Negative experience: I recently visited the clinic for a regular teeth cleaning and check-up. I was attended to by Dentist Vivian, but she was only able to complete half of the job due to time constraints. She referred me to a hygienist for the remaining cleaning during my next visit, which is scheduled for six months later. When I inquired at the reception about this situation, a staff member informed me that it was considered a standard procedure. During the examination, Dentist Vivian took the time to explain the situation, which I was already aware of, as I had previously mentioned that I wanted a full cleaning. The reception staff claimed my insurance covered this partial visit but scheduled my next application for after the next six months, leaving the remaining work incomplete. I was very disappointed with the treatment I received and felt that I had wasted an entire day since my appointment was at 4:00 PM. Based on my experience and noticing a trend of rescheduled appointments, I cannot recommend this clinic.

Negative experience: Our whole family has been going to SmileCo for years and we’ve always been happy with the service. However, the recent experience with rescheduling has been frustrating. I was trying to reschedule my appointment (before 48 hours)I was told the next available appointment was in 3 months, but when I asked to leave feedback for the manager, suddenly an opening appeared for next week. the same thing happened to my husband. It feels unnecessarily aggressive and inflexible. Patients should be able to reschedule with reasonable notice without pressure. Whatever the management team is doing is not

Fantastic experience: Hello everyone, April 2025 I had my first appointment at Smile Co in Norwood SA After having the same Dentist for years, and Thousands later I was so unhappy with his work, especially starting a root canal on a tooth that he had done a few mths earlier on one of my new veneers I decided enough!!! My sister said go to my Dentist they are fantastic. Well all I can say is Omg!!! I had the best experience and walked out smiling like never before. Thankyou Smile Co, you've done well. So so happy. Fantastic experience: To: THE SMILECO TEAM at Norwood : recently i had a wisdom tooth extraction done by their most capable Dr. Arya, who has such steady hands! (backed with years of experience ofcourse). The whole process glided-by so smoothly, in a breeze! The pain was minimal & i felt so secure under his care. I want to also mention : what i appreciated the most was the kind gesture of the reception team, who were caring enough to call me more than once, to inquire about my well-being, after the tooth-removal procedure. This added a very warm and personal touch, coming from their customer service team & is a very rare kind of gesture, not seen often in today’s busy world. Keep up the good work and thanks for everything!

Dr. Isabel assisted by Sarah welcomed me explaining each step & reorganizing her schedule to allocate extra time for me. Fantastic experience: Dr Rafael Dance Hooi is the best dentist I have ever been to He is extremely gentle and reassuring explaining all the steps along the way. His work is excellent I have always recovered well from major dental work like crowns Very thorough but does not over service eg He monitors any issues and takes action when necessary

Negative experience: I personally had the worst experience with this clinic, hygienists don't know how to do proper deep cleaning and wait until your gums get worse to refer you to a specialist, tooth extraction went wrong and part of it was pushed inside my sinus which caused chronic sinusitis and I had to undergo a major surgery to take it out which costed me six thousand dollars - this was confirmed by the surgeon but they denied it, a crown that was made inhouse didn't last more than 4 years and didn't have a warranty, booking appointments is a nightmare as the receptionist tells you a time verbally and then book you on a different time saying there was a text message so you miss your appointment.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a regular at SMILECO for years even before its move to current location. It really does depend which Dr you see as to your satisfaction level. Today I received my night guard for my grinding and it fits so well and comfortably !! (although at first I wasn’t excited about the idea as I had one done years ago elsewhere which I had to throw out because it was so uncomfortable). Dr. Dhillon made me see the importance of wearing it nightly after he very competently repaired a recent chip on a tooth for me. Dr Dhillon is professional, kind and explains things clearly and unrushed, he was also very mindful of my time and my concerns ! I can recommend him highly. Thank you.

Dr. Allen listened attentively, adjusted her busy schedule to fit me in on the same day, and explained each step of the procedure. Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to a dentist for over 6 years as I am petrified of dentists. My visit to Smileco Dental was a pleasant experience, even though I had to have some work done on a tooth!! I am going back again in two weeks for a check up! This is amazing for me!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Dr.Carl and the team at Smileco I can chew worry free again on my left side!!!! I had a filling poorly repaired at another practice which was causing me a sharp pain each time I chewed. They couldn't identify the issue when I returned to the practice again over a few times. After 6 month's of reluctance to go to the dentist I decided to get a second opinion and visited Smileco. Dr.Carl was and his assistant were very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Fantastic experience: just can't recommend this team highly enough. I've just been through a dental implant procedure and I'm delighted with the results and the whole process (and this is from someone who endured school dental services in the late 70s and 80s......PTSD perhaps). Dr Moataz Elgammal made the whole experience interesting and painless. I felt such confidence in him from the first meeting and I was not disappointed. I have such respect for his manner and skills. In particular, during the very final crown fitting I had a bit of an anxious moment. I want to thank him and Dr Shayda for their care, skill and patience. Just outstanding.

Negative experience: Terrible service - twice now they have failed to fulfill an appointment on time. first time the kept me waiting for nearly an hour second time cancelled my appointment about 40 minutes before the time after I had already travelled to Adelaide specially for this appointment. Fantastic experience: My son needed to access an Emergency Dental appointment late on a Friday afternoon, Smileco dental were extremely accomodating and we were booked in to see Dr Shadya almost immediately. My choppers have never felt so clean and my dentist picked something up about my root canal that is very important. Got lots of info about how to future proof my teeth against unnecessary damage.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Smileco Dental on the Parade Norwood and as usual a trip to the dentist is not one of the highlights of the day.However on arrival I introduced myself at the reception and the lady made me feel so relaxed and like I had been a client for years. 10 out of 10 for whoever trains the meet and greet receptionist you have done a great job My treatment was a checkup and two fillings by Dr Joshua who was professional and explained what was required and talked to me during the procedure as to what he was doing ,so again completely at ease. Alex,my personal dentist,is kind,very able and makes all procedures non threatening by his informed and interesting commentary on what is happening. I must add he is also rather dishy!! Negative experience: Was recommended to go here as every time I was engaging the services for my previous dentist, which was now for more than 4 years, I was paying a large gap payment so I wanted to see if I could save a bit of money . I was told that this place was gap free so I decided to check it out. Although my dentist was friendly and some of the receptionists were very nice, the service that the dentist provided me for a regular clean was quick, rushed and without any care! My teeth were cleaned without any thorough care. I now know I'll be sticking to my previous dentist and have learnt my lesson that you get what you pay for. On top of this they were going to charge me $550 for a night mouthguard without even telling me the price prior to doing the impression. To someone who knows nothing about dental prices, a simple disclosure to the patient about the price and not a mere assumption that I would pay for it would go along way. After a song and dance the receptionist took it off my bill. Will not be back unfortunately.

The receptionist are always friendly too which I love!
