Fantastic experience: I recently visited Excellence in Dentistry for amalgam filling removal, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. They attended to my safety first. They followed strict protocols, from ventilation and protective gear. I felt safe and well-informed throughout. I also had a splint made. It is well made and comfortable. I can’t speak highly of the team., They are incredibly friendly, professional and most of all accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Does the Tooth Fairy exist? Sadly no. Does a terrific dentist in the heart of Brisbane City exist?! Fortunately the answer to this question is, yes. Dr Sally and her team have been taking great care of me since I started with a simple checkup and now trust them through my Invisalign treatments and regular cleans. The front desk staff are always up for a chat and more than happy to help me adjust appointments… even if I get stuck in work meetings at the last minute and have to reschedule (soz). The hygienists are nothing less than professional and always leave me filled with confidence after a nice fresh clean. Couldn’t recommend this place more, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Have just finished up my Invisalign with Sally from Excellence in Dentistry and could not be happier with the results and also my experience every time I come into the practice. It’s always a pleasure dealing with every member of the team, and even for a person like me who previously disliked going to the dentist I actually enjoy going in for check ups and cleans. Big thanks to the whole team!

Negative experience: Despite having high expectations and willingness to visit this clinic, I was unfortunately denied my booking without a non-refundable deposit of $150. Not advising of a missed appointment, due to legitimate and chronic illness (evidence supported), and inability to contact the clinic any earlier in light of my condition and it being a weekend, I was consequently being forced to pay a $150 deposit in order to ensure the rescheduling, otherwise my appointment would be cancelled by certain time. As a client, willing to spend the foreseen high prices that come along with these types of services, I cannot believe that the clinic would force such a deposit for a completely legitimate claim. Unprofessional ‘money hungry’ type behaviour. Such a shame that supposed great dentist has such an unprofessional front desk. P.S. it is even more so understandable if the time slots were so scarce, my follow up appointment which I booked myself was available for more than a week! Including multiple other slots which I viewed upon rebooking.

Fantastic experience: What can I say - Dr Sally and her team changed my life. I did my research because I wanted veneers fitted and as they’re expensive I wanted to make sure I got the correct people to do it. I not only found the best but they unknowingly cured me of my phobia of dentists! Dr Sally gave me 3 options to help correct my overbite and give me a beautiful smile. I decided to choose braces as an initial step to my “perfect” smile. They were so kind and comforting that I had no problems having them fitted and when I broke them or accidentally dyed the bands it was never too much trouble for them to help me. The corrective braces took only 8 months for them to correct my overbite. I then had the scary task of getting my veneers. I didn’t want to look like a fake movie star! Sr Sally helped me with options on colour and size. Again nothing was too much trouble. However I don’t think I was quite prepared for my finished smile. To say I love my new teeth is an understatement. The veneers are the perfect size and fit. They look like real teeth not tombstones or thick blocks. They’re so fine on the edges and even have the small, almost see through edge along the bottom, just as real teeth do! They really are nothing short of naturally amazing! I broke my retainer this week so had to pop back in to see the team and it was like meeting up with friends. From Dr Sally, the wonderful Baz on reception and the whole entire team (which never changes btw, meaning they must be just as delightful to work for) it was a joy to see them. In summary they are the ultimate professionals. They’re kind, helpful and provide the perfect service with the best quality products. I can’t thank them enough. Now I am front and centre of every photo with a huge, open grin on my face instead of hiding in the background. Thank you so much guys, you really changed my little world!

Over the years dentists had seen me every six months, cleaned my teeth and filled any cavities. The problem was my teeth were wearing down to the dentine. They were brown, crooked and ugly. Sally worked out a complete treatment plan including Invisalign braces, veneers and crowns. My teeth now look fantastic. I couldn't be happier with Sally's work!

Dr Sally gives you all the options and is very realistic about what the treatment can achieve and what might stay the same. Dr Sally was very good for myself who has received not very good dental care in the past but wanted to see what my options were to fix my teeth as best as possible. Lastly, Dr Sally is very kind and I have never been treated with anything but the utmost respect in the practice.

Always so gentle and caring and conservative in their treatment options! Saw Dr Marc today for a filling and he was just as gentle.
