Goulburn Valley Health: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Wysoki poziom obsługi
Negative experience: Worst, unprofessional, uncaring hospital. They don't call this hospital 'Death Hospital ' for no reason.
Negative experience: I can’t understand why they’re making a booking for a patient every 7.5 minutes while they’re unable to push them through that fast. I understand there’s demand but this seems like a cash grab from Medicare to help them get money while we wait in the rooms for over 3 hours to be seen. Please can someone take over running the schedules and allot correct appointment times or at least give us a realistic time to be seen. I have lost a days work instead of starting late only a couple weeks before Christmas.
Negative experience: my friend went here and the doctors were not helping making it worse
Fantastic experience: GV Hospital have been just amazing during my first 3 months of my cancer journey. Breast nurses and staff and surgeons have been so kind caring determined and incredible. I am truly grateful for all they have done for me so far and look forward to the rest of my journey in their care
Negative experience: If I could give it a zero star i would. Worst ED in Australia.
Fantastic experience: would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Dosa Ward. Your care, professionalism, and compassion are truly exceptional. From the doctors to the nurses, every member of your team treats patients with the utmost respect and kindness it genuinely feels like being treated like royalty. Your warm smiles and unwavering dedication make a world of difference. It’s clear that you all take great pride in what you do, and it shows in the way you care for your patients. Thank you once again for the incredible work you do. You have a truly wonderful team who go above and beyond.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Negative experience: I am making a complaint about the poor handling of my recent scan booking. After my surgeon requested a CT scan and ultrasound, I handed the request form to the front desk. I was told the form would be sent to Imaging and that I would be contacted. I never received a call, only a booking letter a week later. On the day of my appointment, I cancelled work (losing income as I am casual), fasted for 4 hours, and attended the hospital. When I arrived, I was told I could not have the scan because Imaging never received the request form. I was then sent back and forth between Imaging and the surgeon’s clinic, but my scan still did not go ahead. This is completely unacceptable. It caused me financial loss, unnecessary stress, wasted time, and left me without the medical test I was referred for. This is not the first time I have had this issue — a similar situation occurred with an ultrasound in Euroa, and only because of the staff’s flexibility there was I able to complete the scan. I expect the hospital to take responsibility for this failure and to address the lack of communication between departments so that patients are not put through the same experience.
Fantastic experience: I recently had my first baby at Rosewood (GV Health) and I’m so thankful for the incredible midwifery care I received. Michelle and her team were outstanding — supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring from start to finish. As a first-time mum, I felt completely safe, listened to, and empowered throughout the entire experience. The calm, compassionate environment made all the difference. I even said right after the birth, “I could do that again!” — and I meant it! Thank you to the amazing midwives at Rosewood for helping bring our little girl into the world with such care and kindness.
Fantastic experience: I had the first part of a root canal today at the dentist in the Shepparton hospital, it was done by 2 amazing students and they did a great job making me feel comfortable and helping me with my anxiety.
Fantastic experience: Recently l have been involved with the Haemotology Department at the GV HOSPITAL. The staff were excellent, efficient An special thanks to Linley Smith who went out of her way to ensure my information was collated and placed onto my file, in rediness for my review Also thanks to Dr Sonja Raj and Dr Kim. Many thanks Sharon Stanton
Negative experience: I am regular for the dental department as l am getting dentures but trying to call at 3pm with a annoying voice thanking me no wait time or music just please don't leave message. very disappointed in the phone service exceptional service once you get in always a pleasure even the students amaze me how good they are. I just need to rebook appointment but couldn't even call to cancel
Negative experience: My father was admitted to your facility on 14/05/2025, accompanied by my mother. They reside approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from the hospital. Later that evening, the head nurse in the Short Stay Department informed my mother that she was not permitted to remain by my father's side and suggested she sleep in her car if she was unwilling to return home. This was despite my father being a private patient in a private room. Given the significant distance from the hospital and the known dangers of rural roads at night, it is completely unacceptable that my mother was left with no option but to sleep in a cold car overnight. Had she been advised earlier—well before 9:00 PM—this could have been managed more appropriately. The way this situation was handled is appalling. I will be escalating this matter. Furthermore, to the nurse involved: I will be identifying your details in the coming days and intend to make this incident public. No family should have to endure this kind of treatment while supporting a hospitalized loved one.
Fantastic experience: A big Thank You to all DOSA staff at GVH. My recent day surgery experience was excellent. The nursing staff, pre and post surgery, were efficient, attentive and helpful. The surgical team were fabulous and cured me of my Local Anesthetic phobia, with their reassuring advice and painless administration technique. They even rewarded me for my 'bravery' by playing my favourite Bruce Springsteen songs throughout the surgery. Thanks guys, like I said in Theatre, it's the most attention I've received in 50 years. Still, I hope not to see you all again any time soon, if at all. . Cheers
Fantastic experience: I recently had a procedure at the Goulburn Valley Health DOSA Ward, and I can honestly say the experience was outstanding. From start to finish, the staff demonstrated excellent communication, compassion, and genuine care. A special thank you to Preston and theatre nurse Carmen — your kindness, professionalism, and reassuring presence made a world of difference to me. I felt truly looked after and supported throughout the entire process. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication and the incredible level of care you provide.
Negative experience: On Friday the 28th of march my husband was discharged at 12 midday but had to wait for his script to be done it was until nearly 5.30 in the afternoon when he recieved it 5and half hours later after my husband had asked them several times during that time at the nurses desk in the u2 ward kept telling him they are getting it organised the doctor is extremely busy surely to God it does not take that long to do a script I then came in to pick him up thinking that the script had been done I made some noise about and they wonder why you get agitated because the hospital is the last place you want be hanging around when you are getting discharged the young doctor finally come into the room with his script he copped a mouthful for taking so long he said they were busy and was apologetic I told him not good enough I don't think you would like to wait 5and half hours in a queue see how your patience would go gv health not very good service and the food you serve out to your paients is very average looks and tastes very ordinary
Fantastic experience: 这里的人很热情,我很喜欢这里
Fantastic experience: Excellent and patient staff. Thank you to Mandira for her empathy and understanding
Fantastic experience: Thanku to the staff, nurses, and especially DR Petorius and his teamat GVHealth. We are Blessed to have Free Medical services Please be Patient..
Fantastic experience: Great friendly staff at ED and Acute Stay Unit, thank you to all the staff who have helped me with my care and put up with me while I was in hospital, keep up the great work
Negative experience: I had my baby at GV Health 5 months ago. My waters broke Monday afternoon and on Tuesday morning I was in agony, screaming. They refused to check how dilated I was because they didn’t want to risk infection or bring on labour and said I wasn’t in labour. They finally said they’d check and I was 5cm dilated then they said I’ll be induced in a week. I was screaming for another 2 hours and they kept saying I wasn’t in labour even the dr said the same. Then they checked again and I was 8cm dilated then they quickly ordered the epidural. The anaesthetist punctured my spinal cord. That night and for the 7 days after I couldn’t walk or get out of bed, I told them I had a head ache and can’t walk (couldn’t even go see my baby without heavy pain meds). They said a spinal puncture wasn’t possible and refused testing. On day 7 I got discharged but told them I wasn’t happy with my care so I told them I want to speak to the person in charge so they sent me down to ED to get admitted and the anaesthetist in charge told me I don’t need admission it’s just the stress of being a new mum, go home and take Panadol and nurofen and rest. I was admitted again. The next day I was discharged again: 2 days later I had an MRI and it showed a huge tear in my spinal cord and the fluid from around my brain had drained. I had 3 epidural blood patches which killed. Then they left me on my own. I couldn’t stand up or walk without screaming for 3 weeks. I laid in bed for 6 weeks straight. I was living in excruciating agony for at least 4 months and at one point I wanted to end my life from the pain. I still get stuck and need assistance standing up and looking after my baby, I still can’t move my neck to the right. I have not been okay and the toll it’s taken on my mental health is indescribable. I go to Physio in Yarrawonga, Cobram Chiropractic and Simply Massage (remedial) in Cobram weekly & I’ve seen and felt a huge change. Thanks to those 3 people above I am improving and I am starting to be happy again but I will never take my family or myself to Shepparton GV HEALTH ever again.
Fantastic experience: I have nothing but praise for the doctors, nurses and Ambos of this wonderful hospital. Second to none
Negative experience: I rang up about my father as he was in having a hip operation and so as I'm in qld yes it can be frustrating too a point but the woman I spoke too I found she was a bit arrogant in a manner so I'm sorry but a bit disappointed....
Negative experience: They Suck!! Really bad service!!
Negative experience: Never been mucked around as much medical system absolutely useless
Negative experience: It’s a shame this is the only “emergency” department we have within a 45 minute travel distance to the next. I was on blood thinners and had shown to the ED with what felt like a broken foot (broken bones on blood thinners are extremely dangerous. Can cause internal bleeding) and I explained the urgency to have this confirmed urgently. The staff kept me waiting for 7 hours before notifying me that XRAY doesn’t operate within the hours I had attended and I’m welcome to come back in the morning or wait another hour for it to open. I waited another hour, then another and another. I was finally XRAY’d and waited another 2 hours to be seen with the results. I was told my foot wasn’t broken so I went home. I received a call from my local GP 3 days later asking how my recovering is going with my BROKEN FOOT after she’d received the results. Absolutely unreal this place!!! Check your bloody degrees of you “doctors”!!!!!!
Negative experience: It's a dump there is no quality of care the nurses do more than the Dr Do and for most of the time both Dr and nurses are rude and the waiting time is just super 2 hours with chest pain then when I did get in they did nothing and sent me to Melbourne I would not take my dog there
Fantastic experience: amazing medical imaging team!
Negative experience: Attended Emergency Department with chest pain and elevated blood pressure almost 4 weeks ago. Stood waiting for triage for 30 minutes and then waited a few hours to see someone . They ran a few tests , took a chest X ray and the doctor basically told me my condition was caused by low thyroid and B12 levels . Unsatisfied I then went to see a private cardiologist in Shepparton who immediately referred me to a Alfred Hospital specialist who found I had a 90% blockage in one of my coronary arteries .I may have had a massive heart attack and died. I will be saying a lot more about the Emergency Department in GV Hospital to the General Manger about the total lack of care and help that I received
Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend Shepparton dental to any human they where so brutal it's not funny,I was not giving any intention before they started to remove a tooth I told them to stop and walked out,I'm not the only to be treated so poorly. See you in court....
Fantastic experience: Well done to the dental students who assisted me with my dentistry needs with great care and professionalism today, both worked fantastically as a team. Bill provided a very pleasant experience and did such a wonderful job. Very welcoming, friendly and informative and great quality service. Five stars
Negative experience: World best doctors at here. Even not suggest a panadol to patients. Thanks
Negative experience: If I could give them 0 I would. Ambos and many nurses are great, but the horrible ones outweigh the good ones. Literally told them I was going to kill myself if I didn’t get help, 3 different people turned me away. Do not get sick in Shepparton.
Negative experience: After 7hrs of being there. I'm no better then I was before. The ambulance help more then the hospital did and now I'm back to where I was at before I rang the ambulance. That hospital is the biggest joke and if the is a young child there your nurse will play with the kid instead of giving you your medication. When they do give it push you out the door 5 mins after without seeing how u go with the medication
Negative experience: Please spend money on doctors instead of buildings.wait more than 2 hours for my 6 years old.I totally understand if anyone need urgent doctor’s attention I’m happy to wait and let them go first. But today Ed staff sending people in who were behind us in waiting list.so we decide to leave.hope I don’t have to go back there again.im giving 0 stars.
Fantastic experience: I presented to ED, waiting time was low, was admitted to FT ended up in a desperate situation, the staff were so amazing and comforting I couldn't have been in better care.I was so supported and I do remember a doctor in ED telling me I am going to be ok, kept reassuring me, to him I say thanku so very much. All the nurses, everyone who helped with my care, I can not express it enough, you are all amazing, Thankyou. Kellie madigan
Positive experience: Great hospital. I love the staff nurse, and the drs are amazing. Hospital food is actually good, and the new facilities are great. I can't wait to see it finally finished as a non patient
Positive experience: Got my appt on time
Positive experience: Although emergency was unnecessary slow mostly due to people who were not emergencys. After admition fantastic service by under staffed and over worked nursing team. Lack of specialist doctors resulted in a ambulance transfer to the madness of Epping hospital.
Negative experience: All they think about is the money then people welfere
Negative experience: Gv health: Come for the surgery, stay for the complications
Positive experience: Tip. Don't get sick But staff are hard working, probably need more but who wants to work there and here
Fantastic experience: I had some skin concerns that I really wanted too improve first visit I wasn't to impressed I told no1 but today Neil was the doctor i seen an he is amazing, very understanding and knowledgeable of my condition more then happy To give the medical information I noticed immediate results with my skin, treatment within 30 minutes exactly, the results after leaving the emergency department today very impressed I will tell ten people just today great experience.
Fantastic experience: Specialist consulting suite, warm, friendly staff. Consultation with Wonderful Dr , caring, informative and friendly. Made for an overall great experience. Thankyou
Negative experience: Has not changed from my first bad experience over 14 years ago, and you wonder why people get angry. I have 0 faith in this hospital but where else do we go? It’s time to take notice of patients!
Positive experience: The food sucks but the nurses are mostly friendly and helpful
Fantastic experience: Recently had procedure in the day surgery. Staff wonderful with communication and professional care. Thank you
Negative experience: I have 2 hernias that may have become strangulated, am in incredible pain, came in with a referral, wasn't given any pain relief for 2 hours, it has now been 3 hours and I am still yet to see anyone, yet I have watched someone who had an asthma attack be seen before me. 10 years ago I had a burst appendix, and almost an identical thing happened, I was sent home with something to ease my stomach and almost died on the day of my 21st birthday, the level of neglect that occurs in this hospital is so enormous I believe it needs to be entirely re staffed, I would actually like to know their mortality rate because I would not be surprised if it wer abysmal
Fantastic experience: Good helpful staff
Negative experience: The man who did the scans in ultrasound should be working in a morgue where he can’t hurt people or question why I went there not somewhere else. Makes me appreciate melbourne!
Negative experience: Terrible experience at casualty
Negative experience: A nurse said that I was pathetic and that our generation realised on olazapine. (I take it when I'm over stimulated) she lied and told my that phyc said I couldn't take it(spoke to phyc in the morning the next day and they said they didn't say anything). The nurses then sent me home the next day because of my reaction. I know I shouldn't of sworn but I'm going to have a reaction if u tell me I pathetic. (I was having a mental health break down when that nurse said it).
Fantastic experience: Has had huge upgrade including new buildings in last couple of years, I have Been a patient at GV Health Hospital a few times and all the staff and Doctors are always willing to help and support and care for you! Great work GV Health, always caring for the community.
Fantastic experience: My friend was rushed in with a serious injury to a critical part of his body and the service, execution and results were all world class. An industry-leading establishment servicing a wonderful regional town.
Fantastic experience: Not pleasant visiting any dentist but you are quickly set at ease by the friendly staff and they know their stuff. I'm happy I went and got looked after so well.
Fantastic experience: The nursing, doctors and staff are sensational
Positive experience: They need to change their visiting hours, for 2 lot's per day again. The staff are fantastic.
Negative experience: After experiencing the GV Hospital when they had my 91 year old father in their care I am SCARED to death that I may ever need treatment there. In Emergency 10 attempts to establish an IV before calling for specialist to do it. After 5 hour wait success in 1 go in less than a minute. Perforated his bowel during procedure they didnt have permission to do. Not given any pain relief because pharmacy didnt have what doctor ordered. Admitted with Pneumonia he couldnt speak and was left 24 hours plus without access to prescribed thickened water. A jug of regular water and glass was on his table which he couldnt drink. The amount of meetings Ive had with ward managers and customer relation staff and all I have is " Im sorry you feel your fathers experience didnt meet your exspectations"
Negative experience: Horrible, absolutely shocking, didn’t give me my medication and after I had to ask them for it they laughed. Disgusting, wait times are ridiculous too.
Fantastic experience: Posting for a friend.... Chloe from the mri department reception was amazing. Also the ladies doing the mri...Kind and very helpful. Thank you even on a sunday !
Fantastic experience: The care I received from the staff here was phenomenal! From the kitchen staff cooking my meal, to the cleaners. The nurses were kind, caring and wonderful. The doctors took wonderful care of me
Negative experience: This hospital is absolutely disgusting most of the doctors and nurses need to go back to school. Constantly wrongly diagnose my children with something they obviously don't have, in the end having to go to another hospital all because shepparton hospital have the lack of care for patience.
Negative experience: At Rosewood clinic, they ignore people based on community despite their appointment timing. This is also racism. If you don’t accept that type of behaviour then you also don’t have a right to behave like this to the patients. I always come 30mins earlier and always the last people who is called the name 50mins later!
Negative experience: Staff not wearing masks.
Positive experience: Mostly good service
Negative experience: At Rosewood clinic, they ignore people based on community despite their appointment timing. This is also racism. If you don’t accept that type of behaviour then you also don’t have a right to behave like this to the patients.
Negative experience: 108 Orr St. Shepparton
Fantastic experience: Good everytime I've been there
Fantastic experience: My father recently received end of life care at GV Health medical unit, and the care he received from the staff here was exceptional. My family and I were treated with dignity and respect and dad was in great hands. The nurses, despite being extraordinary overworked, were so accommodating, giving the utmost care, and truly awesome service in this most demanding of roles. I commend every individual I dealt with during this very difficult time for us. Special shout out to Dot in the front office for going well above and beyond the call of duty. Your compassion and care shown to my mother during what was probably the lowest point in her life, was magnificent, and truly appreciated by the rest of the family. Thank you one and all.
Negative experience: Driver with company logo exhibited road range and drove in a dangerous and erratic manner and put others on the road at risk, driver got off on O’herns road and stuck his finger up. Very unprofessional behaviour when representing a business.
Negative experience: I have a friend dying from Cancer in palliative care, I'm in Darwin. Rang twice, left two messages. PLEASE call me back so I can leave a message / phone for my DYING friend's Mum. Nobody has returned my calls. I am horrified and appalled
Fantastic experience: Would like to say a really big thankyou to Lisa Lennon and Sharon Maroney For going above and beyond when I was in casualty for the third time last week Finally 2 dedicated nurses who saw how crook I was.. After being sent home twice. By others
Negative experience: My wife went to ED in an ambulance after a fall at home. After reviewing the xrays the doctor sent her home with a diagnosis of strained groin and a script for painkillers. Wife hobbled around home for a week in agony. A week later we had a previously arranged appointment with our local doctor and they put her straight into a wheel chair as the xray report had come through to them clearly showing a fracture. She was immediately taken by ambulance back to GV Health and operated on. I lodged a written complaint and GVHealth eventually called me back and acknowledged they had failed in every aspect of care.. But didnt apologise, just admitted faults in every stage of their procedures
Negative experience: Terrible system. No visitors irrespective of vaccination status. Needs executive authority which conveniently isn’t obtainable on a weekend. Does any other hospital in the state have these ridiculous restrictions? Not when I’ve searched visiting hours on the net for larger hospitals in Melbourne… Tried twice to get through to the medical ward by phone and rang out. Relative admitted 3 days ago with slurred speech and decreased mobility. Shouldn’t be that difficult to get basic information re a patients well-being. Not a criticism of staff there but the policy makers need to know this is a very, very poor service they are providing.
Negative experience: What a joke this place is my father's surgery put off endless times for him to go in again today and wait 3 hours to be told they don't have any beds this hospital is the worst someone needs to do something as it's very disgraceful
Negative experience: I took my dad too the Shepperton hospital and I made a big mistake I should of taken him too the (circus or too the zoo instead ) .The help from the nursers and doctors was just a complete joke the first thing I heard was that they inserted the wrong feeding tube then I hear that he was not creamed up before going too the radiology center at genesis care they told me it was my responsibility too come and apply the cream for him and the other thing I saw was the doctor comes in the room does his paperwork in front of me and my dad and then he loses his pen and asks me and other patients where he put his pen this happened all while my dad spent his time a week in hospital. Disappointing disgusting and upsetting :( :( :( P.S I understand that all the doctors and nurses are under a lot of stress and overworked at the hospitals in general but they still have a duty of care and a responsibility at the hospital and it does not matter how sick the patient is or how old or young they are in general especially with what is happening with Covid-19 in Australia and around the world. Thank You
Negative experience: the most rudest customer service i have ever come across, i am very disappointed how i had been treated on the phone. the lady i spoke to should be taken away from being a receptionist
Fantastic experience: Inpatient Ernest Canning admitted 18/04/2022. Many thanks for your excellent attention and return to home.Especial thanks to Doctor Emily Menzel and all involved. Doing well. Regards Ernest Canning
Negative experience: The doctors here are clueless. Do not go here if you need serious help because they stuff you around for a month before telling you that you need to go to Melbourne. You could be dead by then. The nurses know more than the doctors! It's unbelievable!!!
Fantastic experience: Doctor Emily and all medical staff was wonderful tonight at the hospital. This people are truly heroes Sad to see so many young ones overdosed. Way we let our government to kill our kids???
Negative experience: Nurse in E.D called me stupid while talking to another nurse after looking at my file, while I was standing right beside her. Mind you I speak english. Worst ever emergency department I've been too and I am from a third world country. Never thought I would receive such treatment here in Australia. Lady should get a different job. Wrong industry.
Negative experience: Biggest joke in shepparton!! Could die from infection with the wait times at this circus.
Negative experience: I went to this hospital today in the emergency because I had so much allergy and swelling which was called hives but worse The girl in the reception named Can it was around 4.30pm the way she talked was very rude and I had a feeling it was more of racism. I have a question for the heath department patients only come if they have a worse condition but the time line you have to wait and how the staff treats patients makes it worse. I don’t talk about all of the staffs I came here yesterday too they were so much better then today.
Fantastic experience: I've always been treated with respect, care and patience at this hospital. They do a great job.
Negative experience: Should close the place. Cannot organise anything. Three bad experiences. Deserve there low rating
Fantastic experience: Absolutely blown away with the service we received at gv base hospital. My daughter was brought in by ambulance and from the moment we walked through the door the staff were so kind, and extremely patient. The children’s ward facilities were amazing and we both had a comfortable sleep. I’m so grateful for the care my daughter received from the nurses and doctors I don’t have a single complaint about any of the staff, from the emergency doctors to the covid check in area. THANKYOU
Negative experience: Terrible service , how anyone can say its good. I do not know. The waiting time in. Emergency is pathetic. We waited for over 8 hours then to be told to be there at 7am next morning to wait hrs upon hrs again. . this is pathetic plus the service my brother inlaw got was disgusting when his doctor wrote emergency on his notes. He sat in hospital for 10 days and they did nothing then to be sent to Melbourne because his condition had worsened. So don't tell me its a good hospital. . I have heard so many bad stories about this hospital. Totally pathetic.
Negative experience: They closed the covid site earlier because they are tired. Ffs we registered online we made plan and move from quite far to get tested but they want to go home earlier.
Positive experience: I've always received high quality care given they're woefully under funded and short staffed.
Fantastic experience: I like to thank all doctors and nurses in intensive care unit for there kindness and caring looking after my dad who was a patient in there and passed away last Friday and his funeral was on today Friday thank you all so much
Fantastic experience: My father was recently in palliative care until today when he passed. The care from the entire team; from the meal deliveries, the nurses and the doctors and the admin team was exemplary. They truly cared for my father and family and friends who came to visit dad in his final days. They are the true heroes during this difficult Covid time. Thank you to everyone in the Mary Coram Unit in Shepparton.
Negative experience: Took me almost 4 hours to see a doctor and get an x-ray.
Negative experience: Wish there was no stars. My experience while in intense pain on the ER floor was traumatic. 5hrs later I was seen. Another 3hrs of no pain relief, I gave up and ended up getting treatment elsewhere.
Negative experience: My Daughter and myself went to the GV Health Emergency Department on the 2/11/21. We have just moved to Shepparton and live in the lovely area, and our family are very happy here. Our experience with this Emergency Department was below any standard of any Public Hospital we have been to. My Daughter was in sever pain lying on the floor vomiting into vomit bags for several hours before anyone came out, and the reason for any one to come out was because I approached the triage desk many times and ask for a nurse to come and look at her. That took at least another 2 hours for some one to come out. A nurse gave her Panadol and something for the vomiting. Within 2mins she was sick again. After several hours she was finally assessed. A doctor came into assess, her still no pain relief given, doctor took some blood tests and said he would be back to have a nurse give intravenous drip which never arrived. After hours of waiting we left to seek help from another Medical facility. I am very disappointed and angry at the service you provide for the Shepparton and surrounding areas. I will be going elsewhere in the future.
Negative experience: One star because negative stars are not available, DO NOT GO HERE for mental health medical treatment, inexperienced patronizing staff just happy to take the pay and tick the boxes, pretty insulting way to see health dollars spent.
Negative experience: The worst experience ever
Fantastic experience: I just had a minor surgery completed and a stay over at the base. From the Doctors to the Anaesthesia team and trainees everyone was so great! The nurses are absolutely amazing and so caring. For a hospital stay over it was actually very pleasant
Negative experience: The Dr's are terrible. The nurse are wonderful. Don't go there unless you want to die
Negative experience: My father was in gv medical ward for a week and his treatment was disgusting. So disappointing especially when he is a private patient. He wore the same clothes he checked in wearing for two days without a wash until we asked. No tv the whole time, which I am informed happens quite frequently. Asked for the basics so he could go to the toilet and told sorry that's not my job. An elderly gentleman should be treated with dignity. I am an ex nurse and are ashamed.
Fantastic experience: My elderly mother was seen by the most loving and caring doctor at the Emergency Department at this hospital. His name was Doctor Rasheen( not sure of correct spelling). His care and efficiency was top rated. The nurses that were also caring for her were amazing and compassionate. My dear mum had just lost her son the night before, and their special care was done with genuine compassion. Thanking you so much.
