Fantastic experience: Amazing service and facilities. I broke a molar while on a trip to Port Macquarie. Sundial dental had a short notice appointment- gave me options to replace the filling or fit a crown. I elected the crown - A procedure that normally takes weeks - they were able to create the crown in house and have it fitted the same day I broke the tooth. John and the staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: Sundial Dental. I've been going there for a number of years and I always found it a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. But an experience I had last week deserves accolades. I cracked my two front teeth and that required crowns. In and out in about 1 hour, a painless procedure and I walked out with 2 front teeth beautifully restored. These guys 3D scan your teeth, adjust the scan as necessary and custom make the crowns on site. No more temporary crowns and waiting days for them to be made somewhere else. So if all you want for Xmas is two front teeth, (or anything else for that matter) these are the guys to do it. Great staff. excellent technicians and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. 10 out of 10.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't have asked for a better Dental Practice. From reception staff to Dentists to Denturist! All have been phenomenal, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Rod made sure my dentures were perfect, and they absolutely are! I'm over the Moon with the care I received.

Negative experience: Reception and nurses terrific. Dentist not so much. After much research and a decision made and forwarded to staff via telephone to ensure everything was in place before appointment to have extraction ready for an implant at another surgery down the track. All ok with staff no problem, helpful and accomodating. All done to ease anxiety and wanting a good outcome. The first thing dentist ask was what are we doing. Hadn’t read any notes or history. Didn’t even attempt. After discussion he pulled the tooth, gave no after care except to take Panadol. Nearly $400 10 min work thank you. Personal patient care zero. Googled extraction care. Nope not happy Jan. Not professional. Not caring.

Fantastic experience: After moving to Port few years back, tried out 4 local dentists wiith high regards in town, I found Dr Elfar stood up above all - technical skills. 2 days ago I needed an emergency tooth extraction, staff Fran (great listening skill and came across a caring personal)managed to get me a spot at Taree..Thank you Fran. And of course I insisted only Dr Elfar, as I trusted his work. It is very fortunate that Port/Taree/etc have a skillful dentist available. I had a bad work done and ill advice 20 years ago and I still paying for that price. So it is very important to have skillful dentist. So THANK YOU Dr Elfar for your talent, I'm very blessed.

Negative experience: Very poor service. In capital letters it says "immediate" if you are in pain. I called on Saturday morning only to be told "no appointments available". Been a patient for 2+ years. I was told to call on Monday morning & "hope" for a cancellation! This is not immediate & is very bad business practice!

Fantastic experience: I went to Sundial Dentistry Port Macquarie, for the first time last week. I was very impressed with the whole experience. I received a warm welcome from the receptionist and then the dentist, Brandon Chow, came out and introduced himself. He was personable, very thorough and perceptive. Brandon took the time to explain the issues with my teeth, using diagrams and simple language that made it easy for me to understand. Fantastic experience: When I arrived I was so worked up, full of anxiety and crying, the two ladies at reception talked to me calmly and without judgement, got me a glass of water and sat me down. Martin had been given the information of what were my triggers, this was wonderful not having to explain again. Feeling a calm I had not experienced before. I followed him to the room where he was gentle and understanding, explaining everything and checking I was okay as he proceeded. He and the lovely nurse assisting never made me feel silly or embarrassed. I am looking forward to finally having dental work done that should have been done years ago, with the aid of the gas.
