team. Went in for a toothache and ended up getting a wisdom tooth taken out. Was shown all my options and what Dr Simon suggested, with no pressure with whatever option I chose. Would recommend this place to anyone who is nervous about dental procedures or just wanting a friendly dentist. Bonus he even let me pick what music I wanted to play to calm my nerves and checked in multiple times to see how I was going. Will definitely be back :)

Negative experience: I had the misfortune of visiting Dr. Simons dental practice, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional, and the waiting room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Fantastic experience: What a positive experience, from the time I made the booking through to the time I left. I was holidaying in Sydney and one of my molars began throbbing with pain on Christmas Eve, by the next day I couldn't eat anything on that side as the pain was head splitting. Thankfully I found Dental Residence was open and was able to make an appointment. Rebecca in reception was fantastic and empathetic and got me the earliest spot available to see Dr. Simon, who did a great job in making sure I was comfortable. Withing 30 or so pain free minutes my tooth felt much better and as he said the next day my pain would be reduced to almost nothing and he was right. Thanks all at Dental Residence you saved my holiday!!

Negative experience: My experience at the Dental Residence started very positively with the kind staff. I booked in with Simon, however, they assigned me Dr Mutaz (who was still a very good dentist, however, it was not correct). I want to reiterate, if you book in with a specific Dr, you should actually be seeing that Dr. While there for my first visit, I was seen promptly and had a very good experience with the staff. Dr Mutaz was very kind and helpful in educating me about my dental health. After this, I was given a quote for over $1,200.00 for 5 fillings. I reattended to get said fillings. They told me they were running about 15 minutes behind, however, I waited in the cramped waiting room for over 2 hours to be seen. I took time off of work to fit this into my schedule, and this really put a bad taste in my mouth (pardon the pun). Finally after being seen, it took less than 20 minutes to do my rushed fillings. I understand that dentists/all Drs run late, however, it’s best practice for them to be transparent as I would have rescheduled. I left feeling like this business is extremely inauthentic, as after the fantastic first appointment, I felt as though I was just going through the revolving door so they could be paid and get onto the next as soon as possible. I don’t recommend going here, unless if it’s for a one off cleaning.

A few minutes later, Dr Farjian welcomed me into the dental room. He was very comforting and understanding about my situation. His attention to detail and gentle approach during my treatment left me feeling comfortable and well-cared for. He took the time to explain every step of the Invisalign process, ensuring that I fully understood my treatment plan. Having been to various dentists over the years, Dr. Farjian is the only one I trust completely with my dental health. Negative experience: I cannot emphasize enough how terrible my experience was with Dental Residence. They are, without a doubt, the worst I have ever encountered. My Invisalign treatment with them was not only highly disappointing but also extremely painful. I endured unnecessary discomfort throughout the process. On top of that, they charged me more than other places, despite their obvious lack of experience. I highly recommend seeking orthodontic specialists or more experienced dentists for Invisalign treatment. Additionally, their business practices are extremely questionable and untrustworthy. Please, save yourself the trouble and avoid this dentist at all costs.

Negative experience: I had incredibly disappointing experience with Dental Residence. Simon and Rita demonstrated unprofessionalism, the care I received was subpar, and there was a lack of transparency regarding costs. Not only were my teeth treated poorly, but I still feel uncomfortable after the procedure. Moreover, they disappeared when the problems arose and failed to honor their promise to fix the issue through additional appointments. I strongly urge you to seek dental services elsewhere to avoid the frustration I experienced at this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Dr Simon has been my dentist for 4 years now & I met him when he was still in Maroubra Dental. I’ve followed him when he moved to Marrickville simply because he’s amazing!! I’ve done crowns, fillings & wisdom tooth extraction and the results have been fantastic!! I’ll never forget when he extracted my wisdom tooth in 5 seconds when I was heavily pregnant & on the spot! Very fast & painless I didn’t even realise my tooth was out Also, he’s great with kids! My very shy son surprisingly didn’t mind being carried by Dr Simon and made him feel comfortable straight away while he accompanied me & my partner during our dental visits! Also, I must mention Rita who did an awesome job with mine & my partner’s general clean, polish & check up! One of the best clean I’ve ever had! And, to the face of the dental practice— the ever so lovely receptionists! Always very friendly & smiling! I love the nice touch of having the follow up calls few days after your dental appointments! Overall, I highly recommend visiting this place. They do an amazing job, great team, fantastic atmosphere, very clean & charming practice!

Fantastic experience: If your children have tooth problems, I highly recommend Dentist Rita here for you. My little one has 3 bad tooth cavity. Rita has been so patient to help her clean it and put the crowns on. My little one didn’t cry or even complain while the whole procedure. Rita is so patient and experienced with little ones.
