Fantastic experience: I was devastated when I first received a $4,000 bill for wisdom teeth removal, as it was completely out of reach while studying full-time at uni. Discovering Absolutely Dental’s community give-back day, with 50% off all procedures, was such a huge relief. Yesterday I had three wisdom teeth removed for an incredible price. I went in nervous and scared, but the team made me feel so supported, one of the students even rubbed my shoulder during the procedure, a simple gesture that meant so much. I’ll always remember that kindness, and I can’t recommend Absolutely Dental enough for the care they provide.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here from reception to the dentists themselves provided such a great experience for my 3 year old daughter's first appointment. They're so friendly, considerate, fun and the place itself really caters for young kids. Thanks!

Negative experience: This dentist is a joke. I went there about 5 years ago and got a quote for a top plate. They gave me a quote and I accepted it. During the whole procedure I kept asking them that the quote was correct because I didn’t want any surprises in the end…I asked them at least 5 times. I was reassured each time that there quote was correct. In the last procedure where I had to pay my final bill they put another $1000 on top. I was absolutely furious. I was given just one week to pay. I was disgusted. I was flying down to Melbourne to be with my grandchildren only a few days later, and had no money until my next payday. I do not recommend this business to anyone. They are not trustworthy to give correct information and quotations. Do not trust them as far as you can kick them. Very dishonest with their quotes and billing.

Fantastic experience: Two initial appointments and extremely happy with what's ahead for a new smile

Negative experience: first and very bad experience, friendly staff but the unprofessional way the doctor communicated with each other made me very angry and angry . i just came to get a cavity filled in my molar, i explained everything to the first doctor and then suddenly another doctor came in and cleaned my teeth while i didn't come to get my teeth cleaned. then the second doctor told me to make an appointment for a filling in the next few days, but today i came for a filling not a cleaning, it is bullshit it not professional I will never go back and will never recommend to anyone. Sooo angry

Fantastic experience: Went in with my partner so he could have a tooth removed after another dentist ruined his tooth completely. So going to a new dentist was a bit nervous for us both.. but! At absolute dental from the moment we walked in to the moment we left and everything inbetween was amazing ! Couldn’t have been more accommodating and the customer service was the best we have ever experienced at a dentist office. We have found our forever dentist office from our first visit today. Absolutely amazing. Thank you much again.

Negative experience: Terrible first experience. The dr didn’t inform prices and was trying to push for more unnecessary treatments just for the money. Def won’t recommend to anyone

Fantastic experience: Hi there, I just had my first visit here. My previous dentist is in Melbourne but we moved to Townsville. Time to find a new dentist. I am very scared of the dentist, trust me. I'd rather hit my finger with a hammer. First impression was great. Appointment was reminded by sms 48 hours before. When you walk into reception, it is very pleasant. Friendly welcome. Back room to fill out forms were prepared with envelope with our names on it. Anyway, just had Khearne cleaning my teeth. She and her lovely assistant took all the fear away. To reduce the pain and discomfort to a minimum I received numbing gel. Whole consultation took about an hour. A little discomfort. But both looked after me and made me very comfortable, as much as possible at the dentist. I am recommending this place and if you are as scared as me, just give it a go

Fantastic experience: Sounds weird but it's always a pleasure to visit this dentist. Jason & Teagan are just so good at what they do & have the ability to put their patients completely at ease. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is a little worried or concerned about their dental visits.

Fantastic experience: We travelled down from Cairns to see Dr Lindsay for the release of my 7 month old’s oral ties. The practice itself is immaculate and the way the reception area is presented reminded me of a wellness spa! There is a children’s play area with arcade games next to reception which kept my kids entertained whilst we checked in. We were gifted a swaddle upon arrival and staff were extremely accommodating and warm, which put my nerves at ease. The bathroom was lovely and clean with baby changing facilities. Dr Lindsay herself was very professional and great at explaining the procedure and what to expect afterwards. She was very warm with my baby and the procedure itself was done extremely quickly. She managed to calm my baby before bringing her back to me and the recovery has been great with no reattachment in sight a month after the procedure - thank you Absolutely Dental! Exceptional clinic.

Fantastic experience: Best dental team in Townsville. The admin team are very friendly and inviting to new clients, and the doctors are fantastic. Had all four wisdom teeth removed with no issues at all with the procedure. Will be returning for all major dental work.

Positive experience: i'd give 5star if i had something to compare it to. But, A Grade Professionalism & Service all the way through making the cost and duration of your your journey with them well worth the results. They are with you all the way. I recommend if your gonna do it..just do it!

Fantastic experience: For years now I have wanted to fix my teeth but my extreme dentist fears kept me away. After being recommended to Dr Nicole I decided I’d go in for a consultation to see what options I had. Dr Nicole went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and put my mind at ease from the very first appointment. It’s now been a few months since having my new smile and the confidence I have is unbelievable! I absolutely love smiling and I never thought I’d say that! Even through some complications Dr Nicole was phenomenal at making sure I was supported and safe through every single step. If you are unsure or scared about getting a smile makeover I promise you Dr Nicole will change your life ❤️ I’ve also seen some other dentists at the lakes practice and don’t have a bad word to say! Every member of staff is amazing to deal with and you can see how passionate they are!

Fantastic experience: This was the loveliest dental experience I have ever had. I’m traumatised by childhood dental experiences but I was warmly greeted by Trisha who noticed my tension, calmed me and took me on a tour of the practice. It does not feel like a dental practice! Then I met Dr Ali and his assistant Siena. They both made the whole experience as good as going to the dentist can be . They were both very professional and at the same time made me feel important and that they cared about me, while lightening the mood with chatting and a few laughs. I walked away from the practice with one of the best cleans I have ever had. Thank you to the admin staff and my dental team. Awesome job and I will see you next year.

Fantastic experience: I first experienced absolutely dental a few weeks ago for a tongue tie review for my 4 month old son. From the moment you walk in the facitly you are greeted with a smile. You feel welcomed almost like a family member. Every staff member I encounted were very friendly and went over and above to make my experience enjoyable. Fantastic customer service. Fantastic experience: I have been putting off dental work for years and really dreading going until I plucked up the courage and booked in for a consultation. I ended up having an extraction done on the same day, and have booked in for further work. Everyone here was very welcoming and put my mind at ease - I am not afraid to go to the dentist any more and I highly recommend Absolutely Dental. I couldn't be happier with the service they have provided.

The greeting was warm and welcoming and was given a tour of the clinic as well as information regarding their Spa and other treatments available. I hope I have the correct name, Jacki, she was extremely lovely from the second I walked in to finalising the payment. I was given plenty of information regarding the clinic and a gift upon arrival as it was my first visit. Dr Miles and his assistant were understanding and accomodating to my current medical condition. The entire experience from beginning to end was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Dental, The Lakes is an incredible experience from start to finish. Walking in you feel how beautiful and luxe the business is. Welcomed by their amazing admin team, you are given a tour of the facility and offered comfort items during your treatment such as neck pillow, blanket, Netflix and even a hygiene kit to freshen up your teeth beforehand. Tea, coffee and water all complimentary! As a new patient they gave me a welcome pack with a water bottle and welcome letter. I was able to fill out my new patient forms in a private study nook which I was so impressed by! All X-rays on-site, fantastic computer systems and very genuine caring health professionals. I’ll definitely be back for sure!!

Fantastic experience: As a first time patient, I found the admission process to be positively unique and patient friendly. The staff were professional and highly informative. The doctor seemed very knowledgeable and patiently explained the procedures and why they were required. He clearly is passionate about his work and very respectful of patients with dental phobia.

Negative experience: Outrageous pricing!!!! My Fiancé had a teeth clean, X-rays and check-up in Bowen for $150. These guys charged me $555 for the same thing then discounted it to $295 as it was my first time, still double the price!. Shop around!

Negative experience: My partner went in to have her teeth seen to and got some fillings then was assessed to have a further procedure I was only told would improve her teeth. Upon asking the nature of the procedure we were not given much information at all. Following this we spent more money on a “model up” of a finished product and was finally presented with a plan and quotation. I arranged for a second opinion using a different dentist and was informed that the plan did not make a lot of sense and proceeding with the dental codes quoted was unnecessary which confirmed my suspicion at the time. May leave me subjected to confirmation bias but I believed the information from the second opinion and my own research to be accurate. I went back to Absolutely Dental for clarification and was told “if I am going to be pain then I can go elsewhere” it was exclaimed that they do not look at the dental codes they were charging us for and did not intend to perform exact procedures quoted (being the codes). They refused to provide a revised treatment plan and arrogantly stated they would charge us that amount even if they did. I felt as though Absolutely Dental was charging us for work that was unnecessary and believe through the dialogue I had that the codes were inconsistent with the intended procedure. I was disappointed that Absolutely Dental were not at all interested in repairing our customer relationship or restoring our trust. This review has been modified and I apologise to Dr Dinesh for any offense my original review may have provoked. Fantastic experience: Travelling around Australia makes it hard to find service providers quickly when an emergency arises, especially those who you feel you can trust. And when a molar broke in half, yesterday, I found myself in such a predicament. I was so lucky to have struck gold when I found Absolutely Dental. They treated me like a VIP from go to woah! From the moment I walked in the door they were wonderfully kind and helpful, (I was already on crutches from a knee injury) and did everything they could for me. Dr Ali checked my damaged tooth and explained everything in detail and made sure I was happy and understood what procedure was necessary. He could have opted for a more expensive procedure, but didn't - whereas I'm sure other dentists I've visited in the past would have. The tooth was fixed and looks terrific and all the staff were fabulous. Special thanks to Dr Ali and Britney for your fabulous caring way and extra lovely nature. You are very special. I wish all dental surgeries were like Absolutely Dental! ❤

When I walked into absolutely dental the staff were all amazing, greeted me straight away, all staff were happy and smiling and the building itself was beautiful did not feel like a dentist. Ruth was absolutely amazing and made what could have been very painful a non event. I am not the bravest of souls when it comes to dentistry so i will definitely be using these guys in future for any other procedures i require. Thank you Ruth for taking the time to calm down a 40 year old chicken :).

Fantastic experience: IF YOU ARE SCARED OF THE DENTIST YOU NEED TO COME HERE!!! As someone who had a terrible experience with my last dentist, Absolutely Dental are an absolute delight. I'm normally pretty terrified and not only did the staff look after me and reassured me with their great service amazing premises but Dr Mark also made sure that as I am currently 25 weeks pregnant that I barely felt anything having my wisdom tooth removed. The ladies who did my clean and scale also were the sweetest and I have never had such a great experience with the dentist, so much that I'll be back again and again. See you in 6 months!!

Fantastic experience: Well. Its been to long that I have been to the dentist (Due to dealing with dentist that just want the money and not fixing the entire tooth problem). So. As I arrived at Absolutely Dental, the ladies that invited me in with smiles and comfort to be at the dentist was next to none. (Even wearing the masks due to government covit rules, you could tell). So after a short wait. Dr Yen greeted me for my consultation. What a pleasure to get all information required, before I chose the easy procedure to get a bad tooth removed. Now back to life with no ache in my mouth. Or my bank balance. Will be booking in again to make sure no more teeth problems in the future.
