Fantastic experience: As someone who has dealt with far too many overly cold and clinical dental experiences, leaving me with some severe dental anxiety…Dr Shruti was such a welcome breath of fresh air! Her incredibly warm, welcoming and down to earth demeanour had me feeling comfortable right away. After discussing my dental concerns with her, she was able to put my mind at ease, discussing the potential cause and reassuring me that my teeth were actually a lot healthier than i’d first assumed (being told you have ‘amazing oral hygiene’ by a dentist - that’s a pretty high honour!). I also brought up that I have issues with local anaesthetic not working for me, which has been a contentious point with previous dentists of mine, leading to me often not being believed. Dr Shruti not only immediately validated my experience, but also gave me a potential reason as to why the local doesn’t work! She then ran me through other options we can use in tandem with the LA so that I can remain as comfortable and pain-free as possible in any future treatments. Overall, this was easily the most positive dental experience i’ve ever had! Well worth the hour long trip from Geelong! Thank you so much to Dr Shruti for being so incredibly accomodating. For once, I actually can’t wait to be back in the dental chair!

Fantastic experience: Getting a root canal here was, without a doubt, the best experience I have ever had receiving dental care. The reception staff, Dr. Mo, and his assistant were all empathetic, knowledgeable, and efficient. They took my concerns seriously and made sure that I understood the procedure and the associated risks and costs. I will be returning to Lotus for all of my dental care from now on.

Fantastic experience: I found Lotus Dental on the internet after quite a few days of being in pain from an infected tooth while holidaying in Tasmania. We flew home last night and today being Sunday I couldn’t believe someone would be seeing patients especially during school holidays. Dr Callum was great, he was kind and very thorough and gave excellent advice. I really felt I could trust him. Their receptionist was so kind and reassuring I wanted to weep after trying to be seen by so many endontists and dentists in Hobart and in Melbourne I couldn’t believe it. We are very lucky in Victoria to have these wonderful people.

Fantastic experience: Such a visceral feeling of relief to find this wonderful dentist. Dr Shruti is a fricken legend and we must worship at her altar. Got a filling with no pain, plus she administered lots of little measures that made the dental experience so much better. Love the telly on the ceiling, got to watch Kath and Kim while my tooth got drilled. No joke - the hardest part of the appointment was trying not to laugh.

Fantastic experience: Lotus Dental provided me with wonderful service as an anxious Dental customer. Dr Sheran and his coworkers were fantastic at being calming and explaining the steps thoroughly to assist reducing any concerns. I walked in after not having been in the dentist personally for 8+ years, and expecting to be told very concerning news. I walked out with clean teeth, that were very gently cleaned but thoroughly also, and so positive in my experience that I will be back and referring my family and friends also.

Negative experience: One of the absolute worst dental experiences Ive ever had, that has left me traumatised. I had a 4 wisdom teeth extraction and was using the green whistle for pain. Being incredibly nervous (and emphasising this to him) the Dentist did not put my mind at ease. Very little about the procedure was explained, I had to ask a lot of questions around it which shouldve been disclosed prior. During the many injections, I flinched slightly a couple of times to which the dentist responded angrily and told me if I moved again then he wouldn’t do the procedure. After the procedure finished, he told me to go find the recovery room and sit there a while before walking out and leaving me to wonder around the practice to find the room wobbly and medicated. Before I left, he did not run through the aftercare with me or ask if I had any questions, I just got given a leaflet and was sent on my way, I even had to ask him to write me a prescription for painkillers because he forgot!!! Absolutely horrific experience from start to finish, I will not be going back.

Fantastic experience: I've had bad experiences with the other dentists, to the point where I didn't go back for far too long, leaving my teeth in a pretty bad way and needing lots of work. Lotus Dental have been great. Dr Sheran explained everything really clearly, and came up with a plan that would fix my teeth, but keep me comfortable at all times. Highly recommended, especially if you have a bit of anxiety about dentistry.

Negative experience: I wanted very minor cosmetic changes to my teeth and enquired about composite bonding to make my teeth look more uniform as they were already straight but some teeth were shorter one one side. They said it wasn't a good idea and recommended aligners. $6000 and one year later my teeth look exactly the same and it turns out they just don't like doing veneers/bonding on patients. If I knew that was their personal preference, I would've gone elsewhere. Throughout the process I mentioned that there wasn't any significant progress but was told that it was fine and it'll be noticeable at the end. Suffice to say, it wasn't. We didn't even take 'after' pictures because there wouldn't be much difference. I feel sick thinking of all the money I had spent for nothing. I obviously won't be going back.

Beyond the excellent care, I also found the value of a thorough checkup—including all X-rays and a professional clean—to be very well priced. It’s rare to find a clinic that balances technical excellence, patient-centred care, and affordability so effortlessly. I left not only with a brighter smile but with complete confidence in Dr. Callum and the entire team at Lotus Clinic. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had been putting off having my wisdom teeth removed for almost a year, but finally made the appointment with Dr. Sheran - and I’m so glad I did! The procedure was done upstairs in a new, clean clinic, and the whole experience was smooth, quick, and surprisingly relaxing. Dr. Sheran was extremely reassuring throughout, explaining every step of the process and setting clear expectations. There was no pain, and his assistant, Dua, was friendly and gentle. Plus, watching Netflix during the procedure (I may have laughed a bit too much watching Friends) was an added bonus! The aftercare instructions were clear, and I’ve had no pain or issues since - touch wood! I visited twice over the course of 3 months to have all four of my teeth removed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Sheran and this clinic to anyone looking for excellent dental care!

Fantastic experience: Received great service here. Doctor Ahmed was fantastic. Kajal at reception desk was also very helpful. My wife was in pain and needed the tooth extracted asap but previous clinic in fawkner made matters worse. Thank God that we got appointment at this clinic and Doctor Ahmed surgically removed the tooth in no time. Highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: After avoiding the dreaded dentist for several years I finally got the courage to organise an appointment with Dr Shruti Sharma, after reading about her approach with dental anxiety. I was not disappointed. She was amazing. She is very gentle and put me totally at ease. I even underwent a clean procedure even though I said I would never go through one of those again!! Dr Shruti took the time to explain everything to me in a gentle and non rushed manner and was patient and caring through all the treatment. Dr Mary identified a failed root canal and was exceptionally thorough and careful upon investigation and diagnosis. After consulting my specialist from there, I attended another appointment with Dr Mary who again was kind, patient, thorough and very mindful about treatment options. As a nervous patient, Dr Mary was incredibly informative and warm in her approach - addressing best approach right through her lunch break. Dr Mary’s excellence extends also right through to the reception staff. This business has a very evidently positive working culture and detailed, exceptional work. Highly recommend! I had a checkup and clean by Dr Sheran, who along with the Oral Health Therapist were so thorough and informative, frequently checking in during procedures to see how I was faring in terms of pain/discomfort (there wasn't any; they were very careful). Fantastic experience: Amazing and detailed service! I felt something was wrong with my tooth and was searching for a dentist who could see me on the same day. Luckily, there was an available slot at Lotus within an hour. Dr. Mary installed a filling, and the next day, I had already forgotten about my tooth problem. I also signed up for a dental check-up with Dr. Mary, and it was far more diligent than my experience at the previous dental clinic. I was informed about the kind of work that needs to be done soon and what I should monitor. I am definitely switching dental clinics!

Fantastic experience: I came for the name, I'm staying for the staff! I just had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Fiachra and was astonished at how little pain and discomfort I experienced, both during the process (which went much quicker than I thought) and afterwards. After getting ready for days being knocked out and suffering, I woke up the next morning with barely any discomfort. I didn't even need painkillers! Dr Fiachra not only really knows his stuff, his cheerful personality makes the whole experience relaxed and easy. I've also had a great experience with Dr Amy, who did the most thorough and pleasant check-up and clean I've ever had (and I've tried 4 different dentists in recent years). I never thought I'd be writing a review for a dental practice but for something many people may generally find very confronting, I figure this place and its fantastic staff are worth recommending.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t had a dental appointment in years, I booked in with Lotus due to the amazing reviews and they did not disappoint, Dr Amy was extremely understanding and knowledgeable, during my treatment she was extremely understanding and explaining what she was doing and why. The receptionist were wonderful to deal with and everyone was extremely respectful. I not only had everything explained in great detail at the end of my visit, but I also was able to discuss future plans and appointments to continue on with my dental care, they take into consideration your needs and they understand that some of these procedures can be somewhat pricy for people there was no pressure to spend more than I needed at the time for my procedure and we discussed potential costs for future treatment. Dr Amy, thank you very much for your time and thank you for being an amazing Dentist! Looking forward to seeing you again in the near future.

She was so patient and understanding and explained everything that was happening really clearly as she worked. Fantastic experience: Normally medical clinics are renowned for poor customer service, but this place is exactly the opposite. The receptionists are extremely polite and friendly and Dr Ahmed and his team are efficient, professional and very informative. A lot of dental clinics and medical centres could learn a lot from this place.

Fantastic experience: I am a dental patient who gets very anxious at the dentist and has had many awful experiences involving pain or a lack of understanding. Meeting Dr Shruti and the team at Lotus Brunswick has been a game changer. Dr Shruti really listened to my fears in our first consult and was really prepared for my first appointment. I have very sensitive teeth so all treatments are painful or stressful but Dr Shruti really does do everything to make it the best experience. I am nowhere near as nervous to go back and I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Possibly the best experience I’ve had at a dentist. The follow up call the next day was great too. Had some pretty awful experiences at the dentist, but I can’t imagine going anywhere else now. Believe the reviews - these guys are brilliant.

Fantastic experience: The service and care at Lotus Brunswick has consistently been excellent in the three years I’ve been a patient. During my most recent visit, Dr Alison Lau was able to answer for me a question no other dentist has in 20+ years, letting me know of a condition that I have and the impacts of it. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this place enough. As some one who has had a lot of childhood trauma in regards to dentists that has rolled on to adulthood, this place is incredibly supportive and calm. I am in need of some pretty extensive work and so far, I haven't felt as overwhelmed with everything as I have in the past. I started my treatment today and NOTHING hurt, not even the local anesthetic needle. The distraction of being able to watch something on Netflix while having the work done was also a welcome touch to ease the anxiety. I now don't feel as anxious about my upcoming appointments over the next chunk of time and it has spurred me on to get on top of visiting the dentist more often.
