Negative experience: I have just returned back after waiting for my prebooked appointment for 1 hour. I planned dental extraction with dentist 1 week ahead bit had to wait for one hour and I had to leave because I have family commitments as well. I think this is very unprofessional and irresponsible. I assume dentist booked another patient clashing my time thinking she could squeeze through and kept me waiting. Will never go back. Reception was rude as well. Very disappointed. Dentist can refuse treatment but I think they need to let patient know if they intend to. I have been started on antibiotics and I can not receive treatment on time. Very disappointed, money has taken over professionalism and ethics.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend pacific smiles at Greenhills. I have seen several dentists at the practice and they are all professional and friendly. The receptionist and staff and nurses are also friendly and professional. My most recent visit was with Dr Joshi for a check up and clean. Dr Joshi is a truly genuine guy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone, be it an adult or child. Dr Joshi puts you at ease and takes good care of you throughout your visit.
Fantastic experience: I unhesitatingly recommend dr restripo and his team from pacific smiles greenhills for my recent implant surgery. Very professional, friendly, and up to date with the latest technology. The service was also reasonably priced. The procedure was quick, painless and all due diligence was taken. just as soon as anaesthetic wore off my mouth felt completely normal and I could resume normal eating etc. thankyou

Negative experience: I had a very negative experience at Pacific Smiles Greenhills. May last year I went in with a sensitive tooth with a mild dull ache. It was an otherwise perfect tooth with no fillings. I was told the tooth was cracked and needed to be extracted. I asked if anything else could be done. An attempt was made to drill into the crack which I've come to understand is an incorrect treatment. When that didn’t work, I was pressured to have it extracted. I declined, so a filling was placed instead, but it was too high putting more pressure on the tooth and causing more pain than I originally had. I felt rushed into a decision and wasn’t given clear options. I ended up in a worse position than when i went in. Thankfully, I got a second opinion at another dental clinic. They took the time to explain everything properly, referred me to an endodontist, and confirmed the tooth was viable and worth saving. They corrected the filling, placed a crown, and now, over a year later, I’ve had no pain or sensitivity. The tooth is perfect. I sent feedback to Pacific Smiles via email and received no response, which was extremely disappointing. If I had followed their advice, I would have lost a tooth which was perfectly able to be saved. I highly recommend considering a different dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rijowana Rahman Nipa is a magician with kids! She has such a happy and vibrant personality that kids are so drawn to. My 18 month old toddler didn't want to leave her office during his first visit to a dentist. Dr Nipa creates a "chicken balloon" and makes us all laugh before she makes the process of cleaning teeth fun! Highly recommend Dr Nipa if you have kids that are scared to go to the dentist. Looking forward to our next visit in 6 months.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with Dr Daniel Samaan. He was great, explaining every step, previous experience with dentist when young had me very apprehensive but without any need. Extraction of large molar was without issue or pain.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment last week with Juan Montoya at East Maitland Pacific Smiles. No small talk, just asked what the problem was, made his own observations and took my tooth out as it was necessary. Painless removal in the chair and was in and out all within 15-20min. I would go back to this dentist again, especially for tooth removal.

She identified issues with my tooth that my previous dentist had overlooked and took the time to explain everything clearly. Fantastic experience: Needed a tooth pulled. From the booking to the extraction by Dr Daniel Samaan everything went well. I've had bad experiences in the past so my anxiety was through the roof. Dr Daniel walked me through the entire procedure as it was done reassuring me at every step. Going from being anxious to feeling comfortable with dental work is a huge leap. I can't speak highly enough of the entire team.

Negative experience: I recently saw Dr Daniel Samaan, on a public health voucher; he gave me two fillings on two of my front teeth, during the surgery he didn’t numb my gums before injecting the needle into them, nor did he explain why he was doing that, his hands shook constantly and caused a cut on my gum, which is now greyish and slimy. One of the fillings fell out, which he did warn me might happen, and when I called they said they could do another filling for free (which is generous) but would have to be under Dr Samaan again, when I explained the above and why that makes me uncomfortable, they said going to another dentist would cost money or another voucher, no apology was offered for Dr Samaan’s actions, I felt ignored in my concerns.

Fantastic experience: Leanne on the front desk was very helpful upon arrival. Dr Yong and his Assistant were very kind, friendly and did a great job. Having a severe phobia of needles, they worked together to made my time there very relaxing and put me at ease. Definitely would recommend seeing them again for any dental work.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this surgery . I have seen 3 different dentists here and all of them were professional and put me at ease . I took my 86 year old Mum to see Dr Dominic Myers and cannot thank him enough for looking after her . Mum was very nervous and Dr Dominic looked after her in such a beautiful caring way . A lot of people speak to old people like they are stupid and Dr Dominic was so respectful and treated Mum like everyone else . The professional manner he did the procedure was amazing . Also thank you to lovely Jemma on reception who got us an emergency appointment and was genuinely caring with her follow up call the next day . Thank you all very much .

Negative experience: DO NOT GO TO ANY PACIFIC SMILES!!! I attended the east Maitland practice for minor dental work after my braces were removed, and the dentist assigned to me has totally ruined my teeth, Pacific Smiles have advised “they are not responsible as each dentist works independently and are responsible to resolve their own patient concerns”. I have waited weeks for the independent dentist “to have my file reviewed by a third party” however I am still left with no outcome or communication and am now left having to seek legal advice.

Fantastic experience: This dental practice extended so much grace and kindness to me despite my difficulties as a patient. The level of caring and the patience and skill of the dentists helped immensely with my anxieties and fixed problems that have been causing me pain for years- at a tenth of the price I had been quoted by others. I will be privileged to see these dentists who through their ability can make a ten second job out of what I had been told would be a difficult surgery costing thousands. Fantastic experience: Visiting Newcastle, started to get a tooth ache Friday night, was able to get an urgent appointment Saturday. Needed to have the tooth removed. Staff were wonderful and caring. They followed up with a call Sunday to make sure everything was going OK. Thank you

Negative experience: What a terrible experience where do I start. Not by choice but out of desperate measure I couldn't get into my regular dentist and I had a chronic tooth ache deep into my jaw so got straight into this greenhills store and they got me through and got me out of pain I was thankful . Then the next trip in to sort out the root canal. This is where the fun begins second trip in thinking this was going to be the last procedure ( judging from my past experience with a root canal 2x appointments and $1180 ) but nope after sitting through a terribly painful experience to then be pushed out with no after care and to be stung with a $2800 bill for the full 3 trips but i wouldn't be making that 3rd trip what a horrible experience. NEVER GO TO THIS PRACTICE!!!

Negative experience: Dr Sahar is always running late. She constantly books too many patients in per day. I turned up ten minutes early for my appointment but after 40 minutes wait, asked the receptionist what’s happening and she lets me know that she’s sorry and should have told me the dentist was running late and it would be another half hour before I would be seen. Then told if I leave the next appointment is available but in two months time.

Fantastic experience: Went to the dentist today, always a little nervous about going to dentist, as it’s like fingers nails down a blackboard to me!!!! When they are scraping and drilling!!! But, oh my goodness, was booked in with Dr Neel Joshi. What a lovely lovely man and great dentist, explaining everything as he went along, very caring and his 2 nurses were lovely too. Thank you so much Dr, couldn’t believe that getting that filling, that I wasn’t expecting today!!! Was so painless and your care was great. Thanks so so much once again. Lisa ❤️❤️

Negative experience: I went to Pacific Smiles Dental at Greenhills today. Had a new dentist called Kamal who did an extraction. It was a very unpleasant experience. He was rough, uncaring, cut my top lip and l wouldn't recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Omg I was dreading taking My son to the dentist, due to previous attempts. Dr Amrita Singh was great! Showed him all the tools she was going to use and tested them on his finger as how they would feel. Constantly asked him for his consent to continue or do something. Highly recommend Pacific Smiles greenhills! That’s my new dentist I’ll be going too. Oh yer he had to have 2 fillings, and didn’t even realise he had a needle. Overall great success at the dentist

Fantastic experience: Had a visit to the dentist with Dr Lisa today at Greenhills pacific smiles for some painful gum issues due to pregnancy. The whole process Lisa talked me through it, and made me feel super comfortable and was always providing me with lots of reassurance. I left my visit today comfortable knowing that I was well looked after and she did everything she could to help me. The dental assistant working alongside Lisa in my appointment (sorry didn’t catch her name) was also very kind and helpful! Looking forward to coming back to my next visit with Lisa. Thank you
