Fantastic experience: Dr. Laurence is very professional and truly cares about his patients. He was super gentle during my cleaning and took extra care to make sure I was comfortable throughout the process. He also explained everything he was doing in detail, which I really appreciated. My teeth feel amazing, and I left with a bright, fresh smile! Staff are very friendly too.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience here. The check-up and clean felt very rushed, the whole appointment was over in less than 15 minutes. The package I booked included X-rays, but the dentist said I didn’t need them, even though I still paid the full price, which didn’t feel right. The fluoride was also applied very quickly without a brush, adding to the overall sense that things were being done in a hurry. I left feeling like my appointment was more about speed than quality care.

Negative experience: Spent like 6 mins cleaning my teeth, did not check them and tried to push me out as quickly as possible. I had to ask for X-rays which he did begrudgingly. I didn’t even trust what he was saying about them. I’m not into giving reviews like this for business’ but I noticed another person had given a similar review, so this isn’t just a one off experience.

Negative experience: $199 for a 6 minute clean and checkup. When I asked at the end about the quality/health of my teeth, dentist said he didn’t really check. Also didn’t check wisdom teeth when I asked whether something was wrong as I had pain. Very pushy to lock in w 6 month follow up - safe to say I will not be returning

Negative experience: Cleaned my teeth in less then 5 minutes, left a lot of plaque in my teeth and didn’t polish my teeth properly, very unprofessional and won’t be coming back here, told me I had 7 fillings and got a second opinion from a more reputable dentist in the CBD and told me I only had 4 fillings. They also advised me that a lot of dentist will try to tell you that you’ve got more fillings then you do just to make extra money, will never go here again

Positive experience: Just wanted to say thanks to Dr Gruskin for helping with some tricky & tough procedures (deep roots, tough job!) and also to the dental nurses who were really nice. Yes. I will return more regularly - just slip me some laughing gas - though we did already laugh through it! I went yesterday and cleaning has gotten easier! Thanks Mark P.S - joking about the gas but i knew someone who had it on request (anxiety maybe).

Negative experience: I booked 3 x children in for check up and clean. My first child he took less than 8 min to clean, scale and unnecessarily x-ray, my 7yr old. My 2nd child 9yrs, dentist did an even less caring job only cleaning some teeth and blamed my son for moving too much for dentist poor work. They then wanted me to make 3 seperate follow up appointments for 3 x small Fillings, in my youngest. I had complained at this stage and asked if he could do a good clean on my 12yr old, he then abused me and kicked us out for questioning his professionalism. I have taken further action and made a complaint to Dental Council NSW…

Fantastic experience: Dr Laurence Gruskin is a friendly, patient and professional dentist. And the price of the sevice is reasonable too. My mum and I will go to see Dr Gruskin even though we have moved to Central Coast. FIVE STARS ARE ONLY FOR DR GRUSKIN AND THE NURSE, NOT FOR THE FRONT DESK LADY WHO IS IMPOLITE TO ME AND MY MUM!

Positive experience: I was able to book a last minute appointment on the online booking system last night, and got a 930am spot which is great. The service from the dental assistant was lovely, the dentist himself was efficient and communicated well. The price was astronomical for a 10 minute filling though, so I'll definitely be going back to my other dental clinics who are more reasonably priced with equally nice service.

Fantastic experience: Sonya, the practice administrator was extremely helpful, polite and friendly both on the phone and at the reception counter. She booked us in at short notice to have a broken tooth repaired by Dr Gruskin. He did a really good job in a quick and painless session and was able to eat lunch later that day with no problems. A very responsible and caring business.
