Fantastic experience: Dr Wales is a thorough, compassionate, caring gem. All the staff are friendly and warm and easy to speak with and help organise what is needed.

Negative experience: I tried two different doctors at this medical centre for my 3 year old son. We saw the first doctor to review his hernia after from he complained of pain in the area. Dr Jessica Chen referred him to have an ultrasound. We saw the second doctor Dr Saied Tahmesebi to get the results and for him to review my son 4 days after a trip to ED due to viral induced wheeze. He required Ventolin, steroids and monitoring to ensure his heart rate didn’t stay at unsafe levels at the hospital. We needed a new management plan and scripts for medication to share with daycare and keep at home. Firstly, during this appointment we found out that the ultrasound was for the abdomen not the abdomen wall meaning we had paid for an ultrasound that did not look at the hernia at all so was completely useless. Secondly, it was very clear he wasn’t knowledgeable or experienced dealing with children. He provided an asthma plan and scripts. In the appointment I trusted him to have the knowledge as the doctor and didn’t have the chance to thoroughly question as I was managing my son, however after I reviewed it again later on that day I was horrified to find that he had given a plan appropriate for an adult. I consulted with my dad a retired GP, partner who had childhood asthma and day centre manager who were all shocked by the plan which suggested daily use of Ventolin if well, did not specify time periods between application, recommended steroid use at home if unwell over three days before going to ED. This plan goes against all other recommendations given before and put my son at risk. He also did not give repeats of scripts meaning I didn’t have enough medication to give to daycare and keep at home. I will have to take a second half day off work to go to another doctor who is experienced with children for a new plan asap.

Negative experience: Poor communication and poor customer service. It is not recommended if you are booking for a child or a baby.

Dr Wales embraced his need for independence,his neuro diversity and somewhat eccentric character and listened with genuine interest to his many questions and thoughts, He found her supportive,helpful,respectful and considerate and looks forward to seeing Dr Wales in the future.The location was convenient and easy to find,parking good and the receptionists most pleasant.

Negative experience: Never never go to this medical center as the reception (Ashly or Ally?)will call you 3 mins before your appointment and tell you , you are not eligible for bulk bill because your child has not been to them for more than 2 months. However 4 days ago when you called them, they didnot mention anything. Last min , their mail concern is not help patient but charge you extra! Cannot believe the service such terrible. I have been to many other medical center , they will definitely at least tell you when you make an appointment. Not last minute and push you to accept the private billing ( maybe this is the strategy?)

Fantastic experience: Very clean and well-maintained facility. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Dr. Amir was attentive, listened carefully to our concerns, and provided thorough, thoughtful advice.

Negative experience: DO NOT COME!!! They provided the WRONG PRESCRIPTION. The pharmacist double check with me if the medicine is what I need, so I know they gave me the wrong prescription. The doctor here use GOOGLE to search what diseases you may have and also use GOOGLE to search the answer when you ask a simple question about your symptoms. Imagine you receive the wrong medicine because of the wrong prescription and it damages your body even worse. Very disgusting and unprofessional and irresponsible doctor. I will never come again and will never recommend here to anyone.

Fantastic experience: We've seen a several doctors at St Leonards family medical center for our children and they are all through and have a great bedside manner. We never had to wait for a long time for our consultations as well. The nurse, Zoe is amazing and she is so efficient and gentle when giving immunisations to our children.

Fantastic experience: An amazing, friendly medical centre. There are a large range of qualified, friendly doctors that can help you with a large amount of issues, and if they can't, they will refer you to someone who can. I specifically usually have appointments with Dr Therese Wales, and she has never failed to help me, always a kind soul. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to aid those that may need any physical aid too, such as moving chairs so a wheelchair user may be able to sit in the waiting rooms, or offering an arm to someone who may be unstable. Overall, this is definitely a really great place to go when you're looking for a GP.

Positive experience: Overall I very much appreciate the service and the support I have received, especially from my G.P. Dr.Therese Wales. My only negative was that today I was told that I would have to wait for a call from Dr.Wales to authorise a prescription, which meant I waited for hours keeping me from calls I wanted to make on the house phone (I do not have a mobile) and going down to the garden to collect some greens, only to discover when I eventually contacted reception that the script had already been sent to the pharmacy 3 hours ago. Had I been notified I would have had a much less stressful day.

She is the most thorough, patient, understanding doctor who is always nothing more than supportive, kind and lovely. I haven’t met anyone like her. She will listen to you, explain everything clearly and take action on helping your health to the best of her abilities. Any health concern I have, she is able to answer, explain and get it treated for so quickly. When I have been my sickest throughout years, she’s been a godsend because she genuinely cares for her patients. So overall, love this practice! :)

Fantastic experience: My Anastasiia got very sick. She was coughing in the rain. I liked how the doctor examined her. He made decisions quickly, did a test, and in the evening explained the action plan to me—what to do if the test showed different results. The result came in the same evening. Very professional. Now we know that she has pneumonia, and we can start treatment. Last night, she almost didn’t cough at all because I gave her the pill the doctor recommended for the night. I’m grateful to the doctor because I’m afraid to even think about what could have happened if we hadn’t gone or if the wrong decisions had been made.

Fantastic experience: Visited Dr Saeid Tahmasebi for a full body skin check. He was extremely polite, professional and thorough during my consultation. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to keeping an eye on potential skin cancers. The practice is lovely and clean. The reception staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
