Fantastic experience: We’ve been going to Anisa Hatami for over 9 years. Cannot fault her. She is thorough, incredibly friendly and warm, and helpful. She was my children’s first dentist and remains their only dentist. Thank you also to the team who are so caring and supportive.

Fantastic experience: Just came from Redfern dental , filling fell out and I had a hole the side of a golf ball in my mouth, within minutes of arriving I was in the chair, stretched out watching Netflix as Anisa went to work. The ladies couldn’t of been nicer, very professional, super friendly and extremely good value when you see what some people are charging… Also brand spanking new facilities. I couldn’t fault them.

Negative experience: I had a really good experience until I went to pay. My $180 checkup and clean quickly became $350 due to taking photos in chair and x-rays. At no point was I told that handheld photos would cost $30 each. I then realised during my checkup I was being upsold whitening, mouthguard for sleeping and even an electric toothbrush. I feel really gross and a bit sad about the whole experience. Please do yourself a favour and ask the cost of everything as you go and don't be trusting because they are friendly.

Fantastic experience: Great practice. Our whole family regularly attends for check ups. Dr Anisa and Dr Rebecca both do a great job of making our young children comfortable and happy when they visit.

Fantastic experience: A sleek and modern practice. I've never felt pampered at the dentist before, but definitely did here! They have a TV on the ceiling so you can watch Netflix during your procedures. But beyond the flashy exterior and creature comforts, they also deliver excellent service with thorough examinations and a detailed, personal discussion of your teeth and dental needs. Would give more stars if I could.

Dr Anisa Hatami and Zara were extremely gentle and caring, providing the best quality of service I could have possible asked for. Fantastic experience: I can not recommend this dental practice enough! Due to having a lot of orthodontic work when I was a child I can be quite nervous about going to the dentist. However the team here were simply amazing from the moment I walked in, there was a sense of calm and a lot of friendly smiles. I was offered a drink of water and even during my clean given ear phones to watch Netflix on the tv above me. I felt the most relaxed I have ever felt in a dental practice. We also spoke about invisilign and all the different payment options. I never felt I was being upsold something I was simply given all the different options and what the cost would be and how it works as its something I’m looking to do in the near future. She is thorough and seeks the best possible outcome whilst making sure you are comfortable and the process works for your lifestyle. So happy with my teeth!

Fantastic experience: Such a great dentist. I made an appointment after a friend recommended the clinic. I have seen many dentists over the years, and this by far is the best clinic I’ve been to. I felt very comfortable throughout. Dr Hatami explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions or concerns I had, from gaps to sleep apnoea, to reviewing old root canals and gum issues. It’s the first time I’ve walked out of a dentist and felt they weren’t cash grabbing either. My teeth have never felt cleaner too! Thank you, thank you!! ☺️

Fantastic experience: I completely trust Dr Raisa. She’s a great Dentist and Dentistry is an art! I was a Dental Hygienist for over ten years, and I’m a tough patient with high standards ;). She genuinely cares and has a beautiful office with noise-cancelling headphones and television to stream during your appointment. I was so comfortable in her chair I almost fell asleep.

Fantastic experience: If I could give ten stars I would. I had my first appointment today with Dr. Anissa Hatami. They've really thought about the customer experience, from the registration process, which was smooth, through to the check up and clean, and everything in between. Every step was explained clearly and I felt I was in very safe hands throughout the process. My teeth were badly stained from neglect and not basically not going to the dentist regularly. The experiences have been not great in any prior dentist I've visited. However I now will have no hesitation in going back! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Anisa was absolutely amazing with my kids’ first dental experience (2 & 4 year olds). She has an incredible gentle and open manner to ensure my kids were comfortable sitting in the oversized chair with overhead equipment. It didn’t take long for them to trust her and open their mouths! She’s extremely thorough and clearly communicates with you. I would definitely recommend Anisa for all ages, she is both professional and personable. The practice is absolutely gorgeous and calming, and the reusable tote bag is a winner!

I have had trauma from previous dentists, feeling rushed, judged and my discomfort disregarded. Anisa is entirely different. From the minute I walked in, it did not feel clinical like other dentists, but like a practice that genuinely cares for their clients. I experienced compassion not judgement, calm instead of hurry, care instead of silence. Worth every (competitively priced) penny! From customer service, to ambience, to dental expertise, this practice has it all. I have no hesitation in recommending Anisa, give these new dental rooms a go!

Fantastic experience: I first started seeing Dr Hatami at Teachers Health - the happy result of a random pairing with the first available dentist at the time. I was instantly impressed with her 'chair-side manner' and thoroughness. She was always efficient yet thoughtful, taking pride in her work and her connections with her patients. And then she wasn't available so I went to the next dentist there - going through 3 more practitioners before I realised the magic she brought to that practice was hers alone. I googled her name, trying to see where she'd ended up, and was delighted to find out she had opened her own practice in my area! I booked in for both me and my husband and we've both been so happy to find her again. The space she's created on Redfern St is a physical manifestation of her spirit. It's sophisticated but welcoming. Relaxed but efficient. Every staff member I interacted with oozed with hospitality and care as much as she does herself. And once again I was impressed with Dr Hatami's attention to detail with my appointment - and I left with clean teeth and a cheerful disposition to set up the rest of my day. It's not often that a visit to the dentist is a pleasant experience - but Redfern Street Dental offers just that. I'm so pleased to have found Dr Hatami again!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't be happier with the seevice and treatment I received at Redfern Street Dental. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dr Anisa Hatami was exceptional. Went in at very short notice with a pounding toothache and left an hour and a half later after having an extraction which was performed painlessly. Even got to watch Netflix while in the chair.

Fantastic experience: A very easy and seamless visit to the dentist! Apart from the beautiful design, the team were kind and welcoming. The practice is well equipped with imaging equipment so love that everything can be done in one visit. My son required 2 teeth extractions and Dr Anisa was amazing! He was kept calm and cared for throughout the whole process. Having the noise cancelling headphones and access to netflix was also a big help. The dental hygienist Zara was also so lovely and caring towards him. He loved his tote bag with stickers, toothpaste and toothbrush. I also had some dental cleaning done and started the imaging process for Invisalign. Dr Anisa was thorough and patient explaining the next steps. Also, the strawberry flavoured fluoride treatment - so nice! Overall a very positive experience and we'll definitely be back.

Dr Tasnim and Zara made me feel so comfortable, they showed general interest in questions I had about my teeth/plan and just about me in general - incredibly nice people. They were not trying to push me in and out at all like I have experienced in the past. Don’t even get me started on the clinic. It’s beautiful and feels like a day spa, I was even asked which show I preferred to watch Netflix on before starting my clean. Could not have been more relaxing. If you were like me and unsure whether to try Redfern st Dental but are looking for different clinic options, look no further. Dr Anisa was so lovely and her assistant was also a paramedic, so knew exactly what to do. They kept me safe and reassured and stayed with me until I recovered and my partner was able to collect me.
