She took the time to thoroughly explain all the options available, ensuring that the treatment plan was tailored to my needs and preferences. Her dedication and genuine care were clear in every step of the consultation. She truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and confident with the choices we discussed. Mikayla, Dr. Tina’s assistant, was also incredibly kind and knowledgeable, which added to the overall positive experience. The entire team was professional, compassionate, and attentive—it’s clear they all care deeply about their patients. Fantastic experience: I took my son to Westside Dentistry and it was a very pleasant experience. They found an appointment for us very last minute without any fuss. When we arrived, every staff member was friendly and warm to me and my son who was very nervous. The dentist we saw (Dr Tina) was so patient and kind. She made my son feel very comfortable and also explained everything he needed really well to me. It was a great experience for both my son and I and we will definitely be back.

One day later I had a repaired denture and lots of good advice from the meticulous and kind Diane, whose business this is. I came somewhat traumatised. There is a lovely, friendly vibe about the whole place, which was comforting. 110% recommended

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth extraction today and Jay and his assistant Jade were absolutely fantastic. Jade really helped me through some (unexpected) anxiety I was having during the extraction which I truely appreciated and it made a huge difference. Jay was very patient, professional, and accommodating as always. I've been visiting Jay for over 6yrs now and have had extensive work done. I've only ever had positive experiences, he's truly saved my teeth!. The almost 2hr round trip is beyond worth it. I highly recommend Westside Dentisty and often speak highly of them to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a fantastic dentist, search no more. I have been going to Jay Hsing for at least 10 years. I am always impressed by his commitment and kindness in looking after my teeth. He is thorough and nothing is too much trouble. I broke my retainer recently and he was able to have a new one made for me within a few days, knowing I was going on holiday’s he rang to check the fit was ok before I left. Just another example of his outstanding care. I went to live in Melbourne for a period of time, I would fly back to Brisbane every 6 months for my check up and clean just so Jay could continue to look after my teeth. Crazy I know but he’s worth it!

Fantastic experience: If 6 stars out of 5 could be given – this, is it. I have attended many dentists in my life, but the review I post here, is a testament to the quality of work that Dr Jay and his assistants provide. Westside Dentistry is “as good as they come” in terms of dentists… and the morality and customer-centric approach shines through the otherwise humble presence in Graceville. I happily drive circa 55mins every time to see this specific dentist because he is as trustworthy as they come. I had seen Dr Jay once in the past for an emergency filling. However, at age 37 now, my teeth were absolutely battered from years of Red Bull and smoking abuse. Another dentist quoted me ~$23,000 to rip out many of my teeth and provide just a few “implants” … However, I had not given up hope. I saw Dr Jay and he inspected each of my teeth independently, cold testing the nerves and making an independent assessment of each tooth. We tackled the most time-prescient ones first in my fortnightly or monthly visits. Circa $4,500 in now and I don’t know, maybe 20 VERY CAREFUL fillings… he has saved my teeth… ALL of them so far. I can smile completely again. It is now circa 12 months of visiting him regularly and I am happy to say that each and EVERY filling is holding well after 6-26 weeks (even the precarious ones), and my teeth are as good as I could have hoped for. Amazing. Saved ALL of my aesthetic teeth for another 10+ years (if I look after them) … and didn’t try to upsell me to increase his profit… just solid-honest-dentistry. Pure and simple. The really tiny 30 gauge needle can honestly not be felt at all by any adult… and the 27 gauge needle used only when a full block (i.e. two fillings or more) makes the anesthetic process so easily tolerable… even by the most needle-shy such as I. Dr Jay is also adroitly watching whether you can still feel the work, and opts for higher comfort and re-doing the anesthetic closer to the work areas where and when needed. True legend. I have given out business cards of Dr Jay and advocating for Westside Dentistry every chance I get out of the kindness of my heart. The respect I have for this man (and his assistants) who is as high-calibre for the dentistry skillset as they come… and for him to place morality and ethics of preserving the customers teeth above all else and absent any remote up-selling… To be an Ace at your career is one thing… to do it with the correct moral compass is another.
