Hi did you even have an appointment here? We cannot find anyone in our system over the last week with this name hence I wonder if this may be a mischievous malicious review??
Negative experience: Making a booking for an allied health professional was a comedy of errors but after about 10 minutes they gave me a time. When I showed up they had no record of it but told me to sit in a hallway and I would be seen. After 30 minutes I gave up and just went home. Hopeless.

Negative experience: Made appointment at health@campbelltown for son’s dislocated finger and then went to the clinic and at the appointment, the doctor said there is nothing he can do and we should go to the hospital. He then charged us $70. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: Had a really good GP here previously but he’s since left. The doctor I had instead gave useless advice (stuff I was already doing or could have googled) and seemed dismissive or didn’t take my problems seriously. Paid for a double-consult and yet the doctor was rushing me out of his office after barely addressing one issue in 10 minutes (there was no one else waiting either, I think he just wanted his lunch break). Couldn’t even give me a referral for dermatologist or other doctor who actually knew more about the specific issues because he “didn’t have time.” Uh, I booked a double consult so that I’d have enough time, mate! Even after making jokes about expired topical medication, he didn’t think to give me an updated prescription until I brought it up while I was being walked out the door. Will have to find another GP.

Negative experience: I paid 140 dollars for the consultation fee for 10mins, and the doctor was very inpatient, she had very bad attitude, and very rush to ask us to leave, I will never ever come back here again.

Negative experience: I recently took my grandparents for their medical examination, as they had a joint appointment together. They are elderly, need day-to-day care, and struggle to communicate in English. The wait time was quick and well organised; however, the doctor that examined my grandmother was very passive-aggressive. My grandparents had never previously visited this clinic and booked this doctor, as he was the same nationality - in the hopes that he could assess them and communicate easier. Unfortunately, the doctor had little patience and, on top of being passive-aggressive, made zero effort to communicate in their native language. My grandmother booked her appointment regarding approval to renew her licence, which was beyond the doctor's control as he had no prior evidence of her past medical history - completely understandable. This ordeal was over in a few minutes. I can't say the same for my grandfather, as he was simply refused consultation by this doctor, claiming that the "appointment was under her name." I'm not a doctor nor a receptionist, but I find this decision to be very unprofessional. There have been plenty of times that I have shared an appointment with my mother at our own clinic. Their "appointment" was over in minutes; my grandmother's question was left vaguely answered, and no effort was made to book another appointment for my grandfather. As I reiterate, they are elderly and have a language barrier - exceptions need to be made as a medical professional to assist them. We were shown the door, and the doctor seemed eerily smug about his decision. It's safe to say that they will never return.

Negative experience: I have had unpleasant experiences at this clinic, major with waiting time. Just because I never complain doesn’t mean I am okay with it. Average waiting time was 45-1hr. I reckon they squeezed another patient after my appointment. Just wasting time for only 10min consult. One GP suggested me to do pap smear on the spot, when I said I need to go to toilet first she said “I am afraid I have no time”. What about me waiting for one hour for hust 10min consult. I won’t bother coming anymore.
Sorry you encountered long waits. Whilst we operate on 10-15 appointment slots, sometimes patients present with things that require much longer to sort eg. Bereavement, counselling after miscarriage, suicidal ideation, chest pain etc. if the shoe was on the other foot, I’d like to think your doctor would not be pushing you out the door when you actually need more time.

Negative experience: Front reception people were friendly and welcoming, they are the ones getting the stars. However, I have never felt so condensed by a GP before. I knew symptoms were vague but being told to take Panadol for pain, when I had said it was not painful but uncomfortable. Oh and having to be asked why I know I wasn't pregnant, and then having my period blamed when I wasn't even on it. Being told I wasn't expected, but was waiting in the waiting room. I won't be coming back for a good while.

Fantastic experience: Hello. Today I saw Dr Maghasaji who I was very impressed with. She was sympathetic to my health issues and agreed to the suggestions for new medications. I made the appointment in the morning and was seen promptly at my afternoon appointment time. I have a home in Campbelltown but live mostly in Naracoorte. I would like to make her my regular GP and see her when I can - we are in Adelaide about 1 week in 6 or 7. I am happy to highly recommend her and the office staff at Health at Campbelltown. Negative experience: Attended early checked in for my appointment & waited, my appointment time came & went - after waiting 10-15mins I advised Reception I couldn't wait any longer. The Receptionist asked if I'd ever had a Dr appointment as they can run late-I asked her not to get smart with me, told her that I would not be paying for non-attendance. That was the 1st & last time I'll be going there!!!

Positive experience: I've been to five female doctors here. None were bad and I really like two of them. The doctor I go to most often is very thorough, making sure she includes everything. I think she tends to run late because of this and appointments can take a longer time than the patient scheduled. I am willing to trade a little of my time waiting longer in return for this thoroughness. I did get a little worried while the COVID-19 lockdowns were on and the practise wouldn't assist anyone with any symptoms. I don't think that is quite right. The COVID-19 vaccination clinic was variable: the second time around, the receptionist was very rude and did not ask me to stay 10 minutes after the shot. (However, the doctors were good). Also, some of the regular practise receptionists are rude and unhelpful. I thought excellent customer service was the most important thing for them to have as they are the face of the organization. They should be given training in customer service or else given 'the boot'. UPDATE Nov 2023: One receptionist is very rude and unprofessional to patients. She failed to communicate something regarding payment in a professional way, and when I asked her about it, instead of apologizing and explaining in a professional manner, she just said, "Then you won't be able to see a doctor" in a rude abrupt tone.

Negative experience: Make sure to not take your child for immunisation vaccines at this center! They will miss updating that in the immunisation history. Their nurses very busy and they will waste your time with follow up and promises to call you back.

Negative experience: Was quite ill with a very sore throat. Organised a phone appointment. Was then told I needed to come into the office. Was told I didn't need a certificate, but was still ill and unable to work. Called the office and was told 2 doctors said I need to organise another 100 phone appointment, even though this contradicts the first doctors diagnosis anyway. Another instance , needed a script renewal but had to organise an appointment because the dosage from my diabetes doctor changed. A 2 minute conversation which I was told would be cheaper then getting a script renewal anyway (which was a lie) when all the doctor had to do was confirm this with my diabetes doctor. Sorry but clearly only wanting money.

In the first instance we will endeavour
to clarify this but in the second instance, your accusations of clearly only wanting money could well have been mitigated by you contacting your diabetes doctor directly for the dose changed by them? Whilst you might willing to sign your name off on the say so of a layperson, we do have a professional responsibility to clarify doses and with this takes the time and effort, of which like all private clinics in Australia, we are a fee for service clinic.
Negative experience: Absolutely ridiculous as we had to wait over an hour while staff told us that we were next, while 3 other patients went in before and when asked they kept saying your next. Highly would not recommend this place, might be quicker going to ED

Negative experience: Forced to book a double (as well as later) appointment as a first-time patient, I had to wait 15+ minutes to be served and eventually finished in 10 minutes, receiving a not very much in-depth treatment.

Negative experience: After i complained to my doctor about waiting 55 minutes, she kept my appointment to the correct timing. Therefore she didn't look at the stated change in my breast tissue. My doctor simply made reference about my yearly mamagram coming up in a month (as i have had breast cancer ).

Negative experience: Dr charges double the amount of MBS Fee
Thank you for taking the time to post this review. The MBS fee has sadly failed to keep up with inflation and was frozen from 2012 to 2018 inclusive and after that was only indexed at 1/2 CPI. As with all South Australians, the cost of living and CPI has escalated exponentially in the last 2 years and Medicare was only indexed again at 3.6% in July whilst the CPI was closer to 7.6%! Please write to your local Federal MP to highlight this ongoing issue. As with all businesses expenses have increased and our charges reflect the true cost of running a business with escalating overheads.

Negative experience: I have attended this clinic for a number of years and have noticed that the appointments are always at least 45 minutes - 1 hour later then anticipated. I have had multiple experiences where I’ve been late to work because of this slow service. Hopefully management can workout a plan to resolve this as your workload has decreased as you are not seeing potentially infectious patients in fear of contracting COVID-19 or Influenza A. Which has resulted in our emergency departments to become overwhelmed with patients. Please get this sorted ASAP!!!
Thanks for your feedback and sorry for your experience. Contrary to your statement we’ve actually not shirked our responsibility and continue to see patients with respiratory track symptoms. Unfortunately these consults take double the amount of time to conduct as we have to don and doff PPE and make the trek to the carpark and back then document and if swabs need to be taken, print forms and get the swabs and walk back again and conduct the swab etc. in addition. We’ve also seen more Infuenza A than ever before in the last 3-4 weeks and this is also putting a strain on our staff and doctors as we’ve also had more staff illness and absences. No one likes to wait and believe you me as a doctor, I too hate running behind as it places more pressure when you’re conscious others are waiting. To top it off, there is a national shortage of GPs and the situation does not appear to be improving as past and successive governments have done little for funding of primary care and training of future GPs. In fact a recent survey showed only 15% of current medical students are even considering General Practice as a career- no surprises given the denigration of funding of Medicare, plus the 4-5 years it takes to train on top of medical school and internship. Once again hear your points but would love you to also feedback to your Federal Govt that the health system is broken and needs urgent remedy.

Negative experience: A terrible first experience. My 3 month old baby had a fever that needed to be seen by a doctor but the receptionist insisted that we could not come into the clinic due to the fever. We asked if they could see the baby in person in the car park or even at the door (it was raining heavily and was cold on that day but we accepted that and wanted the baby to be examined). The receptionist refused all options and only offered phone consults. But because my baby has never been a patient there before, phone consults were not covered by Medicare. We had to pay for the full fee. There was no other doctor at other clinics close to us available on that day. When we finally had a call from the doctor for the phone consult, we were told by the doctor that we should have brought the baby to them to be examined in person, that she would come out and see the baby, that we should seek better help because the baby was too young. She said to call for another appointment if the baby wasn’t feeling better which we did later that day and received the same response from reception that only phone consults were available in our case!?!? I would have thought as a medical clinic they should have acted more ethically, especially when the patient is a little baby. Telehealth consults for babies are not appropriate - babies can’t say where they feel uncomfortable, how can doctors give the right judgement? Plus their fees are not cheap, only to provide terrible service. We will not come back and will not recommend this clinic to anyone

Negative experience: The staff at reception are not professional in my opinion. They treat people not in proper manner and they have up to down looking. 3 years they keep calling me for the mistake they did and finally they say it’s not our mistake, it’s our employee mistake as an individual. When you go to the centre, there is no individual, there is a centre.
