Fantastic experience: Meow Meoooow!!! My name is Mickey and I'm a black domestic shorthair. I highly rate these guys as dentists. The local vet was booked out and they fixed me up with implants and at a reasonable price too. They were also super understanding about me being a cat too. Negative experience: Recently got a small filling done on my right tooth , he was done in 20 minutes only showing me the work done as I had gotten off the chair. Filling is noticeably uneven , I had to go back later that day for him to fix , only for him to tell me that he couldn’t fix it if he added more it would look completely uneven?? 4 years ago previously got it done here and a different dentist did an awesome job.Teeth were perfect. However this time I’m extremely frustrated and unsatisfied .

Fantastic experience: Firstly I was so relieved to find your practice open on a Sunday as I was suffering terrible pain from an abcess behind a tooth that needed to come out. The lovely receptionist booked me in for 11am that morning. When I was called in a beautiful young lady dentist sat me down and listened while I explained what was going on, and especially listened to my fears of dentistry from childhood trauma I went through in the 70's. Sara was so gentle with me I pretty much didn't feel a thing!!! I need other work doing, so as long as I can see Sara, I will be back to Pacific Smiles Dental Kiran Kishore

Positive experience: The practice is conveniently located next to Westfield in North Lakes and is open 7 days. Street parking is available. I booked an appointment online using their website and came for my first Sunday appointment. While it's convenient, be aware of the potential Sunday surcharge if your health fund doesn't cover the cost of your treatment and the card surcharge for using a debit or credit card as per the signage. The dentists are skilled and make you feel at ease. I have always received friendly and professional service. The receptionist who served me today was helpful and ran a quote for an upcoming treatment plan upon request. This assisted me in anticipating the out of pocket cost and determine whether I wanted to proceed with the recommed treatment as per the treatment plan. She also booked in the next appointment for me.

Fantastic experience: I recently had some intensive work done by Dr. Siddiqi and was very impressed by the result. I did not need to use the painkillers prescribed, despite having 5 stiches. There was virtually no sign of bleeding and I was fully healed within a short period. My dental situation has improved dramatically due to this procedure. Dr. Siddiqi is an extremely talented periodontist and I am extremely lucky that he is able to see patients in North Lakes. I fully recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Cumberbatch today and he was fantastic. Shook my hand and took me though, made sure I wasn't in any pain which can be difficult given I have a low pain tolerance and his communication about everything he was doing was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend going and seeing him if you need to see a dentist, he's worth the wait to get into.

Negative experience: Poor reception staff. Booked an appointment 6 months in advance, they said they tried to call and did not leave a message, did not let me know they were cancelling my appointment. I was told i need to be available to confirm my appointment better if i want the appointment that i had already booked. Makes alot of sense.

Fantastic experience: Reception staff are so welcoming and friendly, helping to put you at ease before even seeing a dentist. I had my second visit today, seeing Dr Parisa Ghanavi. I had two extractions. Dr Parisa and the dental nurses are awesome. Both procedures were skilfully attended,,completed quickly and pain free. Dr Parisa and her nurses constantly checking I was okay. I will not go anywhere else, that’s how satisfied I am with my experiences to date. Thank you all at Pacific Smiles, I thoroughly recommend this practice and dentist,,especially if you need a lot of work done or are nervous attending a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely petrified of the dentist. Tears, shaking. Hyperventilating The works.. I had an appointment and procedure done today by Dr Mark, and he out me at ease for the moment he introduced himself. He was kind, took his time and spoke to me about everything he was doing. I'm a middle aged woman who refuses to go to the dentist and walked out the dentist smiling because of Dr Mark. Thank you for being so kind.

Positive experience: I give a 3 star overall rating, I advise requesting dr mark for a 5 star experience, I have had other dental technicians there that I can not even rate , unfortunately they have had a major impact on my rating score, just request dr mark for a 5 star trouble free service and don’t risk problems with others

Fantastic experience: My son and I recently attended the practice and saw Dr P Ghanavi. She was amazing with my son!! He is 3 years old, needed a filling and has never done anymore than sit in the chair for fun. Dr P Ghanavi Explained everything she was doing in a kid friendly way, she let him feel the tools and even squirt the water. It was exactly what he needed (and me) and it was the most positive experience. I highly recommend Dr P Ghanavi for any kids who are going for the first time, or anxious about going.

Negative experience: I had fillings done here recently, and within less than a month, one of them has already fallen out. Now I'm in a lot of pain and the earliest appointment I can get is over a week away. It’s really frustrating to be left in pain with no immediate solution, especially when you’re paying for a service you expect to last. I’m not happy with the lack of urgency or availability. Wouldn’t recommend if you need quick and reliable care. I appreciate you reaching out, but I’m disappointed with the way my situation was handled. When someone contacts you in pain from a toothache, I would expect them to be prioritized for an appointment as soon as possible. Instead, I was told to call back the next morning at 8:30 AM to schedule, which doesn’t seem to make much sense when dealing with urgent pain. This approach could use some improvement.

Negative experience: Disappointed have never attended before, needed to attend with my son due to having a spring dislodge on my sons braces leaving a approx 5cm stainless steel rod in his mouth connected to his braces He spent 30 minutes refusing to remove it, took a photo which showed the indent in his cheek from the tip of the bar still refusing to remove it telling me our orthodontist should provide an after hours service? Only when I stated the hospital advised it to be removed that he could pierce through his mouth he agreed to remove it Only took 5 minutes to remove it, but just a big thank you for the $200 bill

Fantastic experience: My experience of Pacific Smiles Dental at North Lakes has always been pleasant. I've been going there for a number of years and the reception staff are attentive and polite. Dr Jeffrey Xiao is friendly and efficient and always light hearted but professional. It's never my favourite appointment to anticipate, but I always go from there wondering why I get so anxious. Whether it's my 6monthly check-up and clean or other work that needs to be done, it continues to surprise me how seamlessly the appointment seems to go. I'd highly recommend giving them a try!

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling. Try to charge you hundreds more than quoted, and phone you last minute to keep changing your appointment times (3 times!) and then rudely threaten to cancel your appointment when you say you have work and can’t move. Very unprofessional will never be back

Fantastic experience: Had a wisdom tooth extraction by Dr Rivzi Mahamud. Was told there would be pain the following day and have had none now on day three. Instructions for care after the removal were provided and clear. Definitely shows a level of care in taking care of patients. 5 stars

Fantastic experience: My Daughter had her first tooth extraction with Dr Mark. She was extremely nervous about the whole thing but was quickly put at ease when Dr Mark assured her it would be quick and easy. He was very patient and calm the entire time. My daughter had questions about every little thing that was happening to her and he was kind enough to answer all her qs with a smile. Every tool he used was explained in detail so she understood what has happening throughout the whole thing. Reception team was also friendly and quick =) Thanks for the awesome service guys, we'll definitely be back.

Negative experience: I have been attending this place for last 4 years regularly , every six months. After seeing Dr Dilys Tian In January, made a follow up appointment in July 2024. No one contacted me regarding change in the working schedule of Dr Tian and when I contacted the centre myself, I was informed that the next appointment would be in October 2024. You guys might be busy but this is pathetic and abysmal response from you for your regular customers. Absolutely no sense of ownership of the patients, but just treat them as a number, No more pacific smiles for me.

Fantastic experience: Look, I'm not a fan of the dentist by any means, in fact I avoid it till it's a problem but not since coming to Pacific Smiles North Lakes. They really do care about the patient & take account of the costs associated with dentistry too. Dr Mark is exceptional in his knowledge but most importantly he makes you feel safe and calm. I have to go back again soon but this time I'm not dreading it. Don't be like me & leave it. I've finally learnt that Dentists make the pain stop, not cause it. Thanks Dr Mark & everyone at NL.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency on a Sunday morning. I called and was provided an immediate appointment. I experience a lot of dental anxiety, and Mark Cumberbatch and the dental assistant both provided calm reassurance and continually checked in to make sure I was doing ok. I was given all my options including risks and costs.

Negative experience: HORRENDOUS PRICING. $410 for one X-ray, then he filed a tooth for 10 seconds before picking out a piece of food that had lodged in and caused pain (unlike my usual food stuck/floss pain that I take care of myself obviously.) $410 ...WOW that floored me. Wonder what a root canal costs!?... Your first born no doubt. Won't be back but they do have nice people in there...just a shame the company price gouge.

Fantastic experience: Dr James Cheng is awesome. Was very nervous for my first trip to the dentist in a while and the office staff made me feel right at home and at ease. Got in for an emergency extraction first and Dr Cheng was gentle and swift. Second appointment he fixed up my main concern and was friendly and put me at ease. The hygienist was on the ball and super accommodating. Looking forward to working with the team at Pacific Smiles North Lakes and getting back into the swing of regular dentist appointments.
