Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of this practice. I have been attending this practice for four years. I have to travel over an hour to get there but it is so worth it. Every staff member I have dealt with has been kind, considerate, and professional. I have had to have some serious dental work in my time there , including having an impacted wisdom tooth removed, and they have been amazing during the procedure and in their after care of me as a patient. If you have ever had a negative experience in the past and are scared of going to the dentist, this is the Dentist for you!

Fantastic experience: I took my child to SIA Dental because of a toothache. I called to make an appointment and they arranged a visit for the very next day. The service was very good and fast. The dentist was kind and caring, and even called after the tooth extraction to give extra advice and check on my child. It was a very good and professional experience. Fantastic experience: I’m changing from SIA Essendon to Burwood due to moving home. Experiences from appointments for both my 11 yo and myself were pleasant. A bulk-billed x-ray next door was referred prior to my appointment. I then saw Dr Esther Chin for a partial falling-off of old infills. She carefully examined residual fills and decided not to do anything major but repair for this visit, which should be sufficient for another 2/3 yrs. She also explained future treatment options should the repairs failed again or damage developed closer to the nerves. It is not unusual for getting hard sells these days I guess I will stick with them for a while.
It sounds like you've had a positive experience with SIA Essendon and a reassuring first appointment at Burwood with Dr. Esther Chin. Switching dental practices can be a bit nerve-wracking, especially with an 11-year-old, but it's great that both your experiences were pleasant.

Fantastic experience: From booking to treatment, (which by the way was 2 hours start to finish) the ladies were wonderful. The dental nurse (so sorry I can't recall name) tended with care and was very capable, I even got a little massage! Cassie at the front was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable; I have never had such assistance at a dental practice. and Dr Chin worked professionally and well informed and removed two of my wisdom teeth with ease. Would absolutely recommend to any new patients as the service here was 5 star.

Negative experience: Of courses the answer is ' I am not sure about the actual cost. Sorry. I was told and confirmed 2wice that they are with Bupa but after had servie and over the phone with Bupa I was told no they are not the member of Bupa appointed. And price has gone up more than doubled when it was trade as Dental Me. Another SCAM.

I have spoken to the staff member who assisted you during your appointment. They informed me that you did not bring your health insurance card, which is necessary for us to process a claim. Unfortunately, we require either a physical or digital card to do so. I understand that your phone did not support the Bupa app, preventing you from accessing a digital card.
To help reduce your out-of-pocket expense, the team member offered you a discounted package for $199, which you could then claim directly from Bupa.
Comparing this to what you previously paid at ME Dental in 2019, your out-of-pocket expense would have been $30 less, even with the general increase in expenses over the past three years. We've found that our patients appreciate having clear and predictable fees, making it easier for them to budget for their dental care and maintain good oral health.
Our team member spent two hours trying to assist you with this matter, including speaking to your health insurance provider directly.
While we are a provider for all health insurance companies, including Bupa, we are not a preferred or platinum provider. However, many of our Bupa patients are happy with the level of service and professionalism they receive at our practice and are willing to pay slightly more for their care.

Negative experience: I do not recommend. I took my toddler twice to see Adina because she didn't check her teeth properly the first time. I called after the first time to book another check because I noticed she failed to tell me there were other problems with my daughters teeth upon checking it myself later that day. I thought the appointment would be out of good will but was still charged. After the second appointment, again, I noticed other things the dentist forgot to tell me about. I then had to resort to reaching out to a different dentist upon referral from a friend who thoroughly checked her teeth and addressed everything I was concerned about without me telling them about it. Don't waste your time or money and go to somebody who'll put the effort. PS Her dental assistant however put a lot of effort in trying to entertain my daughter during the visits.

Negative experience: 5 stars to the reception staff who were friendly and quick to help. The reason for one star is the dentist. I took a emergency dental appointment through Sia Dental as I had pain in neck and wisdom tooth area which started around Saturday and it was intense pain so I thought instead of waiting for the dentist i usually go to (who was on a holiday at the moment), I would take emergency dental appointment which was scheduled on Tuesday. By Tuesday the pain was gone and I was planning to cancel the appointment but I thought, might as well get it checked by the dentist. The dentist (Won) had a look and "cleaned" the wisdom tooth as he thought the underlying issue might be the tartar buildup in that area. It took him barely 2 minutes to "clean" the tooth and I was charged $141.25. I didn't have issue with the money if it means that the tooth was cleaned properly. Next day I checked that wisdom tooth to see if it was cleaned properly and I was shocked to see that there was still black tartar buildup on the side of the teeth. The attention to detail was clearly missed and the tooth was barely cleaned and then filled with white filling. $141.25 for a extremely badly cleaned tooth which took barely 2 minutes. Yeah, no I am never visiting this place again. I would rather suffer the pain of toothache and get it properly done by the dentist i often visit who is way cheaper and does a billion times better job than Mr. Won. UPDATE - They asked me if I would like a complementary dental check with them which I denied.

Fantastic experience: I felt like having a dental emergency so I talked with Evie in the morning time, she was so friendly and angelic all my concerns and matters. I ended up eventually as visiting SIA dental Mugrave instead of hear but if there's a chance in the future, I'll come here for great staffs.
