Negative experience: I went there for a bad tooth ache. I was told they would pull it out which I didn’t have a problem with as I just wanted it out. Xrsys showed bad infection. I lost track of how many injections I was given and I could still feel the pain. I was asked several times if I feel anything and I said yes. I was then made to feel like a complete moron as they seemed to not believe that I could feel it. It was the worse dentist experience That I’ve ever had and will definitely not recommend

Negative experience: EDIT - Following my post of the google review I was contacted immediately (after they admitted below to seeing my email on the Monday and I gave them until 8:30PM this day they clearly didn’t care until it was posted for the public). Since then I have had a trail of messages asking me to delete my review. I was assured my dry socket didn’t just ‘happen’ after my stitches were removed considering I was in the same amount of pain for 4 days prior until the removal. This clinic will say anything to save face. I had a lovely phone call with the owners daughter but after this response and a text message shortly after my phone call asking me to delete my review I realised it wasn’t about making things right with me. ———— Unfortunately I gave this clinic the opportunity to respond to me privately via email however they have ignored me for 2 days so thought I would post to google. I am feeling extremely disappointed and let down. I had a quite invasive wisdom tooth extraction on Friday the 28th under IV sedation and all went well for what I believed. I presented to the clinic on Monday the 1st as I was experiencing some pain that I was concerned about considering it was worsening not getting better. I was told all was well and no issues. I presented to the clinic for a second time on Wednesday the 3rd, I expressed I was in agonising - 7-8/10 pain and needed assistance. I asked if I was infected and received literally no response to my question or guidance in any way. I was left to guess what was going on however he flushed the wound and put some Betadine on it and left me to it. I even had to ask when I could remove the gauze, he ignored me and the nurse had to ask him to respond to me… I then presented on Thursday 4th for stitch removal, I expressed I had not been sleeping, again I was in 10/10 agonising pain, was bought to tears daily and that the pain relief provided was not helping in any sort of way. I was told my wounds were perfect, healing excellently and there were no issues at all. I did not have an infection or dry socket as i was not ‘swollen’. I was made to feel that I must of been being dramatic and the pain wasn’t all that bad by the responses I had been given. I proceeded to get a second opinion by another dentist on Saturday 6th of July as the pain I had been going through was absolutely gruelling and debilitating. My partner was growing increasingly worried. As soon as they observed my mouth it was found my right bottom socket was white, empty and would not produce any blood. My bone was exposed hence the agonising pain I was experiencing. This was identified in a short examination. She tried to induce blood however none would occur and I had to be treated for dry socket, given a stronger course of anti biotic and yet another box of pain killers. I am absolutely appalled at how I have been dismissed and left untreated. I presented to your clinic on 3 seperate occasions expressing how much pain I was in and that this could not be normal. I was fobbed off and left to be in pain. Not only could you have made my condition worse but you have extended my pain duration absolutely unnecessarily and I am left to take more time off work and suffer further. After still being in pain after my dry socket treatment, I have had to unfortunately had the wound reopened, scraped and restitched and basically start the healing process again. I believe this clinic is absolutely responsible for allowing this to go on for so long. I can not express how angry, hurt and disappointed I feel in the entire clinic after seeing 2 seperate dentists. Your duty of care has absolutely failed and you have failed me after I put my trust into the clinic! I will certainly not be returning to the clinic ever. I was hoping they would reach out to me after my lengthy email and we could have this resolved and perhaps it was a mistake however I have completely lost all faith.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ismail and his assistant are just amazing! They’re both very nice and do their absolute best to comfort the patient and make them feel confident in the dentist. I have anxiety issues and was in tears with the worry of getting my first wisdom tooth removed, but not once did they make me feel bad for feeling this way and tried to help as much as they could throughout the whole procedure. Dr. Ismail often checks up on me to make sure I’m doing okay throughout procedures. Highly recommend especially if you’re a person who is usually afraid of going to the dentist like myself.

I had minimal swelling and soreness after the surgery, and was able to resume to normal eating without any ssues within 1-2 weeks. Special thanks to Dr Ismail for performing the surgery, as well as Ilana, and Deep, and Dr Sean for the anaesthesia!

Fantastic experience: I am always severely impressed with the quality of service and care at nicholson rd dental. Staff are very knowledgeable, professional and supportive through procedures and check ups, and pricing is more than reasonable. I am keen to recommend this place to more of my friends and family in the near future!

Negative experience: I had my checkup and clean up session with Dr Ismail. Through the course of the checkup, he has provided me few conflicts information about the same topic and he spent more time chatting rather than doing the actually job. To start the work, instead of using a proper machine to scale my teeth, he used an equipment and pulled out the tartar from the root of my tooth, which he applied lots of force. He only started using the machine to do scaling job after doing a few pull. At the end of the session, he even prescribed me with anti-biotic for 10 days and when I asked WHY, he did not provide me with a proper explanation and he kept saying I have asked so many questions. Only at the end of the session I have learnt that I have to come back for few more times just to do the cleanup. I do think this is a big rip off to my health provider and myself. I do not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Positive experience: I urgently needed to see a dentist. My regular dentist couldn't see me so I rang nicholson rd dental. I was seen straight away by a lovely young lady dentist who was very gentle and thorough in her examination of my teeth. Although she couldn't do any work as my regular dentist had started root canal treatment she was very gentle and re assuring. The reception staff were very helpful as well..when I had trouble completing my paperwork online.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ismail & lilly Over the last year i started with a crown on a broken tooth and filling ,then decided to have two implants done after the fantastic job , this has been the best dental experience from being gentle and making sure you are ok as well as given time to rest your jaw on long procedures ( implants ). All questions answered and will even show you the tools of the trade if you wish to see .Implants are a perfect fit and feel great, teeth missing for 20 and 8 years .

Negative experience: Worst and most painful experience.1st stage of implant a mess.Screw popped out twice.Cost me 2 days sick leave, emergency fly home been a FIFO mine worker.Lower jaw teeth stain from mould.

Negative experience: Dental filling several days ago done by Dr. Singh. Nice gentleman. Went there as it's one of the few places that opens on holidays. Thought it had been fixed but experiencing tooth sensitivity after the treatment. May need to redo this at another place. Disappointed. Not recommended unless for emergency.

The dentist, Dr Ismail, has a lovely manner and explained everything and regularly checked in to make sure I was ok and not experiencing any pain. It was such a positive experience, and the costs seemed comparable to other dentists I've seen elsewhere. I definitely recommend Dr Ismail and will be seeing him as my regular dentist from now on.
