Fantastic experience: I live 40 mins away but booked here because my other appointment was out this way and my health insurance covers this place. I went in without expecting anything aside from a teeth clean but the staff here are all so nice and pleasant. I think I’m just used to bare minimum customer service that I forget what good customer service really is. amazing customer service here, i highly recommend. Even if it's far, i will continue to come here now for my check ups Edit: 1 year follow up. This time I went for my teeth clean and the customer service was even better! I took my 9 months old with me and the staff was incredibly accommodating to my baby. The dental assistant who I didn’t get to catch the name of, was a young and lovely lady that took care of my daughter whilst Dr Patankar was doing my filling. My daughter was likely distressed wondering what was happening to me but the lovely young lady kept her entertained by turning on Miss Rachel, singing to her, holding her. I was very impressed with how good she was with a kid despite not even being a mother yet! Dr Patankar found the issue with my tooth as I wasn’t able to eat on my left side for a year due to a hairline crack on my tooth. She carefully looked at it and did the filling. Today I was able to eat food normally again without pain. She made a difference to my everyday life. I am also moving homes to the east which will take me 1.5 hours to get here but I will really consider it because not only did I receive amazing customer service, my daughter who wasn’t a client did as well! Thank you again

Positive experience: Mostly good but last time experience was not good at all.

Negative experience: I previously wrote a positive review based on experience with another practitioner at this practice with my young toddler. Unfortunately, my recent visit with a fill-in Dentist, Dr Anu Bala left my toddler distressed and me dissatisfied. While I understand that some challenges with young children are outside a practitioner’s control, several aspects contributed to my frustration: • Demeanour and language felt high-pressure for a young child. • Parents were blamed for not preparing the child mentally. • The focus appeared to be on moving to the next appointment rather than allowing the child time to adjust. • General anaesthetic had already been applied, yet the appointment was ended due to time constraints • We were advised that such sessions should allow 50 minutes, but only a 25-minute slot was booked. Bottom line: your experience may vary depending on the practitioner. I have no concerns about Dr Bala’s clinical competence, but I would recommend seeking a professional with more experience, care, and patience with children, and less emphasis on throughput. Unfortunately this means i will not be returning here in future.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 10 stars I would. Changed recently to Dr Jhalak and she is just fantastic. She is friendly, professional and kind. Had my first ever filling and was very nervous and she calmed me and cared for me like I was family. Brought my husband here too and we where impressed and we will definitely keep coming. Also the chair side nurses are kind and lovely too, not uninterested in the patient as some at other clinics are.

Negative experience: BEWARE - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I took my grandmother to Pacific Smiles Point Cook for a broken tooth and she was treated by Dr Y Thakar who placed a filling. Less than 24 hours later the filling came out leaving her in extreme pain. When I contacted the clinic to express my concern there was no sense of urgency or compassion. We were told the earliest available appointment was the following week despite her discomfort. We ended up going to the Royal Dental Hospital where they advised that the tooth could not be saved and removed it. I’m incredibly disappointed with the standard of care and lack of empathy shown. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic at all!

Negative experience: Today, we made a special effort to bring our daughter to your clinic—taking time off work, picking her up early from school, and driving all the way from Williamstown to Point Cook. Despite our tight schedule, we arrived just “16 minutes late”, only to be told we had to reschedule. While we understand clinics have policies, a little flexibility or consideration for families going out of their way would make a huge difference. Turning away a child (and wasting our time, travel, and preparation) over a short delay feels unnecessarily strict, especially when the appointment could have still been accommodated. We’re disappointed and hope the clinic rethinks its approach to late arrivals for cases like ours. Other medical providers often show more understanding.

Fantastic experience: My family received a General Check & Clean today by Dr. Jhalak Maniar. Her bedside manner, attention to detail, care and quality in her work was second to none!! Her dental technician Puneer was also very friendly, gentle and caring. Both made sure we were informed and comfortable, every step of the way. Negative experience: My filling was ripped during the general cleaning/examination, which I flagged with the dentist during the procedure. After enduring a terrible pain for a couple of days I was advised it has now caused an infection and would need a root canal or an implant. Cost of these procedures is $4000 or $5000 respectively. The clinic didn’t take any accountability for it washed their hands off by saying. ‘It can happen’ and showed no empathy for the trouble caused. The receptionist was rude and asked to book another appointment to get the works done and showed no care. When asked about sharing my experience with someone from the practice, I was asked to go ahead and leave a google review. Had to get the issue resolved with another dentist. Surprised with their appalling attitude, I would suggest to stay away from this clinic. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience and suggest that people steer away to avoid similar experience.

Negative experience: Dr Jhalak has seen me for preventative examination and a clean up. She is good with her work, communicated throughout the procedure, made sure I was in a comfortable position. She has also explained well about the outcome and what needs to be done. Also polite in her approach. I have already recommended her to my other family members. And I will be going back for sure. I have visited dental centre recently. When I visited last time I was informed I need a filling when I asked about the price I was informed after insurance it will be $61 but i was charged $21 extra. Communication and consent is the key but looks like its all missing when it comes to $$$. I have attached receipt in the photo session. This is so disappointing. Moreover they charged me $3.98 fee as card surcharge. Did not even bother to inform me. I could have paid cash. These small things matter alot and these centres make big money and still charge card surcharge. This is disgusting I am not going back to them again. Guess what these people will not leave a single penny with patients but when they make a mistake all you get is SORRY. I mean comeon this is ridiculous.

I was a new patient with an emergency appointment and the care and attention that I received form Dr. Jhalak Maniar was above and beyond. She was very gentle and made sure I was informed and comfortable every step of the way. Fantastic experience: I’d highly highly recommend Dr Kirti & Dr Prerana for their thorough professionalism. They were both extremely kind and made sure I was explained and informed everything I needed to know about my wisdom tooth extraction. My experience with them was seamless. They both always ensured I was comfortable, got rid of my nerves & most importantly saved me from major infection and specialist surgical extraction. I can’t thank them enough for removing my fear of dental visits and also teaching me the importance of regular dental check up. Thank you again and I look forward to seeing them again for 6 monthly/annual check up :D

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr Laleh Marvasti for my son.he was very anxious as he may need tooth removal. Dr Laleh did a fantastic job he came back so proud of himself. I also went again for myself and She took care of my tooth filling very well. She is very experienced and professional. I highly recommend her. Negative experience: Brought my 3yo daughter for an emergency check as she was in pain the day before. Dentist who saw her was so impatient. I thought this clinic was at least child friendly, but unfortunately not. They probably have no idea how much courage it takes for a child to go to dentist. We tried to condition and convince my daughter to go see a dentist which my daughter agreed and despite her anxiety, tried to cooperate. Until she was asked to do an xray, dentist was so impatient not even trying to explain to my daughter what she should expect. NO EMPATHY AT ALL. She shouldn’t be given child patients if she has no patience to deal with them. Dentist just told her “bite on this” took about a minute or two before i got to convince my daughter to do it, when she did, dentist told me to step outside because the machine will go around my daughter. The dental assistant was kind and tried to make an effort at least to make my daughter feel comfortable and at ease but the dentist, none at all. Her voice did not even sound caring enough, probably no training to deal with children. She did not even bother to go down see my daughter eye level. Again, she should NOT be given child patients in that case if she is not interested enough. Makes me think that she probably feels she will be paid anyway so just want to get it over and done with. She just said she will refer us to a paediatric specialist, hands me the referral paper did not even talk to my girl or say bye. Making it a very unpleasant experience for my daughter. Find the referral attached on this review that says she is VERY UNCOOPERATIVE. She didn’t even cry, didn’t even take 10mins. Just an impatient dentist who does not want to give a little effort to make a child feel at ease. So I’m putting this here so that if you have a child, don’t bring it to this dental clinic. You will be wasting time and money.

Fantastic experience: I have super sensitive teeth, Dr Jhalak Maniar has the most gentle hands that left me with clean teeth and no pain. She always check on me during the cleaning process, after washing for a while, she'd stop and tell me to take a break. She understands how her patient feels. I was mentally prepared for my next dental check up clean because of that.

Fair warning if you pay by card they will slug you with a surcharge, which is I think a little unreasonable when you are paying several thousands. Apart from that very happy with the service.

Negative experience: I would give them 0 stars if I could. Went in with a toothache from a previous fill about a yr ago. I could fill that there's a gap in the fill and suggested to remove and replace it. The dentist tried to convince me there was no crack and kept pushing for an x-ray because she didn't do the fill. When I decided to walk away, they still charged me for a "limited" examination. Also when I first arrived I made it clear to the receptionist that I forgot my medibank card and if I would be needing it. She told me that she had me in the system and that's fine only to tell me at the end that I because I do not have my card on me, I will have to make the claim myself.

Negative experience: One of the worst doctors. My partner had a root canal with one of the Female doctors and she did a terrible job. My partner in such a pain and they charged ridiculously high amount to fix the tooth but problem still there. I dont know her name exactly but If you guys dont know how to do the Job properly then don't do it and go for more training and study. Stop focusing on dollars and try to look after the patients. Seriously guys, please do not go to this clinic and stay away from them... I wish I remember her name. I wish you get the same pain and treatment the one you giving to your patients. Pathetic Doctor. Fantastic experience: First time to Pacific smiles point cook, fantastic experience. Right from receptionist Ms.Sadine, Dr Sneha & her dental assistant were all exceptionally nice. Loved the clear explanation and professional advice of Dr.Sneha. Would continue with the clinic for self and family.

Negative experience: I’ve had the worse experience with this dental group, charged a ridiculous amount of money without prior communication. 4 years later I’m still trying to get removed from their system, I’m constantly inundated with texts and emails.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sultana is amazing and is highly recommended - professional and gentle. TEN extracions and no pain. Next day still no pain. Will certainly ask for this amazing dentist again and sincerel hope Pacific Smiles will continue to use her services when she returns in 6 months ... we wish her well with her pregnancy. Staff should also be mentioed - nurses and reception staff. Always courteous. Their follow up the day after treatment is a nice touch.

Fantastic experience: I see the same female dentist Dr Kirti who is absolutely lovely, makes me feel so comfortable as I hate going to the Dentist. My Children also see her and she’s amazing with children that have anxiety with there mouths being open for long periods of time.

Fantastic experience: Everything was great... Reception was very helpful. They went out of their way to squeeze me in a tight schedule at the end of the day. Everyone was nice and friendly. I found Jatin to be a gentle dentist, making sure he minimizes the discomfort that usually comes with dentistry procedures.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sri is a great dentist that takes her time to ease my first time dentist kids, very patient to explain everything and ask the consent from the kids. Negative experience: Terrible service, would not recommend them! Also, strongly advise that you check what they are charging you for, because they'll look for any excuse to take money out of our health insurance! The dentist I saw here has poor customer service and bad practice. She prescribed me a weaker antibiotics which made my symptoms worse. She also did an incomplete clean up, which probably took 5 mins and I ended up with a cut in my mouth, which eventually became an ulcer. Despite all this, they still charged me for it.

NEVER EVER GOING BACK AGAIN. LITERALLY WASTED 20 minutes going there and coming back

Fantastic experience: Dr Yesha Thaker was amazing with my 4 year old who hit his mouth. Very clearly explained everything and was very polite and reassuring. So happy to have find a great dentist.

Negative experience: In my experience my dentist was amazing but unfortunately there were 2 billing errors caused by a miscommunication with my dentist. I was told only the manager can fix this, after waiting 2 weeks all i got from the manager was an apology and a follow up saying he would fix 1 of the mistakes but wouldn’t rectify the other. Unfortunately this left we me with an out of pocket of almost $400 which I was not prepared for; will not be going back.

Negative experience: I attended the clinic yesterday, and this happened when The doctor accidentally cut my inner lip, and then I got stitches, and they kept saying nothing happened; that's not fair to me. I've suffered lots of pain, and now I'm not even able to eat or drink, and after lofts of suffering, they've charged me; I'm disappointed, and now I'm afraid of all dentists Unfortunately Google didn’t post my photo and I’ve deleted I think the reason is the awful condition of my lip

Negative experience: Generally having a very friendly atmosphere and enjoy visiting there. But an appointment with Dr. Pooja was really like I wasted my time and money. Have absolutely no courtesy and very rough in handling tools. If you ask questions you will be advised for another appointment is waiting though there was none outside.

Fantastic experience: Despite my daughter's fear for the dental treatment, Doctor Kirti handled her so well. She calmed her quickly, explained the procedure succinctly and formed a great connection with her so that the procedure went smoothly and successfully. She has been of great assistance to my daughter with dental treatments and I am very grateful for that and would highly recommend her. I'm likewise appreciative to Chanchal and Puneet as they were exceptionally supportive all throughout the procedure.

Positive experience: such a lovely and professional clinic, I have seen Dr Jatin and Dr Sneha both very thorough and friendly I usually find the dentist uncomfortable and intimidating but this clinic makes it fly by!
